I had installed their broadband with a six month pack and with in ten days I started experiencing the worst slow streaming ever and on numerous complaints and despite assurances from their technical team using multiple excuses I got no relief.
I then asked to cancel and refund my amount which was within a span of three weeks. However their customer service agents first tried to convince me by using various excuses and then on my persisting they stated there is no refund on the said plan.
I then wrote to their senior management including CEO but as they say leadership leads for all services I got no response or acknowledgment and now they have blocked me on their social media to avoid honest but negative publicity .
Kindly get me my refund as it seems they are trying to make me continue to use till it exhausts and they do not have to refund my more than 5 month’s amount

I asked for refund and again their technician wants to come to check the internet
Look at the quality whereas I have a OLED tv and still keep getting hanging of Internet
They can come and check but am not going for we will change the box etc as did not like the approach and attitude of the whole customer service team when issue was raised initially
So I am still getting the slow internet and was trying to attach video .
However I want to cancel and get my refund but ACT again had an engineer call asking if I had complained about network post my complaint to consumer cell here
Now I had already informed I am not happy with their product and also their lousy customer service approach especially that lady who kept telling me there would be no refund and her supervisor backing her. It clearly looks like a scam of trying to force one to continue with their services and already more than ten days have gone when I asked for a cancel and refund
Kindly get the same processed

    Worst connect worst customer service and cheating approach

    I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding a recent bill payment that I made using the Act Fibernet app and the Cred app.

    On August 8, 2023, I made a bill payment through the Act Fibernet app for my account. Subsequently, on Aug 10th, I also made a bill payment for the same account using the Cred app.

    It appears that the payment processing was duplicated, resulting in two separate payments for the same billing cycle.

    I kindly request your assistance in rectifying this situation and refunding the duplicate payment made on August 10, 2023, through the Cred app.

    Issue not resolved, the customer care doesnt respond

      I have been chasing for the router delivery past 10 days plus and i have not yet received any update or status on my ticket.
      What worries me and embarrassing is no one from the ACT fibre team called or bothered to inform me the reason for delay or atleast sharing the status.The Customer service has no full information and all they mention is the issue will be resolved by 24 hours which has now become a joke.
      i subscribed for 12 months package and paid around 12k plus to ACT and i am not expecting such a lag to the customer who is been associated with them past 10 years plus.

        Internet goes off when there is power cut in the area and I have power backup

        Hi,

        The internet goes off when there is power cut in my area (Vinayaka Nagar, Annasandrapalya extension, 6th Main Road, 8th Cross, Vimanapura, Bengaluru). I have power backup for my router but the internet goes off when there is power cut in the area. Shouldn't Act have power backup for their supply? How can someone work with this problem in WFH.
        Please provide a solution or let me know, so I can look for other alternatives.br...

        If we don't recharge prepaid account then they are sending threatening messages

        I am using prepaid internet services of act fibernet account number[protected] from past more than 6 months. This month due to some personal reasons i did not recharge my prepaid account. From the next onwards there are so many messages daily basis are being sent and after a week or so they have started sending threatening emails and messages.         I deactivated my ACT subscription for ACCOUNT No:[protected] on July 10th, 2023 but paid the full invoice amount for July month.
        I keep on following up with the ACT team for a refund but they are saying “ACT does not entertain refund of any amounts that may have been paid by the ‘Subscriber’ and you can use the same credit balance by renewing the plan at the time of reconnection from our end.”

        But I’m clearly saying that I have no plan to reactivate the account. So, we need your support to resolve the issue.

          I am facing internet issue from last 4 days and 3 days back I had raised a ticket about the issue in ACT fibernet official site. But, it is not solved yet and takes long time to resolve, day by day they are increasing the resolution time; I am very disappointed with the service and they also charged for non-servicing days.

            I am very disappointed with customer service, day by day they are increases the resolution time but they are charging for the non-servicing days also.

              I recently moved to a new place where I have an internet connection with the name of the house owner and now I want it to change to my name but they are charging for this and will keep the internet down for a week.
              Other providers do this in a day without charges.
              Even after paying such a huge amount daily, there is some problem with the connection.

                To start of, this has been the most horrendous experience I had to go through, I have been your customer for a very long time and was quite happy with your services however when I moved in 2019, I had requested for a transfer of your services to another location and had installed the power supply box, at that time the agent I spoke to said that there would be a power supply discount which would be automatically added to my account every year, however due to some mishap from your end you people failed to do it which to my misfortune I realised recently. When I called in none of your agents were cordial or polite instead they preferred passing me around to a number that disconnected even after waiting on the line for 20 mins.
                I had agents call me back saying they are supervisors who would disconnect within 10 seconds, one of those supervisor's decided to talk to me for more than 10 seconds (this guy I really wished I could take his name down) was extremely rude and said that he wouldn't credit me back the power supply discount which according to your policy is something that a customer is liable for when he/she install a power distribution box and said do whatever you want to do and hung up.
                This is my last attempt to resolve this issue before I post this on social media and raise a complaint with consumer court. I would really appreciate if we could get a solution for my issue wherein I am supposed to receive a special power supply credit from[protected].
                Hoping we can find a solution to this.

                  My act account number is[protected]. My internet is not working. Why was I facing these issues frequently? Every month at least one or two times I am faced with the same problem. You don't have sufficient technical support engineers? Here they were always doing very slow and lazy work. Only two days before I faced the same problem and now again. I purchased this broadband connection for my online class purpose. Whenever I faced this problem, I canceled my online classes and faced income loss. If your side cannot give proper service, simply inform me, I will be ready to use another service provider.

                    I am from Madurai. ACT account number is[protected]. Here every month one or two times the internet was not working. Frequently I complained again and again to ACT customer care. They just send one ticket number only. But it takes a long time to resolve the problems. I think they don't have proper business requirements and sufficient knowledgeable technical engineers. All times they very slowly as well as doing their laziness work only. Whenever I face the issue, they are taking full one day for resolving. But whenever I was called them, they were answering my calls "one hour to solve, within evening to solve, within night to solve, within the early morning will solve and within afternoon will solve and again repeating same answers". They were not providing satisfactory services. Very poor service and very bad customer care support.

                        Hi ACT,
                        I have been a customer for 4 years and enjoyed your service from yesterday I was facing issues like internet not working and raised a ticket for the following .I even paid a deposit of 1000 rs for router at the time.When technician visited they said that router is having port issue .I asked them to replace the port/router after a talk with customer care now the customer care team is telling me that they cannot replace it with a new router only a refurbished router will be provided and raised a disconnection request for the same as a service provider you are holding my deposit amount plus not even providing a viable alternative a refurbished one can have more issue's in near future

                            Frequently internet disconnected after 24 hours also no one came and resolved issue.

                            After 24 hours we communicated to customer service again he is telling again 24 hours needed.

                            No proper response from customer care and technicians

                              Please note that i am using ACT net for the last more than 2 years here.

                              I switched over to new package of combo package and paid the required amount of Rs. 6, 400/- for 6 months package as per the direction from the sales man of ACT.

                              So you shound not charge any additional amount. But you charged Rs. 295 for otp connection something your people said. i dont understand it why this is required since it tis your duty to provide the net and scope TV as requested in the combo package.

                              I have talked to atleast 20 people at ACT Customer service but all in vain.

                              Having paid Rs 6.4 k and you are disconnection my internat is not accepatable at all and for each and every hour of your disconnection i need compensation of one month extention since i paid the money and it is with you. you dont have right to disconnect it.

                              Also please note that the scope TV connectivities are not working properly and requested your sales man to come and fix it but not turned so far or sent somebody to fix it.

                              under this circumstances i request to reconnect the interenet immediately..
                              Also send someone to fix once for all all the issues of combo pacakage.

                              My salesman in this case if one Mr. Sridharan Santhakumar whose mobile phone is switched off.

                              I have told him every day to look into it as he sold the package and i need my internet immediately without any stoppage.

                              You are supposed to compensate for the existing messup created by your organisation.

                              do act immediately and restore connection immediately.

                              Because of your lazyness in solving (22 people i talked to in this case) i have to use my alternative internet players to manage my things. hence you are to compensate me for the same.

                              If my connection does not come by 1.30 this after noon you have to compensate for 2 months extra internet on the amount i already paid.
                              If it is not restored by today then i need for each day one month extention for each day day. Hope you will understand and restore immediately connection

                              Act urgently ACT. I cant expect this nonunderstanding and lethargic attitude since I paid money and i am eligible to get the connectivity without stoppage.

                                  I have disconnected ACT services in the year 2022 because of continuous network issues. No one contacted me to return router.

                                  Now in 2023, after one year, iam getting continuous messages that they will contact me to return router. But no one gave a phone call.

                                  I have mailed to customer care also. They said they will take care of issue.

                                  But again I'm getting messages.

                                  If no one called me, to whom should I return router. No one called me when I had disconnected.

                                  But why are you harassing me thorough messages

                                  If you have called me when I had disconnected in the year 2022, I should have given the router, why didn't you called me??? No one called me to return router. I had kept the router to return, but no call from ACT

                                  Even now, you are messaging me that you will call to retrieve router, buy why you are not calling me?? If you don't call, to whom should I return router.

                                  I can't put up anymore

                                  Because of frequent network issues, I had disconnected. If you forgot to call me to return router, is it my fault??

                                  Even now you are not calling. only I'm getting messages, but no call, without calling, to whom should I give router.
