I created a account on BM on Jan 12 2021 and my subscription got auto renewed to my surprise without any intimation on 12 April

I haven't used my old services also to the fullest because very soon we got tired of the profiles posted to us and lost interest .we were about to deactivate when all of a sudden we are charged for another 3 months

When you create a account on BM they never by any means indicate you about the auto renewal not even do they share any links to read their conditions online in any of the initial mailers .So its so obvious that you will miss this autorenewal ON/OFF process when you have no idea that there is such thing which is by default on .

Bharat matrimony has clearly stated in their Terms and conditions (attached) that they will send intimation mails regarding the autorenewal and a cancellation mail on the day of renewal, but they are not doing any of these and directly deducting our hard earned money without our permission .The whole process of this autorenewal thing is so shady made just to loot their customers.

I need a refund at the earliest .I am not interested in using any of your services so kindly help me get my money back.

This is indeed a clear case of cheating and FRAUD.

    We were told to take assisted service claiming they have profiles as per criteria. However, once we signed up, they started sending profiles outside the criteria. Even with constant intimation that these profiles are outside of criteria we have signed up for, they forcefully sent those profiles just to meet the requirement of sending a certain number of profiles. We kept telling them to stop this service and refund the money, but they kept on doing this until the period got over. Now they are not returning calls or emails, also deleted the profile all together from the system and we cannot log in with the registered email address!

        My name is dalton cleetus.I currently worked as a health professional in saudi Arabia.i created a profile I think nearly 1 week ago.i registered through ur site aside get free membership. The complaint is that when I open my profile on 26 march yesterday there is list of people whom I didnt view their profile is on the list which shows shortlisted by me.i am having serious concerns regarding this issue and other members whom I request sent me may be declined. Or misunderstand. Only few members that I sent request as interest.i strongly reconvening pls take strict action against ur company staff who is playing double agent and making matches splitting.The second concern is about Customer care executive named saranya who did not give me feedback session report at the end of session and she said to me that within 48 hrs she will send on my mail.This staff is failed to comply his duty as Customer executive as she did nt give instant customer feedback score report.The second chat session is with muthu Customer care executive also do the same thing to me.i strongly recommend please remove these two unptofessionaled staff who didnt satisfying the customer needs.As a free member who is not paying or taking time for payment is the reason which these type of activities occurring within your organization. Please take strict action by dismissing these two Customer care executives named saranya and muthu also help me to find the unidentified user who manipulates my profile.

          Bharat Matrimony auto renewed my subscription without my permission

          Address: Pune

          Bharat Matrimony has debited by renewal charges without my permission. There was no intimation prior the debit date. When I spoken to customer care, they are denied the transaction. Bank has confirmed that transaction has been done.

          The services are very poor.Need justice & wanted my money back.

          I have made a payment through my credit card, they have charged the wrong amount I was charged AED 1565, I should have been charged AED 313 only which were displayed on the website at the time of doing payment.

          I have mailed the BM customer care also no one replied and no one is helping me. After activating a membership plan I didn’t receive any single email also from their end and no invoice was received too.

          Really third class service they are giving to customers. and their website and application doesn’t have any kind of security. I will suggest to other people, do not use their website for any kind of payments, instead o[censored]sing credit/Debit card option use doorstep collection method for the payments tell them to collect cash from your door to avoid online payment Fraud.

            Dear, Sir/madam

            My name is Raja Ravi Varma K, i am a paid member of( TAMIL MATRIMONY ) my membership has ended already ( I don't have any idea renewing as of now), I don't remember setting an auto pay authorization from my credit card for renewal, but still an amount of Rs.3900 got deducted without any transaction authorization from my end. I feel that this is quite unethical.

            Kindly take action on the same and refund the amount at the earliest.

              They are into business of cheating people by providing false information before receiving payment and after the customer is duped, they don't bother to respond. Its a money making fraud business by fooling people.

              Its been a week after raising the complaint. No progress on resolution. They keep sending standard replies on mail. No difference even after writing mails to CEO. Absolutely pathetic and unfair business policy of this company. A fraudulent way of money making business by cheating people.

                Fraud & money extracting profiles + similar phone calls from company

                COMPLAINT NUMBER 1 -

                We received an accept on BHARAT MATRIMONY of profile id H9389629 with Name ABHISHEK SHARMW on the 15th of January and got connected on call next day. It was requested that the boy wanted to talk directly with the prospective girl to which we accepted.

                Right after talking for 3 days this boy made it clear that it was a yes from his side and was ready to get married soon. So, as it was a yes...

                This company is big fraud guys don't use this website they will take your money by giving false promises and commitment and never met up your expectations and commitment and they will never refund your money if customer is not satisfied with their service. Taking their services means losing money they are big fraud. They mentioned in their website that within 30 days if you are not satisfied with the service you can ask for refund but they will never return your money

                  Myself shradha mehrotra. I am registered in the punjabi matrimony from 15th of oct 2020 till 15th of jan 2021. It was 3 months supcription of goldpackage. My id is P1931540. I was continuosly getting calls from the relationship manager for package since the day i registered. I was given only 40 contacts in 3 months which was of no use. I paid rs2600 & they promised me you ill getpunjabi boys profiles from mumbai but i got other caste profiles like marathi, sindhi gujrati etc...mostly pref was given to punjabis. Nw my subcription is almost over. I have lost my money. They called me and now asking to buy the other package saying that it has 150 contacta again which cost more then 2600 rs. I cant effort the further cost. In this website boys add us & when we msg or call them thwy make excuses saying that i am busy will call u later & sorry i added you bymistake. Is this a valid reason for marraiges. I am unhappy with the services fake promoses by them even some contacts numbers provided are not working or does not recieve. I was completely cheated. Instead i would have purchased shadi.com subcription. They had brainwashed. lease help with the process of refund.

                    This is against the fraudulent assisted matrimony service from Bharat matrimony. This is the second time they are doing this to us. First time we registered for assisted service they just assined some stupid personal who is least interested in even finding a proper profile. The same promises were made first time too that if it doesnt happen we will convert to 'Till u marry' package which will let us see the phone numbers of matching profiles for us to contact(free profile we cant see any information), but since we ddnt have any written documentation to prove it we couldnt claim it or follow up. They started igonring our call.

                    A year later, similar calls for registering in assisted started coming up and this time with the promise that it will never get repeated again and also they send an email confirmation with approvals that ' u will get converted to Till U Marry package' and took another 14 k for the 3 month service from us.

                    They assigned a personal and she was available for 3 months, Even though she couldnt find good profiles, at least she called and checked those profiles which we gave. Thats all!!! and even after 3 months nothing got confirmed. Now the fun part. Suddenly after 3 months this girl told she has resigned and gave some other number. The number she gave, they never picks calls and even if they picks they tells network issue and cant update the profile now. It has been going on for weeks now. We just want the basic services as they promised, the conversion to 'Till u marry ' that will let us search ourselves.

                    They are just eating money without any value for words or even 'emails' they are sending us.

                    Over all they took 28k from us without any outcome. They are the biggest FRAUDSSSSS
                    Dont ever fall prey for ASSISTED service from BHARAT MATRIMONY

                    I had raised a complained and it was marked as resolved without my consent. Posting again.

                      Even after collecting Rs18, 000 for 3 months assisted service in Malayalam they are not keeping their word and services. They steal profiles and photographs from other services and give false promise to prospects. Profiles are not updated. no phone or emails are given. Instead of helping their representatives are thwarting the services.
                      They have got some 20 different services and collect money for each one. Assisted service is a fraud and bogus one.
                      Other sites like Chavara matrimony, Bethlehem and others charge only 5000 to 7000 and offer all facilities including direct phone and email services.
                      Very greedy fellows looting money from simple customers!

                        Hi,

                        Name: Arun Babu
                        Reddy Matrimony id: RDY392673
                        Tamil Matrimony id: M7788423

                        I have paid for twin pack in reddy matrimony (ie., they have to activate my paid profile in reddy matrimony & tamil matrimony).

                        But they have activated only one in reddy matrimony only. Tamil matrimony profile not activated. I called to the customer care & raised the complaint to activate it. But they telling they have activated to other profile which is blocked(not usable). Still the issue not resolved.

                        Before paying the amount, i have clearly checked with the customer care people in chat, i have told my new profile id also. They said both are linked, after paying it will get activate.

                        Now they are changing the story, making me in trouble.

                        Kindly help on this issue to resolve asap.

                          Asking for refund for not activating twin ids and Unhappy with the services and fake promises, profile incorrect data and fake profiles. process money back guarantee and refund.                           Hi team,

                          I paid 5500 rs yesterday 9-dec 2020 for activating both chettiar and Bharatmatrimony- m4246838. The amount was 3600 rs while discussing only for matrimony. Manager karthick told me that for activating both I need to pay 5500 rs instead of 6000 which was told by executive nivedhitha. He only activated matrimony but told he will do chettiar by yesterday evening. when I asked it was not in the package while paying, he said he will do manually by evening yesterday. Later at 6pm I called him again and told him to active. he told it will be activated by 8pm surely. It is next day now, the chettiar Id is still not activated - Chy483600.

                          Now I don't want any chettiar id to active. Please only update/ activate matrimony I'd with platinum for 3600 rs as per the first discussion and return the remaining amount 1900 to my payment mode. Otherwise, refund the entire amount as the services, fake promises from managers and executive is making me unhappy and extremely making me frustrated. Even the contact numbers are not working and I have raised a complaint as well from matrimony already. I contact I tried opening tat itself not worked so immediately writing this email. response from the members are not satisfying either. ids are being temporarily unavailable most of most members. Screenshot attached.

                          So as per money back guarantee as discussed over phone and guaranteed by the manager karthick, please refund entire money back as I am completely unhappy and mentally disturbed because of this. This is making me mentally ill and frustrated.

                          Hi consumer complaint team,

                          The issue is not resolved yet. The person who spoke with me had not provided any resolution as I was outside I asked him to call me again sometime after. The issue was about the matches and phone numbers are not matching to my profile and not meeting the expectations as promised and few numbers are not even reachable i have raised complaint several times but has been ignored. Even after the use of over a week matrimony service, I am unsatisfied with the services. I am completely unsatisfied and feeling cheated by bharatmatrimony and the executive and manager who did fake promises. Please help process for the refund as guaranteed is the complaint as per money back guaranteed.

                              I am Josin P Jose, writing to convey the need of our wedding album. My marriage was in the year 2018, and till now we did not receive our wedding album due to the irresponsibility of Kerala matrimony staff members.
                              We had arranged everything (food and accomodation) for the staff who were sent by Kerala matrimony office. However, they were very late (they reached 20 minutes before) for the photoshoot on the wedding day at bride's house.
                              We contacted in given number, but the person gave us another number and said to call them, we called them as per the instruction and they said that they will issue our album within one month as we are working outside. Unfortunately we did not receive it. Again we contacted them and the same replay they had given us and also they gave us a total 5 person's contact number for the clarification.

                              I am sorry to tell you that our post wedding shoot was also not taken. We tried to contact them for so many times, but they did not give a proper answer. and after 6 or 7 months we were instructed to submit all selected photos for issuing the album and we did so. however, it got delayed again and again. We did contact them frequently and then they said to pay balance money of 24000/- RS (Groom + Bride). (we have all call records if you want the proof).
                              Now I am telling you sir, we are ready with the due amount in our hand and please do the needful on this matter as we are really sad and unsatisfied with their response, which would be beneficial for us.

                                Their personnel gave a written promise by mail on 02.11.2020 to activate membership in Kayastha Matrimony and Bharat Matrimony after payment. But, after getting payment, he upgraded membership in Kayastha Matrimony only,

                                I have lodged complaint with them on 10.11.2020 days back and have been sending reminder mails. I have also been calling up their helpline regularly. But, no solution provided by them except acknowledgement (CBS[protected].

                                Bharat Matrimony Customer Care are evading the issue. I have given them the name and mobile number of their person who promised me for the activation through a mail. The person works with them.
                                A complaint vide Ticket No. CBS 13175377 was lodged with them on 10.11.2020 which is still outstanding. I called repeatedly on their Helpline number but their personnel kept on telling me that they are looking into the issue which will be resolved soon.
                                I have already mailed to them several times with the Ticket No. to their Customer Care, but each time they generate a new Ticket No.
                                I have all the records.
