Once the tickets are booked, the seats are sold at the cinema's end and we being a ticket aggregate cannot cancel, exchange or refund a confirmed booking. Ideally in such scenarios, we recommend the customers to gift the tickets to friends/family and authorise them to attend on your behalf.         Hi team, I was trying to book tickets for Hobbit movie at Hyderabad from book my show app on my mobile on 9th of Dec 2014. A sum of Ra. 822 was deducted from my bank account through debit card but there was error shown and transaction got cancelled. I have not received any further message on the refund status.                     This is one of the worst cinema hall you will ever visit. They cancel night shows for hollywood movies at their fancies . It happened with me in the month of, july, sept, oct 2014 when I went there to watch night shows. Also they will not do transactions from swipe machine saying it is out of order. Recently I went there to watch dracula and I travelled 20 kms from Noida Extn. and besides there were many people who travelled such ditances and when we reached they told the show is cancelled. I have a question for Book my show that why iti is putting names of such multiplexes on its websites and booking ticket for them?? What about our time getting wasted??

                      Transaction Failed And My Money is Deducted

                      On 2 Oct, while Booking Ticket from BookMyShow site, my Transaction is Failed and My money is also deducted, After some day i called to BookMyShow customer care and tell all the Problem. After that they given one refrence number [[protected] ] . So many time i called for the problem but every time they are telling they will get back to me, on 14/10/2014 i talked around 32 min but no Result....

                      By mistake I booked a movie ticket on wrong date . There is no option to cancel tickets in site. I called up consumer service for rescheduling the booking however they denied to do the same. They even denied to refund. Please take this complaint seriously and I request you to take necessary action .

While booking tickets, a note stating 'Registrations/Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged, cancelled or refunded.' Is mentioned on the payment page before confirming the booking.

                      Once a ticket is booked the seats are sold at the cinema's end and we being ticket aggregates do not have a authority to cancel or make any changes in a existing booking. We care for our customers and hence our team was trying to give you an alternate to avoid a wastage of the tickets.

                      Even I faced the same problem on 01/Nov/2014 . I booked 4 movie tickets for 02nd Nov 2014 but site automatically blocked ticket for next day I called up to the book my show team just after 15-20 minutes informing them that I booked tickets for wrong date but they simply said that " we are not able to do anything once the ticket was sold out then it is not our responsibility, you can give the ticket to you friends or any other person.

                      By saying that we have already given a disclaimer before booking will not suffice for customer satisfaction...Where is the after sales service here... there should be a TAT to refund the amount.. As a partner of cinema where is book my show responsibility.

                      You people are doing business with cinema hall but when any issue occurred then it was not book my show responsibility


                      I will say that this is not a customer friendly organization... you are fraudsters who just want someone to trap...I will recommend all my friends to not to use book my show.

                        On 1st October we booked ticket from www.bookmyshow.com for movie Haider for 9:30 pm dated 2nd October, but as we reached hall to claim for Our booked tickets we got to know that there was no show for Haider . We asked to give us our show ticket that was playing but they said they have given our seat to someone else . Entire management was insensitive to our problem ignoring us for around 1 hour . They didn't even us information about the cancellation and denied any refund to us for our online ticket . The entire process was a mental agony as the management was insensitive to our problem

                            I asked my friend to register 3 tickets of bookmyshow for me and 2 of my friends. He registered. And now, the thing is he will not be there, so I will not be able to show the Debit Card on theatre window. So, will it create a problem. Please reply as soon as problem.

                            We do understand your view on the situation on your query. We would like to inform you that tickets booked online are only handed over to the card holder on presenting the confirmation mail/sms along with the credit/debit card used while transacting.

                            In case of the cardholder's absence the person collecting the tickets needs to present the authorisation letter along with the photo copy of the front and the reverse side of the card used for transacting(For security we recommend you to scratch off the expiry date and cvv code)

                            We understand the importance and sensitivity related to the sharing of such personal information and the security of the same would never be compromised from our end. Hence we always upfrontly request our customers to scratch the CVV and the Expiry date of the card in order to avoid any discrepancies.

                              This is Ankit katoch, my complaint no is 73623 and phone no. used for booking was [protected].
                              On 29/12/2014 My money (Rs.172)was deducted from my account but no ticket was generated and the hopeless helpline no. was either busy or even if connected kept me on waiting for a loooong time and they said wait for 10 working days. Even after the 13 working days I didn&#039;t get my refund. After that I called the customer care many times but I didn&#039;t get any refund till now. By calling them again and again, I have spent 30- 40 rupees talktime for that. Which should be refunded too.
                              Sorry to say but Book my show is a worst site for buying or booking movie tickets or merchandise...they are not the reliable ones and have the customer executives as mere phone handlers and not the problem resolvers. Its useless to book through this site and next time i would recommend everyone to stop using this site completely until they understand the value of a customer.
                              Please refund my money as soon as possible otherwise I have to take some legal against you.

                                  This is really bad BookMyShow, If the customer want to cancel the ticket for some unexpected situation or reason they cannot cancel or they do not have alternative option, then how will they get money back... very very very bad... Not satisfied for your service Bookmyshow.. Cheating the customer...

                                  You can bring a smile on someone's face by authorising friends/family to attend on your behalf or visit the ticket counter at the cinema and request for a sell off.
