I have booked my tickets through book and i haven't received any tickets from book my show .

I have called book my show 20 times but they are just saying delivered but it is not actually delivered .

I have paid 6500 Rs.

Please help

    We had paid Rs. 3,000/- to book an International Music Concert scheduled to be held at Noida on 14th Feb, 2013. The show subsequently got cancelled. But, money was never refunded. After much correspondence the company is maintaining that the money was refunded directly to my account, which is a blatant lie. They are refusing to provide any valid online (bank-recognised) tracking details in support of their claim that refund has been effected. On the contrary, they are insisting that this money has been refunded and that the case is now closed. They have stopped taking our phone calls and refuse to address the complaint. Is there any way we can bring them to book and publicise their cheating ways?

    We regret the inconvenience caused to you while receiving the refund of your transaction against the booking id PERC00000219W1. We understand your view on the situation. The matter of the fact, on receiving the update regarding the cancellation of the event FLY Music Festival, we had initiated the refund of your transaction on[protected]:03:17 and it takes a maximum of 10-15 days from then for the amount to get reflected in your account.

    There may be a high possibility of the delay in the reversal amount to reflect in your account as it involves the card issuing bank.

    Our customer care team had reverted to your email with the reversal details on 16th April.

    Do let us know if we can be of any help to you and in case of not receiving a resolution, please share with us your Bank Manager's contact number and we will try sorting this our for you.

      Hi, This is ABHISHEK ROY. I am a salaried professional working in Tata Consultancy Services. I am an honest and law-abiding citizen of this country. My address is 1/40 SAHID NAGAR, DHAKURIA, KOLKATA-700031 and my cell number is [protected].

      On 21st April, 2013, I bought 2 tickets for the 5:30 PM show of Hindi movie Ek Thi Dayan worth INR 549.44 at INOX Forum Mall (Elgin Rd, Kolkata) using BookMyShow iphone application from my personal number [protected]. I made the payment through HDFC netbanking. This transaction was made between 4:20 PM - 4:30 PM. Screenshot of the same is attached.

      Booking history of the BookMyShow iphone application showed the seat numbers booked GL - Q-16, Q-17. But the booking ID was missing. I also did not received any SMS in my personal number about confirmation of the booking.

      Since I was travelling to watch the movie, I did not get any chance to call up the helpline number to inform about the missing booking ID or that I did not receive SMS confirmation of my booking. I also did not felt that necessary as the booking history mentioned ticket numbers (GL - Q-16, Q-17) provided above.

      I produced the booking history through BookMyShow iphone application and payment through HDFC netbanking application to collect the tickets at the INOX Forum Mall ticket counter but they refused to issue me tickets as my booking history didnt showed booking ID.

      Hence, I had to buy 2 tickets for the 5:30 PM show of Hindi movie Ek Thi Dayan worth INR 500 at INOX Forum Mall (Elgin Rd, Kolkata) again.
      This time I paid with my VISA credit card and I got the tickets (GL, Q-14, Q-15) from the counter. Screenshot of the same is also attached.

      I also noticed that the seats which showed in my booking ID (GL - Q-16, Q-17) for which I was refused being issued tickets at the INOX Forum counter, were also occupied in the theatre.

      Thus, I end up paying the price of 4 tickets INR 1049.44 (549.44 through HDFC netbanking for transaction through BookMyShow iphone application + 500 through Visa Credit Card at INOX Forum Counter) and watched for 2 tickets.

      Yesterday morning, when I checked my email, I could see the booking id in the booking confirmation mail that was sent after yesterday's transaction through BookMyShow iphone application.

      Since, this has happened due to problem with BookMyShow iphone application not generating Booking ID and not sending SMS confirmation against my booking in my personal number, I had requested BookMySHow to please refund me the price of 2 tickets INR 549.44 that was charged to me through BookMyShow iphone application.

      I then called up BookMyShow helpline number and explained the entire incident. But they replied that they will not be able to help me on this.

      Please request you to investigate this and bring this to closure. Hope this will be resolved at the earliest.

        Hi,

        I am Vinayak Chanshetti (cell no [protected]). I booked 3 tickets for Special 26' using BookMyShow.com for Fun time Multiplex, Pune, for 4:15PM show for date 11th Feb 2013 using Axis Bank net banking
        After selecting seats and entering my account details, bookmyshow website displayed some message like 'processing...' and after some time, it displayed, 'oops, an error occurred'.
        But an amount of Rs 501.55 was debited from my account. This transaction was done at around 12:22PM on 11th Feb 2013.
        I waited for around 20-25 minutes, but i didn't receive any sms or e-mail from book my show for confirmation of tickets but i did receive sms from citibank for deduction of money.

        Now, After 20 minutes .i.e. at around 12:49PM (15th Aug), i again tried to book some other 3 tickets and i received sms and mail from book my show this time.

        So, basically money for my 1st transaction should be refunded bookmyshow as it didn't handle the transaction properly and deducted amount without booking the seats.

        I contacted the on-line customer care executives also but they also just say that we will contact you as soon as possible but then there is no reply/respose.

        I request a refund of Rs 501.55/- from bookmyshow.

        Also, there is one unsuccessful transaction on[protected]:23:29 and the refund for this transaction is already initiated from our end on[protected]:41:31. The amount for the same would be reflected back to your account within the next 7 to 8 working days.

        Please check your bank statement for the mentioned period and email us the screenshot so that we can check this with the concerned bank and assist you.

        In my case also same first trnx failed & second was successful. We fought with customer care to refund money and atlast after fighting for 1 week BMS agreed to refund money. Since its their system problem.

        I tried booking tickets twice and both the time amount(618.40) was deducted but ticket was not booked for date: Mon, Jul 20, 2015.The very next day i.e Tue, Jul 21, 2015, payment of 618.40/- was credited in my account.         I booked my ticket on Thursday 23 July 2015 the payment was done through my card for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. I booked three tickets and inclusive of all taxes the total amount was Rs 608. The amount was credited from my card but I did not get any text message about my movie tickets nothing from bookmyshow came to me therefore the people at the cinema refused to let me watch the movie they asked for the text which I did not get. I had to then again book the tickets but this time the booking was done by me at the miraj cinema itself. I request my refund. Moreover the screen timings were wrong at your website I want my refund asap.

        I booked 2 tickets for Uppi2 Movie through Book My Show at Gopalan Cinemas, Bangalore for 16th August 2015, 11. 35am show. I booked through Vijaya Bank net banking and transaction was successful, amt of Rs. 387 was immediately deducted. But I have not received any message or Mail from BMS. I called Gopalan Cinemas and they say tat ther s no booking in my name for tat show. I tried contacting customer care, but was unsuccessful as call was getting disconnected continously. I was booking tickets regularly at BMS but never expected such an pathetic and worst service. Plz reply on this issue at the earliest and plz intiate refund process at the earliest.

        Hi,
        I booked 5 tickets for Mayuri Movie through Book My Show at PVR, Forum Mall, Hyd for 11th October 2015, 5.10P.M Show. I booked through HDFC Bank net banking and my 1st transaction was failed due to some technical issues and even the amount was not deducted and also I did not get any mail or message like the transaction was failed :( . And now, the 2nd transaction I have done for the same movie n same time on same date, the 2nd transaction was confirmed and the tickets also confirmed which I have got the confirmation message on 10th October at 3.59P.M but I got the cancellation msg and mail from BMS on 11th October in the morning at 10 A.M. So what do we think... we cant go back and think what happen... but we thought like the tickets which are confirmed only hasbeen cancelled.

        But When I contacted the on-line customer care executives also and they tried to convince me alot but I didnot convinced and I just told them that I need to talk to the manager rt away so the person on call kept me hold for a minute and later he informed me that their manager has took my contact nuber and told me that we will contact you as soon as possible.

        I am Mahendra Shinde (cell no [protected]). I booked 3 tickets for Sairat Marathi Movie' using BookMyShow.com for City Pride Kothrud Multiplex, Pune, for 6:45 PM show for date 5th May 2016 using Indian Overseas Bank Debit Card.
        After selecting seats and entering my account details, bookmyshow website displayed some message like 'processing...' and after some time, it displayed, 'oops, an error occurred'.
        But an amount of Rs. 554.83 was debited from my account. This transaction was done at around 10.56 AM on 4th May 2016.
        I waited for around 5-10 minutes, then i receive sms from book my show for confirmation failed of tickets and then i also receive sms from Indian Overseas Bank for deduction of money.

        Now, After 10 minutes .i.e. at around 11.11AM (4 MAY), i again tried to book some other 3 tickets and i received sms and mail again for same not confirmation of tickets. This time I Tried this 5 time. all time money deducted but not booking tickets.My total amount deduction is 3369.98 Rs.

        I dont received my refund yet. This is a huge amount for me.

        I contacted the on-line customer care executives also but they also just say that we will contact you as soon as possible but then there is no reply/respose. And they also said we did not received your booking amount yet.
        Then what can I do now. Now I am in full tension for getting my money refunded or not. I trust on bookmyshow for refunding my money without any issue.

        I kindly request for refund of Rs 3369.98/- from bookmyshow as early as possible.

But I got a msg stating my transaction has failed as the cinema has not responded due to some reason, but have received the payment of Rs 521. I request you to kindly refund the above said amount.

        Gusys just so that we are aware about Book my show's definition of Black Marketing...(they are more creatively logical on phone then when giving in writing):
        If a customer is cancelling a ticket and book my show lets the customer do it, that would imply that their software system would have to intimate the cinema hall for release of the tickets. Now if the released tickets are again re-issued to another customer through their portal, then as per book my show, it would come under definition of black marketing!!! So to avoid being caught into the '100 ka 2' moment, they do not make any provisioning for correction in tickets for human errors while booking tickets!!

        Hope there are clearer rules and better explanation to handle these instead of brushing aside with logic of 'government policy hain

        Refund for failed online ticket booking

        I am Shilpa D Shetty (cell no [protected]). I booked 2 tickets for JIGARTHANDA using BookMyShow.com for PVR : FORUM Fiza Mangalore (AUDI 06) For 3:45PM show for date 26th June 2016 using State bank of Travancore net banking
        After selecting seats and entering my account details, bookmyshow website displayed some message like 'processing...' and after some time, it displayed, 'oops, an error occurred'.
        But an amount of Rs 168.00 was debited from my account. This transaction was done at around 12:42PM on 26th June 2016. I have received Message from VM-BMSHOW "We are sorry that your payment for Jigarthanda at PVR : Forum Fiza, Mngalore (AUDI 06) failed. Pls try again later. But I did receive sms from SB Travancore for deduction of money.

        Now, After 20 minutes .i.e. at around 1.01PM I again tried to book 2 tickets and I have received same sms and deducted amount of Rs.266.00 from my account.

        Again I tried to book 2 tickets and I have received same sms and deducted amount of Rs.266.00 from my account again.
        Then I have received the mail for BookMyShow that "We are sorry that your payment for Jigarthanda at PVR: Forum Fiza, Mangalore (AUDI 06)was not successful. Your tickets have hence not been booked. The amount for the said transaction has not been charged by us. In case, the amount has been charged, the refund will be processed by your respective bank"

        So, basically money for my 3 transactions should be refunded bookmyshow as it didn't handle the transaction properly and deducted amount without booking the seats.


        I request to refund of Rs 700.00 from bookmyshow.

All are ok but last time of transaction displayed my screen oops transaction error ...but debited my account 196Rupees but not refunded in last 4hours ..so help and support me please book my show

          I have booked two cinema ticket on 14.11.2012 through BookMyShow for an amount of Rs 345.94.Though They failed to book my ticket but said amount has been deducted from my account.After three times of inquiry BookMyShow given me the number[protected] and told me that the amount has been returned through this number in my bank account.I am yet to get the money. Please make an inquiry.

            Glitz — Tickets

            I had booked Peepli Live tickets through my ICICI Bank credit card no.[protected] on 15.8.2010 through Book my show. Since no ID was recd. I booked a fresh and ID. [protected] was issued and I got the tickets. Now ICICI Bank statement shows double debit including the tickets for which no ID was issued. Please refund an amount of Rs.383.09 charged against no tickets.

              I have booked a ticket in www.bookmyshow.com website 1 month ago but the movie release is postponed to some other day . These website team messaged me that they would refund the money. I have waited for 1 week but the money was not refunded. i have mailed them that money was not refunded with screen shot of account . After almost 1 month they again mailed me that your ticket is not confirmed on that particular day so we have already refunded the money .

              These are the ticket details. I have taken the printout ticket of seat numbers then how can they cheat me like that your transaction is failed on that day.

              Book My Show — Waiting for refund after 1 month

              I have tried to book ticket of film from "book my show" web site. But that was failed trasaction. But amount got deducted. And ticket were not booked. My bank confiirms me in writting that "amount has been successfully acccepted by merchant. So they are going to refund."

              Even though I have called and mailed many times with transaction statement which clearly shows that amount has been debited and also send them necesary code which my bank provided which shows that bookmyshow has accepted the payment, then also they are just saying that matter is being investigated.

                      I tried to book concert tickets through their portal and despite three failed attempts, i wasnt able to.. I then checked with my credit card company and it turns out they have debited the amount the next day

                      I immediately asked them to cancel the ticket, but they refused and asked me to sell it at the venue. I didnt go for the event thinking that the money will be reversed to my account. None of this was to happen

                      I asked them atleast to give me some store credit, which they also refuse. They are sending me very curt replies to my emails and i am hating the way they are treating me as a customer. I didnt go for the event, so i expect a full refund considering its a mistake with their system

                      They are not even ready to give me a proper treatment or a store credit kind of alternative arrangement, leave alone the full refund

                      I will never ever book tickets from BOOK MY SHOW. I have booked so many tickets in the past and this incident has diminished my faith in the company

                        Bookmyshow.com charged me twice on my booking on 17-Sep-2012 for the movie Barfi! (booked through Standard Chartered Credit Card) While the amount was charged from my card but the ticket was not booked.
                        On contacting Bookmyshow customercare twice in 2 weeks after booking, i was assured that i would get a refund in less than 21 days. Its one complete month but I am yet to receive a single penny.

                        I request action be taken for the pathetic service of refund technology that the company maintains.

                          On September 15th 2012, we tried booking three movie tickets through bookmyshow for the movie Burfi in Everest Theatre, Bangalore. The tickets weren't booked but the money got debited from my account. Even after several calls to the customer care and dropping mails, the issue hasn't been resolved. It is sheer negligence on the part of bookmyshow and an absolute displeasure to follow up on a case where the mistake is not even our's. I am also forwarding a e-mail alert from my bank for the amount debited. I am also not going to recommend bookmyshow to anyone in future. The first time also happens to be the last time and the experience has been more than horrible. The executive at the customer care was thoroughly unprofessional and impatient. They keep telling me the money will be credited in 15 days but I guess bookmyshow doesn't follow a universal calender. I have decided to take this up and sue them for this inconvenience. A big scam!

                                I am Sharad Sharma (cell no [protected]). I booked 3 tickets for 'Gangs of Wasseypur-2' using BookMyShow.com for Spice cinema, Noida, for 4:00PM show for date 15th Aug 2012 using my citibank credit card
                                After selecting seats and entering my credit card details, bookmyshow website displayed some message like 'processing...' and after some time, it displayed, 'oops, an error occurred'.
                                But an amount of Rs 633.72 was debited from my credit card. This transaction was done at around 1:22PM on 15th Aug 2012.
                                I waited for around 20-25 minutes, but i didn't receive any sms or e-mail from book my show for confirmation of tickets but i did receive sms from citibank for deduction of money.

                                Now, After 25 minutes .i.e. at around 1:49PM (15th Aug), i again tried to book some other 3 tickets and i received sms and mail from book my show this time.

                                So, basically money for my 1st transaction should be refunded bookmyshow as it didn't handle the transaction properly and deducted amount without booking the seats.

                                I contacted the customer care on same day and they asked me to send an e-mail to [protected]@bookmyshow.com. So, i formally sent email to them for which i received reply stating 'they will get back to me after investigation' and gave me Incident No:[protected]. but after that i have not received any response whatsoever from there side in last 30 days or so.
                                I have sent them e-mails repeatedly but there is no response/reply. I contacted there on-line customer care executives also but they also just say that we will contact you as soon as possible but then there is no reply/respose.

                                SO BOOKMYSHOW has not only taken my money of amount Rs 633.72/- but they have caused me mental tensions as well. Just imagine how much problems they have caused me for ignoring me and for not replying.
                                I request a refund of Rs 633.72/- from bookmyshow and would also request Consumer court to impose some heavy fine on bookmyshow for playing not only with people's money but also for not giving due attention to there customer even when they took all money in advance.
                                I don't want any extra money, i just want my Rs 633.72/- but i want bookmyshow should be taught a lesson so that they dont do same thing with other citizens of India and so that they can always remember that someone is there who is watching there wrong ways of working.

                                    I bought IPL tickets for match in Delhi more than 2 weeks prior to the match with home delivery option. I was expecting the tickets would reach on time. After a week’s time, when I noticed that I have not received the tickets, I started following up with customer care. It was shocking to note that there was no response at all from them. After 3 reminders (just 3days before the match), they mentioned that tickets have been dispatched and also provided tracking number.
                                    Now the fraud began, according to courier company, the person visited my place thrice but house was locked. I was shocked to note that all the 3 timings specified by the courier company, I was personally available at home. Also in general someone is always available at home. And according to bookmyshow as no one was available, tickets have been returned.

                                    I have asked following questions from bookmyshow which they fail to answer
                                    1. Why didn’t courier company called me up, even if this was the case. They had my complete details
                                    2. Why were the tickets dispatched only 2 days before the match.
                                    3. Obviously, I did mention that it’s not possible that house was locked as I was available.


                                    Even after writing more than a dozen email & calling customer care multiple times, even talking to live help, I am neither able to get the tickets nor a refund.

                                      I had booked tickets for an IPL match in Pune through BookMyShow online as there were no other Retail outlets available for the PWI tikcets. I had booked 8 tickets in one shot around 20 days before the match.

                                      They had charged the delivery charges as well as convenience charges. However in the name of convenience I had to collect the tickets just a day before the match from their Deccan Gymkhana office in person. Hence no delivery, and no support infact arrogance that "Its your ticket, either you collect it or leave it".

                                      So everyone beware of booking many tickets at the same time. They have done this to many. They profit on the convenience charges and finally its the biggest inconvenience.

                                      I would like to bring to your notice a very insulting incident yesterday i.e May30th 2009.

                                      I booked my 4 tickets for Jackie Chan's Movie Police Story-V in Hindi, on bookmyshow, for BIG Cinemas RAP-Kaushambi, Pacific Mall, Plot No 1, Dr Burman Road, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad-201010. And I was given the tickets for Hai Kya Dum (which I though probably is the Hindi name of the same movie) but to my utter disbelief the movie was some third class dubbed Thai action movie. I had taken my guests in front of whom I was humiliated for no reason. I also checked with the staff at big cinema and they informed that there was no such movie as police story being run here so far.

                                      The tickets were to be given to some acquaintance and were to be delivered but I have not received the same till date. whereas as per the FAQ on the site says that the Tickets will be delivred within 4 days of the booking.

                                      I spoke to numerous times to their call centre and even sent mail to [protected]@bookmyshow.com (this is the only mail id provided). I have been speaking to Mr Nelson since 22nd March and still my tickets not delivered till date. Now is 28th March and match is tomorrow. How i am going to deliver these tickets to the poeple who are to watch the match. I have spent 24000/- for these 4 tickets. I request you to kindly help me to get the refund + damages for the mental trauma caused by callous attitude of Bookmyshow staff and management.

                                      I have booked 1 IPL Ticket for 29th March Match & 2 IPL Ticket for 4th April Match on 15th March to be held at Delhi for home delivery.

                                        Never book tickets from BOOKMYSHOW this is no.1 Fraud company.
                                        1.They collect money for home dilevary but they not dispatching any tickets.
                                        2.When u call for ticket states they will say u will gate tickets on XYZ DATE.
                                        3.No.1 poor customer care when u inquire about tickets on XYZ DATE they will say there is no service area u can collect from counter.
                                        In this process u will loose ur mobile balance for contacting customer care but problem is not resolve.

                                        This is happened with me i lost more than 200 rupees for contacting customer care,but still i am waiting for tickets.

                                        FRAUDDDDDDDDDD company BOOKMYSHOW......

                                        We regret the inconvenience caused to you and would like to inform you that we had dispatched your tickets from our end and the same were returned back to us stating that the address mentioned while transacting is a non servicable area.

                                        However we did make alternate options for you to collect your tickets. Also, we have initiated the refund the delivery fee and we hope you are in receipt of the same.
