Hi Team, This is regarding 2 tickets which I booked on 21st Dec 2013 for Dhoom 3 at Movietime: Dharam Palace Mall for 6:00 pm show. But at the time of booking i didnt got any confirmation neither on sms nor on email and money was deducted from account and at around 8:30 pm i got sms regarding booked ticket and that was of no use to me. please find the booking details : Booking ID : MTND[protected] Seats : PREMIUM-J10, J7 for DHOOM 3 on sat, 21 Dec 2013 6:00 pm at Movietime : Dharam Palace Mall (AUDI 2) Also I spoke to customer care executives and they raised a incident no(Incident:[protected] for the same. And today it's exactly a month but till now i haven't received my money and every time i call them they say that its in process and they are not even telling me how much time will it take to get resolved. As per our telephonic conversation, the refund for your transaction on 21 Dec 2013 12:33 PM for the show on Dec 21 2013 6:00 PM at Movietime: Dharam Palace Mall for the movie Dhoom 3, is being processed from our end. The entire amount of Rs. 344.94 /- amount would reflect in your account within 15 working days.

For future transactions, we recommend you to sign in while booking your tickets. This would save your booking details in your 'Booking History' which is a very useful feature for all our registered users. You can also use the 'Resend Booking Confirmation' option on our website. Wherein all you need to do is enter your email id and contact number entered while transacting and hit send. The confirmation email/sms would be resent to the contact details entered while transacting.

We appreciate your patience while we were reviewing your concern and look forward to providing you a enhanced ticketing experience soon.

    Hi, Bookmyshow, the worst of its kind in providing cusotmerservice. Their agents doesnt know anything about the offers they are offering. They cut the call when we ask them something they doesnt know or when we question them. Bookmyshow is having an offer with icicicoral debit card, knowing that I had exclusively taken coral card from icici n thought to purchase a ticket from bookmyshow. the offer is book 1 ticket get 1 ticket...n the limit is 2 free tickets a month... I have entered my card number and clicked on apply, it has shown the discounted amount and when i clicked on buy i was surprised to see that i was charged for the full amount. immediatley i called up them n told what has happened they were least bothered about me, they said that mail to helpdesk, ...as said i mailed helpdesk there is no reply from them...called them again-they are saying that i have entered wrong card details- how silly it is, how can i enter a wrong card details n make a transaction...n also see that there is a discount on the total amount before i purchase the tickets... I am least bothered about the money i lost, but the way they fooled us i cannot digest it...i'll not leave the matter untill my concern is addressed... All nonsense business tricks, just fooling people...

    I have tried all the ways to contact you people, but I got very late response from you. I am really vexed with you. You think that you have saved some money by cheating me but you will definitely bare at least 100 times of it. I would not leave this matter as it is, I know how to market some product at the same time I know how to rate a particular services company in the market.

    And the response I got from your team is not about my query but about the know-how of applying the offer. I have not asked you how to apply the offer. I know very well how I can avail the offer but the mistake is from your side technically. I have mentioned the complete details in the mail([protected]@bookmyshow.com).
    If at all you really want to resolve my issue, only then, proceed further in this issue. orelse please dont waste my time and yours by simply telling the same old stories about the procedures of availing the offer. Because you people act very well when the issue is posted on the forums, social media etc so as to improve your goodwill.

      I have mailed several times but my issue has not been resolved.
      On 18th of June I tried booking movie tickets through BMS 3 times but
      all the time all i got was an error message though from my bank
      account the amount was deducted 3 times.
      on 25th of the same month i got refund for 2 of my transactions and the 3rd refund is
      still pending from your side. Every time i would put a mail to bookmyshow they would demand fresh scanned copy of my passbook which i have already sent 2 to 3 times.

      NOW THE CUSTOMER CARE HAS STOPPED REPLYING TO ME !!!

      do find the attached passbook scanned copy where 807 + 807 + 868 Rs
      deduction is there and only 807 + 868 is refunded

      As per our telephonic conversation, we hope you are in receipt of your amount for all the three unsuccessful transactions.

      We understand your view on the situation and your concern is very important to us. In case of being charged for an unsuccessful transaction, the amount gets refunded within 10 working days from the date of transaction. In case of not receiving the amount, we request our customers to check their updated bank statement for the reversal and share the screen shot in case of not receiving the amount.

      In order to investigate your transaction with the concerned bank, we required the screen shot of your bank statement.

      Our system reflects three unsuccessful transaction 18 Jun 2013 for which the amount for 2 transactions was charged and was refunded back to your account. The reversal reference codes for these transactions are[protected] &[protected].

      The amount for the third transaction has already been reversed and the reversal reference code is 75425314017280044700014. Kindly quote this to card issuing bank to know the exact status of your transaction.

      This was a rare situation and we truly regret the inconvenience caused to you.

      We appreciate your patience while we were reviewing your concern and look forward to providing you a better ticketing experience soon.

          I had gifted a ticket to my friend from Bookmyticket .com, I had booked it through CD, and they verified my payment through OPT and IPIN and process successfully. Now while collecting the ticket they want my friend to have my CD details, in form of photocopy. They are asking for sharing my CD details. It is breach of Security and Personal and financial Information to ask for any such details. This is been followed and support by the Bookmyticket.com, or else they will not provide any ticket.
          BookMyShow customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

          Incase of gifting tickets to someone booked via bookmyshow the authorization letter, the confirmation e-mail/sms along with the signatured front and reverse side photocopy of the credit/debit card is to be presented at the box office.

          We understand the importance and sensitivity related to the sharing of such personal information and the security of the same would never be compromised from our end. Hence we always upfrontly request our customers to scratch the CVV and the Expiry date of the card in order to avoid any discrepancies. The same had been requested to you by our customer care team.

            Hi, This is pertaining to the below incident that i had raised by sending a mail on your helpdesk email id but i am waiting to hear anything from your representatives. I have called your number close to 50 times but cant get through and when i do get through I am put in a queue which then drops me out the moment i reach in the queue to number 4 or 5 in the queue. Incident:[protected] I was trying to book a ticket for Dhoom 3 in Cinemax Soul Space Arena Bangalore for the 6 P.M Show ( 2 Gold Class Seats) for Tuesday 24/12/2013 wherein the money has been debited from my bank account for the amount 596.18 but i see this error when it was being redirected to bookmyshow website which was instantaneous. I have a rock solid broadband connection at home ( beyond 16Mbps) so nothing was wrong on that front. Transaction Details :- NET Payment, 727037 At Book My Show On 21/12/2013 18:18 No one in bookmyshow is picking up the phone for last few hours so hence reply to this mail at the earliest.               Book My Show application is cheating consumer left and right. I reserved two tickets in for the movie Doom 3 on 20th of December 2013. The amount has been debited from my Canara Bank account. However, no seats were reserved nor ticket confirmation was sent to my email id or given mobile number.

              Please take stringent action on Book My Show for cheating people on day light.

              Please refrain from using "Book My Show" they are No 1 cheaters.Their customer care do not pick up the call nor they revert back the money to the account.
              Hi,

              I have had the same experience as well today for Dhoom-3 tickets and for the last 6 hours have been trying to reach these buggers but no use...been on the phone queue and having moved in the queue from 34 to 4 they hung up the call and are not responding to mails as well. What could of and crap service is this?

                Hello,

                On11-Septemper-2013 I booked 9 tickets for CLT20 League which was held at Ahmadabad. Due to Heavy rainfall match is shifted to Jaipur. And in this case they said they will refund full amount of money within 10-15 days. But see its about 1 month and 20days gone and still i can not get my refund back into my account. I have proof of debited amount from my bank account. Whenever i mailed to them, they said, we already processed your request, . wait for few days. I can't understand all my friends get back their refunds but why shouldn't I. Please help me to sort out this issue. This is complaint against Bookmyshow.com.

                  Sir, I booked my two tickets on 21.9.2013 for Wadali brothers show to be held in Delhi.Bookmy show company has charged Rs.2500/-for the same show.Surprisingly I received a massage that your tickets could not be confirmed and amount charged shall be refunded within 14-21 days.I connected telephonically to the customer care no [protected].where ms Hetal,saniya and navidita took 1 hrs & 20 minutes without any responsible answer. They demanded Rs 2500 more instead of booking the ticket.In the evening I again talk to mr khan & John .they also demanded another 2500/-.This is commercial dishonesty that;
                  A, I have been deprived of the show by charging the amount but deliberately failed to providing the tickets.
                  B,They blocked my money for 14-21 days.
                  C,None was able to tell the reasons of depriving me from watching the show even after charging the amount.
                  D, It is deliberate attempt to collect money in lakhs for 21 days.It is wrong trade practice.
                  E, All the promises as shown in their web site is fraud,wrong and misleading.
                  Please direct them to provide the ticket and not deprive me to watch the show.Please take appropriate action against the BOOK MY SHOW.Please enquire how much customers are being looted by this dishonest trade practice.

                  I booked 1 ticket for FAST 7 movie for INOX race course circle, vadodara, worth rs. 152. I got my transaction gone unsuccessful...still bms charged money from my HDFC account...not receiving call...what kind of business is this...or fraud I must say.

                    Please provide as much information as possible...I have made a purchase for two tickets on book my show. The money is deducted from my bank account. But the tickets did not get booked. I got sms from bank that money was deducted. But didnt get any sms from book my show, no emails either. So I called them up and said that I am not getting the tickets send to me. They said they cannot do anything about it. I spoke to a junior and he told me that it will take 7-10 days to be refunded, and he advised me to book the tickets again when I actually have no money left in my account to book the tickets again. He is unwilling to help by any means and book it for us. after lot of persistence he then handed the phone over to some senior authority who too seemed disinterested to interact. the point is the book my show knows the transaction took place but they are neither quick with their refund process neither they showed any interest to fix up the problem by booking the tickets with their system. this is completely a case of cheating. Has happened previously with me too. Looks like they are taking the money and holding on to it for some time, which can be used for stock trading and other investments to make profit. i lost my money, my evening was wasted and they expect me to book the tickets again and follow up with them for the amount deducted.

However it takes a maximum of 10 working days from the date of transaction for the amount to get refunded back to the account. The reversal reference code for the transaction is 907692.

                    Your concern is very important to us, however there is no provision to convert a failed transaction into a confirmed booking.

                      I booked Movie tickets through using ICICI credit card in March, but the transaction failed. When I again tried the transaction was succeeded. But the amount was charged in my card 2 times. I called ICICI bank Call center where I came to know this is bookmyshow issue and same needs to be reversed by them. I got below transaction ids from bank 230411 153076 I have called bookmyshow call center several times, but I get response that amount will be credited in my card. But till date no action from bookmyshow.

                        My name is Dhiraj Negi and I booked couple tickets (on 12/08/2013) for Chennai Express movie along with Non veg Hot Dog Combo (this supposed to be delivered at interval). However, I am really very disappointed with the services rendered by Book my show. I have not recevied by combo moreover when I went to counter the staff was least interested in my query. Hopeless helpline no. was either busy or even if connected kept me on waiting for a loooong time but there is no response. After contacting Book my show customer service so many times I haven't received any solution for my issue. I know it is a petty amount however it is a fraud and I am looking forward for an your help/answer.

                            I had booked 4tickets for movie "bhaag milkha bhaag" on 21st july 2013 at around 1.46 PM for 6.45 pm show for the same date for movie at fun republic mall through Central Bank Of India net banking, after completion of transaction I didn't received any ticket confirmation on my mail and phone. When i checked my bank statement, amount of Rs. 908.40 was deducted with REFERENCE NO.[protected] and i didnt get my tickets. Plz solve my problem by refunding my money asap.
                            This amount is including Re.1 of charity . The actual charge for tickets Rs. 907.40. Pls refund.

                              I have recently bought two tickets online for a movie. Initially after
                              buying the tickets i got an error message saying that the transaction
                              has not been completed because the payment was not successful. i tried
                              4 times and at last, i was successful at buying the tickets on the
                              fourth try, But i have been charged 4 times for the two tickets that i
                              bought online(rs 1094.80 in stead of rs 273.70. i would be grateful if

                                I had booked tickets from BookMyShow.com for a movie at DTCityCentre - Gurgaon. But due to certain reasons, I wanted to cancel my ticket. I called BookmyShow helpline number to cancel the tickets, one day before the show. But they refused my request. Even when I requested them to keep the service charges, and may be more but refund the rest of the amount, the customer acre executive completely refused. When I demanded to speak to their senior,. they promised to arrange a cal back which I never recveived.

                                BookMyShow is cheater I paid Rs.5800/- for New Year Event in Tulip Star for 31st Dec 2013, which never happened only these cheaters have not refunded our amount. Even they sent an SMS to me that they will look into the same but its been more then 8 days there is no response for the same. I would not recommend anybody to to trust them, even they are partners in the our lost amount. Let's unite and file a complain against BMS.

                                I will give book my show 0 rating for today. I want to cancel my tickets & called customer care they directly refuse my request to cancel tickets it's not good. There should be option for cancellation & they can deduce some amount as service charge. As it's 1 of the top website for booking tickets there should be cancel option provided. I will never book again from bookmyshow. if my money is not refunded. They are cheaters my money got wasted. i have given them mail regarding. Let's see what happened next.

                                Yes. Its a waste website which got popularity due to ease of booking. Let us find any other good website and promote it. I am an experienced web developer working in good MNC. I can build a good website if any one is interested.
                                I booked tickets for movie in warangal I checked the timings for twice it is 7 :20pm but when I pressed ok, it came re cheking availabity and told select seats again and also changed to 10:25 pm I thought it would be for 7:20show and booked tickets.
                                i really had a pretty bad experience with bookmyshow..i booked the movie tickets, same problem other user faced, due to some reason i want to cancel booking, but customer care who picked the call after 10min delay, refused to cancel, and boldly said we don't have any norms to cancel requested booking...i got shocked..such a good name in market they should stand on to user query...but they said they cant do much in this matter, plz give tickets to ur near or dear ones or sold this ticket to someone..this is really a worst thing customer want to hear...

                                I can bet, someday better site will come which can manage these thing more maturally..and book my show will loose all their customers...

                                This is not just cheating, it is a crore's of scam. Why there is no warning displayed for "No Cancellation" while booking?
                                Why your website is automatically changing the date's and timings as per availability and not being highlighted properly? (Keeping that information some where in the corner with small font size)
                                Just before payment why a snap shot was not getting displayed with Show date, timings and locations with seat numbers. Just like any other website? (Because this will avoid fraud, which you don't want)
                                This is 100% cheating and it will be a potential case under the law.

                                This is bad bookmyshow. You can't refuse like saying that you can't cancel ticket because it is on cinema's behalf. There are soo many sites like redbus or abhi bus those who are doing same as you booking tickets on some other's behalf and also giving a chance to cancel it. It will only increase you reputation. Think of this option either its now a days it is too much easy to get popularity and also being out of the market too.

                                Book My Show is Horrible, i selected the date for Annabelle as 11th and proceeded to payment page, the application took me to a different page and finally i struggled to get back to the default page bt cud only find the payment page.

                                finally post booking the tickets wen the confirmation came, i ws horrified to see it was of 10th October, Friday, can u beleive it, who will, working in a Corporate sector, will spare tym to watch a movie on a Weekday dat tooooooooo at 4PM in the noon.

                                BMS, shud employ gud esigners, developers and testers who are sure wid the requirements of a website and shud replan everythng in their website, i suffered a LOSS of 1000rs in all wid dis website only to book the show for a movie.

                                Sure you can put certain time boundation on to that but saying a NO is NOT the WAY it should be.

                                Bookmyshow is a bad application which no body should use. They say they do not have the right to cancel or modify the tickets but they can book the tickets and they show their best side on the TV commercials. Waste and disgusting application and shouldn't be used by anyone. The worst experience ever.

                                If bookmyshow cant cancel the ticket why not sell those ticket, just change the color of the seat as cancelled, allow some other consumer to book that seat, transfer the amount to the users account.

                                Atleast I think Bookmyshow can do that, put the money as a cashback or credit the user's bank account . It will be just a 2 days work to add the feature from my experience as a software developer

                                I was regular customer and booked 8 tickets. By mistake I booked Friday instead of sat . ( Application confused me as initially I selected sat and when I got error for something, it took back to booking page again where I didn't notice that it was by default selected (today) means Friday )

                                Now they don't have cancellation option . They give reasons that cinemas wont refund money to them . Pathetic reason to shut down customer.When they do business with Cinemas, it is obvious to have cancellation clause with condition to save customers . Why cant they have cancellation options with conditions like within 1 our or before 5 hrs of shows .

                                Why can't you CANCEL the ticket when yatra, makemytrip and countless others can? These (yatra, makemytrip etc) also being aggregates can cancel the tickets although with heavy penalties. What is the difference in BOOKMYSHOW being aggregates for Cinemas and Yatra, MakeMyTrip being aggregates for airlines?

                                I guess they are same but BOOKMYSHOW is too nice to ti cinemas and loves money way too much.

                                Dear Bookmyshow,

                                As you are saying that no option for cancellation fine but when you are giving option to book why don't you give on option to deselect the seats when cancellation is required.
                                Even if that option is not available you can inform the corresponding theater if the cancelled seats got sold you can return back the money else not required. Why don't you try this.when someone can't reach the movie theatre means they can't reach how can you expect them to go and sell tickets at theatre.
                                Just think and help your business.

                                customers are cancelling the booking only due to some problems and in such situation the option for cancellation must be provided otherwise it amounts to unfair trade practice.

                                book my show saves themselves as they send to pvr money and pvr saves themselves as they say as you booked through book my show no refund/cancellation. even jabong doesn't cheat this way they act as wallet and rest we contact them for cancellation . As I booked through Book my show for which they take handling charge just like jabong they are responsible for customer concerns too. however in this case book my show says allow me to let you book tickets on pvr at our place and after that we have no responsibility!

                                Jabong is very responsible and professional to help . learn through them how to handle cancellation and refunds.

                                  Last Saturday around past midnight, so technically it was Sunday(1952013), at night i tried to buy 3 tickets from www.bookmyshow.com for the movie Aurangzeb running at Jyoti talkies for 3 pm show, but it showed failed transaction after i have entered my password for the completion of payment, but right after that it a message appeared saying the payment could not be completed because of problem in server. Naturally i tired three more times, but got the same result, finally i told my friend to buy the tickets but she also faced the same fate. Next morning when i went to the ATM and got a mini-statement it showed that money was deducted for all the four transaction, so effectively i had paid Rs. 1403 i.e. Rs. 351, Rs. 351, Rs. 350 and then again Rs. 351. i went to the bank next day which was Monday, and the Manager there told me that the money would be refunded in 7 days. However today the seventh day ended and i still haven't received the money. On the same day(19/05/2013) i had a failed ATM transaction of Rs.400 but that money got refunded the next day. I am really worried about the Rs. 1403 which hasn't got refunded to my account yet.
                                  Moreover, on 25.05.2013 the same thing happened at www.mobikwik.com but again the money got deducted. Please provide me with directives as to how can i procure my money back. I am really worried about this.

                                  i am a govern employee, i was making the cricket match booking ticket from my atm card.
                                  while form was submitting the internal server error found on date feb 07-2010. and my money has been withdrawn from my a/c two times.when ever i have transaction only once as a rupees 640 and 640 total 1280.
                                  while it has to be dedected from my a/c only 640 only.
                                  so please sir return my 640 rs. as soon as possible.

                                    I have booked 3 tickets from ICICI m shopping on 15the May it deducted my 390 INR instantly but i dint get thee ticket. and I waited for around 10 days still my amount is not back in my account.                                       I have booked tickets through bookmyshow.com on 19th April,2013 but the transcations failed and i got a message for the same. But money was debited from my account for the failed transcations, which I got to know after few hours. when I called the customer care they told that it will be refunded with in max of 15 days. but till now it was refunded (ie., by 13.05.2013).

                                      I had booked online 2 movie tickets through bookmyshow for 14th feb 2010. Amount has been deducted from my account but tickets have not been booked. Now, my amount has also not refunded yet
