they ask me for cash.when i ask for bill.they said we will give you on table.after i finish my drink and again ask for bill they said system is not working.i force them for bill and rate menu.they hav charged Rs1103..but the actual amount by rate card was 600 some thing.they gave me a wrong bill for Rs.1003.i
was in hurry thats why i check the bill in car.they cheated me three times.i have the bill,the time printedon bill is totally changed by that i can proof their cheating.we are 8 people with me.

when i reach back after a drive of 25 km.and ask for right bill and my money back they said sir the right person is not around. we cant help you.
i have attached two bills the one is of 600 ++ is mine time is mention on bill 1700hrs.
another one which is not mine they charge me by cheating is of12:30 time is mention which shows the cheating.

I've just had my mobile stolen yesterday evening, in the most unusual circumstances. My office is in Parel, next to Bata showroom behind ITC Grand. There's a Cafe Coffee Day right next to our office. I went to the Cafe with a freidn in the evening at about 7.15 pm. After a minutes conversation,we got up from our table to place the order at the counter. After placing the order, we decided to sit at another table. At this point, I realize my phone was missing. It all happened in less than 2 minutes.
We alerted the waiters and asked the other customers around, but no help. The phone just disappeared in 2 minutes, between placing the order and getting back to the table. The phone was stolen from either the table (I might have left it when I walked to the counter) or from the counter when placing the order.

The sad thing is that there are CCTV cameras in the cafe...but the staff did not help me with the footage. I called up the sales manager and area manager...but no one was ready to go to Vikhroli where the server is (it was just 7.30)...because they claimed the office would be shut.
But the manager promise that today at 10, he would go and check the footage and send me the same.

I have tried calling him so many times since morning but he has switched off his cell phone and not responding. He has completely disappeared. the theft is the handiwork the staff there and that's why they are not cooperative. Even the manager seems to be in the know. I came to know of the theft in less than 2 minutes...and the staff was very evasive.

How I lost phone: stolen at CCD Parel, next to Bata

Today I went to Cafe Coffee Day in Sector 35C, next to Himani Hotel.
when I went to the counter to place the order, I told the attendant that i have a discount coupon and i want to have devil's own.
He rudely replied that we are not accepting any discount coupon because our server is down, and we will give you a hand written bill.
i said its ok..
then I changed the order to two Iced Eskimo.
he arrogantly replied i told you we are not accepting coupons. I said I know and even I am not saying you anything for that.
he said fine. Your bill is Rs. 173.
and further he asked me that whether i want to have it with cream or ice cream..i said with ice cream.
he said OK give me 270 something.
first he said 173 then suddenly the amount went up to 270 something. I simply said I don't want anything just give me what i ordered.

I mean he should have asked me earlier before talking Rs. 173.
and the behavior of that attendant was too bad. He was too arrogant .
and moreover the thing that i ordered for (Iced Eskimo) was not that good which i had it earlier.
I was seriously was feeling like I'm not sitting in CCD.

please go and teach him how to deal with the customers, how to talk to them,

No of customers: just 2 o[censored]s who had ordered. Adjacent table had 2 foreigners who had ordered a long time ago and were just spending time.
No of staff at CCD: approximately 8. Maybe more but not less.
Supervisor: Mr Anand.

I disliked CCD till that day and now I abhor it.
My mum n I went to CCD and I ordered 2 combos- Tex mex veg sandwich with cappuccino and a Chicken 65 sandwich with cappuccino. My mother is a strict vegetarian and I consulted her openly in front of your staff before ordering the veg sandwich for her.
I left to use the rest room at Mango Suites next door.
In the meantime, Ms Asha got the order to the table. She placed one plate in front of her and the other opposite her. My mother asked her very clearly if the sandwich in front of her was vegetarian. To this she said that that was Tex mex veg s'wich and the other was chicken 65. My mother rechecked with her asking,'is this vegetarian?' She replied - yes it is tex mex vegetarian. After doubly re confirming she started eating her sandwich. She instantly found it very very spicy and so opened a packet of ketchup to drown the spice.
I joined her after she had started on her s'wich. She complained her sandwich was very very spicy and not nice at all. She was very unhappy with her food and found it very different from what she had eaten. She had just had few bites and put it down saying she just didn't like it as it didn't taste anything like what she had had. way too spicy and completely horrible.
There was non stop chatting amongst your staff . They were talking so so loudly over the already loud music that we finally had to ask them to shut up. I ordered a brownie for my mom as her mouth was burning. The loud chatting added to the irritation. I took a bite of my mum's s'wich and it was then that I realised she had been having the chicken sandwich.
I hauled up the staff immediately- Asha started to weep and apologise. So did Mr Anand and another Mr Anand.
All other heads were lined up- city Manager, area mgr, region mgr and territory mgr.
kindly let me know what action has been taken so far.

I would like to bring to your notice the following few points for your kind consideration and favourable action.

1.I, Rakesh Chauhan visited Cafe Coffee Day outlet at Royal Ansal Plaza Mall, Jodhpur,Rajasthan on 27th Feb 2013.



2.I ordered for cold coffee (3-4) options but its not available,instead its mentioned on the menu card.



3.I immediately informed the attendant at the counter Mr Sajan who were of no help and a great attitude and miss behave with me,I asked Mr Sajan for the complaint book,but they refused to give. On confronting, he started arguing. When I asked for the outlet manager, he blindly stated that he is not available in the store and said do whatever I wish to do.



4.CCD has been ranked at the top for its customer satisfaction quotient but such instances wont help you much in retaining that position for very long I presume. Such misconduct and rubbish behaviour I have never come across in my whole life.



5.Hope you will take positive action against your erring staff and make them maintain the dignity of the customer as well as their own. I too am from the hospitality industry and work as a Senior Manager. So am well aware of the importance of Customer Service.

My office is located very near to the maddox square crossing and i visit a nearby cafe coffee day often for lunch. I received unsatisfactory service on a number of occasions even if the place was almost empty. First time, i had ordered irish coffee n had just started sipping it that the guy at the service counter politely asked me to empty the cup asap. I was startled to hear this n i asked him the reason. he said he needed the cup. There was nobody there except me. And it shouldnt concern me even if there were others. Another day, i ordered for a wrap. I started eating it. It did nt taste good which i realised later as i was busy reading a book. I realised they had served it to me without heating it. When i told them about this, they heated it without any signs of apology. Also, the guy at the counter didn't return the change to me twice on the pretext that they do not have change. Such kind of service is not expected from a brand like CCD. I write this complaint for the concerned authority to look into these matters which might be small but hold great importance in the bigger picture.

MR ASISH JOSHI (CAFEEY MANAGER ) discount in normal customer bill,food and akshay patra.This complaint HAVE BEEN LAUNCHED TO AREA MANAGER MR CHANDAN ,CITY MANAGER MR VIKASH SISODIA AND REGIONAL MANAGER MR.SARAN ALSO.BUT NOT ANY ACTION TAKEN AGAINST IT TILL NOW .SO PLEASE TAKE HARD AND STRICT STEPS AGAINST IT .IT IS MY EARNEST REQUEST TO PLEASE TAKE ACTION REGARDING THIS.BILL AT THAT TIME ALSO ENCLOSED .

We have taken a Franchise of Cafe Coffee Day by paying Rs. 3,20,000/- by an agreement ending on June,2012 for British Council,Kolkata and since then the company is not responding properly. I have dropped repeated number of mails to which they haven't replied, beside this whenever I visit their Kolkata Office their respond by saying that the matter is under control of Bangalore office.

I didn't expected such a response from Cafe Coffee day team assuming that they are one of the biggest brands in coffee in India.

We expected a lot from this company, and now I am completely lost.

We see that Several Cafe Coffee Day Outlets Allowing Cigarette Smoking Inside Cafe Coffee Day. One Such outlet is Hebbal - Kempapura Outlet which is Allowing Cigarette Smoking Inside Cafe Coffee Day Premises for All of its Youngsters Smokers and Several Smokers. Instead of Putting a No Smoking Board, they are Simply Violating the Rules by Simply Allowing Cigarette Smoking for All of their Young Customers. Request the Honorable BBMP to Please look into this Violation. Several Other Such Outlets are also allowing Cigarette Smoking for all of its Customers.

We have taken a Franchise of Cafe Coffee day paying 3,20,000/- Three Lakhs Twenty Thousand. Agreement ended in May 2012. I'm trying to get back my refund from CCD from last 5 months. But CCD staff is totally uncooperative about this matter as firstly they lied to me about the facts and also not provided the necessary documents in the proper manner. After that by facing all these problems and after furnishing all the required documents, it’s about more than 3 months but till today, neither I got my refund nor I have given a specific time to collect my cheque. Whenever I mailed to CCD about this matter, they only give me the excuse of audit report. So this is my humble request to CCD senior officer, please interfere in this matter on urgent basis and provide my refund.

Hi......i asked for a strong cappuccino but it was denied by the manager on shift on 16/10/2012 @ 4.40 pm.The behaviour towards us was very rude n I couldn't able know ths name bcz name badge was missing in his uniform.oly thing I noticed is the shabby uniform.
As u asked "a lot can happen over a cup of coffee "but many thing was happen which I didn't except.
Even the masala chai which was served in french press was not cleaned.
We r realy upset bcz of ths n plz get back to us with good solution.

This Complaint is Regarding Cafe Coffee Day Allowing Cigarette Smoking for Many of its Young Customers Several College Going Students at Cafe Coffee Day Premises. These Cafe Coffee Day Outlets have Specially Designed a Space for Cigarette Smoking at its Premises for Many of its Young Customers who Openly Smoke Cigarettes Inside the Cafe Coffee Day Outlets. One Example is the Cafe Coffee Day Premises at Hebbal - Kempapura Allowing Cigarette Smoking for Several Youngsters who Keep Smoking Cigarettes Inside the Cafe Coffee Day Premises. Many Such Cafe Coffee Day Outlets are Violating the No Smoking Rules Openly Just for the Satisfaction of Several Young Customers. There is not Even a No Smoking Board inside the Premises.

Despite several reminders and also an email (with apologies) from [protected]@cafecoffeeday.com, I don't know what kind of false statements are being made. If the organization itself can't investigate the problem in 2 weeks within themselves, how can we? It's totally a shame & a big disappointment in the name of Cafe Coffee Day.

I would suggest all the respected customers to restrain from going to CCD outlets. If this would have been a case abroad, by now either Cafe Coffee Day would be in court or paid thousands of dollar fine, punitive damages.

On 14.07.2012(Saturday), I alongwith my wife visited Cafe coffeeday outlet at DT Mall, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi. We ordered combos Iced Coffee+ Smoked Chicken Sandwitch & Iced Coffee+ Samosa. After the first bite I realised the Chicken Sandwitch was Stale & Rotten. I immediately informed the officials/attendant at the counter who were of no help.I have to leave the sandwitch uncosumed and asked the officials for the complaint book. They handed me a Card to fill. I filled the Card they handed me to lodge my complaint.Then I wrote Cafe Coffee Day again,assuming that,those official might not have forwarded it to the Management as it contained adverse Remarks/Complaint. They only informed me that this was their feedback and they would write me again after contacting the concerned Outlet at Shalimar Bagh, Delhi. But I have yet to receive their reply so far inspite of my writing them again.It only proves that they are not bothered about the client's complaint

Hi,I purchased 3 pastries from a Cafe Coffee Day Outlet In Bhubhaneshwar on 13th July 2012 at 9.15 pm.When i had a taste of it,it seemed to be stale and on top of it it was my Dad's Birthday.I thought of going back to the outlet to return but it was too late.So kindly help me out in this aspect so that in future these Food outlets don’t cause concerns in an individual health.Do call me for any clarifications.Number-[protected]

I had the most insulting incident as a customer in Cafe Coffee Day, Kamla Nagar today. An employee, Sandeep Kumar behaved in such an unruly fashion that he abused me and threatened to fight me. Being of a good family, I did not once say anything offensive until he abused me. The branch manager, Pruthvi Kumar seemed uninterested as he was trying to calm down his employee and not punish him for his misdeed.
I am really disappointed with Cafe Coffee Day and the kind of staff personnel that has been hired by them. This clearly shows that not much is taken care of while hiring some one.
I would like this to be taken seriously and the respective officer to do what he can to make this right.
Cafe Coffee Day is a place people go to chill with their friends, not to deal with goons.

Helloo, This is Harrison frm Trivandrum, I had a very very worst experience with Cafe Coffee Day
outlet at the Bharat Petroleum petrol pump near Mangalapuram, Trivandrum.
2012 July 1St, i was there with my wife & daughter to celebrate my 5 year old sons B'Day.
We all are in a good mood to celebrate that. My daughter's favorite place is CCD.
At a sudden a mad dog start barking madly inside CCD. Both my kids got afraid.
After some time i realise that it was not a dog & its the Area Manager there.
Kids asking me what happent & why that uncle dog barking like this, how & what i will explain to kids.
He is really barking like a dog, to the staffs there. At that time many customers
around there, really this is not the way to behave to the staffs under him.
That dog really scared my kids and spoiled there mood.
If i get him out side CCD, really i will teach that **** how to behave to the staffs.

i visit almost everyday with my friends,but today i.e.16.6.2012,i was very dissapointed with the service and behaviour of the waiters,firstly they were teasing us by calling names,then they badly harassed us for not having chiller.the names of one of d waiters was PRASENJIT(infact the other stewards were misbehaving more) ,CCD branch - IIT Kharagpur.
I am a resident of IIT Kgp from 1991,if any steps are not taken against this incident i will have to complain to the authorities of the campus.

I have seen some of the Cafe Coffee Day Allowing Smoking of Cigarettes just Outside the Counter. How can Smoking be allowed Just Outside. Cafe Coffee day doesn't Sell Cigarettes but How can they Allow People to Coolly Smoke Cigarettes just outside their Counter. They Should Put Up a No Smoking Board & not Allow Smoking Cigarettes. I Kindly Request the BBMP to Instruct these Outlets to Put Up a No Smoking Board & Stop Allowing Cigarette Smoking Outside the Counters.

My sister and i went to CCD at RDC Rajnagar, Ghaziabad branch on 12th may 2012, Saturday. when i was placing the order at the counter, i noticed a big spider web just above my head. i told the guy about it who was taking my order at the counter. While placing the order i gave him my debit card for the payment and i was advised to wait for the order to be delivered at my table. After a while a guy came with the order that we placed. He kept the coffee cups and the sandwich we ordered at the table and went back. We both had our coffee however since we were discussing something important we continued sitting there for another 10 mins... By then almost everyone at the coffee shop left so the staff was not busy... My sister got up as she thought of leaving too however i was still thinking why we were not provided a bill for the order but only a customer copy of my debit card transaction. Upon asking the guy (ADITYA) who took our order in his system started looking at his branch supervisor. Supervisor on shift (VIJAY TIWARI) suddenly asked me to wait while they could have generated a bill for me however he mentioned ma'am your bill is ready which was a lie as i could see aditya generating a bill for me at the same time. i waited and then he gave me the bill with 15 Rupees change. When i asked him why was he giving 15 rupees cash ( as i paid with a debit card) he mentioned Ma'am because we accidentally charged you extra on the debit card .. I would like to mention that the total bill including taxes was Rs 219/- and we were charged Rs 235/- on our debit card. We would have not known it until i would have asked for a bill. They were so casual about the entire thing and did not even apologize for the inconvenience we had to face for unnecessarily waiting for something we are suppose to get while placing t he order when i paid upfront. I would like CCD to compensate for such a bad experience i had at their coffee shop. Did not expect such treatment at such a reputed place , as i am a coffee lover and i visit a lot of your branches and this ghaziabad branch experience was really bad.
Would be expecting a reply on this or else i will lodge a complain with consumer court.
