aircel is cheating the customer in the name of pocket internet. its not a pocket internet it is pocket-mar internet by aircel. internet ke naam par bewkuf banaya...aur...bolo...don't impress with ad.by m.s.dhoni...aur bolo...pocket-internet ke naam par chuna lagaya aur bolo...don't waste...Rs.98/- in the name of pocket internet...beware...this type of...service...

I have been raising issue from the beginning on the connectivity. Initially i have been complaining later i have stopped complaining since it seemed to be no use... later they have attended the problem by sending wiring men to rectify. They could fix the problem & once they left we realised that mobile phone worth Rs.2500/- missing ( kept for charging the battery -was in off mode ), which was kept next the modem box.When we have asked to get the identity of the people who have come in, we are denied of information. Later i have called the call center informing the same after my return from office on the same day. as usual there is no response. no one is interested or realizing, how serious the problem could turn out to be?, if it were to be a organised one in the name of hathway internet.
Interestingly there cannot be any escalations than can be made ...in the call.
Payment to be made- Site does not allow to make payment. I have dropped the cheque - the team says they have not recd & therefore they cannot activate account & harass calling me repeatedly, for which they did not give a notice of disconnecting.
Therefore i have decided that i should not continue with Hathway- atleast not with people who do not have decency to attend & forget... integrity.
I will not be surprised, even for this complaint, there would any response...& i am sure there are lot many people like me...

i m using d aircel gprs of rs.98...i m not happy with this connection...when i connect to laptop then it connected very fastly & working very fastly but after sometimes it disconnected...again i connected, again it disconnected...& d speed of this service is also very poor..it works on only 1.1mbps to 0.5mbps...i have only able to browse 4-5 page in 2 hrs...& d speed of downloadig is very-very poor & d network coverage of this service is also very poor...it gives me many types of mental tension...either u help me or i quit this service...u deceived me & looted my money on d name o[censored]nlimited surfing or downloading...
I purchased aircel sim on 21/07/09 and get recharge of 14 for pocket internet.on 26/07/09 but still i didnt recd GPRS setting, even after following all the process which they have given on the recharge voucher and also whenever we tried to contact to customer care it's always voice is not clear to lesen . really now i m disappointed, y i have bought the aircel connection.
I am browsing internet on my laptop using Aircel gprs with Nokia 6131 and I have no complaints with the connection except that I lost connection many time in between. I really struggled a lot to make connection successful. I made the connection in following way:
1. SMS "ALL" to 121 and get and activate aircel gprs setting
2. Goto Coonectivity>>Packet Data>>Packet Data Setting>>Edit Active Access Point >>Active Access Point (Access Point 1) aircelgprs.pr (pr stands for prepaid)
3.Goto Setting>>configuration>>Personal configuration settings>>Add New (Web):
Acount Name: Aircel Online
HomePage:Http:google.com
Username: Blank
Password: Blank
Use preferred access point: No (to activate the acess point settings)
Acess Point Settings:
Proxy: Enabled
Proxy Address: 192.168.035.201
Proxy port: 8081
Data Bearer: Packet data
Now connect your mobile with laptop (make sure you have installed the correct driver)
Goto control panel>>Phone & Modems>>Select country >> Enter STD Code (011)
Modems>>Now Select your phone (currently being treated as modem)>>Properties>>Advanced>>Extra initialising commands, type following command
AT+CGDCONT=1, "IP", "aircelgprs"
Now make a dialup connection using your phone modem with following dialing details:
Username: Blank
Password: Blank
Dial Number: *99***1#
Now it should connected with the internet.

I have recharge pocket internet card of 98 and am able to access net on my mobile Sony Ericsson w880i. But when i connect to pc through bluetooth the connection is created to the remote computer but am not able to open any website or anything on the net.please tell me what to do.

Well I am facing a problem in My Aircel GPRS that it disconnects a lot in between ...
Speed is not that bad but disconnection is quiet irritating..
Is there any solution for this problem..?
I use GPRS in my Sony Ericsson C510 phone and as well as on my desktop but in both the cases the connection disconnects a lot..
Please help me out of this problem..

I am getting speed of 60 kbps daytime and 112 kbps night.These are actual speeds.My advice is to use dap premium and tcp optimizer along with internet cyclone and opera 10.
Your complaint sounds genuine, why don’t you write in your request to the nodal officer in your area and get the matter escalated, you can get the their details on the Aircel website slotted circle wise.. ☺
