I travelled in jet airways flight from Chennai to Kuwait on 13/07/2012 and my flight time was at 1325 jet airways (9W488) but before one week of travel I was informed that my flight has been postponed to 1345, and later one day before travel date I was informed that my flight has been preponed to 1135 in jetkonnect (9W2144) and it was very disgusting that the flight has been preponed by 2hrs and again the flight (9W2144) was delayed by around 40 minutes from Chennai.

Since my booking was in jet airways and then it was changed to jetkonnect I was informed that I will be given a meal voucher at the check in counter and when it was produced to flight attendants they told me that since it was a jetkonnect flight they don't have enough meal to provide.

So I want jet airways to compensate me since I have paid a fare for jet airways (9W488) and I was changed to jetkonnect (9W2144).

about a week back I sent a mail to guest relations jet airways regarding this subject and till now i haven't got a reply from them.So please can anyone advice me of how to take this matter further.

On 1st jan (9W504) Mangalore to Sharjah at 9am was cancelled and no prior information was given. Later the authorities gave night flight (9W532) Mangalore to Dubai at 11.30pm. We were not provided with refund of taxi fare nor accomadation for the 14hr time interval, we travelled back home at our own expenses.
At night 8pm when i came back to airport i was shocked to hear that the flight has again been cancelled and again no information of cancellation . But i was promised next day flight of 7.30am, but again no travel expenses or overnight stay expenses was been provided which I was eligible.
But 9w532 was delayed for 1hr 20min .
Who is responisible for the inconvinence and the burden of taxi fare 6400 irs, and fatique. I didnt expect such behaviour from jet airways, after providing with telephone and email no attempts being made to give prior information.
Who will pay my expenses caused by jet airways staff.
We carry 1 kg extra we are made to pay now what for this.

    My FPP no is[protected].My seat no was 36D.
    Recently i had travelled from abu dhabi to mumbai on 8th july via 9W584. I had a worst experience interms of saefty of passenger. Few days before i had met with an accident so had got fracture on my legs. I had requested for wheel chair assitant while booking my tickets. I had got best service at Abu dhabi airport and i apprciate it.

    We had a worst landing as the auto brakes were mal function and he had to apply manual brakes.As i was the last person to depart the aircraft coz i had to walk with the help of crunches all the way from 36D to front doors of aircraft. As i approched the front door the ground staff came with the wheel chair to get me down.I asked them how are they going to get me down. They said they will lift the wheel chair and walk the stair all the way down. I asked them " Why dont you get an ambu lift?". The person in charge for the operation UMESH DUA refused and said the ambu lift is not available with jetairways. I know that is very untrue. I told him" I am not getting down the way he said, Get an ambu lift". I know UMESH dua was a lazy man to get an ambu lift and all.Even the in flight crew and pilots requested him to get the ambu lift but he was firm and refused.As the flight was 75min lates and i had an ambulance waiting for me outside to get me to hospital and had no choice over the rude guy. i had to agree and allow him to perfrom the unsafe act. I was feeling so helpless at that time as i had no one with me.The guys getting me down one of them was UMESH dua was wearing flif flops and it was raining out there and the entire stairs were wet. It was so unsafe and my life was in the hands of few man that i dont trust.

    I have few question for which i need some answers.

    1 How many ambu lift do jet airways have?
    2 When i had requested for wheelchair assitant while booking my flight, why was ambu lift not ready when we landed???
    3 When a person request for wheel chair assistant, i guess ambu lift assiatant comes with it?
    4 Why was the ground staff so unsafe and so rude with the passenger, according to them getting is person down the stairs with the wheel chair is their everyday job, is this the safety policy of jetairways?
    5 Who would be help responsible if an incident would occur while getting the patient down?
    6 Sent me a procedure of jetairways safety policy "How to get the passenger down the stairwell when he is on wheel chair.

    After i got down i directly went to ground staff manager(Elizibeth) and told her the enire incident. she was also shocked after hearing that and she said she will ask UMESH DUA about the same. According to her Ambu Lift was availabe and should have come.I had asked few other jet staff they also had same opinion. The potters who were with me said" Umesh is doing this everytime" and they also agreed about the ambu lift.
    If this is the general practise of jetairways then please let me know because i have to inform my compaies safety manager about it, so that they can stop issuing us jetairways airtickets here after.

    I am very very disappointed.

      this is Praveen Kumar Rai i have booked my flight S23461 date[protected] from KOLKATA(CCU) TO VARANASI(VNS) and PNR No is --GSODJZ-- and my fund deduct from my ICICI Account --8976 Rs. but i have not get any confirmation from your site and not any SMS. I CALLED[protected] AND a person told me your flight not booked but payment has been deducted.

      To Whom So ever it may now concern to

      For past 47 days i have been requesting for the refund of a sum of rupees 8976/- [eight thousand nine hundred seventy six] which was been paid to your firm for the air ticket booking which was unfortunately cancelled but as the amount was transferred to your business account and for last 10 days all i have been getting is an extension of dates for the settlement of my dues and no concrete step of action being initiated from your end apart for a new individual making a demand for some or the other new document to be produced by me for verifying that i have actually made the payment to your.
      As of now i would request to your to kindly get in touch with your accounts department and verify it at your end that any such payment form the my bank account has been credited to your account or not and a refund is pending to be returned or i would be left with no other option of to bring such kind of service and monetary irregularity to legal parlance to which both o[censored]s would avoid going to.

        On 21st of June I was travelling from STL, USA to Lucknow, India. My Flight from STL to New York (LGA) and then to Toronto (YYZ) was American Airlines. From Toronto to Abu Dhabi and then to Delhi was Etihad Airline but because of the delay in flight from New York to Toronto I missed the Etihad Flight at Toronto. I called American Airlines and they gave me the Jet Airways flight (9W 0229) from Toronto to Delhi via Brussels of the next day (22/06). I checked with the Jet Airways ticketing agent about the bag but as per her I would get the bag at Delhi and do not need to re-checkin. When I reached Delhi I did not receive the bag, tried to file the complaint but they only raised a courtesy report as the baggage tag did not have the Jet airways mention (it has Etihad on it). But they assured me that my bag will come the next day with the same flight and I will get it at LKO from where I will need to collect it. They gave me 2 numbers to call to check the status[protected]/[protected]. I called them the next day to check the status and they said the bag did not arrive again and should arrive the next day as they do see an inbound from Toronto Airport for that bag. And then I kept calling them and all they had to say was that they are still looking for the bag. They sent an email to Toronto office and kept waiting for the reply for few days and then said that they can not locate the bag. When I asked about the compensation they said since the baggage tag doesn't have Jet Airways name on it they can not provide any compensation and I need to check with American Airline (the original ticket provider). But as per American Airline as per the airline agreement it is the responsibility of last carrier to track the bag and provide the needed compensation no matter if their name is there on the tag or not. But Jet is neither able to find the bag nor paying any compensation.

        I am a frequent flyer, fly frequently domestically and internationally. Previously i was a frequently flyer for Jet Airways, and later when i was travelling abroad, most of middle east, i used to ravel in Emirates. But since when jet started their service in middle east, i started going, and this was my 2nd travel in jet in last 1 month. But this time i travellind from kolkata to mumbai and then mumbai to abu dhabi. i was told my luggage will get transferred directly from mumbai to the abu dhabi jet flight. i don't have to worry. then also i enquired in mumbai to the jet airways staffs, that will the bag get transferred directly, just enquire, but i was told, don't worry it will be. after reaching abu dhabi, i found my luggage didn't reached it's destination. i complained against in the airport authority. they asssured me but 2 days past, no information heneforth. even jet authority didn't responded to the complain of abu dhabi authority. when contacted to different staffs responsible for luggage respectively in kolkata and mumbai, 1st they straight away tells the luggage was not there, 2ndly they decline to give any information regarding the whereabouts and 3rdly ignoring the querry.
        if this is the way of behaviour and responsibility fo jet airways staffs, how do you think people will travel with luggage in their airways.
        i want to get in to the root of this and let me know what is the outcome

        i am writing this letter, as i lost my baggage while traveling from chicago to mumbai and my flight no.9W227 boarding on 5th feb and i landed on 6th feb.We received the bag but lock was broken, When i open the bag, gold jewellery and silver jewellery, one digital camera, two sets of watches, colon and imitation jewellery worth 3 lakhs.earlier i have send mail of which confirmation no.is bom9w 21626 .i personally came to airport and talked to Ms.Stiffi D'souza.If you did not respond in 24 hrs I will take furthur action
        Please respond to it as early as possible.as i have to go to ahmedabad on 12th feb.
        this is to lodge a complain to the jet airways about their irresponsibility regarding the baggages of the passengers.i travelled from london heathrow to mumbai on british airways and mumbai to kochi with jet airways on the same day.
        On 15th of Jan 2009 I boarded into 9w407 jet airways and handed the bag over to jet airways .On reaching in kochi airport i didnt get my baggages .I lodged a complain for missing property and was assured by the ground staff that i will get it in the next day as it may still in mumbai airport. they told me the bag will be delivered to me by jet airways in the very next day.
        This was my trip to get married in Kerala.The bag was containing all my clothes, ornaments brought for my weddings, a panasonic camera, charger for my laptop, hair dryer, hair straightner, perfumes and many other expensive things which i brought as gifts to my dearones.
        It was great agony for me not having my bag, and i have to re-arrange everything and buy all the things again .I reached at home on 15th mid night, got married on 21st and I had to do all the shopping which i had already done.
        I kept on telephoning them everyday to find out about my bags.On my wedding day i got a phone call from them and was told that it is considerd as missing luggage and will be getting compensation.I informed them iwill be going back to Ireland on 26th and need to finish this before i go back. They informed me on 24th that i will be getting a demand draft for the compensatoion before 26th .But tilll 10th Feb I haven't recieved any information about the same.My bag and its contents are worth more than three lakh rupees. Considering the mental stress given by thi sbag loss during my wedding day.. I should get compensation wotrh four lakh rupees.
        I travelled through Jet Airways in February from New york to Chennai, As usual with Jet Airways Baggage got delayed and most amazingly I received the baggages on 4th day. And the abbarasing for Jet airways and astonishing to me is that "They opened my baggage and STOLEN all my electronic stuff"
        which costs a lot.

        I have been redirected from one coustomer service executive to another Since FEB 2009.

        I have been calling them every alternative day since then but every time I get another Coustomer Service guy who is trained to rediredt to another.

        Can some one advice me how Can I Sue them in US

        I travelled with Jet Airways flight 9W 2741 on 10 AUG 09 . I clarified from Hyderabad Jet Airways staff,
        they are sure that baggage did not reach to hyderabad .How is this possible to mishandle the baggage is just boarding the direct flight.
        After doing a lot of phone calls & efforts to reach the Jet Airways staff at Bangalore office were of no use, except that the baggage was declared missing and a compensation of Rs(about 3000) 450/Kg approximately was offered to me. This was more than a harassment & psychological trauma for me keeping in mind the losses & inconvenience I had to undergo because of Jet Airways incompetence behavior & lack of co-operation . Though baggage itself costs 4000/ . and item inside bag costs approx Rs 30000 .
        Jet Airways staff are so negligent and careless about the baggage loss that they came for the settlement just after 7 days .Although its mentioned on their site that tracing process for the lost baggage is 14 days .
        This seems to be routine thing from Jet Air ways . Its normal thing for them to just give the compensation of 450/kg rather than putting efforts in tracing the lost baggage and bearing the sense of
        resposiblity from their side .
        Its horrible experience I had undergone and have faced such an incompetence and careless staff .I want simple reason why the baggage is not in trace and whats reason for coming for settlement within 7 days
        . This shows how much confidant Jet Airways staff is on their carelessness and incompetency that they won't be able to trace .
        I want my baggage not your cheap compensation for the loss and clear explanation why Jet Airways stopped tracing bag within 7 days and declared LOST .

        I THE UNDERSIGNED HAVE STARTED MY JOURNEY FROM DOHA TO KOLKATA VIA MUMBAI BY 9W -551 TO MUMBAI ON 02/09/2009 AND ON THE 03/09/2009 I HAVE TO GO TO KOLKATA BY FLIGHT NO.9W 201 SCHEDULED TO LEAVE MUMBAI AT 6.50AM HOURS. THE FLIGHT NO.9W 201 WHICH WAS DELAYED BY 90 MINUTES. BUT I HAD TAKEN BOARDING PASS EVEN FOR MUMBAI-KOLKATA FLIGHT AT MUMBAI AIRPORT. I REACHED KOLKATA AIRPORT AT AROUND 10.15 HOURS. I WENT TO BELT NO.1, WHERE BAGGAGES FROM FLIGHT NO.9W - 201, WERE LOADED. I WAITED FOR A LONG TIME IN SEARCH OF MY LUGGAGE, BUT I COULD NOT FOUND IT. IN THE MEAN TIME THERE WAS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE JET AIRWAYS, REGARDING NOT LOADING OF BAGGAGES OF 11 PASSENGERS DUE TO THEIR INTERNAL PROBLEMS.I WAS TOLD THAT MISSING LUGGAGE WILL BE COMING BY THE NEXT FLIGHT (which was expected to reach KOLKATA at around 11.30 hours)FROM MUMBAI TO KOLKATA.THIS IS MY BAGGAGE NUMBER Bag no. 9w208850 ticket no.[protected] REALLY YOUR SERVICES IS VERY STUPID

        Sir,

        This is to inform you that I arrived India on 7 Nov 2009 at 11.20 hours by flight number 9W114 and reached Bhuj by flight on same day. While departing London, my luggage was loaded with my flight, is not arrived with me at Bombay Sahara international airport.

        I therefore complaint before your good office to deliver me my luggage without any further delay, failing which I shall no alternative but to file appropriate complaint before competent authority.

        More than 10 days passed, my luggage is not arrived at my native destination nor any intimation regarding lost/found property from your end.

        According to flight rules, luggage should reach with passenger and it should be deliver on arrival, but despite my 10 days arrival, I have not received my luggage nor any intimation from you. I therefore, request you to reply after verification whether same is arrived India or dispatch to Bhuj airport?

        Jet Airways — Mobile missing from the baggage

        Dear sir,

        I am Prosenjit Ganguly, on 02/12/09 i had flown from Jorhat to Kolkata flight in Jet airways ( flight no.9w 2477), my mobile was missing from my baggage.Very poor security of luggage.
        This is with reference to my missing baggage, during my travel with Jet Airways
        from Delhi-Bangalore, on flight 9W811 / 18 May 09.
        I had four peices of luggage with me and was travelling with a 2 and half year old, i lost one of my suitcase which carried my original car papers all my expensive wardrobe and my chlids accesories and my husband is an Army officer so we cannot saty grounded at a place finally i have this time to ask for compensation as per my estimate that i have alredy given to the Jet officals this is an ongoing mental trauma for me now enough i will not take 10,800 for goods lost worth 50,000. no ways.
        Want to go the legal way in the court what next should i do it from Blore.

        I travel in 9W 551 from Doha to Mumbai on 21/12/09. As my last flight was with Qatar airways from Paris to Doha, I confirmed with Jet Doha staff that my bag will be transfered from Qatar airways to Jet airways.
        After reaching Mumbai, found my bag lost.
        After confirming with Qatar air staff, Jet staff confirmed to me that my bag is with Qatar airways at Doha and they will deliver same at my residence in 2 days.
        They are calling me everyday and telling me that they found my bag and it will be delivered by evening.But the fact is that I have not received my bag which contains important documents.
        I tried to call them, but their phone is always busy or ringing only.Nobody picks up the phone.

        I hope i receive my bag shortly.

        The bag concerned is a backpack, the mark being TATONKA. The bag has a black case covering it with "Native Planet" written on it in yellow, two red ribbons and an Air France Miles address tag with the following address: 27 Kovindika Utca, 1028 Budapest, Hungary. If the black case was removed, the backpack is yellow and grey.


        I don't know if there is anything that you can do, but if there is, I seriously would be so so so grateful. In my bag I have all my memories, souvenirs, presents, etc from the trip;; not even speaking about all the medicines and the cost of the bag and my things!


        Hope you are well, if we don't speak before, I'm back in budapest on the 4th of January and will be able to speak properly then!

        I am Ashok Kr. Sarkar came from BANGKOK to Kolkata by 9W 65. I gave three baggeges at BKK airport but I received only two Baggages and One VIP briefcase was lost containing valuable goods worth INR 60, 000 ( Camera, Suits of myself and my wife, Wollen garments of my daughter and costly saris and gift items. I came today morning (31.12.09) i.e 10.20Hrs. I lodged complain at Airport but no needful action is being taken for the recovery of my bag. I appeal to the Management to take needful action at the earliest.

        I came back to India from Dubai on 22nd Dec by Jet Airways and firstly my luggage was delayed by 2 days and then once I got that back, all the electronic items were stolen from it... I think its not something exceptional with Jet Airways.. They are really very good at it...

        I also lodged a complaint at the airport but there is been no reply till date from their side..

        Facts :
        1) I had a confirmed ticket to Agartala from Kolkata
        Date : 29th Dec, 2009 Flight : 9W 2478 PNR : NXNYQQ Dep Time :13:40
        2) I went through web check in , got boarding pass printed
        3) Went to Airport at 12:50, check in my luggage ( No : 651521),
        got boarding pass stamped and then went through security checks

        What got Wrong ?
        1) I was in the queue at gate 1 (Kolkata airport), where boarding for two flights
        were going on and suddenly Flight No. 9W 2478 was withdrawn from display
        2) I rushed to the gate and they said that Flight has left....
        I was forced to come out of security check in


        Complaints :
        1) Immediately I contacted Jet Authorities (Mr. Mark) find that
        "THE LADY at the Check In counter DID NOT enter my reporting into the system"
        2) My luggage went to Agartala., Mr. Mark told me that he will try to accommodate me
        in Indian Airlines and I waited till 5:40 pm. It could not be arranged. I was asked to
        come next day to catch the Jet flight again, which could not be arranged again !
        They returned my luggage and forced me to get a REFUND. Rs. 750 was
        deducted for "NOT showing up" !!!

        Overview :
        1) It is a serious mistake, they could board my luggage without entering the information
        into their system ! [I had already informed Airport security about this SERIOUS mistake]
        2) I was harassed and want to file a harassment case against JET. Please help.

        Subject - Complaint letter

        I had Travelled with Jet Airways on the 03 Sep from London To Mumbai Flight 9W119 - My main concern is with the Behaviour of groundstaff for Jet Airways in Heathrow Airport. I believe being one of the best Airways we expect efficient service and guidance for people who are travelling for the first time. I happen to have a word with one of the Jet Staff with regards to the location for security check and they were of no help at all. they don't seem to be polite and rude in their speech which is not expected because we are not travelling free of cost we have paid to get better service. I was quiet disappointed and my flight back to India did not turn out to be peaceful as it was supposed to be. Hope you take this feedback and take effective actions against the same. Many Thanks

        MUMBAI AIRPORT CARELESSNESS — CARELESSNESS of checking baggage tags

        I had arrived on 24 Aug on gulf air to Mumbai and lost one baggage of mine as they were cross tagged and even if it had come should some one take it was not my fault too as i saw there was no cheking done at departure gates for the right tag of baggage going out of the airports as i think there is a chain of plannig or unattention given at the airport departure gate to see each persons baggage tags to make sure he has taken his baggage not others. two the gulf airline is worst follow up staff at head quarters to respond and follow up matters urgently

        ON 04.12.2011 I WAS TRAVELLING THROUGH 9W 2313 FROM BANGALORE TO INDORE .THE SCHEDULE TIME OF DEPARTURE WAS 8.25 AM ,I REPORTED AT THE AIRPORT ON TIME AND AFTER CHECK IN I FOUND THAT THE FLIGHT IS DELAYED SO I DID NOT GO FOR SECURITY CHECK ,MOREOVER THEY KEEP ON EXTENDING THE DELAY AND THE DISPLAY WAS JUST SHOWING AS DELAYED. SUDDENLY AROUND 10.00 AM THE DISPLAY PLASHED AS FINAL CALL AS I WAS HAVING NO BAGGAGE WITH IN TWO MINUTES I REPORTED AT THE GATE BUT I WAS INFORMED THAT THE FLIGHT LEFT AND AS THE GATE NO IS MENTIONED IN THE BOARDING PASS YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE AT THE GATE FOR INDEFINITE TIME AND IT IS NOT OBLIGATORY TO DISPLAY SECURITY/BOARDING OR ANNOUNCE FOR DELAYED FLIGHT.

        I FACED INCONVENIENCE AND MOREOVER THE AIRLINES CHARGED ME Rs 4384/=BEING THE DIFFERENCE AMOUNT OF FARE FOR MY TRAVEL VIA MUMBAI IN THE 9W418/S2 383.

          I trvalled to Srinagar on 4th Jan 2010 on 9W605 and on arrival in srinagar found my baggage to be damaged. I carried a american tourister suitace with four wheels and one of the wheels was missing. I immediately brought this to the notice of Mr. Zahoor - [protected] at the airport who asked me to take it to the hotel and they will collect it from there with the form for repairing it. I got a call from their office that they will only be able to repair it in Delhi and that too with a local wheel. I asked them to take the same and send it for repair to delhi and deliver it to my house in Chandigarh. They did not pick up the luggage and on calling up they told me to settle the same in cash. I asked them how much money they are willing to offer and the reply was Rs. 400.

          I want to know what rights i have against the airlines to get my baggage repaired and sent to my house.
          I travelled by 9W812 from Bangalore to Delhi on 23rd Oct 2011 . When I picked up my baggage from the conveyor , I found that the back of the baggage was going in . It was supposed to have a hard back . I then went to your customer services counter and met a very rude person by name Rohan . He did not bother to even check what the problem was and simply said " Ther is no problem with your strolley . You can still move your handle up and down . These things are normal , the loaders will throw the baggage into the aircraft and to the vehicle . So it may have these damages . We can't do anything about this " I asked him to come out and have a look , which he reluctantly did and after that also maintained the same story . I asked for his name and was about to leave when I saw another person Vishal who was polite and said the same thing that Rohan said . However he did offer me a feedback form to write my complaint . I then filled teh form and gave it to Rohan to put it in the box , he just kept it on the table . I told him to put it in the box which was below the counter . He got very irritated with that . He did put it under the table , not sure it went into the box . I then talked to your contact center and a person by name James told me to write to these email ids . I went home and took the pictures of teh strolley after removing my clothes . Attached is a picture of my baggage and the copy of the letter I wrote .

          Please ensure that it is repaired / replaced . Also please do not have such rude people at the counters . He did behave equally bad with another passenger who had reported a lost baggage .

          I have written 4 times to them and the response received after I copied some senior staff is as below :

          At the very outset we would like to thank you for your valuable time in communicating with us and are disappointed to note the inconvenience caused to you due to damage to the baggage as mentioned by you in the comment form when you have traveled from Bangalore to Delhi on Jet Airways 9W812 on 23rd of Oct 2011.

          At Jet Airways / Jetlite, it is never our intention to inconvenience our passengers. We train our loaders on how to handle passenger baggage with due care. Hence, we note your grevience with great concern and have briefed all staff and loaders to take additional precaution to ensure that we do not cause inconvenience to our valued passengers.
          However, we wish to mention that we would not be able to compensate / entertain any claims for baggage which may show signs of fair wear and tear as a result of normal baggage handling, including but not limited to minor cuts, scratches and dents or damage to items protruding from the baggage such as handles, wheels, labels and straps.
          May we request you to view this incident in isolation and not representative of our services we endeavor to offer our valued passengers.
          Notwithstanding the above, we look forward to your support and continued patronage of Jet Airways.

          Jet Airways — Improper Handling of Baggage

          Hi my name is Vaibhav Biyani.
          Had recently travelled in Jet Airways Flight from Delhi- Bangalore(Jet Lite) on 15 December morning 9.05am flight.
          While taking the baggage from the conveyor I found that the trolley handle was completely broken leaving no pieces behind.
          Have been complaining to them from last couple of days but to no result.
          They answered that we do not give claim for things protuding out as they can be subjected to wear & tear.
          But as per general awareness it is known that trolley handle always has a socket in which it is inserted and does not protude out.
          So how can the company say that we cannot give the claim.

          Had called to number of people and mailed a number of times at jet customer care but to no response.
          They have one line which they copy paste is that things PROTUDING out cannot be claimed.

          At airport they took images of bag which again shows that it was not.And after that they stopped responding. Whom do i contact & explain????
          Now the bag is of no use and what should i do with it.

          I belong to retail industry and we value our customers, but here things are different.
          Now am in a dilemma what to do against them?

            Dear sir/ Mam,

            I am Ravikiran Rantu, i was travelling from Banglore to Delhi by Jet connect flight. My flight was at 07:00 am on 04/07/2012 PNR - OUMFMK

            . I reached airport by 06:00 am. There was very big quee for getting boarding pass. I had waited for 20 mins in quee then I approched staff to issue boarding pass as may flight was at 07:00am. But rejected and asked me to wait in quee. Jet is operating 3- flights(Mumbai, Delhi & Hyderabad) at the same time i.e. 07:00 am.
            Jet staff called Hyderabad passangers first for issuing Boarding pass directly, then they called Mumbai by the time it was 06:35, then they called Delhi passanges, I got my boarding pass at 06:40 Am. Then i rushed to security checkup cleared security checkup at 06:53 am. Still no announcement was made for my name. then i went to gate at 06:55 am for boarding, Jet airways executive said boarding is cloased and i can't board fight & take next flight at 07:55 am with extra charge of Rs2201.00. I went to manager but she turned out to be the Ticket issuing layd who issued my ticket late. They did not agree that it it mistake of Jet airways but it was my fault to come late clearing security check up. Finally i had to apy Rs. 2201 to fly to delhi.

            Kindly let me know is it fare business to harase customer for no mistake of mine.

              This is in regards wid a complaint made by us regarding the food served on ur flt no 9w 0615 on 12 may .We were travelling for our vacations to gangtok when on our journey to kolkatta, this untoward and discouraging event happened.There were 2 live mosquitoes in ur fruit bowl, to which jetairways crew members also were shocked. they took that bowl from us saying that they need to it for investigations wid taj, their onboard caterers. We had given a cmplaint in writing to airport duty manager, kolkatta,Mr atanu tarafdar. He had assured us dat neceesary action will be taken in 4working days and we will be contacted soon.
              We are fully equipped wid all the pics and videos of this incident as also a confirmation of on board crew mr amit amd miss maria who were wid us on the said flight.Mr athanau had assured us dat immediate action will be taken on the same thereby refraining us on giving out these pics to any of the media.
              After coming back from gangtok , we sent a mail to jet airways regarding the same but there was no response from their side. As a reply for the mail, we were said dat we will be contacted by 31 may but inspite of repeated calls we were finally contacted on 20 june wid a petty offer of rs 500 discount voucher asa token of regret which i think is a insult to consumers.                 Dear Sir,

                I am writing this email out of extreme mental stress and financial loss i have faced because of total mis-management and
                irresposibility from the Jet airways management.

                I travelled from Indian to South Africa(Johannesburg) on 18nth June on South african Airines from Mumbai. Because Jet airways agreed to have a tie up with SA airlines, I decided to take a connection flight from bangalore to Mumbai and i was informed prior to my travel that i could do a through check in from bangalore itself. I was happy that i dont need to carry my luggage from Mumbai domestic to International and really appriciated the tie up Jet has got with other airlines for internatinal trips.

                The drama started once i recieved the tickets from my travel agent, On my ticket baggage allowance was 23 Kgs. I immediatly called up the SA airlines to get a reply from them that they allow 30 kgs. This gave me confidence that this can be sorted out while i check in from bangalore hence i decided to pack my bags to carry 30 kg's.

                When i reached Bangalore International Airport i was told by the front office staff that i can only carry 23 Kgs, Anything extra i need to pay. But i told them about the facts and requested them to check with the upper management. Suprisingly i did not get a positive reply and i was still asked to shed the weightoff or pay the additional amount. There was lot of confusion and even i tried to balance my weights but it hardly helped. Time was getting away and i was getting worried. Hence i decided to pay the money because i did not want to loose the stuffs i was carrying. After the payment i was given a recipt which i was asked to hand it over to SA Airlines counter in Mumbai.

                I paid a whooping Rs 7048 which is pretty high for a middle class person. But the sense of having my stuffs safe and least things to worry in Mumbai Airport made the finacial loss light. I reached Mumbai airport and approached SA airlines to hand over the recipt of payment to them , I was literally shocked to hear from them as "We allow 30Kgs , so we cannot take this recipt/payment you can check with jetairways to get back the payement". I immidiatly rushed to Jetaiways couter to check what can be done, But the front office managers out there were very rude and unprofessional and i did not get any resolution. I had very less time to do my immigration and check-in, so i decided to take this matter later after i reach SA.

                Hence i am expecting a solution from jet airways on this and request to pay back my amount ASAP. Following are the details of ticket.

                  Am an citizen of India i was living at mumbai, on 30 june 2012 with jet konnect flight no 9w-2054 from jaipur to mumbai at 2050hours name shoeb habib seat no 28D but in that flight the a/c was not working and that flight was full with passengers like some just born babies, infants, childrens and many of the femails and also some senior citizens but the pilot knows that the a/c is not working he was not cared about the passengers and attempt to try to take-off the flight but after all the passengers complaints to the crew members of the same flight they are get back the flight to hanger and then call to the ground staff for help to check the a/c of the flight and then after 1 hour late the flight was take off from jaipur to mumbai after in flight many passengers asking for headache problems and i had also suffering from low blood pressure broblems becouse of hot in the flight but the behavior of cabin crew staffs was very rude using abusive language with all customer including me, and for this late arrival to mumbai for 1 hour late i got my very important meeting was cancelled and also some deal was also cancelled and now i am facing net lose is over more than 300000/ last time also i get this kind of harrashment from jet airways flight on 2 june 2012 i was comming from aurangabad to mumbai by jet konnect flight no 9w-2512 time of deaprture is 2035 name shoeb habib seat no 22f that flight was also late for more than 1 hour and i had complaint to ground staff of jet airways in mumbai.many customer are dissatisfied with your Employee Behavior and its a loss for ur company regarding 2 customer satisfaction, hope u will take action on this.and give me with good positive reply to your jet privilege guest

                    Dear Sir,

                    I was flying on Jet Airways on 27th June 7:55 PM flight from Hong Kong to Mumbai. This was a special flight with very low fares. I paid HKD 4276 including the taxes. But on the day of the flight, i was late by few minutes and Jet airways closed their counter. I understand that in such sitatuions, an airlines will provide me a new option. They did provide me next day's flight but here was their response.
                    Penalty for missing the flight HKD 1200
                    New flight charges[protected] dollars more than my actual flight)

                    Total difference is 4200.

                    If i miss a flight (one sided flight), I have to pay the amount equal to a return flight cost from HKG to BOM. This seems extremely unfair to me. Even though I haven't used one sided journey, I have to pay the same amount again as both sides journeys. I demand a refund. Jetairways should atleast waive the penalty fees. I am already paying a lot for my new flight.

                        I am writing to you in the capacity of a Jet Airways customer who has been treated by your staff in the most unprofessional and rude manner. I am aware in my professional experience as a Corporate Communications lead of an esteemed organization, that a majority of such customer plight emails are ignored and junked. I still feel compelled by my experience to report this incident ahead of any action that my husband and I would take against Jet.

                        My husband and I have been flying with Jet and other airlines for many years now and it was shocking for us to experience what we did from an esteemed airline such as yours.

                        My husband and I had got our Ladakh trip booked with Jet Airways a month ago from 10th to 15th of June. I must admit, it was a relief to be booked on Jet - by no stretch of my imagination, I had expected it to be a nightmare. The flight on 10th June was due to depart at 5am (Flight number 9W 1607) from the T3 terminal in Delhi. Both o[censored]s reported at the terminal at 4.07am and were in the Jet check in queue immediately. For the next 4-5 mins we waited for our turn to the counter – we had 3 passengers ahead o[censored]s until we reached the counter. When we got to the counter, the executive looked for an appropriate seating for us. The regular drill happened and he told us that we could get 2 aisle seats to which I requested for 2 seats together. I don’t know what transpired next but he made a phone call concluding it to inform us that the check in for the flight was closed. At this point in time, the time was 4.17am – I am able to share exact timings with you since that exactly was the bone of contention here.

                        Being shocked at what the executive said, I asked him to let me speak to the supervisor. I ran to the last counter to then speak to her (lady named Anu Kiran). The supervisor told us that the check in to the said flight was closed 2 mins back and she could do nothing to help us. I showed her my watch and the time (4.16am) to which she said she couldn’t do anything about it. The executive sitting right next to her told me that she had walked across all counters 5 mins back and called for a final check in before closure – now going by the sequence of events and the time, it was impossible for us to have not been around when she called, we had 3 passengers in the queue ahead o[censored]s!! I explained to the Supervisor and told her I could prove the same since I had had a brief exchange with another passenger a while back. Since nothing was being heard till now, I went to the extent of requesting profusely (almost begging) to consider our situation and atleast try once to accommodate us. 2 mins after all didn’t seen all that long to be able to at the least consider such a request. However, all I heard in response to my pleas were a “No” repeatedly with no trace of concern or sympathy.

                        Infact we were then informed by the aforementioned Supervisor to either run and get ourselves booked right away on the next flight at 5.40am OR they would not accommodate us on that one as well. With the fear of being stranded, we ran to the ticketing counter to only be faced by an extremely lazy, disinterested and rude executive. For the next 5-10mins we struggled to understand and hear the executive on what our options were (there were none!) other than just buying a full fare ticket. It was unbelievable at that early hour in the morning how we were treated by the airline staff of Jet. Considering my next 5 days were blocked and paid for in Ladakh, my options were only limited to buying the full fare seats on the next flight immediately. We had exactly 2-3 mins to think and consider this decision – we had been told by your staff that we would be missing this flight as well unless we bought the ticket RIGHT AWAY. At this point in time, the airport clock showed a time of around 4.30am.

                        One would think once a decision like this is taken, the trauma would end but barely in this case. The next 10mins for us were spent running from the ticketing counter to the check in counter to be able to get our names in the next flight or else we would miss that one as well. The zero coordination between the two counters, absolute rude and indifferent behaviour of the executives only made it worse. Finally managing everything somehow, I asked your executive at the check in counter how I could report the incident and share my feedback on the experience – the response was clear “Go to the consumer court!”. That was the end of it.

                        We left Delhi feeling extremely upset on not only the financial damage but also the horrible experience early in the morning at the hands of a so called esteemed airline such as Jet.

                        In our personal and professional experience till date, through our wide travels, we have never ever had such an experience – not even with a low cost airline! In such a consumer driven environment today, I am amazed how companies could even consider taking us for granted. I don’t know whether it is the over confidence or arrogance but causing such trauma and pain to your clients is not acceptable. I assure you that this has caused irreparable damage to your reputation amongst a group of influential and respected group of individuals.

                        As my next steps on this, I intend to take action through the media and the consumer court. It was my duty to inform Jet and its management on our experience and intended further action.

                          I refer to my travel on 7th June 2012 by Jet Air Pnr EJOXKH. The flight 9W120 was quite satisfactory, but the onward flight 9W5305 was very unpleasant.
                          The main grievances are:
                          a) The seats allotted to us 41F and 41 G were very uncomfortable. The arm rest separating these seats were fixed type making our seating all the more uncomfortable.
                          b) These seats were 4 in a row whereas those in row 40 were 5 in a row. The problem was that the entertainment and viewing screens were at an uncomfortable viewing angle, being fitted behind the 5 seats in row 40. This resulted in strained neck at the end of our travel.
                          c) Seats in Rows 41 and 42 seem to be add-on with a view to crowd in as many seats as possible. Proper passenger comforts aspect have not be addressed.

                            2 o[censored]s travelling from chennail to Kathmandu. One o[censored]s lost Passport, airways don't bother to help a bit even for exit... And on top of it when we found the tickets after waiting 8 hours in airport, they dint bother even to reschedule the travel, they made us wait for another 5 hours...there were 8 people in ticketing, but mo one interested to check for ticket availability, and give tickets.... These people r not even aware if we hav to take baggages upon trip reschedule... Totally pissed.... Is all the common persons time and money taken for granted... It's not just jet, every where just common man suffers...., wil u people atleast take any action???
                            I would never ever ever fly Jet airways ever again even if you paid me, as a business traveller who racks up large Km's each year, they were hands down the worst airline i have travelled in over 30 years.

                            Bumped me off a flight from mumbai for being overbooked despite me being there 2 hours early at the check -in desk, (for a domestic indian flight) took me to the security gate at one stage with a boarding pass and told me i might be able to fly in the cockpit (i thought it was a joke but they weren't joking) and after that "surprisingly" fell through they gave me no choice but to fly to another city later that night and then get a car ride for over 5 hours to get to my original destination arriving at 3am instead of 7pm.

                            To top it off, they made me pay for the car ride!!! This all after refusing to pay for a hotel for me in Mumbai to board a flight the next day.

                            Do yourself a favour and never ever fly them. Their customer service response to my complaint later was even worse. Zero care factor and pathetic.

                              I am shocked to see this type of service level of Jet Airways !!! My luggage has been misplaced by Jet Airways & instead of helping me recover my luggage, they are shifting responsibilities between the Jet Airways Muscat, Oman office & the Jet Airways, Mumbai India office !!!
                              Here is the detailed story of my bad experience with the pathetic & irresponsible service of Jet Airways :

                              1). We had traveled from Baroda to Mumbai on 17th may Jet Airways flight#9W344 & from Mumbai we were to make an international flight to Muscat, Oman Jet Airways flight#9W540, this was a connecting flight which got
                              mis-conneted as flight#9W344 arrived Mumbai late than scheduled and flight#9W540 departed earlier than scheduled.
                              We were handed our baggages at Mumbai international airport after constant follow up of three hours, where we found that instead of 7 luggages, there were 6 luggages & 1 was missing !!! We mentioned about the missing bag to the supervisors on duty - Madam Nikhat and Mr. Leroy, & they told me that my luggage will reach Muscat, they stated that "your luggage is not at mumbai airport so it must have reached muscat, and when you land there and your luggage is not found send us an email stating your luggage is missing" inspite of our questioning that how my luggage will reach Muscat without me checking in ??? I had confirmed with the supervisor that I can send the email right away that the baggage is gone missing, but they wrongly guided to first reach Muscat then send an email.

                              2).As I stay in Muscat I had requested my relative Ms.Aarti who is in Mumbai to make inquiries & collect my luggage, if found from the Jet Airways Mumbai office.We were told by the staff at the Jet Airways Muscat office that our luggage had never arrived in Muscat & we should contact the Jet Airways Mumbai office.My relative Ms.Aarti spoke to Mr.Dinesh from the Jet Airways Mumbai office who confirmed that the luggage is at the Mumbai airport & that I (Ms.Sneha) just need to email an authorization letter allowing the authorized person to collect the luggage on behalf of me.

                              3). I sent the mail to Mr.Dinesh of Jet Airways Mumbai that I have authorized my brother in law Mr.Umesh Khiyara to collect my luggage.Also I had attached Mr.Umesh Khiyara's passport copy & his passport size photo for identification proof.But when asked to Mr.Dinesh that when should the luggage be collected,then suddenly Mr.Dinesh said that our luggage was still not found & that luggage which he earlier said was in Mumbai airport belonged to someone else !!! How did he confirm in the 1st place that he had found our luggage ??? specially when a complete description of the baggage was mentioned, stating that the bag has it written on it with black marker "java" or "Jk java"

                              4).I was told that I should have made a Lost luggage complaint at the Mumbai airport, when I found my luggage missing.... But when your staff assured me, despite my repeated questioning about the whereabouts of my 1 missing luggage, that it will reach Muscat, then during that time where does the issue of complaining for lost luggage comes up ???? that too when your supervisor on duty states this, and wrongly guides me saying a email to be sent if baggage is not at Muscat...! I had confirmed with the supervisor that i can send the email right away that the baggage is gone missing, but they wrongly guided to first reach muscat then send an email.
                              Does Jet Airways staff take the passengers for a ride first assuring them that the luggage will reach to Muscat & then asking that why a complaint for the Lost Luggage was not made at the airport ?!?!?!?!!...The airlines staff should have guided to make the complain, every passenger may not know all the rules and regulations.

                              I am fed up with the service of Jet Airways . Its been more almost 15 days that my baggage has gone missing and i have not been even compensated for the missing bag. I may even add that I am delibrately not been handed my baggage for i had stated that my baggage contains "laptop".



                              I also believe that it was not that my flight had departed early, but instead the seats were given to other passengers, the reason for this belief is that we were guided by a Jet Airways staff who took us to the international airport in a hurried manner, where they did not mention that the flight was scheduled early for departure, after reaching the check-in counters.The Jet Airways staff (the one who guided us to check-in counter) had a word with other staff on intercom, checked our boarding passes, our seat nos, confirmed with some one on intercom then stated to us that we cannot board our flight. If the flight was scheduled early for departure, they could simply mention about it to us so, why there was the need to check our seat numbers...???

                              After reaching Muscat, i got to know from a couple of travel agencies that there are many complaints of Jetairways connecting flights that get mis-connected, hereafter the passenger is given rude replies to have patience and is given no assurance as to when they will be able to board the plane. The staff replies that the next flight is overbooked. Also the passenger is not provided with any accomodation, for they state that "if there would be an technical error in the flight then only airlines is responsible to provide accomodation, but delay due to traffic congestion at domestic airport we connot do anything." We waited on mumbai international airport for 24hours after which we could board another flight..!

                              Jetairways deliberately keeps a time span of 2hours to reach the connecting flight. Are they not aware that there is always traffic congestion at mumbai domestic airport plus there are long immigration ques to board an international flight? Plus checkin counter close 1hour or 45 mins prior to plane depature, boarding gates close 25 mins prior to departue, then how does Jetairways issue tickets with such short period of time span.

                              This is a mere way to earn at cost of passangers sufferings. The the airlines is sure that the connecting flight passanger will not be able to board the plane, so they can easily issue the same seats to other passangers. Thus getting fare for one seat by two passangers at the cost of sufferings of the passanger who had a connecting flight.



                              Jetairways has highly misguided me...!! Why should passengers suffer for bad service and misguidance of Jet Airways !!!

Due to over baggage she missed flight.jet airways not allowed to travel next flight to vadodara.They forced to buy new ticket, its right way to get business? Jet staff is manner less.                                   I am MM, an IITD visiting student from University of Cape Town in South Africa. I have booked a return flight from Jet Airways Airline and here are fight details: ticket no (E-ticket[protected]C1/321-322, confirmation no FIQBVM. I have been calling this airline stuff to change my bookings from 30 May to 30 June since my tertiary research work is recently extended till 29 June. None of them could help me except taking me from pillar to post. The last answer I got from them is that I should cancel their flight and get only R700 out of R3050 that I paid their airline. This is ridiculous to me because I cannot afford any other airline with that amount, given that I am a student. Firstly, it is not my choice to cancel their flight; I just wanted them to change my bookings to later stage and there is no wrong in doing this as I have been doing it my whole life with other flights and never experienced this ridiculous drama. I understand that their airline routes to Johannesburg was suspended and I feel pity for them but as a customer that should not convenience me in anyway considered that I was not informed prior booking. If they informed me prior booking of their airline in February this year, I would have booked another airline in the first place. I think they should do what they swore to the Times of India newspaper "Jet Airways will work closely withe its interline partners and ensure affected guests are re-booked on alternate flights for their travel from June 12, in order to minimize inconvenience caused," . Yes, my return flight is on the date before 12th June but that does not mean that I could not change my flight to later stages. I cannot leave the date before I finish my very important project for my degree (so they advised me) because of their predicament.

                                  I have started calling their stuff since Wednesday 24 May till today, yet no effective response was considered and my ticket will soon expire before they do what they supposed to do without me begging them. On Thursday, I have called their office in New Delhi (G11/G12, Outer Circle, G-Block, Connaught circus, Connaught place, 110001) and spoke to Elizabeth Samrah (mind my spelling if it is wrong) who referred my call to Reshma who understood my situation but explained that she couldn't do anything, but advise me to go straight to the airline counter at thee Airport. I went there on the same day and spoke with the lady who was working on the ticketing counter who I explained the matter to her and asked her to change my flight ticket to 30the June 2012. After a long time of checking on her computer, she told me that she is sorry as she cannot do a change as their airline is no longer operating to Johannesburg and I should cancel my flight and get ~R700 out of the entire amount I paid their airline. I did not believe she also said that and I told her I cannot do that and I want full refund so I can afford another airline. She then called her colleague, a man this time, who said there is nothing they can do and gave me the email address ([protected]@jetairways.com) so that I can e-mail their manager or boss who makes decision and he or she will solve this matter. He even promised that I will get respond immediately. I did that immediately and yet no response till today. This comes as a poor service for me and negligence responsibility of their company to their customer. I had paid INR600 of my food to visit their airport for assistance and this is the treatment I get. Now I have to go back to airport and pay another taxi fare to speak to them again as their boss or manager is not responding my e-mail. My ticket will get expire soon. I am a foreign student who should worry only about my education here in a foreign country, but now my stress is being added on by some poor service of Jet Airways Airline.

                                  I am writing to you for some advise and assistance of getting this airline to do what we call "good customer service" and connect me to their inter airline partners as they promised or at least give me my full refund so I can afford another airline. I got a good service in their airline when I was coming to their country here in New Delhi, but now I am very disappointed on them about this matter and this fade every praise I ever gave them before.

                                    I write this to voice the issues I faced on my journey to the US. Following are the details

                                    Route: Hyderabad-Delhi-Hong Kong- San Francisco

                                    I had booked a return ticket with Jet Airways on the above mentioned route through Yatra.com. The e-ticket clearly mentioned that I was eligible to check-in 2 baggages per passenger. To my shock, my luggage was booked only upto Hong Kong where I had to take all my luggage and check-in again with United Airways with whom the Jet Airways has a code-share agreement. I was told here by United Airways that I am allowed to check in just 1 bag. In addition to the physical ordeal we had to undergo in transporting my baggage and running from place to place over the entire airport,It was disappointing and shocking that I was required to pay to check-in the other bag costing 70 USD.
                                    I was continuously corresponding with Yatra.com people who promised to help me by rectifying the problem on my return journey. Today i received a mail from yatra.com that i may have to pay for the second baggage on my return journey also and claim refund. I feel cheated and hoodwinked by Jet Airways who could not keep up their promise. I could have taken a direct flight to SFO with the additional charges i was made to pay and would have been more comfortable..because the flight charges were less if I had chosen Jet Airways...but finally feel fooled by making me pay extra for the second baggage..As initial carrier it was the responsibility of Jet Airways to ensure that their code sharing partners honor the commitment given by them(Je Airways)..can you please revert with a solution to the problem and enabling me to carry my 2 baggages from SFO to HYD..

                                      Disgusting service of Jet Airways.......... boarded the flight on 13/05/12 from lucknow to hyderabad at 6 pm via flight no S24243. it has been more than 24 hrs but still have not recvd my baggages. it was my first day to internship nd i was having no clothes to wear what a pathetic service of JET Airways.till now not recvd my luggage can anybody help?????????????????????

                                      because of that 3 days delayed me and my family had to go through lots of trouble and emberassament .
                                      very next day we had to attend the family function and because of that we had to buy new stuff which we already carried with us in our baggage.
