Sir,

I had a problem with my g550 sl no CBQ0319531. I am not able to do the one key recovery as it is showing available space is not enough, maybe due to increased size of hard disk after each defragmentation.

Since last 24 hrs I am trying to get in touch Through the toll free nos but non of the toll free nos published in the official website are working viz[protected], [protected], [protected] and the feedback on service toll free no [protected] where I spoke to Uday couple of time is also not responding, probably blocked intentionally. It seems these two nos [protected], [protected] were also blocked intentionally since I got connected twice yesterday but disconnected after the call was transferred to the technical dept. I have also sent 5 emails to the [protected]@lenovowarranty.co.in and also got disconnected after 3 minutes of STD call to the no[protected]. But no response since 24 hrs.

It seems your toll free nos only works between 12 noon and 5 pm

I have problem with my g550 laptop. I have logged and my case id was generated since feb 21st but till today my problem is in the same place. I am getting the answers from the deputed service provider that the part is yet to be received within 2/3 days since last 10 days.

The IBM has manufactured china toys with no reponsiblity to be accessed by the customers with their toll free or charged nos. The situation has been seriously horrible. Some awareness about the lenovo should be created among the customers and web viewers so that future panic to the indians minimised.

    I had purchased Lenovo thinkpad R61i from Megahertz System pvt ltd lamington road Mumbai on 19 feb 2009.
    on the invoice it is written that my system has 3 year warranty, but when i faced some problem and called lenovo for supprot , they say that warranty has expired on 10/9/2009.
    I have sent scanned copy to Lenovo and retailer both.
    Nobody is helping .
    I am suffering from 21 dec2009.
    please do help me.

      I have ordered Thinkpad on 29th Dec 2009. When I placed the order it stated that the laptop delivery date is 1/6/10 but they have SLA of 15 days. I had to go out of the country so I got my tickets done of 1/15/10. But by 1/14/10 they didn't deliver the laptop I had to cancel my ticket as there would have been no one to pick the laptop. When I called the customer care first of all they disconnected my call many times. I have to call them again and again. Then they said that they can't do anything in this. They can only give me compensation of $28 on this. When I told them as what financial loss I had to bear they simple denied to do anything.$28 cant repay loss of $500. This is heigths of irresponsibility.

      They are least concerned. When they are behaving like this before they sold laptop I am concerned how they'll behave after sale of it.

        Sir,
        I brought a Lenovo laptop model no 3000 G 430 (4152 ACQ) with serial no EB11562012 from Supreme Technologies Pvt. Ltd. 35, Chittaranjan Avenue, Kolkata - 12(Near Indian Airlines City Office) with retail invoice no. STPL/03190/[protected] Dtd 08/05/09, DO no. 3223. Few days back I found some colour line on my laptop, at the time o[censored]sing the product. I immediately contact Lenovo call centre but they did not provide me the case no.. But they argued that this product is broken internally and they will not provide the warranty. Then I went to a service centre, they checked it but they said the same and.they provide me a toll free no for further contact but I never got the response from other end. my laptop never fallen nor intentionally or accidentally damage from outside and the LCD screen cover is intact. I made a complaint on this issue for so many times but i got a negative answer from them. But at the time of checking they did more damage to my product. Before that checking I found only 3-4 lines on both direction (horizontal & perpendicular) on my LCD screen and after that a can’t see anything on bottom portion on my laptop’s screen.So you please resolve this issue immediately.

        Lenovo — malfunction of LCD

        Dear sir,
        We purchased a lenovo PC worth 43, 000 having three years warrenty 0n April 2007 . From about two days of purchase we had some or other problem with the PC . Now our LCD is projecting some odd line . The company people replaced the peice three times but gave us worse LCDs . When we asked to give us a report (to file a complain)that they had replaced our LCD they refused to do so . Now our PC is all most 1year6months old they give us excuses and prolong the matter .

          Dear sir/madam

          My name is Kalpesh Bhanushali. I am a electronic Engineer working in Vadodra. I was travelling form my home town UMBERGAON to VADODRA on 3rd JAN 2010.
          Name of the train : Gujarat Express

          Seat: 12
          After accuring my seat, i arranged my luggage. Kept my heavy luggage on the rack and a LAPTOP bag on the hanging hook.
          On the next stop a Passenger without any bagegs came and set next to me. He was a guy with arround 20 to 21 age with dark complextion. His height approx 5 feet 4 inch. Had averrage long hairs.
          Train reached SURAT at arround 10.30am. I had a small nap when train arrived at Surat Station. As i woke up after Train started from surat station i observed that person seating next to me was not there. Within few minuites i observed my LAPTOP bag was missing. I searched it on Upper rack and below my seat. But didn't find my bag anywhere. One of the person asked me what i was searching for. I explaind him regarding my Bag. He told me that the person seating next to me got down at surat with LENOVO LAPTOP hangging on the hook.
          By the time surat was long behind. I asked Travelling Ticket examiner for procdure to lodge a complain. He told me to inform GRP at your destination station.
          As my destination came i got down at VADODRA & inquired for GRP- Gujarat railway police. It was near platform number 4.
          I conveyed the complete story as wrriten here. However Police person seating on the desk told me " Lodge this complaint at SURAT railway staion. As the theft took place at surat its of no use lodging a complaint here at VADODRA".
          It was already 2 pm. I thought of going to SURAT next Morning as had some offical work to do.
          Next Morning that is 4rt of JAN i went to surat. I inquired about the GRP surat. It was at the walking distance from station. I conveyed the complete story to the Inspector seating there. He told me that " I cant lodge a complain here as U came to know regarding your theft after SURAT station". All my efforts were gone in vain.
          Then i tried for RPF surat. However they also told me that it should be informed to GRP.
          I thought i will again go to VADODRA GRP and try t conveince him. But they did not entertained me and asked me to go to POLICE CONTROL ROOM and give a wrriten application on the name of SURAT GRP Dept.
          Finally i came to know that i could not lodge a complaint anywhere unless and untill i have a JACK or LINK whom i can try for. As this was my first vist to Police station i was shocked to know the hectic procedure to lodge a complaint.
          i wish this Consumer Complaint web will help me out. please assure that i am not at all complaing about any Police athority. Just Help me out to find my valuables.

          LAPTOP Bag contained folowing valueables:-
          1) Silver colour LENOVO LAPTOP N100 3000 model number
          2) Check book of HDFC bank on my account
          3) Tataindicom Modem SXC-1080 model. S/N EUSC520562
          4) Kingston pendrive, Blue colour

            I have a problem with the charger adapter of my laptop (Y series).
            I have Onsite Service Warranty till 06 Dec 2010 for reference Serial no. : 77614AQMA5D879.
            I logged a service complaint (case ID: L9CV00BL) for the same on 31 Dec 2009.
            I got a very poor service response from their HOUSE OF LAPTOPS Service CENTRE chinchwad pune,
            First of all the Service Engineer did not know whether my laptop adapter was under the service warranty or not. I have the agreement with me where it is nowhere written that the adapter is not under service warranty. So he told me that he will confirm it from Lenovo and respond as soon as possible, but I got a response only on 02-jan-2010 and that also when I called him for the status. He said they have confirmed it that adapter is in warranty and he will be placing an order on 04 - Jan 2010 as, 2nd Jan is Saturday, 3rd Jan is Sunday, and 4th Jan is the next working day, and from that day it will take another 4 days for the adapter to reach. (In all 10 days is the duration of service resolution), he is not ready to give me a temporary charger till that duration of time so that I can use my laptop. So in all I have to bear with this service response which is very discouraging and non supportive to the laptop users.
            The service engineers working are not supportive to the customers, they do not believe in quick resolution of the problem, have a lack of knowledge and are responsible for the frustration and harassment caused to the customer.

            today I got another update saying issue will be attended by 20th feb.

            dont you think I have dependency on my laptop?? how much working pending with this issue?

              purchased a Lenovo laptop from Croma, Greater Noida on 1st March 2009. I am working with TCS and currently deputed to Switzerland.

              Details of the laptop are :-

              My laptop fan has started making loud noise just like a bad bearing and its touch pad is getting heated. This is happening since last 3 months. I tried to contact Lenovo Switzerland and I was told that this model is not supported here in Switzerland. I contacted Lenovo India and I was told that laptop would be supported only when I will be back to India. When I purchased the laptop I was made convince that laptop will be supported in any part of the World, but I don't have any thing in written as a proof for that.

              This situation is very much disheartening and discouraging. I am very much helpless as I cannot come to India to get the laptop repaired and Lenovo Switzerland is least interested as I didn't purchased this production here. Also the response of the customer care executives of Lenovo India is very disappointing. Every time I need to explain the situation again and again to a new executive and he/she can not find any reference to my problem on their system.

              Please go through the attached mails to look into the correspondence I have done so far with Lenovo warranty support in India.

              Also when I check online the warranty status, my warranty is displayed as expired and the warranty expiration date is 9th Dec 2009. Pls see below the screen shot.



              I have talked to a number of customer care executives for this. Also I have sent the attached mails to get the warranty corrected but nothing has been done so far.

              Such a poor response is not expected from brand like Lenovo.

              I didn't know where to escalate this and found this blog therefore writing to you.

              Lenovo Laptop — Poor Warranty Support

              I had bought a Lenovo Idea Pad Y450 on 14th June 2009 .

              Now within 6 months again the computer had problems in detecting the Hard disk and was again given to a service center in chennai on 5/12/09. Till date I dont even have a clue of when I will get my Laptop back in proper working condition.

              I have purchase warranty extention for 2 years. now my laptop warranty should be expired on 29 march 2011. but in lenovo database showing december 2010

              I sent purchase invoice to lenovo warranty and RT Outsourcing more than 15 times

              It is been 9 month still the warrenty of laptop is not updated correctly

              I strongly advice please don't send payment to RT Outsourcing delhi they as very fency on phone before you send payment after realisation of cheque nobody remember even your name and phone, no service after payment
              I repeat my words - please dont send payment to RT Outsourcing delhi for warranty update

                I have bought a Lenovo Laptop on January 4 2009. I got 1 year warranty for the product. My Laptop's silver coating around the keyboard and the mouse pad is coming out. I tried to contact customer care of Lenovo many times. They used to respond after a long period. Whenever I mail to customer care, they used to give reply like this. "You will get the reply within two business days" and I never got a perfect reply in time or withing two days.

                When I called Customer Care and asked about this issue, they said that this is a cosmetic damage and not a hardware damage and they will not give warranty for this and also they are not ready to tell the remedy for this also. Lenovo Customer Care Service is very bad and behaving in a very bad manner towards customer without a proper reply.

                Lenovo is cheating customers in the name of warranty.

                They are neglecting issues like this and they are not even ready to tell a solution for my problem. Lenovo is providing a very bad product like this. I feel shame on Lenovo's customer support and for providing me such a quality less product for 35000 Rs.

                Please do not allow to continue this towards any of the Consumers.

                  I bought Lenovo 3000 Y410 8CQ model on 12-July-08 from ITJ Bhiwani, Haryana. They assures me about the lifeime free servicing of this laptop, but after some months ITJ stores at Bhiwani, Kaithal etc found closed and due to which my laptop suffering from fan problem. Its fan always produces the sound in running status. Plz give me some solution or suggestions.

                    i was installed win xp with Sp2 in lenovo g550 laptop, & i trying audio driver, audio driver installed but HDA driver problem, please see the attached file "hda driver error". then i installed win xp SP 3 & trying hda driver installation but same problem.

                    It seems that firstly you have not installed the MS .NET Framework 3.5, so install MS .NET Framework 3.5 then install the Audio and Display drivers.

                    just download drivers from lenovo website
                    and call @ lenovo/IBM call centre

                      I had purchased a Lenevo G550 notebook a month ago. I haven't received the license key for K7 antivirus as promised in the offer yet. It seems many users are facing the same issue. Please look into this urgently.

                      I am sure i am not going to purchase any other Lenevo product again nor i am going to recommend this to anyone.

                      Hell ya... i should have gone for Dell. Atleast, their limited service is worth the hefty money you pay them.

                        Not attending my complaint even in still original Ist year warranty period

                        I have purchased above Desktop from M/S FORE SOLUTION at Sector 34 Chandigarh on dt. 13.12.2008 vide Invoice No. 789. I have faced trouble many time with this product i.e. some times non functioning of speakers, Camera, windows corruption. I have talked the concerned but it is my dismay, it remained unattended from them even within original Ist year warranty period which is unfortunately going to be lapsed tomorrow .

                        At the time of purchase, the supplier firms assured me by saying that, They are authorized for service support if need in the future so, it will be better to purchase from them only. As I am having complaint therefore talked to the said authorized supplier to undertake my complaints to eradicate the problem of this product, but surprisingly my all the efforts gone in vain.

                        I am failed to understand, if they are authorized for giving service support then why are they suggesting me to contact to the customer care. As on contact with Customer Care they bounce back the matter by saying to contact local service provider i.e. Fore Solution, 34, Chandigarh.

                        This is a clear cut example of Misconduct and Misbehavior from the LENOVO Company, as Fore Solution, Sector 34, Chandigarh are representing them and not providing services which are my deemed right as I have paid hard earned money for said product.

                        Further to add here that during purchase, I had opted two items under scheme at that time i.e. 1. Printer and 2. Extended warranty period 1/1/1 to 3/3/3. For which I had received the printer only. In regards to the extending warranty, even of various requests, the company did not send me the required Authenticating No.for registering my said Desktop for upgrading the warranty. How ever the Redemption Cell, Chennel Technologies, A 74, sector 2, Noida 201301, replied me on dated 17/12/2008 by Email and atteched copy of this Email, with mentioning reference code number RED[protected] in order to redeem the gifts.

                        Again I warned to the quarter concerned of the company to take urgent and Immediate step in this regard otherwise, I have only way to knock the door of honorable Court.

                          I had purchased a laptop last year, in this 1 year i am facing many difficulties. I purchased my laptop from Bareilly ,but i am staying in meerut just now . In the month of May my CD DRIVE stooped working, I replaced it in Meerut in the month of August,(it was under warranty period) and now it is December , the device again stooped working . When i called your customer care they said that you have to purchase it now .Just tell me is this what this company provide service to their customers? What type of commitment they do with their customers? What types of parts do they privide to your customers? This is really very bad experience for me to buy a laptop from such a renowned company and facing these kinds of diffuculties. (MODEL NAME =7758, S/N ABQ0034016) Sir kindly look into this issue as i am a student and can`t afford to buy another DVD Drive .the company replaced the bad part to me and made money out of it.

                          To my utmost surprise when I contacted Mr. Praksh he told me that he did not receive any mail regarding this issue.

                              Lenovo — not giving my warranty pack

                              Greetings!

                              31/07/2008:- I received a promotional call from Lenovo Company to buy Lenovo IdeaPad and was referred to the authorized dealer giving the details of the dealer. Highlighting the 3 years of Warranty service if I buy the product today.
                              I purchased a Notebook (Laptop) of Y510 series Lenovo IdeaPad Model 7758 Sr. No. ABQ0049817 ME 15799 because of 3 years warranty service.
                              My LAPTOP Sr. No. and my all correspondence details, contact no. were registered there online in the showroom of the Dealer to avail the said Warranty of 3 years. I confirmed there to do anything else; they replied NO NEED TO DO anything now.
                              I received an e-mail & print out while registration for the 3 years warranty Lenovo with a reference no. a warranty upgrade from 1/1 to 3/3**.
                              In December, 2009 I noticed one day my laptop has got defect in its bottom and hinges. It creates gap during I open the top. It breaking from its bottom day by day.
                              21/12/2009: I brought the defect in dealer notice. They took my laptop for necessary repair or service. After 1 or 2 days they just refuse to do anything and they were suggesting me do this and that. I just faded up with the dealer and his behavior. Copy of Inward Receipt of Dealer i have kept as proof.

                              I called the toll free no. of Lenovo Customer Care they registered my case informing me that if I have that email in which upgraded warranty information reference no. was mailed to you. Then you will get the warranty service. There was a ray of hope and i was expecting that the a year old mail may be in my inbox or not. Thank God i was having that mail in my Inbox.

                              24/12/2009 to till now: I have been calling and contacting the Lenovo through phone calls and e-mails and telling the facts they were just replying we are working on your case finally they just refused to give me said warranty or replace my defect laptop. I am mailing them continuously but there is no response from their side.

                                i purchased a new laptops model G-550 94Q from authorised deald Unique infoways Pvt Ltd, nehru place new delhi on[protected] at 16.00 hrs in the DOS mode for Rs.32,000 after coming to my home a red colour dot pixel is appearing in the LCD, i took it to the dealer but they redirected to take it to service center on[protected] for replacement they did not agree for that lodge a complaint through no.[protected] they gave me a complaint No. 5065722 after two days they ask me photo snaps and finally one[protected] they refused to change the laptops, since i got a new brand and also a manufacture fault they are not ready to change. please lodge a compliant against them

                                I bought lenovo g505s laptop dated 16th July 2013.
                                My laptop display keeps blinking and i asked them replacement as it is just 20 days.

                                1. I called customer care.
                                2. They tried to troubleshoot remotely but it cant be reproduce on remote.
                                3. They ask me to reinstall driver.
                                4. Nothing worked, and i called them again and asked for replacement.
                                5. Customer care said initially said 30 days is replacement policy. Later changed to 15 days and again to 1 week.
                                6. Now he said, he can send engineer to replace part but not entire laptop.

                                I want to raise this to consumercourt and need strict action on this.

                                  i reinstalled my usb camera driver..bt same prob ...and also my bluetooth is nt working its driver is not being install it showing"no bluetooth hardware found"

                                  plz help me sir to solve the prob...

                                  I brough my lenovo Y410 8CQ at 24.8.2009..and since then it became like a rule for my life to have a problem with my laptop...only becoz of this reason i did'nt brough any graphic card...coz if i would have to change laptop then my graphic card would be sold at the price of crap..

                                  well my problems are many...

                                  like
                                  1:- The speakers- My CDMA mobile(which is not a multimedia set) Rings wirth more volume then my laptop sings..
                                  and when ever i went to the service center under the warrenty timing they always denied this problem...and now when the warrenty is finished then the same service center wants more then 2000 rs to fix this porblem...:-X

                                  2:-and this laptop always sounds like a factory machine...means the FAN or whatever u call it...always 24X7 sounds...even sometime it sounds like in few sec this this laptop will go blast badly...

                                  3;-Its Graphics !!! dude!! it always works like it is a 8 BIT special i cant play any 3D games ...no matter that same game can be playable on a Dual Core with 1 GB RAM...and this laptop have core 2 duo, 2 Gb RAM...once i made his far ...but that thing cost me problem no 4...once i downloaded a patch game...
                                  it starts to work but when inside the game i go fast game start to jurking...

                                  and ONCE "THAT THING " HAPPEND WHICH I CALLED NOW PROBLEM NO 4;- MY LAPTOP GOSE AUTOMATIC TRUNED OFF WITH A ONOMOTOFOIA SOUND OF "chiit !!!"


                                  and see this unluck...that..this problem came after just one week was done of warrenty...
                                  and i don't wanna waste more money to get more warrenty...

                                  so i went to a local but big hardware shop they fixed it at the cost of 1200/-
                                  after something like 45 days again that problem retrun...then the same person cost it 800/-

                                  both of the time he says that POWER I.C. was burned...

                                  then after 2 month again that same problem came so i gave this laptop to my friend he cost only 500/- and said POWER SORTAGE was the problem...
                                  but only in 30-40 days again thsi problem came...so i cant bear it plz tell me what this laptop wants for me...

                                  SIR I AM A ANIMATOR AND COMPUTER SPECIAL EFFECT ARTIST...MY MOST OF THE SOFTWARE DO RENDERING...I REALLY NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM PERMANENTLY...I CANT AFORD THIS MUCH...CURRENTLY I AM NOT IN SITUATION TO BUY A NEW ONE..
                                  PLZ HELP ME OUT...
                                  EVEN I CANT TAKE RISK TO GO SERVICE CENTER COZ THEY WILL EAT FIRSTLY 500/- TO 1000/- AS THEIR SERVICE CHARGE THEN THEY WOULD OPEN THEIR BIG MOUTH THAT, "sir you need to spend[protected]/- to fix it..." EVEN IT CAN BE MORE THEN THAT...

                                    Hello,
                                    I have purchased Lenovo y500 laptop from jalandhar.During my study when i was in pune, i came across with a problem in this laptop.i went to the service center of lenovo whicj is at "Monarch IT Planet Law college Road Pune.".they told me that they will repair it in 3 days.after 3 days they didint respond me and delayed the issue..after 10 days when i went to see my laptop, i was surprised to see that there was a big crack on the laptop and they told me that this is very usual ..whenever you open a lenovo laptop for repair then this crack will always occur..i purchased this laptop for 51000 and now its resale value is 6000 rs only..and the problem 4 which i have given this laptop for repair is still there..
                                    I also had bad experience at 'Monarch IT Planet Law college Road Pune' - the ppl there r very rude and talk non sense when u call them to have any query. specifically dont go by their promotional offers as the free things they provide never work.

                                      I was reffered a Reseller Hosting service from LenovoHost.com which was said to be an "ALPHA MASTER RESELLER PRO". After I pay for that, plus a dedicated IP, plus a domain...I check my email and it says I only got a regular "MASTER RESELLER PRO". After I contact support, they tell me I can only use VERY low resources and my account is EXTREMELY restricted. NOWHERE does it warn me of these restrictions or resource usage. Then when I ask for a refund, they deny me the refund and only say they're going to refund me for the domain and IP. I paid for a service which came out to be COMPLETELY different than what I was said to be getting. Now I am being denied my full refund. Then they continued to force me to get a paypal ID so I can get ONLY $12. I didnt even pay with paypal. I payed via Debit Card THROUGH paypal without any registration or login. If I would have known I am getting the worst service and worst package on the web, I wouldnt have gotten this. But I was fooled and rejected in the end.

                                        LAPTOP TOUCHPAD DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY

                                        1. The laptop model no 2269-27 Q sno EB09649504 purchased from Universal computers and system on the 31st of December 2008 vide invoice no UCS/MAL/00059/08-09.

                                        2. The problem with the laptop was first detected in the month of June end regarding non functioning of the touch pad, cursor skipping to the top of the page while typing letters, and the web cam not working, and junk characters.
