I agree with all the complaints and have faced all of them. The builder and quality of construction is pathetic. We need to go to consumer court
What SMR Vinay City residents need is a mailing list / googleGroup to get organized. anonymous forums like these dont help ever.

The most important thing is unity among the residents. Then only all can fight againist this kind of rogue builder. What i see is this is missing among the residents. This is causing the advantage for the SMR.
I strongly suggest the new buyers don't beleive the commitments from the SMR. Their MD is a cheater. Finally you will be the victim.

I recently enquired about a flat and some one advised that not to buy and MD fled out of country and may not be able to complete projects. Not sure of actual situation, but double check if you are serious to buy.

SMR builders are the worst builders. The quality of the construction is poor. They don't abide for their promises made during the purchase. I suggest new buyers not to purchase in their ventures. You can go & see in their venture SMR Vinay City. Not even a single resident is happy with the quality of the construction. Be ware of SMR.
Don't purchange in SMR's projects. Their MD is a Rogue. They had a very poor track record in executing the projects. Good example is SMR Vinay City. They have not provided the promised eminities.

Y day i had visited SMR Technipolis and few flats are their on sale. Builder is asking for Rs 3000 psft.
Looking at the negative comments i am scarred to buy at this site. But i would still like to know from you guys what is resonable per SFT rate here. And is it worth to spend 35-40 L on a 2BHK flat in this project. Please advice.

Don't purchase in SMR projects. They cheated the customers with their bad quality. Please visit SMR vinay City & talk to the residnets you can visulize their cheating. SMR's MD is rougue. He made the SMR projects as a erning power him. Everything is costly there. Ther is no value for your money if you purchase ib their projects. This project was already delayed by 2 years & still going on. reseidnets are suffering with the poor quality & seepages. Even the builder not hand over the corpus fund to the residents. He had every control. & erning money from the maintaing the site. Very poor maintanance in spite of collecting huge maintenance. Residents already paid the corpus but he is not using the corpus & not releasing to the association. He is discouraging the residents to form the association.

With slump market, Aliens may not complete the projects...for safe side do not go for either...
One thing i can say. I don't know about Aliens. But do't go with SMR. They are the biggest cheats. They cheated the people like anything. There is no option in this site to attach the pictures showing their quality. Otherwise i would have add the SMR project picures here.
I don' Agree with the above comments. Some of them are exaggerated. It was delayed by may be 30 days but the construction and the amenities are good. It is worth for what you pay. Some of them may be expecting too much for what they have paid which causing this dissatisfaction.
Before purchasing they have mentioned what they are going to provide and they did it.Even they have provided more what they promised. As per my view the management and the team are co-operative. If any problem I have visited their MD.
As per my view only minor problems are there, it will happen to all constructions. If anybody have problems you can directly meet their MD, you will get the immidiate solution.He is a nice gentleman.

I stay in block 2A, VINAY CITY. i do not agree with your wrong opinion on this project.
the facilities in this project are excellent. in hyderabad there is no other project hane theese facilities.
we are enjoying cricket ground, swimming pool, shuttle court etc alot.landscaping is very attractive.
kids got enough playing equipments in the children play parks.
vinay city is a monument in hyderabad. Any one can personally visit and feel the facts.
lastly i appreciate the great architect and Managing Director Mr.Ram reddy for building such a great property.

Sahithi & Manish, tell me your flat number and i would visit you. That swimming pool is not a pool but a pond. The finishing in bathrooms is horrible. Tiles are broken and no-one listens. Lifts go bad pretty often. Pipline Gas shuts down frequently in block 2C. There is so much of work which is still pending. I also stay in 2A and all the walls in my flat have big cracks. Many of the flats, main doors have been broken. Residents are paying from their pocket and get the things resolved.

Buy anywhere but do not buy in SMR Vinay City. Go & meet the residents personally and they would tell their horror stories. Of course, if you are going to mee Rami Reddy or anyone from SMR, they would absolutely praise as they are trying to sell their remaining flats.
Once SMR sells the flat to you, then would not be able to meet them again. I remember, after three months of buying my flat (Mar 2006), once i went to their office to get a paper. The sales guy made me wait for 2 hrs just to give me a paer.

I am not a reletive or friend of management. I am also a customer like you. I have purchased my [protected]@1500 per sft. What ever the problems you mentioned are not faced by us. We are living from last 2 ½ yers. They have given the Standard option for the main door, windows and other accesories and they told the quality also. We paid extra money and opted the Good Teak wood door. Even the walls we have Lappam Finish. You only paid 400 per square feet and expecting the Palace finish for your walls? How it is possible ? I have paid 1500 per sqr feet and I am not expecting a palace finsh. The greater community is for the security and safety purpose. The money we have paid mainly is for the land cost not the building .
