[Resolved]  Vasanth & Co — Poor customer service

I booked and paid cash for a samsung washing machine in padi branch on 27.11.2010. They delivered on 28.11.2010. In that the drum was damage.I immediately informed to the padi branch
they replied that they change the machine immediately till now ( 20.12.2010 ) they did not changed and I am not using the machine ( even I did not opened the Pack ) Till now they are telling that they will send immediately. My dear Indians don't purchase any things in Vasanthan & co especially in PADI Branch.

we ordered a SONY LCD TV two days back on VASANT & CO , TAMBARAM and paid full amount on their promise to deliver the product next day morning

even after three days they have neither delivered the product nor are giving definite replies of when the product will be delivered . the manager of this branch is not answering direct queries on the subject and only says he will inform as soon as the product is received at their end.

if the product is not in stock with them or if they do not know when it can be arranged does it not amount to cheating the customers ie to accept the full payment , raise invoice and promise delivey next day?

all customers intend to deal with the vendor should be beware of this branch.

May I request Sh. Vasant kumar , an honest business man who has built his reputation on honesty, reputation and public confidence to take suitable action on such branch managers who are bent upon spoiling his name and reputation and also advise them to stick to business ethics in stead of short cuts as this

I buy one Onida sppellit A.C from Vasonth &CO at Adyar branch on 6.4.11.Till Date nobody comes to Installation Many Times I spoke to Mr.Stephen And BOY, they are asking irresponsible answer and also they are asked me you return The product and get back your money.This is for Your service? please give proper explanation for above statement, otherwise we are going to consumer court.

Short Desc:
This is to complain Vasanth & Co that, for the sake of your fat profit margin on AC, Vasanth & Co recommended "HITACHI" and it gives n number of problems and I am badly running behind service technician.

Desc in Chronological Order:
On Wednesday 23rd May 2012, I visited T-Nagar Vasanth and Co to get a Bluestar AC as I own same brand for my other house but the sales representative urged me to buy Hitachi saying the cost of it is same as Bluestar, also has four way cooling feature and second best brand in AC.

Vasanth and Co gave single booster stabilizer for 1300 rupees where as Hitachi 1.5 Ton requires double booster for compressor to start at addition of rupees 2950 on exchange that I had to bear - Sales representative was not aware and his promise on same price is wrong as the stabilizer cost is addition of 2950 rupees.

In our flat of 24 houses, other brand ACs are working fine with single booster. The flat is near transformer and no fluctuations in voltage. Also other high voltage appliances like heater, washing machine etc are working fine.


One week is going to pass and I still do not have AC operational. Even after the double boost the AC compressor is not working...

Conclusion:
Vasanth & Co is not aware of product but recommend it for your Vasanth & Co benefit alone without knowing the hidden cost and other problems customer will face.

I have purchased LG Refrigerator and washing machine from vasanth & co from Trade center, there is no proper response for delivery and no one is picking up the phone, also no proper response from them, its really showing their very pure quality of service and very pure quality of customer care,

My humble request to all don't by any products from Vasanth & Co, please spread the news to all your friends, colleagues & Relatives.

Please don't order anything from these guys.. poorest service.. haven't received delivery of a refrigerator and a TV orderedon 14th until now.. everyytime i call, the answer is you'll get it tomorrow.. and that 'tommorrow' never comes.. frustrated like hell.. worst i've ever seen..

Reading the above comments this is a very clear statement which results in we people running behind discounts and cut short money from our pockets instead quality.

Vasanth @ Co is no longer a company which cares about Customer experience.

A lesson for chennaities ...Enjoy calling them ...keep looking at ur door steps for their delivery...

I purchased a Samsung Washing machine with cover about a month ago. They only delivered the washing machine and did not bring the cover.Every time I call the delivery number there is no response. Poor customer service. Avoid them.

The worst customer service I have ever seen... Vasanth & Co T.nagar is the best example for it.
Once they sell the product that's it, they wont care about it whether the installation are done or service is done... I bought a philips HTS5520 home theater on 17 feb 2012 while I ordered the product the sale rep told me that we will book a installation and the philips service people will reach you with in a business day, but today it's 21st feb no one came for installation. In between this I called vasanth & co for more then 5 time and no response and the highlight is that when I called them on the second day (19th Feb) they said, sir sorry kindly given your name address and phone and I gave the details them, the next day when I called them one lady attend my call and said "Sir you gave your name and address but you did not give the Model number" I really got angry and said while I am purchasing I gave all my details but again you asking me the same and I gave you again and now your telling that you don't know the model no ??? don't you know what a customer purchased from your shop and you too have a copy of my bill can't you can see the model number in it???. Don't try to cheat customers like this and I disconnected the call, later I myself called Philips and book for installation. "I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO BUY ANYTHING PRODUCT FROM VASANTH & CO, THEY ARE THE WORST RETAILER I HAVE EVER SEEN"

I went vasanth & co consumer product exhibition on 31st March 2013 . I booked two products 1. IFB Split air conditioner & 1 No Philps TV. The next day itself i cancel my philps TV and selected Toshiba PU 200 Model. I asked the Vasanth & co Corp. Reg Exchange of product even they did not booked their end . They said You may visit near By Vasanth & co And show the Booked Bill and collect the Tv. Once i visited they said it is impoosible to cancel the product in any brance and you should cancel / exchange the product only in Corp. After i went corp to cancel my Philps Tv and Booked the Toshiba. Still 06.04.13 I did not received any product either AC or TV. Also i unable to contact any responisble people reg my product delivery . This is very very worst experience to me against Vasanth & co. They conducted the exhibition only for the year end Annual revenue only not for customer satisfaction. I strongly recommend pls do not book any products in Exhibition .Even they did not give any spl discount .

I booked AC Career in exhibition on 31st March 2013 and the product delivered later 4 days... No one has come for installation so far and Stabilizer, A/C stand are not delivered alone with AC product I have paid for everything.. So many times we called up no response.. PLS DON"T Buy any product from Exhibition.. Very poor costumer service. They never attend the phone calls.

I bought Samsung LED TV on Trade fair on 31st April but they delivered it 3 days before after rigorous phone calls and direct visits. Now the delivered product is DEFECTIVE!! and they are not bothering in the replacement. PLEASE DONT BUY ANY PRODUCTS IN VASANTH & CO

Very Very poor custimer service. Please don't go for Vasanth&Co. I bought AC they took more than a week to do the installation. Felt irritated to call them daily. There is no proper date of installation. When ever I call, simple answer is 'person will come today'. I decided to shop in Vasanth & Co.

At vasanth and co in velachery, the receptionist/telephone operator is absolutely rude and very crude too!!!.I have never seen such a character at any service oriented organisation.Even the way she greets you on making a call...OMG...u must hear it to believe it..u can try by calling [protected] or 22553979.I had this horrific experience as i had to call them over and over to get an Godrej AC installed which i purchased from them.She had the audacity to tell me that i was not the only person who purchase a Ac and that i had no other choice but to wait for the company technicians to come and install.I called them after 24 hours of purchase as they(sales man Raji) told me that it would be installed in 6 to 8 hours

Please do avoid buying anything from Vasanth and Co. It is the worst ever dealer I have ever dealt in my life. That too always avoid from the Trade Fairs where they cheat to provide discount. They are clearing all damaged stocks through these kind of Trade Fairs. I ve booked a Microwave oven from Electrolux and had to wait for 17 days to receive a damaged piece. Again I am still waiting fro Electrolux to replace for the past 15 days.Inspite of making full payment I havent receive the microwave oven till date which is more than a month of waiting.

I got it delivered from Vasanth and Co porur branch. These people just cheat consumers like us by billing the products that they dont even have stock.
