Vodafone — cheating activities done by vodafone customer executive

Dear Sir,

I would like to draw your attention on fraudulence activity done by Vodafone customer service. I have been using a Vodafone number i.e. [protected] since last 1.6 year. Just two month back I got a call from Vodafone customer service executive regarding a new 888 Plan in which I can get a STD benefit. He told me that since you are a super user of STD calls so this plan will be beneficial for you. He told me that all your STD call will be settle in the plan and moreover you will get a STD call free of worth 222 and local would be 30 paisa /call. The service was activated. When I received my bill for the month of January 2009 in which I was charged extra worth RS 516.00 for all STD call which need to be settle in bill as per tariff plan. When I complained to customer service they told me that this plan is beneficial for local call user only in which customer can get local call free unto 1200 and STD call of 222.00 as well.

Sir I would like to tell you that this plan was wrongly activated by customer service. It was done intentally although their customer executive was very well aware that I am not a user of local calls. This is a fault of Vodafone customer executive to activate this plan. I had already made a request to Vodafone consumer service to reverse a usage charge of worth 516.00 and applicable TDS from my bill but no resolution has been taken till date.

I have received a bill of 1583.15 to which I have already paid Rs 800.00. I would like to request you to please take necessary action against. I have already made a request to terminate this number (Request number is [protected]) but I don’t want to pay this cheated amount worth Rs 516 and applicable TDS.

I will be highly obliged if you process this request asap.

I have telephoned, e mailed and written to your company so far with little success.
The following is a copy of a letter I sent to your Complaints Department on 26th January 2009.

" I write to express dissatisfaction with both the signal strength I am currently receiving and the misleading information given by your staff on the recent telephone calls to your helpline.

On 11th January 2009 I telephoned you (191) to report weak signal strength at my home address. My telephone only works spasmodically in one of the upper rooms at my home address. It had previously been very good reception over a period of many years; the reason I chose Vodafone. I was told there had been a problem with the mast but it would soon be rectified.

On 15th January I sent you an e-mail. (This has now been responded to but with a very vague response).

On 22nd January I telephoned you (191) but got "cut off" due to a poor signal.

I again telephoned and asked to be contacted on my BT line if we again became disconnected. The person I spoke to was Jason and he was helpful. After a while he asked me to try my sim card in another telephone in case it was my handset that was causing the problem. This I did, and I had the same (poor signal) problem. He said it was now "our problem" and went to speak to a manager. He returned and said there was a mast "down" in my area, but could not be specific as to its location, nor how long it would take to repair. I asked for a refund of my January rental, and he said he would arrange this. He said if I still had a problem in 48 hours to contact you again.

Since then I have acquired a local magazine article (copy enclosed) that explains the problem far more clearly than your staff have have been able to. It also suggests the problem will continue for the next six months.

I would be grateful if you would confirm that the information in the article is correct, and also why your staff could not have provided more accurate information.

I would also like you to consider how you will compensate me for the poor service I am likely to incur for the next six months and advise when the problem will be resolved.

I am due to renew my contract soon and would be grateful for a speedy response."

I have not received an acknowledgement or reply to the above letter.

On 2nd February I called in you shop in Derby. I was informed that they had received several complaints from customers in this area, and despite four e-mails from your Derby branch to head office, not one had been responded to.

I am now considering terminating my contract with you and making public your appalling customer service.

I would be grateful if you could respond to my concerns and issues outlined in my letter dated 26th January 2009.

Vodafone — bonus card deduction not refunded

I have not asked for rs.49 SMS package. But they have deducted rs.49 on 29.1.2009.

I am using Iphone get from USA from my relative since last six month, In july my mobile bill from vodafone have GPRS charge RS, 67.10, as they people alwayas say and it is true that GPRS can not work on Iphone, i have complain and they agree to rebate in next bill,
I found no rebate in next bill but, again they charge Rs37.20 for GPRS, i have told to higher authorities, they given me promise but second time no rebate,

today when i am busy with call get popup sms u activated caller tune and they charge me, even i have not dialed indicated number with *, again i connect to complain they agree to rebate and promise to cancel the charge, they are fail to resolve the prob after two month, always giving promise to solve

three time complain but no result, every time they say in GUJARATI, NInchit rahejo, have avoo nahithai" CAN we NISCHINT WITHOUT RESOLVING PROBLEM any paying more money every month, (languagae and tone of talk from vodafone rep is alwayes good but no result, wt the meaning of soft langauge alwayes need result)

We can conclude that, common charge we can see that is wrong, can complain and invisibly worn charges they wt can do unauthorized amount they rise ? it is question of trust on vodafone, i have more than 200 phone in group and vodafone have so many millions of subscriber in india, if they do so in only in one-day they can earn invisibly lots of money by loots, it is not the way of earning money,

So question of trust and not attain the complain in proper way, even though i get tired to complain for every month i get more unauthorized charges so i get in tense with heavy depression,

so today i went to contact my doctor they advice me make off your mobile service, can we off my business due to mobile?


CAN we get answer from authorize person from VODAFONE and can we get solution and came out from Heavy loot from people?
