I recently started facing a display issue where the pixels had started to blacken from the lower part and was continuously increasing, with my microsoft surface pro 4 purchased with extended warranty from croma. The issue was reported and a ticket was created.
Without even calling, i received a message that the pick up schedule had been postponed where as i was waiting at the residence for the whole day. The following day the item was picked up.
At the time of pick up, the only issue was with the display. The performance check which i had done on the device using the settings had shown a good performance of the battery, and even on the day i had been able to use the device for nearly 4 hrs on battery power, as with the usual case of day before etc, when `i attend meetings or classes.
Today i get a call from microsoft service (Or the agency assigned) that the battery is gone and needs to be replaced and it is not in warranty and will need to be paid.
When i told that the battery does not need replacement, they are telling me that the device will not power on even after the other parts are replaced as the battery is gone.
Please ensure that i get the device with the display issue resolved, and the device should be working on battery power for the usual 4 hours with normal use, as i did not have any issues with battery discharging fast or other such problems. Was this information helpful? |
