I have completed my all dues to bank towards home load i applied for Rs 680000/-.. This was settled in month of April 2008 and only and I approached ICICI Jai Hind Building office to home loan department where Asst Manager (not gave his name) told me that if you want your documents fast from our mumbai office, pay me Rs 5000/- ... else it may take several years also to get your original docs if you would not pay me

    Hi,

    I have been ICICI Customer for last 7 years, I never had any problems so far. Due to the pleading from the sales reps, I had taken a credit card and had never used that for alomost two years. Meanwhile I had also availed a loan from ICICI ...
    Last month, All of a sudden my account was showing a negative balance and account was loacked, the entire personal loan amont was shown as negative. I had tough time to get details from the bank - The worst customer care center, They seem to have no idea and knowledge .. Finally after 10 days of continious followups they told it was due to loan, I was transfered to loan department and He put me on hold and within no time cleared my account. He said he saw no problem and account is open, within no time I was able to see my account active. I thought it was my bad time and their negligence they have commited this error and went on.
    Later that night found that my entire account was wipped off, I got furious and called up customer care and blasted that poor inocent folk, He took pain and spoke to credit card session, Told that One Mr. Amit Chourasia from ICICI Bangalore Collections team claimed that he has a written authorisation from me to clear the same. I spoke to that Gentleman he said he has directions from RBI for the same,
    I tried educating him, But He ended up challenging me for the consequences with all ill Language. I am sure this would end up in arm twisting fight,

    ... But the whole point is Bank is not realising that by encouraging the Collections - Its loosing its credibility .. I have investments from Dmat Account, Personal loan, and Current account.. Seeing the track of last seven years they should not experiment with the customers.

    I have decided to change my bank, In case if I dont get the amount debited by tommorow - I would ensure they would be not able to take a single penny more from me.

      I Jobby Lonnapan has applied for Housing loan from one of your DSA of ICICI HFC M/s. Shree Financial and has been sanctioned loan of Rs.5 Lakh from Borivali (W) branch, Mumbai since more than 15 days. Thereafter i was called upon to submit all my original document which was submitted immediately within 3 working days. Since then i am waiting for the disbursement and every i am being said from Shree Financial the disbusrement will be done next day. But till date i have not received the same. On 30/07/08 at night 10 o'clock the representative of the bank told me that there is an error in my bank pass book which was actaully typing error of the bank in which i hold the bank account and was a transaction of January 2007 which is actually not required as per your requirement of document and told me to bring original pass book which was given to the bank immediately on 31/07/2008. This also was not satisfied by them so they told again at evening 6 O'clock to get veruification from my bank. the whole time they wasted my time and told me so late that other bank where closed and i was not able to bring the verification letter. Next morning i.e. on 01/08/2008 i brought fresh statement of account for the month and year January 2007 with bank signature and duly stamp and handed over to them at 01.00 P.M., but still now there is no reply from their end. they only say that the process is going on. They say that the Cheque is ready and duly signed but yet to receive the approval. Now i request you to please look into the matter as i am being pressured by the builder for the same. Daily i come to bank and sit till 10 oclock night and new problem is being shown to me, which is actually pointless. I cant understand why am i being so harrashed. Is this is your way of providing service to the customer. I am realy very upset please help me out.

        my monthly instalment of rs4407/-was not deducted on 7th.Aug.08 while sufficient bal. was there in my account.Inspite of getting appoinment for collecting the cheque.from my residence at mahipalpur in New Delhi, Excutive didnot attend .Other Excutive collected another instalment of my second personal loan. I was informed byMR, MANISH, telecaller atB131, Mayapuri INDUSTRIAL Area phase 1that he is sending the exc. for collection on24 oct08 but the exc. did not visit.I have been very regular in paying my instalment, so pl.send the excutive for collection. My loan acc.no.--LPDEL[protected].ON 4 09 2008&24 10 2008 IHEY FAILED TO COLLECT inspite of getting time from me. this is disappointing&discouraging for govt. emloyees aspirans of personal loan from your reputed bank

        Hi, I Have taken a Personal loan of 4.7 Lak with an EMI of 17800 per Month from ICICI Bank 14 months back. I had taken the same for some personal reasons. Till now i have made the EMI payment with out fail. Due to the reseccion the organisation in which i was working has Layoff about 50 employees. I am one among them. Now it has become very diffucult to Run the Family and on top of this i dont know how to make the EMI payment of ICICI personal loan. I am not in a position to make the payment of the personal loan as of now untill i get a job. Kindly advice me as to how to go about. Your suggesions are welcome.

        Kindly reply and suggest as early as possible.

        i believe you should inform the bank accordingly. and i hope you have no recovery agents harrasing you.
        you will only have to wait for a job . this is a concern expressed.

          Dear All,

          I had some dues on my credit card. (I cant mention the credit card number because of security reasons)
          I meeting was held in Jun 2008 to settle my dues. The other term was that my credit card would be cancelled forever. I represented myself and ICICI was represented by Mr Krishna (currently his office is in sec 8, rohini, delhi branch), and there lawyer Mr. Narayan (office in Tis hazari Courts). The meeting was held in the lawyer's chamber. The settlement amount was Rs 52, 000/- to be paid in three monthly instalements of 18000, 18000 and 16000. Both the parties agreed to the terms and conditions.
          I made a payment of 18000/- which was refelected on 28th june 2008 in ICICI.

          To my utter surprise, next month i received the statement again with more penalties imposed on me.
          I tried to contact Mr Krishna but to no avail. I also requested ICICI to send me the of intent for the terms agreed upon but to no avail. after that i didn't make any payment as there was no transparency on ICICI's part.

          Now i have been continuously receiving the calls from ICICI (latest being today i.e., 25th october 2008 by the collection manager of Sectror 8 branch rohini, delhi to my wife. he also used abusive language with me, his mobile number is [protected]).

          I have tried to approach the ICICI authorities numerous times but to no avail.
          I have sent the mails also but they don't pay a heed to it.

          may i request you to help me come out of this agony.

          Threatning Call from ICICI Bank Credit Card Department, Rohini.

          I have received a call from Mr. Suresh Gupta, Rohini, New Delhi[protected] who is working in ICICI Bank Ltd, Credit Card Collection Dept., Rohini main branch. He called me yesterday (24th Feb 2009) morning and told me to return the payment slip (C[protected], RBI has rejected the payment. If I will not return the payment slip then Mr. Suresh Gupta will bounce my cheque with any xyz reason and a case of Section 138 will be apply on me. He clearly mentioned over the phone that he will not take any responsibility of this case.

            Sir,
            My Account No.[protected] Saving Account . I opened Account
            Through Cheque 5000/= Minimum Balance Scheme. But now they deducted 978/- Amount on dated 20 Oct -08 .when I called Customer Care they told me you not maintain your account as 10, 000/- Min balance. But i always maint 5000/= . Already i discussed executive.
            till date i called and launcehed complaint but no any action and my amount not credit.

            I fully agree with him. I always maintain minimum quarterly balance of Rs. 5000/- in my account no.[protected] in ICICI bank mayur vihar. I read in newspapers that ICICI bank minimum balance will be Rs. 10, 000 for new account holders and Rs. 5, 000 for the old ones. My account was very old in this bank since its merger with bank of madura. so I don;t bother about the add. After eights months I went to ICICI bank to get my balance checked, I was shocked that they deducted 843/- rupees four times from my account due to non-maintaing of minimum balance of Rs. 5, 000/- . Now, the balance in my account is only Rs. 2418/-when I contacted the branch, they told me to that you don't maintain a balance of Rs. 10, 000/- in your account We don't know. For the last one year I never get statment nor i get any information from the bank to maintain a balance of Rs. 10, 000. HOW IRRESPONSIBLE ARE THEY, Now, I told all my friends and relatives this story, they were also shocked to know this. They are all ready to close their accounts in that BLUDDY BANK.

            On 29 th aug 09 one elligal transaction of 33800/- is made by promod marutipuriya of maharashtra as per bank record through internet.
            i have done one complain with customer care .
            But still today i have not got any solutions from branch of icici bank, 9A phelps building canaught place, new delhi-110001

              i have deposited total loan amount of Rs 28000 + interest in 22 installment OF RS 1482 EACH THROUGH MY CHQ BOOK AND COLLECTION BRANCH SULTANPUR .THEY HAVE COLLECTED AN EXTRA AMOUNT OF RS 1250 AS BOUNCE CHARGE FROM ME WHICH IS WRONG THIS WAS THEIR FAULT THROUGH R NO. L[protected] DTD 28-06-07.
              THIS AMOUNT HAS TO BE RETURNE TO ME AND THEY HAVE TO GIVE ME NOC .AND I HAVE COMPLAINED PERSONALLY TO CCC LUCKNOW DTD 30-06-08 AND 25-09-08 BUT NO REPLY HAS BEEN GIVEN BY THEM .

                Dear Sir/Madam,

                Ref:D1/478202/3/NHMUM[protected]

                With reference to abovementioned subject, this is to inform you that I had taken housing loan from ICICI HOME FINANCE. Accordingly in the month end of August 2008 bank authority disbursed the total loan cheque.

                At the time of loan approval procedure neither bank authority explained me nor intimated in loan approval letter about payment of pre emi. At the time of loan approval bank authority collected three blank cheques from me. When I asked the reason for Blank chques bank authority replied me that it is for stop gap arrengment till ECS operates. But on 23.10.08 received letter which says that amount of Rs. 14933/- is outstanding as pre emi which is outstanding on 30.09.2008.

                Now here I surprised when I received abovesaid letter and bank authority deposited cheque, for to collect outstanding pre emi i.e. Rs.14933/-. Bank authority deposited above said blank cheque without my knowledge and the same cheque is bounced due to insufficient funds reason. Here bank authority intimated as per above said letter i.e. i have to pay cheque return charges Rs.200/- and late payment charges @2% p.m.

                Here i request to authority please take necessary action for the same.

                Collecting blank cheques is a difficulty, when the borrower is not told about the amount he has to maintain in his account as balance. Since Pre EMI is an industry practice, it is sufficient to inform the customer and collect the money with reasonable notice...Madhavan

                  the bank belives in punishing loyalty.

                  I have a home loan with ICICI bank. the rate of interest they r charging from me is higher compared to what they r offering to their new customers, by about 2 %.

                  on mailing the compalint the bank calls, yet they r not booking any complaints.

                  they are saying they are within RBI guidelines. is it so? they says the rate of interest is due to hike in PLR. what i have to say here is that the PLR is goverened by banks only. how govt will help here protecting customers.

                      I have opened RD A/C#[protected] in ICICI Bank Ltd., Gandhidham on 17-Sep-2007 for 1 year but today it's in overdue status and I am not getting my money back. I have been visiting Gandhidham branch since last more then 1 month but It has still not resolved my problem. Also when I talked with local branch manager today, he did not respond appropreately and he was ready to loose a customer like me. Their service is very poor and Gandhidham branch people commitment is very poor. For the value of Rs.2500 RD, I have to wait too long for the closure. Please help to close this issue. By mistake I have deposited one installment of Rs.2500 extra so now total deposit is Rs.32500 instead of Rs.30000 so because of this mismatch they are not closing RD a/c and I am suffering so much right now. I have done many complains on ICIC Customer Care but there is no result till date. Your my only hope now. Please help.

                      Dear Sir,

                      We had issued ch.no. 559800 dtd. 28.03.09 of Rs.662/- in favour of J.M.Baxi & Co. We are doing regular transaction with your bank.We have full balance from date 28.03.09 to till date but your bank had bounced our cheque of the same due to reason of 29. Account Close.If we have balance and a/c. so why your banker were bounced my cheque. I m contact your gandhidham branch but no body answer me about this matter. Fyi J.M.Baxi Charges us cheque bouncing penalty of Rs.5000+10.30%(S.T.) due to your mistake and now we want refund of Rs.5000/- + Rs.515/- (S.T.) d.d. in favour of J.M.BAXI & CO. without fail by tomorrow.Otherwise we will take action on your bank for this kind of activities.

                      I have opened Demat in Kotat Securities Ltd., Allahabad UP. I have been visiting Allahabad UP branch since last more then 7 month but It has still not resolved my problem. Allahabad UP branch people commitment is very poor. I have to wait too long for the closure. Please help to close this issue. I am suffering so much right now. I have done many complains on in Kotat Securities Ltd Customer Care but there is no result till date. Your my only hope now. Please help.

                        Pls be informed that I have submitted my docs 22nd of august, 08 & I was committed that if all the documents of mine would be ok & Bank will consider my request as a genuine case then I shall be updated with in 7 working days & yes I received an acknowledgement SMS from your bank that you are considering the application & it has gone for further processing.

                        But when no update came from your side even after 2 weeks then I called up Mr. Sanjay & he start committed me that I shall come to know in one more week, but no update after further after one more week.

                        I called up Mr. Sanjay so many time to know at least my application status, but he never responded my calls, in between. After this entire incident I thought that perhaps Bank has rejected my application. Till the time it was OK for me, But Suddenly Sanjay Called up me after few days & again all verification get started & I also got an msg with an “ref no. 60378824”, when I crossed check, Bank had sanctioned a mount of 10 Lacs for me, under the above ref no. Even Mr. Sanjay was committing me that now every thing is in order & I shall have a confirmation letter from bank in next 3-4 days, After all this I finalized a property with a guaranteed deposition of INR 50000/-, Bank also visited that property, now I was told that only I 2-3 working days I will have a letter from Bank, but nothing is done from your side & its been more than 2 months now & now no one responding my calls, Mr. Sanjay Aggarwal is not ready to pick my calls, this condition is so problematic for me, now I am about to loss my INR 50000 that I have given to property owner.

                        During this more than 2 months I have gone through a great mental torture, because of the way your employee behaved & wastage of my more than two months, Beside that my hard earned money that has been given to Property owner. Here the Bank responsibility was to update me at least if your bank was not able to finalized loan amount which was sanction for me & this all was needed a long back, so that I may have gone through some alternative way.

                        Now ICICI bank will be liable for all time wastage, money loss, mental torture & so many things which are not explainable here.

                        The way ICICI dealt my case, shows how unprofessional is ICICI employees are & this all situation is pushing me to take YOU (ICICI BANK) to the CONSUMER COURT……………………

                          Sir I m credit card holder o[censored]r ICICI Bank with N: [protected]. Im regular user of this card & very prompt in payments. kindly refer to my last complaint, U have reversed late payment fee of Rs 400/- + tax total Rs 449.44/- for delay payment of Rs100/- just because o[censored]r admn fault, as I have received the statement after due date of payment. That Rs100/- is also paid already. Today I received a statement in which late payment fee +tax =Rs 449.44/ reversed is shown. but again late payment fee +tax+ser tax=Rs461.64/- is shown. what it is & why?. Ur all dues are paid. even then what is the previous balance of Rs561.42/- Its all just a torture& harrassement to me.Kindly intervene in the matter & reverse all the due amt Rs573.62/- shown in Oct 18.2008 statement. Its my kind request & please tell me whether I should continue to be a credit card holder o[censored]r ICICI bank or to discontinue? It is a big question before me. U can verify my promptness in payment. Kindly do the needful &wave off all dues.

                          I am Virender Kr Ahuja, not agree with the transaction on 9th march, i authrised 85$us on 9th march, 09, on that date dollar value was 49.3 INR, so amount is 4190.5 Rs, As per the statement from the customer care of ICICI, 3.5% will be charged as a conversion rate, its almost 150 Rs, so the total amount should be 4340 Rs, But In my statement the amount charged 4600 RS, So please adjust the accordingly, and do the needful.

                          Could be because the reversals are processed after due date of the next bill.

                          Just call the call centre; they will consider the same for a waiver.

                          Please note that these are automated charges & once you approach bank for it, rather that cribbing here, your concerns will be resolved .

                          Not a big deal, will take max 10 minutes, call early in morning to avoid call volume.

                            I'm a credit card holder of ICICI bank. My card no. is 5176 xxxx xxxx xxxx. An unauthorized Transactions was done dated 29/04/2008 on my card account.

                            The details are:
                            Merchant Name - TATA SKY LTD.
                            Transaction Date - 29/04/2008
                            Transaction Amount - 1500.00
                            Service Request (SR) No. - SR64994608.

                            I was informed by customer Care unit that my complaint will be resolved within 60 days. I continuously contacted with customer care unit by phone and e-mail. Again they told me that complaint will be resolved within 90 days. My complaint is under processing. It is going more than 5 months and my complaints has not been resolved yet. In between these days also false deposit was happend. I deposit 2 months as asked to pay the minimum amount. The day one when I complained, I told to resolve my issue and settle my account.

                            My card has been blocked in the month of May 2008. Neither I'm getting card facility nor the complaint has been resolved. Interest is increasing day by day. The amount became too much which I'm unable to pay at a time at present.
                            When I contacted by phone or email, everytime I'm told that my complaint is under processing and issue will resolved soon.

                            Please suggest how this will be resolved. Whether what I have to go for further processes.

                              i hold a credit card of ICICI bank which i got against the Fixed Deposit with ICICI Bank, i have cleared all outstanding dues and now i want to withdraw the amount of Fixed Deposit but i am unable to do so because it is showing a lien on my credit card i had requested twice and its been more than 15 days but still the lien is not removed from my credit card and hence i am not able to withdraw the amount from my fixed deposit account
                              I WAS HOLDING A CREDIT CARD IN 2004 AND THIS IS BEEN SURRENDERED WITH CLEARED ALL THE PAYMENTS. BUT AGAIN SUDDENLY ICICI HAS CAME WITH A 15742/- BILL AND MY ACCOUNT IS LEAN, I AM IN VERY CRITICAL POSITION AND THERE IS NO SOURCE OF INCOME CURRENTLY,
                              IS ANYBODY WILL RESPOND HOW I CAN COME OUT FROM THIS AND CONTINUE TO REMOVE THE MONEY FROM MY SB A/C? I HAVE TRIED TO CONTUCT WITH THERE LEGAL DEPT THRU MAIL BUT THERE IS NO REPLY FROM THEM.
                              I HAVE PAID THIS TO ONE OF THERE RECOVERY AGENT ON 2005 AND GOT THE RECEIPT ACCORDINGLY, UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE LOST THAT RECEIPT AND FACING THIS ISSUE.

                                Premature Closure of FD

                                FD Account Number :[protected].
                                I had taken an FD with ICICI bank for Rs 3 Lakhs on 04 Aug 2007.The same is due for maturity on 10 Jan 2010. The above FD was taken by me through net banking request and as such no FD receipt was issued.
                                On 15 Oct 08, i made an on line request for premature closure of the FD vide reference number SR8280007.
                                To this i got an SMS saying that nothing can be done on my request since the FD...

                                Dear Sir/Mam

                                I have not been intimated about the Rs.10000 quarterly average balance maintenance and the amount has been duducted from my account.
                                When I tried to complain about it to the ICICI bank customer care, I was not given the concrete answer from the customer service associate named 'Pareesh'. Moreover, the call was disconnected suddenly, giving me a huge embarrassment that I am the customer of ICICI Bank. I did not receive any mail regarding the increase in the quarterly average balance. Earlier also, the money has been fraudulently taken out of my account and when i asked the Manager ICICI Bank to look into the matter, I got the lackadaisical attitude from him. There are 2 issues pending and that is why i have stopped depositing the money in my ICICI's account.
                                One customer will not affectit inded but one dissatisfied customer surely will.

                                I am carrying my salary account with ICICI bank from approx. one year back, I had Rs.17000 out of which, I have withdraw rs.10000 from IDBI bank Gwalior, but it was unable to process, I tried again then I got same amount since previous transaction has been cancelled simultaneously I received the statement slip stating that an amount of 7000 is exist in account, but after one day when I went to withdraw the rest amount it is revealing there is no amount more over account is on Rs. -3000,
                                Pls Note -- Statement slip states that amount 10000 has been withdraw two time since it was only one time transaction.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I tried withdrawing my SBI savings account from ICICI bank. It showed the transaction cannot be processed, and next day I see in my SBI online.. that the 1100, I tried withdrawing and couldn't as withdrawn. Whom to we take this issue to the blasphemy of ICICI atm's and get refund of our hard earned lost money !!!

                                  I was working with ICICI Bank ( on the role of I-Process).i resigned from the job in October 2007.I have applied for my PF and i got my PF form duly signed and stamped from the I-process office in Delhi .I have fwd the PF form to the Regional PF office Khandelwali West in Mumbai on 24th june 2008.Till date i have not received my funds .I have tried to check the status on the PF web site but they require the Establishment code which according to the stamp on my form is 47808, but the it is not accepted..Kindly assist .

                                    This is Shubham Ghosh from Mumbai. Yesterday while going back home, I went to an ICICI ATM to withdraw money. I was surprised to see the bank has cut Rs. 910 as QAB charges. Why suddenly this has happened I have no clue. How the bank could charge such an amount with prior information? How can they take away someone else's hard-earned money? I will take steps if the bank does not explain the basis of such action.

                                    Yesterday (10/06/2008) When I check my Account, I found that Rs.690/- Deducted from my Account .

With out any prior notice bank deducted 843 Rs from my savings acc and on the top of that no clue or reason available why it did like that. It is not fair.                                     I saw a 843 rupees charged to my saving account as QAB charges. I am not recieving any response from the level1, 2 and 3. Is there a way to take this bank for a ride? This bank is a big headache to everyone. Unfortunately nobody else has that wide coverage in India.

                                    Same thing has happened with me. ICICI bank has been deducting Rs.843 for four times in the year 2008 without any prior information. As I am stationed at Denmark and my account is at Gurgaon, India I am not able to visit the bank personally. Customer Care Help desk people are big duffers and they do not know anything and neither they make efforts to explain about the deductions.
                                    Inspite of maintaining a balance of Rs.5000/- in my saving account these cheats are continuously deducting money from my account.

                                    This is ridiculuos. ICICI has no right to take away our hard-earned money so easliy. The policies of the bank should be clear and transparent so that we can decide to go for it or not. If ICICI dont expain clearly about the QAB charges then we need to take some action regarding this. I think RBI is sleeping so that this private sector people are enjoying the money of common people. This is disgusting. I am no longer with this stupid bank.                                     This act by ICICI bank is nothing short of daylight robbery. I was debited Rs 843 as QAB charges inspite of mine being a zero balance account. When I called up the customer service, they gave a stupid excuse that my account status was not maintained as a zero balance account. They first asked me to get my account status updated as a zero balance account after which they told they will revert back this amount.
                                    However, I am really doubtful that the amount will be reverted back. Let's all use this forum here to take this issue to Consumer forum and make sure that we teach ICICI bank a lesson.

                                    I called the customer care which is again not a toll free number but any ways explained the whole issue to about 5 customer representatives at last after spending about 250rs for mobile bill for speaking to ICICI rep and waiting for at least on hold for 2hrs finally they reverted the charges on a condition that I would maintain 10k as a quarterly balance
                                    but now to my surprise they have again fooled me by debiting 910rs saying that QAB charges
                                    so I asked them procedure to close the a/c, again the funny thing is they said I would be charged another bludi 750rs for closing charges
                                    this is my humble request to all people reading this if at any point of time if you ever think of opening an a/c in ICICI please think TWICE, THRICE as its very obvious that your hard earned money is in big danger ...ie; a person keeps money in bank so that he can get interest but here it works vice versa invest money + pay QAB charges = Total loss (common man fooled)

                                    Also I was using an ATM card, for which i was never charged a fee. The ATM card suddenly became non-functional and i was forced to take a new card. Since the new card comes as ATM cum Debit card. I forced to take the same. On receiving the ATM cum Debit card, I was charged a sum of Rs.109/= in the begining itself.

The bank (ICICI) was great in 2003-04, everything was fast and reliable. great access to ATM and warmth of associates, Now since from 2007 onwards the charm went away. there is no proper response by your associates and they are not interested to deal with the customer
                                    2. I went through lot of pain to get the house loan from ICICI in year 2005-06. I spent at least one month follow-up with your people but finally I was denied even after great eligibility. Look at HDFC, within one week they processed my loan and everything is fine with the HDFC

There are no pins placed at ATM machine since last six months, most of the ATMs in India are without pins, I was searching pins to put cheque and slip together so that I can put this in the crop box. Your security guard says that our bank (ICICI) not providing pins ("Bhikh lag gayi hai bank ko"), all customers are in trouble since from last 6 months. Your officers will not report this problem to you as they may be in fear of being sacked, they will provide only goodi goodi picture to you on power point slides but will never tell the VOC.
                                    8. Your bank maintains 5-S but now the situation is pathetic, most of the times there is no inventory (Payment packets, slips, system downs, hang-ups, no money in ATM, software bugs in ATM)
                                    9. Loan processing to loyal customer like me is very dirty. Since from last 7 years I was not able to get any loan, where as other banks - SBI and HDFC have provided me the loan of Rs.7, 00, 000/- and which I have repaid it ( You will get the proof in writing if needed), but the sad story with ICICI, even if I have all the Savings and Salary account with this bank and I am LOYAL to ICICI (Other policies are also from ICICI, I have never gone to other banks for policy) still I am not able to get the loan

I suggest that you must look in to the LOYAL customers of your bank, otherwise the day is not far that your corporation will ruin due to web and personal feedbacks from your own customers.                                     i am account holder of your bank from around feburary, 2008.
                                    my account was opened with reference to my account trading account in SHAREKHAN as zero balance.
                                    and sir, zero balance means zero balance.
                                    so, my account balance used to be around 5k to 2k for around 1 year.
                                    Suddenly, when i deposited around 20k in my account ur bank debited rs 827/- from my account saying it is because of not maintaining quartely balance.
                                    When i talked to the customer care of ICICI bank, they say, that your account is converted to rs 10000 minimum balance.

                                    I have a saving account in state bank of Saurashtra, Bapungar branch with the name of Mahendra Bhaskarbhai Devre. I have a savings bank account (minimum balance 500 at the time of account opening) and on 01/12/2008 my balance was 590/-.
                                    My account was opened as a salary account. I had switched to other company. So I need to open a salary account in SBI. There is no salary credited in state bank of Saurashtra account.
                                    On January 18,2010 when I checked my account position, its showing a debit of Rs. 590/- from my account without my knowledge. I did not withdraw cash through slip. When I met the bank person, he told me that amount debited for new cheque book charges from your account.
                                    For your knowledge I have note applied for cheque book. And I will not received cheque book till now.

                                    Kindly do the needful for crediting of Rs. 590/- back into my account at the earliest...

                                    YOU have to maintain a monthly average balance, which is different for different category of account. This is called QAB and calcualted using your daily balance for every 90 days . FOr some accounts the charges are :

                                    service tax : 93/- @12.35%.

                                    ICICI — Deducting money for no valid reason

                                    ICICI bank is engaging in cheap methods to deduct money from customers account.

                                    On three ocassions in July a total amount of INR 750+ was debited from deposits made into my account as charges.

                                    1) The depositor was not informed that I will not get the complete amount he is depositing else he would not have made the deposit.
                                    2) I was not informed by SMS/Mail that charges will be deducted from these deposits else I would have stopped the depositor.

                                    I had simultaneous deposits made into my HDFC account and HDFC did not charge anything for out off city deposits.
                                    I checked with my friends and found that none of them have any such charges levied by their banks or have even heard of such charges.

                                    I find these charges to be a breach of my trust on ICICI and requested them to reverse these.
                                    However ICICI bank's customer care being what it is says that they will reverse only one and will not return the balance INR 500.
                                    Although I do not find these charges as justified, I said that I will take care on my side to avoid them in the future and requested them to reverse the balance 500. however to no avail.

                                    I had heard rumours last year about the bank going bankrupt and had still stuck with the bank, however cases like these make me feel that probably the bank is actually in bad state as it is trying to steal money from its customers.

                                    QAB is just that- quarterly average balance. its calculated by adding the end of day balance for all the ninety days and then dviding it by ninety. If its less than the required amount then God save you because these banks are known to employ sales agents who lie about the method of calculation and fine for AQB when opening a new account. I think there should be a compulsary declaration required by RBI that reflects all the charges in honest and transparent manner.

                                      Kindly note that all the general savings account holders are required to maintain Average Quarterly Balance of Rs.10000 with effect from July 01, 2008. Hence. Average Quarterly Balance requirement for July 2008 - September 2008 will be Rs.10, 000, failing which customers will be charged in the month of October 2008 with non-maintenance charges.

                                      ICICI bank SB account — deducted money from SB account without any instruction from customer and without justification

                                      In the month of February 2008 ICICI Bank has deduscted Rs.59, 000/- from my SB account as I could not pay credit card dues for 3-4 months due to personal problems. ICICI bank representative was in touch with me during those crisis period of mine and finally I resumed paying in the month of November 2007. In between without my knowledge and instruction they had imposed and freezed some heavy amount of Rs.65, 000/- in my account and thats during when I already started paying, after getting harassed in everyway by various officials of the bank and escalating the matter to Mr.K.V.Kamath, so called CEO of that bank who doesn't have the guts to come back to a customer with any justification, they finally deducted the money from my account without my written or verbal or any instruction. I am filing a suit against the bank and taking very strongly with RBI also this case. Want to take ICICI Bank for a task for this.
                                      You have to be very carefull with ICICI.
                                      I Dont use ICICI Credit card. Thank God.
                                      Once 48K was deducted from my account by ICICI. When I asked for the reason, they told me that, its a computer mistake and they credited back.
                                      I am really scared of ICICI.
                                      Anyway, it is a good practice to go thru the monthly statement line by line and check.

                                      ICICI Bank Credit Card — USURIOUS BANKING PRCTICES

                                      I have been maintaining this credit card (ICICI BANK BIG BAZAAR CARD) account relationship with ICICI bank for quite some time but this card has not been very actively used for quite sometime. Whenever it has been used, prompt payment has been done.
                                      But, there has been one such transaction which happened in year Mar’2007 for which payment was done in April’ 2007 after receiving call from ICICI BANK call centre. The ICICI BANK call centre personnel informed me the outstanding amount of Rs. 1000/- in total (for a transaction for which I never received the Credit Card statement).
                                      The ICICI BANK call centre personnel informed me that I have to make a full and final payment of Rs. 1000/- for a transaction incurred on this Card.
                                      Hence, I checked the details and made the payment of Rs. 1000/- which was debited to my account. The details of the debit are as under:

                                      There was a surprise in store for me when I contacted ICICI Bank telebanking executives for cancellation of my additional cards which are issued unsolicited by ICICI Bank. They informed me that there is an outstanding against this card. They were not even willing to give the details. They told if I need previous un-received statements, I need to pay for each statement.
                                      I was further shocked to see the latest statement which has been an example of not banking but USURY.
                                      As per the latest statement I am supposed to pay over
                                      Rs. 8, 000/-.
                                      In this connection, I request the BANK to clarify the following:
                                      1. I fail to understand when I have paid in full for the transaction done by me, why there is any outstanding against my Card a/c.
                                      2.Why the bank is not sending the Credit Card statements in time?
                                      3.If the Bank says, I haven’t paid in full, then how and why the ICICI Bank Call centre personnel is giving erroneous information about amount outstanding and the full and final payment supposed to be made by me. Is this a ploy to trap people unaware and then practice USURY instead of banking?

                                      I am also facing the similar problem with ICICI. My account also has been debited with same amount on the same day and i was never informed about this. At the moment, i am in CANADA and i use this account for fund transfer to INDIA.icici has my email address. they never mailed me. If they can mail me the statement why can't they approch us for written concern.
                                      i would appriciate ICICI if they revert the charges for me also, other wise i will also terminate this service with ICICI.

                                      ICICI bank SB account — ICICI Bank debited SB account without my approval or knowledge

                                      ICICI bank has debited an amount of Rs. 1000 from by SB account without my knowledge on Nov 14, 2008. On enquiring repeatidly and following-up through emails and personally visiting their branches for more than 45 days, I was finally informed that the amount was debited from account as some discrepancy was found in the cash of Rs. 5.6 L deposited by me personally at the bank's counter on Nov. 8, 2008. On further enquiring about the discripancy, I was told through mail (Trail ail below for reference) that 10 notes of 100 were found mutilated and I may collect the same from my home branch in Ajmer whereas I am based in Delhi.

                                      A surprising explanation from the bank which completely took away whatever little trust I was having on ICICI Bank. How can bank raise discripancy issues on cash deposits after 6-7 days of the deposit actually made across the counter where each and every currency note was checked by the bank before giving me the receipt and crediting to my account. Now that the currency note bundles are not stappled/sealed, the same can be very easily tampered with at bank's end for which a good customer like me suffers and gets harressed. This seems to be a case of nefficiencies at ICICI Bank being passed-on to customers like me.

                                      It is so unethical and unprofessional for a Bank like ICICI to adopt such practices.

                                      Request help and advice on how the matter should be taken-up with ICICI so that the amount is credited back to my account and ICICI takes a corrective step and provides an explanation.

I fail to understand what could be the discripency when the cash was deposited by me across the counter and your executive at the counter had twice verified the deposited cash (thru machine as well as manually) before confirming the transaction and crediting the amount in my a/c. Once the cash has been deposited at the counter, discripency, if any, is due to Bank's or its employee's fault for which the only the Bank is liable. Such debiting of amount without any intimation and just reason is unethical and may lead to breach of trust and further action.

                                      Request you to kindly get the said amount of Rs. 1000 credited back to my account under written intimation and explanation to me in next 2 days.

                                      ICICI Bank — Quarterly Charges

                                      I am a musician since 2002 and I opened a savings account in ICICI during 2003. At that time the bank said savings account eligibility is to maintain Rs.5000 balance minimum. Later since 2006 I came Mauritius and staying here. The bank has renewed its rules in 2007 july that Rs.10000 minimum balance should be maintained but I was not aware of it as I am in Mauritius. My balance was approximately 6, 500Rs at that time. Now throught internet I checked I noticed they have levied nearly Rs.3, 300/ from my savings account as Quarterly Average Balance charges. This is not justice at all. How can they suddenly change their rules. I am not able to deposit any funds from here till today. My very hard earned money is going like this. I am really hurt by ICICI Bank. They could have atleast block the account in order to make their customers maintain minimum balance. But taking the customer's money in this way that too so much high charges are not acceptable.

                                      ICICI Bank Credit Card — UN FAIR CHARGES

                                      Sub: Wrong debits by ICICI Bank despite their customer care agreeing to waive off - consequent multiplying o[censored]ndue charges, Credit Card No. 4477 XXXX XXXX 4009;

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have used above credit card since May, 2006 paying all dues on time as per card statement received by me. The August 2007 Card statement did not reach me. Thereafter
                                      a series of debits on a usurious pattern have been put on my card statement by Bank.

                                      I have paid all usage charges regularly on time and there are no dues on my card on this account. The amounts being shown as due (above Rs. 50,000.00) have arisen due to wrong charges initially agreed to be waived off by the authorized executives of the Bank but not waived in actual fact.

                                      I therefore pray that these wrong and unjustified charges be cancelled and the Bank be directed to desist from indulging in usurious practices and unjustified threats to me and I be compensated adequately and exemplarily for the mental sufferings and insults heaped on me by the Bank for no fault of mine.

                                      All my efforts to get this matter resolved through various levels of the bank have not succeeded. I am therefore approaching the Banking Ombudsman seeking justice and protection from the usurious and threatening practices of this large Bank as I find myself totally helpless despite the fact that I have done no wrong.

                                      On October 31, 2009 I met a Bank representative based at Nehru Place who invited me to meet him at his office. After understanding and even agreeing that I have been wronged, he expressed his inability to settle this matter as the amount had grown to a level beyond his powers and suggested that I approach Banking Ombudsman for a satisfactory redressal of the issue, only then the Bank would agree for a waiver even though it is justified. Therefore I am approaching you.

                                      Sequence of events are relater under and a comprehensive statement of all charges on my Credit Card, with details of payment and the unjustified additional debits which were agreed to be waived upon my contesting on each occasion, is attached.

                                      Sequence of events
                                      On or about October 9th, 2007 while paying for another card statement I remembered that the card statement of ICICI Bank had not reached me for some time so I called up their Customer Care to find out what are my card dues as I have not received any card statement. Upon finding out the dues from them I paid all dues on Oct 10, 2007.






                                      In the following month Oct 2007 Card Statement I discovered some late payment and interest charges. I called up their customer care objecting to the extra charges. The Customer care executive accepted my plea for late payment being due to non-delivery of card statement and agreed to waive the extra charges advising me to pay all usage charges and not pay the extra charges which he had waived off but would reflect in the following month’s statement. Accordingly I paid all usage charges within due date.

                                      In the next month (Nov 2007) card statement did not reflect any waiving off of the extra charges instead more additional charges as a consequence of the earlier extra charges were debited. I again contacted their Customer Care and they again agreed that there was an error and all extra charges would be waived off which would reflect in the following month’s card statement. Meanwhile they advised me to pay all the usage charges on time which I did within their due date (which is a matter of record).

                                      To my extreme surprise despite confirmation and assurances waived extra charges were never removed and the card statement for Dec 2007 was sent to me with all extra charges in place and to add insult to injury more/additional charges were added. There after the Bank made it a pattern to go on adding/debiting more charges to me.

                                      Written representations - I made several attempts to get this issue settled. I wrote to their Hyderabad office on 2 occasions and to their Mumbai office which is a matter of record but without any response from the Bank. (Copies of letters attached)

                                      Personal Visits - I visited their offices at Rohini on 3 to 4 occasions after due appointment but the executives at that level expressed their inability to settle the issue.

                                      Conciliation Proceedings - On October 07th, 2009 I received a ‘CONCILIATION NOTICE’ from the Bank advising me to attend conciliation proceedings on September 26, 2009 but I also got a call from them on September 25th so I personally visited their offices at their VIDEOCON Tower office at 1.30 PM with full set of documents pertaining to the issue. To my surprise however only a chowkidar was present there who advised me that all the Babus have left for the day at 1.00 PM.

                                      Serious objectionable calls from Bank Executives – Meanwhile, collection executives of the Bank stared calling me almost every day and at odd hours on my mobile phone in the evening or even on holidays. I strongly objected to these calls and explained to the callers that I have written in detail to the Bank and have personally visited their offices to settle the matter while I have paid all charges on account o[censored]sage of the card by me and they should first address the real issues and not bother me on phone specially when I am at important meetings or with my close relatives and friends on holidays.












                                      Threats of dire consequences –if I did not pay what the Bank is showing as due, these executives threatened me of dire consequences and my credit standing would be spoiled damaging my credit rating for all times to come etc and that I am enjoying life with Banks money although my card was blocked by the Bank unilaterally without any notice to me.



                                      An early action will be highly appreciated as it would save me from extreme mental sufferings, loss of face and loss of mental peace due to threats from Banks executives.

                                      Due date of payemnt of my credit card was 8th april. And I got the cheque dropped by 7th april into atm drop box.

                                      In due course of time i came to know about charges on late payments and interest.

ON SCRUTNISING MY ACCOUNT I HAVE FOUND THAT TOTAL RS. 4994/-ON DIFFERENT DATES HAVE BEEN DEBITED FRM MY ACCOUNT AS QAB CHARGES.I HAVE OPENED THIS ACCOUNT THROUGH MR MUKESH KUMAR(ICICI BANK REPESENTATIVE) AND HE TOLD ME THAT THIS IA SPECIAL ACCOUNT FOR LADIES ONLY HAVING ZERO BALANCE FACILITY AND FOR THE ONE AND HALF YEAR BANK DID NOT DEUCT ANY CHARGES BUT LATER ON WITHOUT GIVING ME ANY PRIOR INTIMATION BANK HAS STARTED DEUCTING THESE CHARGES.

                                      ICICI Bank — Debiting account without approvals or intimations

                                      I have taken Home loan from ICICI bank in 2006 the EMi per month is 8853, I missed 1 EMI in the month of April '10. Now ICICI loan recovery department is debiting my account without my approvals or authority and they till now have debited in total Rs.10,806.32 for 8853 emi. i was never been informed the for this emi the charges lieved were Rs. 1953.32. i lodged many complaints but no one has ever got back to me. everytime they make my balance Nil and my 34 cheques were bounced because of this.

                                      i want to lodge consumer complaint for same reason.

                                      ICICI Branch Free Banking — Related to Fixed deposit

                                      I have opened one FD in Branch free banking in the month of december-2010.Till date i have not received any record for that.

                                      While speaking to official they are telling that it will be done it is under process.

                                      I am asking them a commitment date but they are not answering that.

                                      Even rate of intrest they are not updating regularly other hand i have home loan in that without fail they are updating rates.

                                      ICICI — Amount Debited without approval

                                      AMOUNT DEBITED FROM MY WIFE'S ACCOUNT NO.[protected] WITHOUT APPROVAL AND CONVERTED INTO FIXED DEPOSITS.(Amount Rs.2.7 Lacs.).

                                      I WAS TOLD BY MUMBAI CELL THAT A TEAM OFFICER WOULD VISIT YOUR HOME ON NEXT SATURDAY AND DECISION WOULD BE TAKEN.

                                      TODAY I GOT SIX SMS SHOWING ENTIRE AMOUNT DEBITED AND CONVERTED INTO FIXED DEPOSITS.
