Washing Machine

We purchased a new washing machine but that is not working. Technician came to check and found the new machine to be faulty. The machine needs to be replaced, but there is no action happening from IFB side.
We are struggling everyday to follow-up with them but still there is no solution....

As my washing machine getting sound from past 1month I raised so many complaints regarding the issue till now the complaint not closed as I went to the service centre and asked about my problem he was very rude and using unparliamentary language with ladies and saying that he will sold that parts for money he will not service to the under warranty such a disgusting behaviour and he is wearing swamy mala which is shameful for the god. The worst behaviour I have never seen this behaviour before as I called to the ifb centre they didn’t resolved my problem till now his name is Srikanth Ellapanni ifb franchise, kovvur, Andhra pradesh.534350

    Continuous and repeated problem

    I want to highlight the issue with my washing machine. In less than 2 years, the washing machine has had issues 4 times. Please let me know whether this model is suitable for household use or if I need to replace it. My experience has been very bad.

    Water leakage

    When the washing machine is spinning water leaks from the bottom. This issue had happened before and technician told that there was issue with manufacturing and changed the tub (he told). But now, after 20 days, the water has started leaking again...

    We have raised a complaint AD451 with IFB for my front load washing machine. My machine was stopping abruptly while running, so one executive came from IFB third party service and said there is an issue with the motherboard and took it for repair for 2days but problem not solved. After multiple complaints one more technician came and did some soldering and charged ₹3, 500. But issue remains same. Now third party team is not responding even customer care team also not responding.

      Initially my IFB dishwasher stopped working due to issues with its heater. After repeated complaints and follow-up, the technician came and replaced the heating component (with 3 months warranty) and took the defective component with him (not sure why, no other company takes the defective component back). Then from that day (25 June 2024) the water started leaking from the bottom of the dishwasher. We have been following everyday since then with the service center executive Mr. Prince Pathak (Classic Enterprise, Navsari) as well as his senior Mr. Dileep. However both of them have been non responsive. Its been a month now and they don't even pickup our phone. The dishwasher is leaking so much that the botoom of the body is fully rusted now. This is the worst ever service I can expect from worst brand like IFB. It was a huge mistake buying IFB products under the perception that its still a brand what it used to be 10 years back. Can someone please help in this regard. I find it ridiculous that being a customer I have to followup for a month without any response from these people.

        urgent: ac repair request pending since 10 days

          I have ordered the Washing Machine from IFB industries through online on 18 April 2024. After 3 days their technical team visited our home for installation and informed us that the washing machine is a defect product and not to use and that will be replaced with a new one in a weeks time. After a week we have been following up with the technical team for the replacement on a daily basis. Initially they have told they will replace in 2-3 working days. After they have stopped responding to the calls. Whenever we call customer care, they say will replace it in 24-48 hours and that has never happened. Recently I have raised complaint and escalated throught ticket No;s - CB[protected], WA20264686 and WA20265082

          We are literally tired and frustrated following up with them.

              Hi IFB team,

              Quite unfortunate to raise a complaint on the service from a well-known washing machine brand in India, which is IFB. My washing machine is in warranty period and technician is shown very much unprofessionalism. Handling the washing machine not with care.

              Ticket # [protected] - The technician visited my home and told me that a spare part is required to get from IFB and the order takes 1 week. He told filter needed to be added with customer cost, de-scaling packets 5 worth 1000 INR and service charges 800 INR, and a few more. After that, he cancelled the ticket saying the customer did not respond. Trust me that we are following up with customer service every day almost, please check the records.

              I raised another service ticket # [protected] on 10th May for the same issue. The technician visited my home without prior information, and when the power was off at my home. He replaced the part and left without testing. And he closed the ticket. I don’t understand why IFB technicians are doing repairs when electricity is not there at home and closing the ticket without verifying whether the issue is fixed or not. While repairing, and handling the machine is ridiculous, we are not happy with the way he handles the machine. Another silly thing is, they are trying to cancel the ticket today.

              The customer service team same says they have escalated the issue and the technician will tomorrow. Every day I was required to stay at home without going to our regular work and waiting for his call. But the technician won’t attend. This is the practice that I have been making for the past 3weeks. I am not sure still how many days I need to wait for my washing machine to get repaired.

              May I expect a technician to fix the issue at the earliest?? Can be a senior technician who can handle the machine with care?

                I have raised a IFB washing machine repair service (IFB Ticket [protected]) on 24/04/2024, technician visited on 26/04/2024, and told that that part will be replaced, and he will come back within 2 days with parts and fix it. However, he did not visit, when I called him, he shared number of Mahaveer Singh (who is managing IFB service in Jodhpur). I called him, he said technician will in next 2 days with parts and fix it. Again, after two days when I called him, he asked to share pic of broken part on WhatsApp (even still he did not order or took any action on that). After two days when I called him again then, he acts like he is not aware about my issues, and asked to share technical number, who visited, I shared, now he is saying he is not our technician??? After a long discussion he said parts on order and issue will be resolved in 2 days. After two days no response, now When I called him (Mahaveer Singh) he just blocked my number, I am not able to connect him. I called to dealer, they just said we cannot do anything call customer care only. Even for last 15 days connecting with customer care not receiving any proper response. In last conversation with the customer care representation, then connected with me Mahaveer Singh, even on call he was rude and not responding properly. Customer care representative saying we cannot do anything we connected you with him, now you can contact him directly??? they are not even taking any responsibility, just saying issue will be resolved properly. I am just mentally disturbed and harassed, washing clothes for last 15 days by hands. I have made a mistake by purchasing IFB product.

                  I requested for a AC servicing on 3rd April (free service as product was under warranty) from IFB. At the time registering for service, the customer care guys told to check company id's of the AC servicing guys. I was told to reject the service if they had no company id. When the AC service guys came they had no company id, so i sent the guys back and asked them to send guys with proper ids. Even after repeated escalation(around 4-5) they didn't send anyone. Eventually they sent other people but they also didn't have company ids with them. But seeing no hope of not getting any other persons to do the servicing, I allowed them to do the servicing.

                  But the AC service guys did their work very poorly. Proper cleaning was not done. On requesting to do proper cleaning, they said that in free service you please expect only this much.

                  But I didn't give them the code to close the ticket. TIll date, i.e., 9 May apart from email conversations(occassionly) IFB has not even bothered to take interest in resolving my issue. They even haven't offered to redo my servicing.

                  IFB is more concerned about money than customer satisfaction

                    Our washing machine is senorita aqua 5x 6.5 kg front load. Now machine is not working properly. So your technician is telling to replace Drum along with rubber and one more part (I forgot its name) is it so? Is it not possible to use the old rubber which is in usage?
                    01 Now my question is what are the parts to be compulsorily replaced along with drum?
                    02 Three months back your technician had brought and replaced the said machine motor for 4000 Rs. is it correct price?
                    your technicians always bring spare parts with sealed cover which does not have MRP on the cover. so that they can cheat both the customer and the company. How can we come to know the price of the spare parts.
                    please let me know all these . I'm waiting to get my machine repaired immediately as soon as I get answer from your side.

                      We had marked a complaint as resolved after the CEO intervened on our request that was ongoing for months,
                      but today Ms NUPUR SINHA, head of IFB social media team was found COVERING UP for her team's REPEATED UNETHIHCAL CONDUCT by BLOCKING reviewers/comments reviewing IFB on social media, DISOCNNECTING CALLS RUDELY and NOT CALLING BACK
                      This OVER MONTHS

                      Further, Ms NUPUR SINHA herself was found encouraging the same by DELIBERATELY evading transparency for motives that can only be SUSPECT even though we offered our time to help her with being transparent, on a platter. She is clearly and deliberately part of the problem

                      We wonder HOW such practices are STILL being allowed AFTER we brought them to the attention of PRUTHIRAJ PRADHAN who assumed charge on behalf of the CEO Mr RAJSHANKAR RAY?

                        Actually the issue started on feb 11, we have issue with the washing machine and we booked service slot by calling service center number.2 guys with ID card vistied our home and did service and charged 2890 and let.Now on 10 march we have the issue again and another guy visited and our home and stating that the previous guys are not from our franchise, we terminated them 6 months. And now again they are charging service charge and forcing us to close the service ticket.they are really rude and irresponsible.IFB ticket:[protected].and charging 890 instead of 590.
