Dear Sir//Ma'am,
I Shabeer Ahmed given my Micromax mobile, model no; Q 462,
IMEI NO.1: [protected], IMEI NO.2: [protected].
to your authorized service centre, Mobi Tech – Kadaperi, Tambaram, for a change of
Touch and Display AND housing to be replaced due to its mal functioning on29.12.2017 bearing Job no.(receipt no .812).
For the replace of the same the service center demanded Rs. 2800/= for which upon enquiring at velachery service center they had quoted Rs.2500/= only for the same and upon enquiring as to if only touch could be replaced, they replied that such a replacement is not possible for this particular model (Q 462) as it comes as one single fused unit.
Now, after this I went about enquiring with other few local reputed service centers above the same for which all their feedback was the same as that of velachery service center, which was also confirmed by the service technicians at Kadaperi, Mobi Tech.
Now Kadaperi, Mobi Tech. tecnicians agreed to discount they labour charges and charge Rs.2400/= for the replacement of the mentioned unit including the back housing. Advance of Rs. 1000/= was paid stating that they would replace the unit within 7 to 8 days. I received a call On 4.1.2018 to collect the mobile, which I collected the next day on 5.1.2018 after making the balance payment of Rs.1400/= against receipt no. 902.
On inspecting the mobile I discovered that the touch screen has lots of scratches on the screen. When I showed it to the technicians (Ms. Ramya), they replied that, I had requisted for only replacement of touch screen and back housing, which generally comes in such state only ( with scratches).
Now their statement is totally denying the rest of the original statement as to the inseperatability of the touch screen and display unit.
I sternly demand an explanation to the above dispute and my mobile to be rectified and issued as per initialy agreed

As I have spent rs.2400 on it which is not a negligible amt. I request your goodself
to take an appropriate action at the earliest and get my instrument set right.
