delay in renewal of passport

I had submitted my passport for renewal on[protected] vide File No-G001560 dated[protected] by depositing the applicable fee of Rs.1000/-. Till date the needful is yet to be done and on enquiry, the status of the same is being informed as "pending for police verification". I have made several visists to the passport office requesting them to expedite the renewal of my pass port as I have to go abroad with my husband for some time...

I do not why I am not even getting an answer. I do not know why officers do not to listen to us. Below is the communication with the authority.

Once again my police verification was done on Depawli and the status was shown on the web more than one and a half months ago.

Acceptance of Passport Application in Delhi region whereas Iam resident of Gurgaon

Dear Sir /Madam,

Status not showing, passport delayed

I had applied for my passport in May, 2009 from district passport cell, Faridabad. The police inquiry is done too. But i have not received my passport, neither the status is visible on the site. Wrong date of birth in passport

I was issued a passport no.H2957225 on 22/01/2009 valid upto 21/01/2019.The file no. is DLHA04386308. The date of birth mentioned on the passport is 09/03/1963 whereas the actual date of birth is 09/03/1968. The birth certificate with the correct date of birth was submitted along with the other passport documents.Kindly advise the procedure for rectification of the date of birth....

Carelessness by passport department to get processes

Dear Sir/Madam
Greetings!
I applied for renewal of my passport which got expired. The application was submitted on 1st May2009. I got one of communication on 5th Aug 2009 that passport office required marriage certificate as per Annexure-D of the Passport information booklet attached to Form I, while I am Male and Male not supposes to fill required form. Tatkaal Passport sent from RPO, but not received even after 10 days.

I had applied for a passport under Tatkal scheme (which assures me a passport within 1 to 7 days of application) on 7th July, 2009 and I have not received my Passport yet, as on 18July, 2009.

The status of my Passport on the website as well as the SMS status enquiry says "Passport has been despatched by post on[protected] vide postal Registration Number 142820".

I called up the Post Office to enquire...

unnecesary delay in renewal of passport

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had applied for renewal of my passport on dt. 17.03.08 under ref no.F006955 along with my brother's passport which he had received back long back, But till today i am waiting of my renewed passport.

In both applications we share the same address and other details, as well as police enquiry had been made by same officer, No FIR & any case is pending/going on in any Police station...
