This is to bring to your notice that i along with my family was travelling to mumbai from delhi via spice jet flight no. Sg8169 on the 2nd december 2019. On arrival at the mumbai, my check - in suitcase was missing. This undoubtedly came as a rude shock to me as it had belongings which were important and expensive lehengas, as we were returning from my sisters wedding. I immediately followed the regular procedure and filed a complaint of my missing bag which your airline was unable to locate.
It was appalling that, in an airline of your caliber, a bag should go missing, causing severe inconvenience to me. Despite that, your staff has shown absolutely no cooperation and hardly any follow up has happened. I am absolutely aghast at the laxness and unprofessionalism of your organization.

This has reference to Baggage Irregularity Report No. 81886 submitted / reported yesterday at IGI International Airport after I did not receive one of my laggage after arriving from Jeddah to Delhi in SG-103, PNR -J9RPQS, dated 20.02.2023 at 11.55 PM. 
Details of luggages and report

I received only one luggage and reported loss of one. Details of luggage are:
One blue with black strips trolly bag consisting of clothes. As is required the cost of bag shall be ₹4000/- and that of clothes inside ₹15000/-.
The bag is having a small manual lock, the key of the same is with me.

I am trying to get the information with regard to my lost language from the contact no. [protected], which I have been provided to confirm the status, after lodging the report. But no one is responding / picking up the call. 
Now I once again request your good self to kindly do the necessary at the earliest, as I am very hard pressed and needs it immediately.
An early action in this regard shall be highly appreciated.

    Dear spice jet, yesterday i fly from dehradun to ahmedabad @7,.30 on, when i land in ahmedabad i came to know that my luggage is left in dehradun। this is second time with me, still i am not getting my luggage which contains my important luggage so please make a call and i am planning to go in consumer court।

      I was traveling from mumbai to kolkata on 2 nd morning 00:35 hrs by your flight. It got delayed by 45 minutes and gates were being changed frequently. So much so it was changed from gate 45 to gate 1 at t2 departure lounge in mumbai which is almost 1 km.
      Now i had some injured leg for which i had little difficulty in walking as it was getting painful.
      When i approached ground staff at fate as he declared his name kaustav, he was very rude and seemed he could not provide any help phone number etc.. With another aged lady too when asked to give contact number of battery driven cars.. He was not helpful and kind at all while passengers were facing difficulty.

      Now delay for technical reasons are acceptable but bad un polite behaviours are not..

      He could have easily called airport manager and arrange the same. He refused he wasn't in helful mood at all. To another aged lady too.

        lost baggage not resolves

        We flew from kolkata to new delhi on dec 2 2019. But one of our baggage was left in kolkata airport because the staff at the check-in desk did not tag our baggage! The customer service people at the delhi airport promised us to send over our baggage on the next flight later in the afternoon and then have the baggage delivered to our hotel in new delhi on the same night, but that didn't happen.         I boarded a flight(flight no: SG531) from Ahmadabad to Bangalore on December 1, 2019 which departed at 22:05.
        I was not happy with baggage handling so, I went below the flight and cautioned the crew while boarding the flight to handle the luggage safely, even although after arrival, my duffel bag's shoulder strip was found cut .Some of our items in bag was damaged . My damage cannot be compensated .

          I requested and paid for a ticket on a specific flight over the spicejet counter in madurai on the 30th october 2019. The spicejet agent booked a ticket on the wrong flight instead and when i requested for this to be corrected they asked for more money and refused to refund my money there and then although it was spicejet’s fault. After “senior management” been involved i was told that i would have to wait for 14 days before i see the refund back on my card and that if i want to fly, i would have to purchase another more expensive flight. That left me with no money at the time and although it has been over a month now, 2nd december 2019, i still have not got my money back. I had to call from abroad which incurred further charges to speak to another spicejet agent, who told me that my refund is still pending as “senior management” has to approve and process it and that i would have to wait for another 14 days. Spicejet has been using my money, 10, 104.00 inr, for over a month now without any reason and they have been only unhelpful and disrespectful on every encounter.

            I had booked the sg6442 from goa to mumbai on 30th nov'19, scheduled to depart at 10.55 pm. But there was a sudden announcement made at 10.17 pm that the flight is delayed for more than an hour and will now leave at 12.30 am. As a known fact, dabolim airport, goa is about hour and half drive from anywhere in goa & thus we had reached the airport at 7 pm itself to avoid any traffic congestion as it was a weekend. My husband & i were travelling with my mom in law age 80 and my two kids age 11 & 12. We were stranded at the airport for more than five hours. The airlines should have atleast arranged for meals & refreshments for the passengers as it was very late already & everyone cannot afford to eat at the airport malls. I feel spicejet should be more responsible towards the comfort of their passengers.

              Dear spicejet,

              Complain regarding pnr no sg-8561 which was going from delhi to coimbatore @ 7:55 am but my flight got missed due to misguidance & negligency done by staff of spicejet available at airport in customer help centre & at boarding pass centre.

              I have carry my self boarding pass in my hand & i reached at airport on time & asked from customer help desk of spice jet about boarding passes then they will communicate me the counter "p" in terminal 3 and when we run that way we have found that there is no counter available there & when we come again then we found the spice jet counter at "b" column and then time was 7:15am but borading staff denied to provide baording pass and suggest to go at higher facilities & discuss when we reached there time was 7:20am but the lady available at counter doesn't provide any support even i am trying to convincing her that lots of time waste due to mis guidance of spicejet staff but she can't help and understand our problem. I told her that this flight is very much neccesary to board for us there is urgency but she did not support to us where the time was available with us approx 35 mins to board the flight but we have faced so much difficulties due to negligency & non supportive response from her lady & everyone is requesting to her to go & take the flight but because sufficient time was available that time.

              For the same i called to customer care also & file the claim regarding this matter but till date i have not received this refund amount

              So it is our request to refund our ticket amount for 2 peoples which was big money kindly understand the situation & problem & support to us so that reputation of spicejet will sustain otherwise peoples can't trust on spicejet due to some non supportive peoples.

              We are seeking for your valuable support to refund my money back.

                My bag was stopped at delhi airport at level 4. I have already signed an authorization letter but it has been more than 24rs that no one is answering. Poonam baggage staff at mumbai airport is so rude that she doesn't know how to talk to customers. Nobody is their help or inform. No one is taking this matter as a critical matter i was waiting at the airport for 14 hrs and then i left for pune without any information about my baggage.

                  The airlines did not send me any email intimating about the cancelled flight. It was only after reaching the airport, i was told that the direct flight from mumbai to dehradun sg-6932 on 29tg november was cancelled. The airlines did not even inform the agency makemytrip about the cancelled flight. This sort o[censored]nprofessional service only takes the faith away. I could not attend my convocation ceremony due to this irresponsibility on the brand's part

                    My rucksack given as check-in luggage came in torn when i reached delhi from mumbai via spicejet flight sg6704 on 4th nov' 19. My bag also had a fragile tag. To be clear the fragile item is safe. The waist strap (The whole purpose of the bag to carry more weight with ease) was torn and no responsibility is being taken by spicejet. They say there policy is as such. They cannot take this lightly. Everytime anyone gets a damaged bag (Which happens very often) there policy is protecting them!? We cannot bare the cost for there mistakes!
                    I spoke to them with no avail hence i'm here. Hopeful for some fast track resolution.

                      Hhdq3r, samadrita mukherjee, my flight to mumbai from chennai was delayed by 3 hrs. Flight no. Sg252. I am traveling alone and after rescheduling my flight is scheduled to leave at 11:25 at night from chennai which will reach mumbai at 2 o clock at night. I live in virar which is far away from mumbai airport and last local from andheri is 1:30am. Am i supposed to spend the whole night at the airport?? Just refunding the money is solution for everything?? This is the 5-6th time i am facing same kind of harassment from this airlines, spicejet. Please shut down this airlines or take necessary action on immediate basis so that next time onwards they cant harass anymore passengers

                          My flight from mumbai to kolkata sg-490 on 29 november 2019 which had a schedule departure at 0035 is now delayed by more than one hour (Reason-congestion in air traffic) does traffic congestion only hampers spice jet flight or this is just an excuse
                          I had an onwards journey from kolkata but now i will miss my flight because of this delay

                            This is to bring into your notice that we traveled today with sg6276, bom to jaipur, where we had very bad experience. Your ground staff mishandled our luggage due to which it broke. It is a big 28” inch tommy hilfiger trolley bag. You may see the pictures for your reference. It is in very bad condition now, which is not replaceable or fixable. It is 7-8 months old trolley bag, costed around 12-15 thousand.
                            I had also filed a written complain for the same just after the incident at jaipur airport. Please see the attached copy of the same.
                            I request you look into this matter urgently and provide money back as per the actual cost of it.
                            It has been 15 days that we are waiting for reply. No revert from them. Backend person said to pay 3000 for a 15000 bag. No revert from nodal officers after so many escalations.

                                My flight from amritsar to dubai on 26.11.19tuesday 11:50 am under name satpal singh i was there in airport for check in 10:32 am but they rejected to check in they said counter is close staff is rudely answering nd they just leave me i am following them requesting to help me but they don’t want to listen so i miss my flight nd i decide to never go back in spice jet nd same day i book my flight in indigo nd service was good from 5 years i was using a flight of spice jet since it happen i f dad not wanna to book in spice jet anymore. Please if you are giving a flight nd help also people this is not customer service nd check how many people complaining about spice jet please train well to your staff

                                  I landed in delhi from air india flight ai914 (Dammam to delhi) on 7th of nov, my luggage consist of two baggage (23+10) and one hand baggage of 7 kg. My eticket no[protected]c1. I landed in delhi around 10:30 am and immediately proceeded towards to collect boarding pass for jharsugda.

                                  My immediate flight was spice jet (Delhi to jharsugda) sg8767, 7th of nov which was to be boarded at 13:30. During boarding i submitted both my baggage at the counter. However later on board, i noticed that the attendant put tag in only one of my luggage. Upon reaching jsg, i got my 23 kg luggage whereas my blue american tourister small -4 wheel trolley was missing. I informed to ground crew immediately and later followed up telephonically and by email, still spicejet has not provided me any update of my bag. I requested them to check cctv and provide me update but no reply received yet. My pnr is sel6ha.
                                  Delhi airport is secure facility and i assume that either the bag is still is in airport or under custody of spicejet staff.
                                  They are not responding to emails and calls and no satisfactory response is provided yet.

                                    I travelled on 15 nov 2020 from Ahmedabad to dubai for exams but when I landed to Dubai and collected my luggage from the counter, it was broken.I purchased it recently and was broken in such way. This is how they dispose the luggage.

                                    Such a worst service.I faced so much problem because of this.It was my new bag.So annoying and sad for me.

                                    Not expected from spice jet.

                                      Hello sir / madam,

                                      I am dhaval parekh residing in ahmedabad. I have booked my ticket in spice jet for ahmedabad to delhi for 17th november thru flight # sg-8912, pnr # qgjm8h, unfortunately flight was delayed by 1 and half hour.

                                      My return flight was on 20th november thru flight # sg-8193 with pnr # qgjm8h and flight time was schedule at 18.45 pm but at 18.30 pm i received email informing flight is delayed by 1 hour so departure time should be 19.45 pm, i reached on terminal 3 at 17.30 pm and completed all the procedure by 18.00 pm i. E. My luggage given for check in. If they re-check in their information, they will find that my luggage were checked in and i was waiting at the gate # 37 b (As announced) for the board in the flight. When my luggage were checked in, it means i was there at the airport only, it is obvious. They should announce my name at the gate # 37. How could they say that i have not reported at the counter. The counter which they are telling to report, on the same gate where people of three different destination were standing for mumbai, ahmedabad and hyderabad flight against that hardly 1-2 spice jet staff were standing, ratio against passengers travelling were very very poor.

                                      At 19.30 pm i asked the security person standing there about the current status, he said i think flight already departed (He was not even sure) and told me to check at the counter igi information counter which is 2 mins away from the gate # 37 b. On the same counter they told me flight is about to take off so go fast and tell them to allow you. The staff of counter igi information counter would have contacted at the gate # 37 b by calling them to wait. I just rush to the gate and ask for my flight and they simply said your flight has been just departed.

                                      I do not understand since more than one and half hour i was standing there at gate # 37 b, there was no proper audible announcement to board in flight # 8193 or no announcement of my name. The staff of spice jet or help desk counter they would have coordinated on the phone and helped me, instead of that they made me run here and there due to which inspite of reaching well in advance at the airport i missed flight. When they had checked that i have not boarded, they removed my luggage from the flight # sg-8193 instead of announcement of my name which took another thirty minutes for collecting my luggage back from them. This is not me alone who missed the flight but there many other passengers who missed their flight due poor services of spice jet.

                                      This is totally unprofessional working of spice jet and casual behaviour of their staff with the passenger.

                                      Due to this i had again booked the ticket for the next day morning because the flight of the same night was too expensive for the person like me who is working in the small firm. My 5 yrs old small kid and my wife were eagerly waiting for me at home at night but i reached home next day morning. I could not afford 1 more day hotel stay so the whole night i sat at the airport and waited for my flight which incurred my food expenses and travelling from terminal 3 to terminal 1 and the night without sleep.

                                      This was just emotional, mental and physical harassment experience with spice jet for me, my wife and my small kid.

                                      Herewith i am attaching my both the tickets, boarding passes, screen shot of sms received of the flight delay and rebooking of my second ticket of 21st november.

                                      I should get full amount of my ticket of 20th november along with seat assigning charges + the expenses incurred on my food, beverages and travelling i. E. 4996 + 160 + 1567 = rs. 6723/-

                                      Instead of this i got the reply from spice jet, they i will get only statutory fees as status is showing “no show” in their data.

                                      I will be highly obliged if my above matter is resolved at the earliest with your interference.

                                      My complaint is not yet resolved. On my email, they replied as I will get only statutory fees which is not correct. That is why I had written email to this Indian Consumer Complaints forum so my matter get resolved at the earliest. Thank You, Avani Desai C/o Dhaval Parekh
