i have lost my purse on 2/12/2012 sunday morning , i have called setc numbers , they said they don't know anything,
i did not have cash in it only id cards and debit card are there

SETC — missing wallet

i was travelling by bus no 873 ud from bangalore to tinnelveli. when i gotdown from the bus i found my vallet is missing. before that the bus left to udankudi. it has ATMcard, money and the bus ticket. pl help meout to locate the vallet.[protected],[protected]

    Buses arriving from rural areas are parked on PH road in Arumbakkam creating havoc to the traffic in the morning hours. this must be stopped by authoritieso .the drivers park the bus on the road and go to the nearly tea shops for theis breakfast. Polices do not have the courage to take action because transport dept. do not respect polices as their union is strong.

    Govt. Should take necessary action.,

      Sub: Bus service not good and Mentally affected by travelling in the TAMAILNADU STATE TRANSPORT CORPORATATION from Salem to Bangalore.(TNSTC Corporation: Salem).

      My name is Saravanakumar V. My house address in Bangalore is #46/99, 1st main, Lakshmi sagar layout, Mahadevapura, Bangalore. My mobile number is 91-[protected].

      Recently, I booked a bus ticket from Salem to Bangalore on 13/10/2012. The class of bus is Ultra Deluxe IS. Departure time of the bus was 23:59.
      My Ticket No: BB376140 & the trip code is 2359SALBANDD01U.

      Bus Number: TN30 N0625

      As a passenger, I am not happy with the service and money collected from me with other passengers.

      Problems in the bus:

      * The bus was having problem in the backside wheels and having the problem with Shocking observer. During the full time travel the bus was Jumping and so much noise and rain water came in to the bus. The bus is not have a good control for Drivers.

      * The gear box having problem, so the noise level were more.

      * The silencers & Tool box from back side are making more noises.

      * No complaint box.

      * No First Aid Box.

      The passenger travelled in the bus scolded more and they were not happy with the Tamilnadu bus service with this facilities. Also most of the peoples are murmuring that the KSRTC bus is more better than the TNSTC.

      I travelled earlier in the same bus and compliant to the Conductor. He was saying that we are not responsible for it sir & go and report to the office(TNSTC Salem Branch). I did so by explaining the problem with the bus but no action taken care when i was travelling again on 13/10/2012.

      Request: My request is to stop the bus service until the bus fully serviced (or) running in the route with new bus. And the same bus should not be run anyother route before service, The bus will kill many number of people travelling on the road including passengers. The Officers should be punished including RTO's.

      (I request you to travel in this bus one time and take my compliant with more serious.)

      SARAVANAKUMAR — TICKET BOOKING

      I HAD BOOKED A TICKET ON 4TH NOVEMBER FOR THE JOURNEY FROM COIMBATORE TO BANGALORE FOR THE DATE OF 11.11.2011. I MADE THE PAYMENT THROUGH NET BANKING BUT THE AMOUNT WAS DEBITED FROM MY ACCOUNT BUT I DID NOT GET THE TICKET. TAKE A NECESSARY STEP FOR ME AND DO THE NEEDFUL. THANK YOU

      tamil nadu transport — service is pathetic

      The bus service from vellore to bangalore is very pathatic. The condition of bus in not good and it is exactly like a town bus and paying ticket for such a transpotation is waste. No proper action is taken on any complains.

        Hi,
        Sep 8, 2012 travelled from Bangalore to Salem by Tamil Nadu transport - Salem. The bus started in Bangalore at 10:30 PM.Once bus started to move from bangalore the bus conductor switched on Audio system with full sound. As a passengers we have given to request switch off the audio system or reduce the sound. But simply they ignored and abused who has given the request. They were speaking if you want to reach salem be quite and go to you sit. They used some bad words also. They are treating very badly. Till salem they didnt switch off the audio system. My sincere request would be tamilnadu transport corporation should take action to remove audio and video system from long journey bus. The bus no is: TN 30 N 1066.

        We are not sure about bus conductor and driver's name. Please try to take action on removing video and audio system.

        I believe, now all the TNSTC buses which go from Bangalore to Salem dont have audio and video systems. Thanks for the action

          In Ulundurpet Tollgate on 19/08/2012 2340 hrs, I have been waiting on line, Bus No. TN 63 N 1480 waiting behind me, suddenly the driver move forward and hit and damage my car front side, I was shouted and make horn, he never respond and pass away from the toll gate. I have make call to toll gate authorities, he told, the services for accident with injured purpose only, pl give complaint to police or his depot manager. I want action to be initiated and punished that driver not to make such happenings. R.GNANAKUMAR, KARUR

            on 14/08/2012 i was travelled on R21 from velachery to SRP Tools. when i am trying get into the bus i put my hand near to conductor seat, but that seat is not welded and it is moving, with that my fingured crushed and so much blood came. some of the passengers asked the conductor, why that is seat not welded properly, but he replied harshly, it will be like that only. After few minutes another passenger injured in the same manner, but the conductor didnt respond and he i didnt show any humanity. So please kindly do proper arrangement of that conductor seat and avoid the passengers injury.

              I am a frequent traveler from chennai to bangalore on business needs.
              I have seen many people complaints about SETC bus service about broken side door glass,bedbugs,broken seat,rude conductors & drivers,improper timings,etc.,
              As I need to travel frequently I got adjusted to this nonsense.
              But on 26/7/2012,I happened to travel from bangalore to coimbatore,I usually prefer KSRTC as their service is far better than SETC.
              But i coultn't get reservation,and end up with this mortuary bus (SETC,really). The bus looked new and even seat covers are not teared off,so I thought its ok to give a try,as I have to be in coimbatore next day. only 25 seats are occupied and bus started from shanthi nagar bus stand and when it reached near madivala,some smoke come from engine with a huge sound,all o[censored]s feared and moved towards front door (only one exit door).
              driver tried to stop the bus, but both the gear and brakes failed,he could not stop the bus.conductor jumped off the bus while we are arguing with driver.driver too tried to jump off the bus,but some passenger got hold of him and asked to run it over the street divider to make the bus stop.we are nearing the madivala signal and the red light is on.if the bus moves at this speed,it can definitely kill all the bikers,auto rickshaws and car standing in the signal.

              Driver turned the bus to run over the street divider and the bus broke the divider and run over it and lying over the divider.After a waiting of one hour,they arranged for alternate bus.

              I heard some people complained about it in the SETC depot,but its no use,they wont change.

              They are fit only to do strikes not to work.I suggest TN government to change all SETC buses as load truck or lorries.its fit for that only not to carry people.

              simply SETC buses are mortuary buses,If you have other bus service available, dont even consider SETC.

                The operation of buses from Chatram Bus Stand to Ponmalai/Ponmalaipatti via sethurampillai colony between 4 to 5 is not there. We request the authorities to operate a bus each to Ponmalai/ Ponmalaipatti vis Sethurampillai colony between 4:30 to 4:45pm in order to avoid footboarding traveling and unncessary incidents which may happen if it happens.

                  Yesterday 10th of July.. I've booked the ticket in SETC from Coimbedu market to madurai at 9.30 pm bus service.. Due to heavy traffic in chennai I've reached CMBT place by exactly 9.25pm.. I told conductor that i don't have ticket he told me to bring ticket, unfortunately there is no internet service to take printout of ticket. but i showed my ID card and I've opened my laptop, connected with internet and then logged into SETC website and showed my booked ticket... even that operational officer at CMBT has accepted that ticket but these conductor and driver didn't agree.. and finally they left me in those place and they left...

                  This is seriously kind of F...K stupid thinks.. Government won't repay the amount. this stupid will now agree us to get into the bus after showing the ticket also in the sense... what will happen if they done like this more than 10 passengers they can earn

                  SETC — WORST DRIVING

                  LAST MONTH I WAS TRAVELLING TO NAGERCOIL IN 794UD.......WORST JOURNEY I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE....BUS STARTED IN CMBT AT 10 AND REACHED NCJ AT 4AM NEXT DAY....THE DRIVER SAID THE ENGINE CAPACITY IS NOT GOOD...MY REQUEST IS THAT PLS DO NOT OPERATE SUCH WORST CONDITION BUSES FOR LONG DISTANCES

I am and my brother was travelled on 08/07/2012 at 08.45PM in TNSTC Super Deluxe Bus (Bus No: TN 01 N 9796) from Vedaranyam to Chennai (Via ECR like Nagapattinam, Karaikkal, Sirkali, Chithambaram, Cuddaloor, Puducherry) seat no is 11 & 12. When I was in travel the bus stopped at near 10.30 Pm at Vanjoor nearby Karaikkal. It was stopped around 15 to 20 Minutes. Then I will see in outside the driver and the conductor having drinks in Tasmak. They also stopped the bus in front of the Tasmak.

                    I don't know the conductor name and diver name those are not displaying his name batch in shirts. The driver will make drunk and drive. They were fighting in there for who will drive now all people's watching this. Then bus was started then the driver put sudden break in main road there was no speed breaks and anything else before Puducherry all passengers are suddenly get from sleep. I don't know what is going on there. Who is asking anything to them both are scolding the passengers from his place.

                    I will take this matter to CM Cell.

                    BEST — drunken state passenger

                    I would also like to share a little experience of people spitting/loitering the road or footpath sitting inside the bus. There needs to be some kind of penalty to make these people improve as our city must shine with pride and not shame, as tourist would note all these and carry our name abroad with disgrace.

                      Sir,
                      The service provided by the transport corporation is very good and we r very thankful to the government of Tamilnadu.
                      I reside in Thiruchitrampalam Kuutroad (near auroville, Pondicherry), i have to travel daily in the particular bus ie Thirukuvilur bus which is suppose to arrive Thiruchitrampalam Kuutroad by 9.00am daily but the bus is not coming to our stop daily.
                      This particular bus instead of coming to the Thiruchitrampalam Kuutroad stop it turns in vanuur stop itself. So, we wait for long time expecting the arrival of the bus but all went in pain.
                      This bus come to our stop weekly twice or thrice only remaining day its not coming to our stop.
                      If it happens regularly we public will do a road block.
                      we expect the good office will care of this public issue and solve the problem immediately.

In AP buses traviling entare in india but TN Bus only with in State there is no bues from chennai to Guntur or vijayavad and Hyd TN bus services have only Nelore that to very Few buses that buses and not good i dont know the government this problem knows or not i requested to TNSTC please provide buses from Chennai to andhra


                        See where ever you can go APSRTC buses are availble like hitech bues, But TNSTC No buses for what government maitaing bus servieces they dont know the root for going to andhra this is very veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy bad

I see many bus running empty so how to government earning for money government go ahead lose so give proper drivers and conductors when give this contract in private that time good service get people and make buses clean and good condition

                          Extra money collected in SETC ULTRA DELUXE bus - TN 01 N 8067

                          My name is MITHUN KANTH.V. I had travelled in a SETC bus from
                          chennai to bangalore on 11/05/2012 around 22.00 and bus num is TN 01 N
                          8067. And well the ticket fare is 330 rupees ( for unreserved) and he
                          provide the ticket for this fare only but he collected 400 rupees
                          (330+70 extra charge)from me.

                          While i asked about this the conductor did not respond properly.

                          Hello Sir,

                          TNSTC 79 Route (Kanchipuram to Tambaram) buses should reach or start from Tambaram via Perungalathur.
                          But some of the buses are going in Mudichur road route. Due to this problem passengers are confused on which route the 79 bus goes. Please investigate and solve this problem.

                          18M bus between Vadapalani to Tambaram now a days are very rare. So many passengers are waiting this bus in west K.K. Nagar.
                          My suggestion is:
                          Please merge 18M in to G70 and G70 route should be via Nesapakkam
                          This solve the bus frequency

                            Hai everybody my dad is working in TNSTC VILLUPURAM -1 as conductor in DEPO 1 which is located near to villupuram new bus stand.
                            Due to the change of TM Chief minister in 2011 the management not giving regular duty(work) to my dad. The ADMK members are behaving like the owners of TNSTC VILLUPURAM DEPO -1, they are not allotting the regular(duty or work) bus for my dad and he is working more than 27 years in the TNSTC VPM -1 as conductor and now he was in loss of pay due to the management and the stupid ADMK politicians.
                            The ADMK Politicians are treating like my dad as beggar for daily begging for the work in the government organization. NOW THE GOVERNMENT OFFICES ARE IN THE HAND OF ADMK POLITICIANS.
                            Somebody have to take necessary action on ADMK politicians.

                              I am commuting in SETC between Tirunelveli and chennai. 2 months back, all SETC buses have only 36 seats. But around 450 newly released buses have their length increased and accomate around 43 seats.

                              Similiarly, all the existing buses are also modified to accomodate 43 seats without ever increasing the length which results in small space for placing the foots. Once the seat before you is pushed back, you cannot move your leg even a bit This is really frustrating. I am not sure that this message will reach concerned persons still i want to share the regrets.

                              Also for the amount of 440, there is no TV also. Better reduce the charge upto 40% and do the above things.

                              What comfort level we have in SETC when compared to trains(who charge only 286 rs for CHN-TEN - 650 kms). This is utterly dissappointing. In this summer, they really expect a huge revenue by increasing the number of seats at the dispense of the commuters.

                              Atleast the previous regime introduced deluxe bus concepts and increased the fare for local commuters. But here nothing got improved and still we are suffering.

                                TNSTC provides a worst service than other private & public transport service.

                                Yesterday, I booked the ticket for my friend. Unfortunately he was not able to take printout, but he had PNR No, Route No and Trip Code.

                                He pleaded with the conductor and he explained his situation. They responded in very poorly manner.

                                Finally, he could not travel on that bus even though he reached on time. No money refunded.

                                Most irritating thing is, he did not receive any email or sms from TNSTC.

                                Waste of Money, Poor Response, Poor Online Service ....

                                  When i am traveling in local bus at 21-jan-2012 mrng 6.40 am in 19B city bus. driver using phone while driving, and conductor collecting tickets sitting on seats only. on that time there is no ruses still he is not ready to come and collect the tickets. when i am asking to him why these happening he is speaking rudely and trying to beat us. please do the action. hope to understand the public necessity.

                                  I was traveling by TNSTC bus no ( TN 32 N 3633 ) on 23 July 2012 at 10.10 am from Pondicherry to Chennai. I gave 100 rupee & He gave me a ticket . When asked for my balance of 20 rupee he began shouting at me & at one point of time he began using very bad language in front of others and asked me to get out of bus . Which is really a very bad behavior by a public servant to the public. This has been happening with this conductor for quiet some time. Request the concerned to take proper action against this irresponsible public servant & pls educate the others about the behaviour .

I am Booked for Online, E-Booking instruction wise by 30.11.2011 at 3.30 P.M. Almost Completed For my Ticket Confomation, then i will Make a Payment of my Credit Account. After few Mintues E-Booking of Print out Copy is not come that Page/ my E-mail id. Then Visa Credit Payment is not on Eligble, This informate that time is came to display. Particular Day i am not Travelling of Vellore to Madurai. I have Checked My Account Balance that time, RS 332 /- Will be Charged. So Make on a Refund of RS 332 /- in my SBI / VISA Account.                                     I tried to book a ticket in www.tnstc.in on[protected] from Chennai to Nagercoil. While booking the transaction failed but the ticket fare Rs.796 debited from my bank account . There was a mail id in the TNSTC website for complaints and suggestion. But my mails are getting rejected by the website.

                                    Please Help
                                    Here I would like to mention some worst things and suggestions.

                                    1.There is no SMS confirmation for booked tickets .
                                    2.The http://tnstc.in website not at all working properly and frequently. Just now I tried to book tickets in this site but I couldn’t get the places in search field.
                                    3.Tnstc deducting the 40 % amount form the booking amount. ( Only 10% deducting in Private buses. & the fare is starting from only 300 for Trichy.
                                    4.The Push back seats are not working properly. Its depending their luck.
                                    5.The time keeping officers and the official persons ( who are all sitting in the SETC Office, Koyambedu) are not response properly and the never giving the respect to others. ( their thinking they are the owner of TNSTC)

                                      Address: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

                                      I booked and traveled in an Air Conditioned bus (SETC -a government of TamilNadu undertaking) from Madurai to Chennai on 05/12/2011. The PNR number is : R1241375 and trip code is : 2100MADCHEMM01A. The bus number is : TN 58 N 0930. We two passengers got seats of 19 and 20. The AC for that seats were not working. When I asked to conductor, he told that repairing AC is not his job and he is not getting salary for that. I got frustrated on his reply. I need some action to be taken and some reasonable amount to be returned to me.

                                      I have attached the ticket using which I traveled. Please take some necessary actions for that.
