        Tata aig has denied to renew my car insurance policy. It is stating that i have made exessive claim in a policy year. For kind information, as per policy rule i am eligible for maximum 2 times 100% claim. And i have done 2 claim, which is still in line with policy rules. Further there is no base in this clarification as if i have made exessive claim how can tata aig approve my excess claim. Then it is not clear to me how this can be a reason for denial of the policy renewal.

        If 2 claims in a year can deny me renewal. Then i am also should be eligible to get back my previous year premiums for which i have not made any claim. Tata aig is making rules for self benefit. Please be careful while buying policy from tata aig.

        I have separately raised this issue to tata AIG. Upon verification I found that this policy renewal is denied due to the potential risk of excess claim based on the feedback from Tata AIG under writer team.

        This is totally unacceptable. And I can clearly say that tata AIG is discriminating my policy. No way i will accept this clarification from Tata AIG which has come up with such rule just to safeguard its benifit.

        If tata AIG has such rule then why the same has been specified in the policy or why such details were informed while when I buy policy. Tell me one reason to accept your clarification now.

        Guys please be careful with tata AIG while buying policy. The moment you claim for 2 times 100% in a year, they will deny renewal stating some stupid rule. They only want you to buy policy and renew yearly but never claim. The moment you claim (that too genuine and due to unfortunate incidents) they will not renew policy.

        Coming to tata AIG team,

        I want my policy to be renewed by tata AIG with out any reason. If you can deny my policy with a statement of future potential risk of excessive claim, then I think even i have the right to demand you to return all policy premiums which I paid duly in past 4 years however not claimed.

            Sir/ madam,
            With due respect i shiba prasad mandal, father of souvik mandal residing at 22 kazi najrul islam sarani 1st lane insurance housing estate po&ps nimta, kolkata 700049 would like to inform you that, my son, souvik mandal was admitted in zenith super specialist hospital 07.02.2020 to 15.02.2020 for the deases of "lower respiratory tract infection" with migraine problem. My son souvik mandal whose policy number is "[protected] 02 01" & member id is "[protected]"is under the policy of tata aig insurance which is totally cashless scheme. But at the time of discharge the mediclaim company denied to receive the cashless facility. Then i paid the full amount of rs. 78, 678/- (Rs. Seventy eight thousand six hundred and seventy eight only/-) to the hospital for the purpose of hospital bill. Then after facing this problem, i contacted with axis bank, nimta branch, who mainly offered me to do this tata aig mediclaim policy. But then they (Axis bank) also refushed to help me. They told me to fill up the reimbursement form that time, to get the reimbursement amount. So finally we arrange the amount and paid to the hospital helplessly. After that, according to the mediclaim company i also went to the axis bank physically to submit my bank cheque with all the original copies of hospital bill details.
            But sir/madam, it's almost 80 days over, still i have not received my reimbursement amount. That time i borrowed that hospital bill from my colleagues and relatives respectively. As i borrowed so, i have to liquidate that money to them. But if i do not get the reimbursement amount then how could i pay them sir/madam??
            Therefore, i shall be highly obliged if you kindly look after this matter and help me to get back the reimbursement amount. Please do the needful.

              Hello,

              I did bike insurance payment of rs.1084 twice from upi of my icici bank account,[protected].

              On online payment however, the transaction failed, however the amount was debited from my bank account.

              Also my bike policy is not renewed.
              Bike registration no is mh 14 hl 4098.

              Transaction id screenshots are attached in mail.

              As i cheked with icici bank, money has been transfed to tata aig.

              So kindly do my refund as soon as possible.

                I had car insurance from tata-aig for 35k + which cover 0 depreciation. I had scratches on car while parking in public area. I raised a claim for insurance.

                They were not ready to settle the amount after giving police acknowledgement. The person said they need fir for this. As his intention was not good i raised a complain for it and requested for change of person who inspected my vehicle.

                After many calls they did not do anything and keep on saying that they need more document (Fir copy) etc. I raised grievance and moved till 3rd level (Highest level) still the same person was giving reply to my email in all levels and nothing happened. They also closed the case with out informing me. I had to reopened it by calling customer care. They were no intention to settle the claim.

                Before moving to ombudsman i called the tata-aig representative for resolution (Mr alok - he handles ombudsman cases). He was very kind and polite and said to resolve issue in 1 week. He asked for vehicle inspection. I went to mg road for inspection as he said he know best person very well. After that he vanished and did not pick my phone or no further communication. Later i got to know that he was building his case against me to represent it in ombudsman. Such a lire these people are and unprofessional.

                I send my request to ombudsman and got my car repaired and as per clause they have to pay me 8% of additional amount as penalty. Tata-aig did not pay the amount by again saying that all document was not proper.

                I was able to recover partial amount from them by chasing for 1 year.
                They are highly unprofessional, rude, unfaithful, lire and cheater. No one should take insurance from them. I am attaching the pic shows number of cases ombudsman had on single day from them. I guess they have worst settlement ratio

                  Sir i pay 8239 rupees for 5 year long term policy. But when i cheak my vichle details on paribhan website show only one year and it is expired. But the policy valid from[protected] to[protected].
                  That's reason i couldn't submit my hp termination form. This company work with dutta autobile. Add - benachity, durgapur west bengal, 713213. My insurance policy given this showroom. When i tell my problem manager and staff missbehave with me. But insurance company behave too good. But they say they can't update.

                    Never buy tataaig travel insurance policy. They loot people.

                    Thousands of people buy it while flight bookings. I would suggest you to never ever do so.

                    They donot refund a penny even if you face accidents/flight delay more than 6 hours / baggage loss.

                    #abandontataaig: my claim number is [protected]a & their responses and horrible (Once you approach them after any of the inconveniences stated above) and their statements never matches with what they promise in policy.

                      I had taken zero dep policy from Tata Aig and my vehicle had accident in which my vehicle hit from the back and my vehicle collided with front vehicle and file claim for the same but surveyer not providing claim for full damage only partial damage claim is provided ie one back light and back bumer but my vehicle hit from the back and and front also . Front bumber got damage . surveyer is saying that i am not going to give claim and telling me do whatever you want and misbehaving on phone that don't phone me in fututre. i had contacted to customer care for the same then they have said that you get your vehicle repaired and we will get your vehicle inspected and claim will be provided to you. still my issue is not resolved and only back bumper and one back light claim is given and remaining front bumper damage and left back light has to be proivided by the company immediately. My complain no is [protected] and if my complain is not resolved immediatly i am going to file a case against surveyer for misbehaving and mental harrasment and compensation for the same and aslo to TATA AIG.

                          My two wheeler insurance was denied by mr. Nitin in june 2019. Afterward i went to them 4-5 times to their office and tried to contact them through phone in past 2 months but no response from his side. He was not answering calls and was not available at office when i went there. Instead another officer's number was given to me mr. Sameer yadav to whom i went and met and discussed my problems. He as well is denying my claim for unknown reasons. Then he started ignoring my calls as well. Not after 2.5-3 months of my two wheeler insurance's date i'm not getting claim for the accident for which i have taken this tata aig insurance. I called his offices many times they are saying they have given my number to mr. Sameer but he's not willing to talk to me and asking me to show up on office again. He's not doing his job and i don't know where to complaint so i came here. This is a fraud company and doing scam with me.

                            I was traveling to Indonesia and made a travel insurance business plan for Asia for a week's travel worth 761 RS. It was a failed transaction so I tried again. It failed again.The money got deducted twice and no policy was issued. I have spoken to numerous customer care executives and corresponded with them over email. They keep giving me complain number and tell me they will get back to me. No one has been able to resolve the issue as yet. It has been 20 days already and no cooperation has been shown from them. It is not a small amount of money and I want immediate refund. But no one is helping me out with this issue. It seems like they are creating a scam because so many complaints I have read for similar issues. I am extremely alarmed.

                              I am holding group medi prime health insurance policy from tata aig. in the month of july 2019 i have called to customer support to include my newly born baby into my group policy. i have been told that i need to wait for 3 months, so i waited for moths and today when i called to customer support on 16 sept 2019 they are saying that it can be added only at the time of renewal.

                                In my tata aig motor policy there is option available for emergency hotel and transport but when i asked it for they simply denied it and refuse to give the same.

                                  Hi team,

                                  Recently i have taken tata aig health insurance medicare policy and i have received a policy document and ids in time, but that day on ward's i am trying to connect help line, but it never connect to executing i was checked how much time it takes to connect for helpline executive i was there around 45 mints but no luck.
                                  I don't have experience to write about settlement & payment and how much time they do take for settlement and payment during hospitalization and health case.
                                  I have checked many reviews here and according to those we don't get not get support from tata and next year during renewal i will switch to another service provider.
                                  Tata AIG Insurance customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
