So we had a technician come in to our apartment to repair and regas our aircons. He gave us a 60 day warranty and spending 20500 rupees. After a 4 days the one aircon stopped working. We have contacted him numerous of times where each time is a different excuse. We told him that he needs to come today to fix this as its been now more then a week and again he gave us an excuse. Did he really just [censored]ed us because we are foreigners in India so he could squeeze a lot of money out from us?
All I want is for my aircon to work and not get excuses after excuses as to why he cannot be here. The said technician is Aaftab

    Its been a week uc executive has taken an advance amount of 1500 from us and taken our washing machine display part to get it repair but no response from their side since a week just they are diverting service one to two and two to three...and not resolving even the person is not picking up our call since 3 days.i want to complaint against them about this issue.

      Ill jus say it in a simple way, you people spoiled my machine and i need a refund but you promised me to do so and took my a/c no ifsc code but never refunded i got a call on the 1st of July 2022 today is the 12th of July and no refund done that means you people are fooling around and you think all customers are fools. No bank takes this much time to refund please give my money which I wasted because o[censored]rban Company.

        While my mother was making the booking Urban Company added membership by default to the bill without asking for permission.

        When asked to cancel the booking and the membership they denied saying membership is non refundable.

            I had purchased appliance warranty plan on Feb'22 for a Daikin AC. That AC stopped working on 6th Jul 22. I had raised a claim under warranty on the same day. App stated our team will call you back in 30 mins. But god only knows when that 30 mins will come. Worst part is there no option of contacting Customer care directly, it is that they will call you as per their leisure & you have to wait. I am raising claims intermittently since last 3 days daily but still no response. My AC is as it is. Horrible, frustrating.
            When i didnt get any response i just booked AC repair service on 8th Jul 22 & the repair guy arrived in an hour. When i asked it is under warranty he was clue less obliviously.

            I cancelled the service & got a cancellation charge of 49 Rs. I raised a refund request for this RS 49. To justify cancellation charges is applicable as i cancelled, i have received 3 calls on the same day. Even today morning also i received a call.

            But no update on warranty claim.

            Its height of fraud. Dont go for Appliance warranty SCAM by UC.

              I have booked service for my sofa cleaning and the professional has used some chemical which destroyed the whole leather of my Durian Philly sofa of 1 lakh. Now repair cost is 35K and as per complaint given to company they have damage policy of 10K. Now let me know who will bear the cost. This is height o[censored]n-professionalism.

              I have already done complaint to UC but nothing has been done so far. its been more than 2 weeks now.

              Hi, many calls have been received, but as of now no satisfactory response. Please find attached the quotation of Durian for getting damage repaired.

              Get it resolved on top top priority.

                Absolutely rubbish service, professional broke the tap & left it broken. Ruined the tiles, fixtures, and door with acid used for cleaning.

                There were fumes & horrible smells while he was cleaning the bathroom.

                serviced was booked of 5 July & same afternoon complaint was raised with UC & ever since then they been of no use. They are not ready to send another professional to fix the problem & they have no other alternative.

                Simply denied help & said that they are not able to contact the person who visited so cant help as they have already paid him for service.

                SO NEVER BOOK ANY SERVICE WITH URBAN COMPANY.NEVER.

                They hire people who they can't even contact back, UNDERSTAND how DANGEROUS this is.

                  Got a service for bathroom cleaning on June 22nd.The professional damaged my products(shower head, rod and hand shower set). Hand shower he has broken it.Tech team is giving an info to send mail . Sent mail on July 27th. No reply till now .Followed up via mail no reply.
                  One of the agent gave transaction id 47228558 which turned out to be fake when contacted bank. One agent told to reupload the pics and have done it .The agent missed one invoice for refund . One is telling refund initiated and other one is telling pending for admin approval. No such manager's escalation and if you send email they will not respond . I have never faced an org with lack of resposibility and pathetic service . Till date following up for my refund no proper status . Beyond that spoke to Manager Sajith he wa rude and arrogant telling i cant contact you agent will reach out to you.
                  Even we are an employee and my productivity goes in following up UC.Every agent will take 20mins to go through case history and never call/reply in chat .Seriously, I am annoyed with such service where they have no proper system to escalate and end user cant even reach them directly for any queries.

                    Sofa cleaning and carpet ruined

                    We had utilised the sofa cleaning services from Urban company on 2nd July 12 pm. Please not the below on the services booked:

                    1. Partner arrived 1.5 hours late.
                    2. The schedule service of 2 hours was completed in 1 hour 20 mins.
                    3. The shampoo was still very much on the sofa and carpet which was highlighted to the partner.(refer image)
                    4. The partner claimed I have done my job-“ this is how it happens...

                    My AC was not cooling so I booked online gas refilling service o[censored]rban company that included the checking of leakage and filling of gas, on 29 June 2022. The technician visited on the next day and filled gas without proper checking of the leak and said everything was good to go. The next day again my AC stopped cooling and then when I called the technician he told me that there is leakage in the ac copper pipe but when asked to open the sealing of pipe and to find the leakage and fixing it he refused and asked for extra money for the same work and also asked to change whole pipe instead of finding the leak and fixing it. I have already paid 3049 rupees including the gas filling and the service charge and now I want the refund of the amount that I have paid to the company as I am very disappointed by the experience and I am not getting any proper response from their support team as well. Please help me in getting the refund of the amount I have paid so I can get the issue fixed from somewhere else as it is mentally exhausting to take constant follow-up regarding the service for which I have paid already and that has not yet been done.

                        This is in regard to the television service taken from the urban company wherein property was damaged by the professional at the time of service. I booked a service for 23-May-2022 wherein a professional visited my place and provided the service. During the service, the property was damaged due to which I faced multiple issues on television.

                        I have been following up with urban company since that day and after a month of mentally harassment and frustration, I was provided with a resolution to get it repaired and urban company would reimburse only upto Rs. 10, 000 and anything in excess of 10, 000 would have to be beared by me (even if that was due to urban professional).

                        The story does not end here, now that I have got the television repaired after going through the harassment by the urban company, I get to know something else. I am still waiting for the link to upload the invoice for which I paid 10, 449.
                        Firstly, I was not issued the correct invoice by the urban company, and received an invoice for 249 wherein I paid 10, 449. So this is when I got to know that urban company is not only messing up with the customers but also cheating the government by issuing invoices less than the actual service amount TO AVOID TAXES. I have the proof for all that I am saying and I will make sure that I get this escalated as well, through social media and consumer complaints. Thankfully, I paid the amount through digital mode, else the company would have refused the payment amount also. Additionally, I am now denied the reimbursement of the amount that I incurred and I am told that I would not even get the 10, 000 amount (which was promised earlier).

                          I booked a chimney cleaning service from urban company. Mr amjad faisal khan was appointed as the service guy. The chimney was in absolutely perfect working condition before it was operated upon. After the service, the sensors stopped working and a few lights are also not working. Mr amjad took the sensor out and also some 'pct board' from the top of the chimney and told me that he will get them fixed from somewhere and place it in the chimney. But even after around 7 days, the sensors and the lights are not working. Now, mr. Amjad told me that he can't do anything about the problem and i would have to get it fixed from the chimney's company. After that, another technician was assigned to fix the chimney. He also took the sensor and the pct board for 3 days. After that, he came back and put the board and the sensor back, but the problem has still not been resolved. Now the company is not responding to my complaints.

                              Water purifier was damaged by the technician while performing servicing. I am requesting for refund for my damaged parts. I have provided all the necessary details/quotation provided by the water purifier company for damaged parts. I am following up with customer care for weeks and months now to get my refund.                               Why out of warranty case? I have been following up from April 12 when the issue happened and not getting proper response from your side. Your company is delaying the things and making this issue out of warranty. Need your immediate attention

                                  Hope you all are fine and safe post COVID Crisis.

                                  I would like to bring to your kind knowledge of a serious issue with regards to what's actually happening at Ground Level in URBAN Company in Kolkata.
                                  A week back I had booked a split AC Deep cleaning service from Urban Company in Kolkata.
                                  They send a Technician at our House (AC Serviceman -SHAMIM SHEIKH -(+[protected].
                                  This guy came and checked up our AC Compressor and suggested us to refill GAS for an AC which is less than 1 year old. I told him " I don't want to refill GAS, you just do the deep cleaning and close the chapter."
                                  The guy kept insisting on my wife and mother and offered much lesser money to do the refilling if we do it directly from him and didn't ask for receipts.
                                  We did not agree to his words.
                                  I was busy packing my luggage as I was leaving for Abu Dhabi the next day.
                                  Meanwhile my mother requested him to check another Window AC in one of our Bedrooms. He immediately opened the AC and took the circuit and said, he is leaving for the day. He will come back again the next day and fix the problem.
                                  We paid him Rs 3000/- for this job, he refused to provide Bills. My mother was unaware that, for repairing another AC, we needed to book a call again from URBAN Company.
                                  Again this Serviceman constantly insisted on repairing our AC without providing Bills for the same.
                                  Today just within 10 days after repair, the AC Stopped working and the guy is not responding to his calls anymore.
                                  At that time, we constantly asked him to provide us with a BILL but he bluntly refused. We stopped asking him since I had to travel the next day.
                                  When the guy came to our House, he constantly insisted that my mother and wife give 5 star rating before he left our residence. Now my mother is not so literate and normally a very calm natured person. I did not have time to talk to him at that point of time and my wife gave him a Good Rating.

                                  Sirs, with all due respect, I would like to inform you that, we are very happy with the services from URBAN Company and we have never faced any such issue from Urban Company ever be it in India or abroad.

                                  I would earnestly request your kind self to look into this matter.
                                  May that guy come and repair the AC for which he had not provided us any Bill.

                                      I was actively using my account with mobile number [protected]. However, I recently cancelled the mobile connection and tried to update my profile with my alternate number [protected]. Since it said account already exists, i tried logging in with this account. But now unable to log back into [protected] as i cannot receive OTPs anymore. Could you please assist in clubbing both the accounts? I have a premium membership through [protected] which i cannot access now.
