I ordered a big "blooming love vanilla cake" worth rs. 4, 198 for my sister's engagement (Orderid: [protected]). The cake was expected to be cut at the ring ceremony art around 1 pm.
So, i ordered 2 days prior and paid a premium amount of rs.300 for on-time/fixed time delivery between morning 10-11am. But, it was not delivered on the selected time.
When i called, there customer service, they said it is on the way and there is a slight delay and expected to deliver by 11.30am.
I waited till 12 noon and then at 12.30 pm also, but the cake was not delivered.
This is the worst day of my life, the ring ceremony happened at 1 pm without a cake. The ceremony completed at 2 pm and till that time also no cake was there.
At around 2.45pm, i received a call from a third party cake vendor saying, now they are coming to deliver. I asked for location and they were around 15 km far from my location at 2.45pm and they said that they can only reach by 4 pm.
I canceled the order because at 4 pm that cake is of no use for me.
Not sure, what is the quality of service winni is maintaining.
When i called their customer service for a refund, they denied for that and said they can't refund.
Later the next day, they called me and said they will do a refund but the amount will be added to my winni wallet. Wtf.
How can you expect a customer to reorder cake using your wallet when you are giving such a 3rd class service.
Winni can't understand what the loss i had. It's not just money... It was a shame moment for my entire family in front of around 150-200 people.
I paid by trusting your service and the marketing message you have written across your website. But, the company cheated me by not refunding my money back to my bank account.
After all, this happened i read reviews from other people on quora and a couple of other platforms and found that i am not the only one suffering. There are a lot of other people who had a similar experience with winni.
