I had booked a easy cab on Friday evening for saturday morning journey & the customer service personnel mentioned that the cab has been booked & within half an hour I would receive the confirmation. Within 1 hour I received around 4 messages having the same confirmation no with the same booking details. Next day at the booking time ( 4:45 A.M), i receive a message mentioning that there are no cabs available & as usual statemement. Sorry for the incovenince caused.

I was supposed to catch the train at 6:00 P.M & getting a transport at that point time was very difficult. Somehow we got a rikshaw & reached the station.

How can we make use or have trust of such kind of service. They give lots of advertisement on reliability & easy ways to book cab at odd hours. They do not keep up their words & commitment. I think its better they change the name from Easy Cabs to UNEASY CABS.

There are so many reviews mentioned at different websites against their horrible services & I am surpriced that no action has been taken against them for improvising their service.

I hope & am awaiting a possitive assurance from consumer court help these issues or take away their licence until the assure a positive customer service.

    Hi,

    My name is Ashutosh and I registered at Easy Cabs to get a taxi from Cuffe Parade to Lower Parel on 9th Nov 2010 at 6:30pm (Booking Number: B00730). They agreed to send a cab and the driver called me at 5:45 pm to ask for directions to the place of origin. After getting my directions, he reached the place at 6:00 pm and confirmed me of his presence.

    At 6:15 pm, when I called up the driver to see if he is ready to leave, he said that he got another passenger and has already left. It was raining at that time and I got stranded at Cuffe Parade (and it was not easy to get an alternate taxi). I called up the Easy Cabs call center at 6:20 pm and they said they will call back in 15 mins with an alternative. When I did not receive a call after 20 mins, I struggled and somehow found a usual taxi (getting drenched in the rain in the process).

    From this taxi, I called the call center to check what the status was of my query and they lied saying that they were trying to reach me but could get through. I registered a complaint against the driver and was promised that they will inform me of the complaint status in 24-48 hours. I received no call till 12th Nov, and so had to call back again to check the status. It is a painful process each time you call them, for you have to wait in line for 5-10 mins, before you can get through. Also, they do not have a dedicated number for registering complaints.

    On the 12th, I was promised to receive a call within 24 hours. Thinking that this might be genuine, i waited another day for their call. When nobody called, I called back on 14th Nov, only to be told that something will happen within the day (i.e. 14th) and I will get a response. As usual, nothing happened. So, I called back again on the 16th morning to check the status. I obviously blasted them this time. I was told that they had no complaint registered for the 9th. They only had something for the 14th Nov, since their "system was down" on the 9th. I was furious. They also explained that they write down complaints manually in a register, and nothing in the system. I fail to see how they can have an elaborate booking and routing software, and still complaints are written manually. Obviously, they do not care about the later.

    I was promised that I will get a call by 11am that morning (16th Nov) with a resolution. Again nothing happened. I wanted to give up, but thought about trying for the last time. At 11:05 am, I called them again and they had no clue that they were supposed to call me by 11:00am. They said that they will take some action within the next 2 hours. I asked them what my complaint was (just to check). They had no idea. They gave me the usual stuff - "Driver was late for pickup". At this, I blasted them again and explained what had happened.

    Within 2 hours I got a response, saying that the driver has been warned. I am not a fool to buy that. This was just so that I stop calling. The person who called had no idea what the driver's name was. He just said that his seniors had warned the driver that such a thing should not happen again.

    To summarize, it was a pathetic handling of consumer complaint from their end. And a dismal attempt to save any credibility in the minds of the customer. Till their utilization levels are high (cars are running on roads), nobody cares.

      Iam Udham S Hooda @ [protected]. I booked a cab with Easy Cab to reach Nizamudin station from Faridabad. It was very urgent to reach on time, so i called up some Radio taxi service so as to reach my destination on time. Though Easy Cab was charging me Rs.20/Km, which is much more than a standard rate of Rs. 15/Km. But i prefered paying more over missing on my schedule.

      They sent me a sms at 1:30 PM abt the confirmation of booking at 7:30 PM. I was just waiting for the cab and suddenly i got a sms from Easy Cab mentioning their inability to arrange a cab. And the worse part is that the sms was sent at 7:17 PM.

      It was a big trouble for me and they are responsible for all the stress and problems i faced.

        On 16th September 2010, I called EASY CAB at 7:30 pm and asked for a cab at 9 pm from Koramangala III Block to Bilekahalli via BTM Layout. The booking id I received on my cell phone was B002375.

        I was surprised to see that no sms came half an hour before pick up time, giving me the driver details. Then at 9 pm, I called up 43434343 as there was no sign of the cab.

        Syed answered and took the id no:, and put me on hold while he checked it out. He never took up the phone again! I held on for a full ten minutes thereafter...after which, I gave up and hired an auto.

        Now I am a frequent traveler, and in fact, would have hired an EASYcab tomorrow to go to the airport, but since they obviously couldn't care less about losing theirregular customers, bye!

        They may well lose all their customers if this is how they treat them!

        This is regular practice of Easy Cabs, even on confirmation they never send cabs for pickup. Government must take an action against this company

          This was the worst experience.. I booked the cab at 530PM for 730 pickup..and got the booking confirmation immediately. I dint get the vehicle driver number even after 7.. i made a call to easycabs at 7:02 PM and 7:26 PM asking for the Status..they kept on telling that the cab was on the way and will be there at the door step in 5 mins...when i asked for driver number, they said that they cant give me :O..
          and at 745PM, they said that the cab is not available..and the booking is cancelled..
          they claimed to have sent a cancellation SMS at 735 pm.... which i dint recieve...and Wats the use of telling that the cab is not available so late...they are a bunch o[censored]nprofessional ppl..who then lied that the pickup time was 805PM, and they sent the cancellation half an hour earlier..where as i had an sms booking confirmation for 730 PM...i am left in an awkward situation..NEVER USE EASYCABS SERVICE EVER...

          PS: Their time to recieve call was ~8 mins :( and once that customer-"executive" starts answering the call, they put my call on-hold every atlernate minute...

          Easy Cabs — Pathetic Service and organisation

          Hi,
          I had booked a cab through Easy cabs[protected] for today early hours (15 Mar 2011; 4:15AM) from my home to airport for my family. Booking Id: A[protected], Car No: 0665. When I was booking the cab I informed the call centre executive that I have 4 large bags and 2 small bags as my luggage. However the passengers are only 2 members. Initially he said he will not accomodate and then when I said I do not need in that case, he said he will check with his team and put me on hold. When the call resumed, he said I can carry the luggage.

          Morning the cab arrives and when we are about to board the luggage, the drive blatantly refused to carry my complete luggage. As per him, only 2 large and 2 small bags are allowed in the car boot and hence he cannot allow the remaining luggage. Inspite of mentioning that I booked the cab after confirmation from the call centre executive and talking with the call centre executive in front of him he refused and on top of that he left the place while I was on call with the call centre executive. He refused to stop inspite of calling him back and was very rude. My family has to catch the flight at 7AM and this driver was very careless to even talk to us.

          Thanks to dot cabs, I was able to book another cab and got the cab in 5mins and he took them to airport.

          It was such a horrible experience and the attitude of Easy cabs was very bad and un-professional. No thanks for the most unreliable cab service in the country.
          I booked cab from Bombay Domestic airport to my hotel. That counter bala took 50 Rs. from me for car parking. When I asked why should i need to pay this. Then he said in Bombay customer need to pay. Even he given me the receipt also. EASY CABS very bad customer service

            We had booked the cab to goto the railway station with pickup at 4:45am from residence. When the cab did not turn up at 4:30am we called the call centre[protected] only to be told that cab is not available. Got the "Cab not available" message immediately after that. We had to struggle to make alternate arrangements at that unearthly hour facing a lot of inconvenience.

            We had called to make the booking the previous day evening. Why were we not told well in advance that cabs will not be available? And, what is the point in booking the cab early if the confirmation/non-availability is sent 30 min prior to pick-up? What if someone has to catch an early morning overseas flight?

            They need to review their ridiculous and "Uneasy" confirmation system. If a cab is not available, the customer should be intimated atleast 3-6 hours in advance so that alternate arrangements can be made.

            Totally disappointed in Easy cabs service. Guess we'll book some other cab service in future.

            Easy Cabs — Ridiculous Service

            Dear Sir/Madam
            I booked a cab from Easy Cabs to reach New Delhi Railway Station from my residence under the booking ID A[protected] on 27.04.10. I got the confirmation along with chauffer number and car no., however no car reached me. When I tried Chauffer's mobile no. it was switched off and on calling Easy Cabs they said that the cab cannot reach me.
            It was a breach of faith as this almost led to the missing of my train. I would urge the authorities to take necessary action against the Easy Cabs so that they should not play with the time of the consumers.

              I booked a cab from Easy Cab, Bangalore for my pregnant wife. I booked it on 7 AUG, 2010 in the morning for city railway station to catch evening train at 4:30 pm.

              They said i would get an sms just before 30 Minutes, since i didnt get an sms I called them for the info. A lady picked the call asked me to wait for a second and just cut the call. I tried once gain a guy picked up and said I would get the vehicle details shortly...but after 2 minutes I got an sms saying it got canceled again because o[censored]navailability of cab in my area. Earlier it was confirmed with Booking Id B001189.

              This is very bad from Easy Cab's part. First they are confirming and at last minute they canceling their conformation. Their customer care disconnect the call in between and showed no response. This is height of ignorance. I don't know how this company is able to manage their customers.

              They should have provided us with some alternate solution; after-all it was their fault but they didn't even bother to call us nor they felt any sorry for the inconvenienced caused to us. They are fooling people.

              Guys!! Please please please never use their service. I was talking to my colleagues and came to know they had the similar experience with Easy Cabs before. Please use some other car rental service (any decent who cares for its customers) and please avoid their crappy service.

              I have all the conversation (sms) of my confirmation and cancellation at last minute. Please share If somebody has similar experience as I am planning to take some action against them.
              This is to inform that I was regularly taking services of Easy Cabs in Delhi and the same can be confirmed from my mobile no# [protected] in your database (though I also utilize the services of other service providers but till 5th May 2011, Easy Cab was my preferred Rental Cab Operator).

              I never wanted to go through the ordeal again in my life which I went through on 5th may 2011. I missed my train as the Cab from Easy Cabs not reported at my residence even after 45 minutes of the scheduled time inspite of numerous calls to the Customer Care and the Cab Driver. Finally after making alternative arrangements, reached to the Railway Station only to witness, I missed my train and more importantly missed the event for which I was scheduled to present myself.

              With this letter I wish to inform the authorities of Easy Cabs in particular and public in general that Easy Cabs can’t be trusted especially when one needs to catch the train or flight as there will be no end to the lies / false assurances which the customer care executives and cab drivers used to provide to the client.

              Though it’s futile on my part to repeat the incidence but anyhow I think it needs to be reported in public forums, just if someone can learn the lessons from my incidence and not to trust the assurances of customer care executives and Cab drivers.

              - I have booked Easy Cab for 5th May at 05:55 AM and the Booking ID was A[protected] allotted Car No: 0119.

              - I called customer care at 5:30 AM to assure if the cab is on time (which normally I do) and the executive informed that Cab will reach at the scheduled time.

              - I called the Cab driver at 5:40 AM to re-confirm, he informed that he is in Shahdra and needs 10-15 minutes to reach to my destination.

              - Again I called the Cab driver at 5:55 AM, he asked me the directions for reaching at my origin point and confirmed that within 10-15 minutes the cab will reach i.e. atmost by 6:10 AM.

              - I bought the same to the notice of customer care about the delay but I have been assured that the Cab will reach within 5 minutes.

              - I am left with no option but to wait as making alternative arrangement on my part may consume considerable time and again I called Cab Driver on 6:10 AM only to be informed that he is at Gas filling station and another 15 minutes required i.e. by 6:25 AM. I again called customer care about the harm which this delay may cause to me but in turn they assured to check the status and apologized for the delay and ultimately informed me that Cab is just about to reach.

              - Finally at 6:25 the Cab driver called me back, only to ask whether the Cab is still required by me and if so it will take atleast another 15 more minutes, i.e. by 6:40 AM !!! (from the tone of the driver it was clear that he was not willing to take the scheduled task, due to the reasons not known to me).

              - At this moment I have realised my foolishness for believing the assurances/re-assurances of customer care executives & Cab driver and finally decided to work out alternative arrangement as the above-mentioned incidences made me belive that even at 6:40 AM there is no surety that Cab will report.


              And atlast, I promised myself not to hire any cab from Easy Cabs under any of the circumstances whatsoever.

              I want Easy Cabs to compensate for whatever they have done to me.

                My relatives were coming from MP to visit Karnataka for a week. The train was supposed to reach Bangalore Railway Station at 1 am. I called up the EasyCabs asking if they pick up people from Railway Station. They said they do, but there is no vehicle that can accomodate 7 people so I will have to book two cabs. I did so. The train was on time. EasyCabs IT services were excellent, with my uncle receiving the confirmation SMS with driver details half an hour before the train's arrival.

                This could have been a happy ending of this story, but it turned into a new beginning. The EasyCabs driver reached "Bus Stand" instead of Railway Station. On repeatedly calling him, he said he is coming to Railway Station in 5 mins. Another crux to the story - there was "only one" cab sent.

                Calling up the EasyCabs office to complain about this was dealt very peacefully with the Customer Care executive just informing me that "Due to unavailability of 2 cabs in that area, we sent just 1 cab". And what about the guy reaching to Bus Stand instead of Railway Station? "Because Bus Stand and Railway Station are close by"..

                Afterall, it's also one of those Indian companies who take customers for granted! What if it is at 1 AM, causing huge embarrasment to hosts and inconvenience to guests!!

                  Subject: Legal notice against the false booking and not honoring the booking commitment

                  Dear Sir,

                  1) I am Shishir Tiwari and I had booked Easy Cab for 02 July 2010 via booking ID B001830 to Bangalore City Railway Station at 5 PM. Just before 30 minutes from departure, I called up your customer care and they told me that I will be getting the sms stating the driver’s name, phone number after 10 minutes. When I didn’t get the information by 4:35 PM, I again called up the customer care and I was put on wait indefinitely and I had to cut the put. Right after that call, at 4:42 PM, I got another sms stating that the booking got canceled before o[censored]navailability of cab in my area. I again called up the customer care and then they informed me about the cancellation and also told that they can only confirm the booking 30 minutes before departure. It seemed that as if it was my mistake to trust Easy cabs.

                  2) It is evident from the above your company has indulged in unfair trade practice by not informing me that my booking is not confirmed and it may get cancelled before 30 minutes. It seems that you take the bookings and at the time of reporting, you choose the ones who can yield you better profits without even a slight consideration to the hardships, which the other customers are put to. Your terms and conditions should clearly state this fact that your booking can be cancelled before 30 minutes.

                  3) There is a deficiency in your service as you failed to inform me in advance about the cancellation and I was put into tremendous mental pressure, physical hardship because of this.

                  Hence, as per the rights given to a consumer as per the constitution of India, I call upon you to do the following things:

                  - Clearly provide for the education of customer that you try to find the cab 30 minutes before the departure time and you cancel the booking of the customer if you are unable to find a cab. The same should also come with the confirmation sms.
                  - Clearly specify your booking procedure and the order of preference you give to the customers as if you search the Internet you will find similar stories everywhere. It seems that your company deliberately employ these tactics
                  - Provide the cancellation information to the customers well in advance (more than two hours) so that they can make alternate arrangements. In my case, I was informed mere 15 minutes earlier.
                  - I was put to severe mental agony and physical harassment with my aged parents. I demand you to pay 10000/- towards the damages failing which I will be forced to put up a legal case and go to print, electronic media highlighting this issue for redressal of my complaint.

                  In spite of this legal notice, if you fail to do the above mentioned things and pay the compensation within 15 days from the receipt of the notice and perform other obligations, please note that I will not hesitate to move proper forum, courts of law for redressal of my grievance at your cost.

                    I booked a cab from Easy Cab. I booked it for 17 June, 2010 and made the booking yesterday 16 June, 2010. I booked it for my parents and they are traveling today from Badami house.

                    Just before 30 Minutes from departure I got an sms saying your booking got cancelled. I contact to their customer care immediately and they cut the phone in between. After 2 minutes I got sms saying confirmation of my booking with 5 minutes delay. Right after 2 minutes again I got another sms saying it got canceled before o[censored]navailability of cab in my area. Earlier it was confirmed with Booking Id B000226.
                    I don't made any other booking for my parents and since they are new to city it is difficult for them to go on the place from where they have to go somewhere. They plan to take auto(though this is not convenient for them but they don't have any other option).

                    This is very bad from Easy Cab part. First they are confirming and at last minute they cancelling their conformation. They customer care cut the call in between. This is height of ignorance. I don't know how this company is managing their customers.

                    They need to provide us with some alternative after all its their fault. I am going to file a case

                    I completely agree to this . They are cheats nothing else . I had a similar incident on 14th June 2010 . I had to take a cab from Gurgaon to New Delhi airport at 6AM . I didn't get any communication till 5:30 . Imagine my plight early in the morning in a place like Gurgaon which is so unsafe and the transport is so bad . These people caused so much inconvenience early in morning. They put me on hold for 10 mins and then tell me "Sorry maam we have no cabs avaialble" . They had confirmed the booking the prev night . And that customer care guy wasted more time saying "Maam could u please wait while I lodge a complaint" . "To hell i just wanted my cab on time"

                    I could have missed my flight had it not been a local taxi person who reached my place within 10 mins .
                    Bottom line "DON"T BOOK EASY CABS IF YOU WANT TO GO TO THE AIRPORT" . Its a complete NO NO (in bold and capital) . They can't take customers for granted ..
                    Worst service I have ever seen in my life, please please dont use thier service
                    Easy cabs - , they dont understand the customers requirement in booking the cab,
                    there exist an emergency or travel which is scheduled for train/ flight / or reach particular place within bangalore.

                    Even though the booking is done one day porior to travel, 30m minutes before they send SMS saying
                    "Dear customer, we are sorry to inform your bookinf xxxxx isnot confirmed due to non availability of cab in your area, we regret the inconvinience", then I am struggling to book other cab I called 7 -8 cabs, being its weekend all cabs are engaged, I cabnot go by auto also as my luggage (big size) cannot be taken into auto, no way i have to catch bus, it is high risk in traffic chances are more to miss the train/ bus

                    what the hell they think of, its not easy cabs, it is "book cab if available in your area"
                    easy is for them not for customer, if cab is available near to booked place then only they will come.

                    Easy Cabs — Cancellation of booking/ worst cab service

                    Hi,

                    I had booked a cab on 1st August 2010, booking reference number 2300. Post receipt of booking confirmation the cab did not arrive even 45 minutes after scheduled time. On calling customer service i was informed that the booking is cancelled. On calling the customer service again, I was informed the cab would arrive in 10 minutes. After 1.5 hours from the scheduled time, on calling customer service again, I was informed that the driver would take another 30 minutes and this time they were speaking the truth.

                    With car rental service used, more often than not, for critical travels like to Airports/ Railway Stations, a cab service with such disregard for customer should be stopped.

                    No thanks for the most unreliable cab service in the country.
                    I had faced several misapps by this service provider, I would suggest that No-One Should use thier service Totally Ignore this service

                    I booked a cab from Easy Cab. I booked it for 07 November, 2010 at 15:30 and made the booking a day before on 06 November , 2010 at 18:41 with Booking ID A[protected].

                    They cancelled jsut 15 min prior to my journey. Who would be ans why cab was not send & i have to arrange a new taxi for going.
                    same case happened with me as well recentl. I have booked the cab more than 12 hours in advance and the pick time was 8:30 PM. I got a sms at 8 PM that cab is cancelled. after that it was very difficult for me to reach the destination on time as I had to catch the bus. When I called up customer care, they just said sorry. I think they should inform the customer atleast 2-3 hours in advance so that customer can arrange for other alternative. or they should learn form Meru Cabs where you will get the information at the time of booking itself. e.g. I tried booking cab online on Meru cab website but immediately they inform that cab is not available.

                    I'll suggest you people not to use Easycab. It would be better to use Meru or any other local cab provider. Easy Cab sucks..

                    I had booked 2 easy cabs online on 18th Oct 2012 from Mohammed ali road to Mumbai central station (for 8:40pm), i called back easy cabs to confirm by booking they said booking has been confirmed and they will send a sms with all the details 30 mins prior to the departure time. I got a sms with chauffeur details for 1 cab @ 8pm, when i called the driver he said he`ll not come for the pick up due to traffic in that area and denied to come. i called back the customer service of easy cabs but they were irresponsible in their talks and they said they cant arrange for cabs, and i got a sms around 8:25 pm that my booking for both cabs has been cancelled. Finally i had to take the regular cab.

                    So I would suggest you all NEVER trust Easy cabs and don't take their services as they cancel the booking at last moment, due to this you might get late to reach your destination and even miss your flight/train between this.

                    This is most unreliable and irresponsible cab service i have ever seen. Need to file a case against them.

                      I had booked an Easy Cab on the number 43434343 on 17th of may in the evening for travel from my residence in Banaswadi to Bangalore International Airport. I needed the pick up at 9:30 in the morning. I got a confirmation message for the same on my mobile B000134 from Easy Cabs immediately.
                      Next day morning i waited till 9:00 a.m. but i did not recieve the driver details. I kept calling for half hour on their call centre number which put me on hold for half hour. Finally a lady responded to my call and assured me the driver will be there on time and she will send me the driver details.
                      Despite all of this I did not get any details. I waited till 9:50 and then became desperate. thankfully one meru cab guy agreed to take me.
                      I lodged complaints on their website and i got apology calls from their customer care office. they said due to unavailability of cabs they could not send me one. I find this as the most ridiculous excuse. If I had missed my flight would easy cabs have paid for it?

                      1) I am Shishir Tiwari and I had booked Easy Cab for 02 July 2010 via booking ID B001830 to Bangalore City Railway Station at 5 PM. Just before 30 minutes from departure, I called up your customer care and they told me that I will be getting the sms stating the driver’s name, phone number after 10 minutes. When I didn’t get the information by 4:35 PM, I again called up the customer care and I was put on wait indefinitely and I had to cut the put. Right after that call, at 4:42 PM, I got another sms stating that the booking got canceled before o[censored]navailability of cab in my area. I again called up the customer care and then they informed me about the cancellation and also told that they can only confirm the booking 30 minutes before departure. It seemed that as if it was my mistake to trust Easy cabs.

                      2) It is evident from the above your company has indulged in unfair trade practice by not informing me that my booking is not confirmed and it may get cancelled before 30 minutes. It seems that you take the bookings and at the time of reporting, you choose the ones who can yield you better profits without even a slight consideration to the hardships, which the other customers are put to. Your terms and conditions should clearly state this fact that your booking can be cancelled before 30 minutes.

                      3) There is a deficiency in your service as you failed to inform me in advance about the cancellation and I was put into tremendous mental pressure, physical hardship because of this.

                      Hence, as per the rights given to a consumer as per the constitution of India, I call upon you to do the following things:

                      - Clearly provide for the education of customer that you try to find the cab 30 minutes before the departure time and you cancel the booking of the customer if you are unable to find a cab. The same should also come with the confirmation sms.
                      - Clearly specify your booking procedure and the order of preference you give to the customers as if you search the Internet you will find similar stories everywhere. It seems that your company deliberately employ these tactics
                      - Provide the cancellation information to the customers well in advance (more than two hours) so that they can make alternate arrangements. In my case, I was informed mere 15 minutes earlier.
                      - I was put to severe mental agony and physical harassment with my aged parents. I demand you to pay 10000/- towards the damages failing which I will be forced to put up a legal case and go to print, electronic media highlighting this issue for redressal of my complaint.

                      In spite of this legal notice, if you fail to do the above mentioned things and pay the compensation within 15 days from the receipt of the notice and perform other obligations, please note that I will not hesitate to move proper forum, courts of law for redressal of my grievance at your cost.

                        I had booked Easy Cab on 1st May, 2010 morning 11am to pick me up from RS Palaya (Bangalore 33) to Yeshwantpur Railway Station at 8.45pm the same day. I was confirmed the booking verbally. I asked specifically if there was availability of cabs twice. I did this because prior to calling Easy cabs, I had called Meru and they refused the booking quoting unavailability of cabs. I was told the driver details would be sent half an hour prior to pickup time. Thereafter I get a message at 2.10pm saying "Dear Guest, your booking id for dt 01 May 10 20:45 is B002237. Thank you for choosing Easycabs"

                        At 8.16pm I get a message saying "Dear customer, we are sorry to inform that your booking 2237 is not confirmed due to non-availability of cab in your area. We regret the inconvenience.

                        These people really lack professionalism. These is absolutely irresponsible. If they do not have cab availability, they should inform much in advance so that the customer can make alternate arrangements. This is really inconveniencing the customer.

                        I request your help in this regard.

                        Easy Cab, Bangalore — Harrassment and not meeting Commitment

                        Dear Sir,

                        I was traveling to BangaIore railway station on 08/06/2009 . I had booked a cab with Easy Cabs for 08/06/2009 10:15 PM 24 hours in advance. The cab was confirmed with a booking no as 440 . On 8th the cab did not report to my house at 10:15 PM . On calling them I realized that they even didn't send the cab to my house although the booking was confirmed. They said they are going to send me the cab in another 5 - 10 minutes. After waiting for 10 minutes and calling them back I realized the cab didn't start yet for my house and it's going to start in the next 5 minutes. After waiting for 30 minutes I realized that they are just playing around . When I spoke with them they misbehaved with me .I almost missed my train because of them failing to meet their commitment.

                        I also had a similar problem from Easy cabs. Booked on previous night and getting a confirmation note with a booking id, they cancelled the trip without my knowledge. If they had any operating problem, they could have informed me sufficiently early so that I could have booked another transport. I knew about them cancelling the trip only 15 minutes ago and that too when I called tehm..!!

                          I had booked an Easy cab for an airport drop and had an horrible experience.

                          1. When I called up the Easy Cabs Call Center to re-confirm my booking the previous night, I was put on an call waiting queue and got disconnected after a while. I tried several times calling again and again but the call never got connected.
                          2. The cab arrived 20 minutes late for pick up inspite of telling the cab driver that I need to catch a flight
                          3. The sms on the cab driver details came 4 hours after the pick up time
                          4. Inspite of coming 20 minutes late for pick up the cab driver goes on searching for the fuel station at 4 am in the morning with passengers on board
                          5. This caused me so much of nervousness due to the carelessness of the driver and the Easy Cabs

                          I booked a cab at 4:00AM in the morning for pickup from HSR layout to Cantonment Railway station at 7 30 in the evening. They said they will update the details 30 minutes prior the schedule time. At 7:00 clock they say there is no cab.

                          What kind of service is there where can i get a cab in 30 minutes time. They should atleast inform when we book the cab or say upfront here is no cab in the mornign itself.

                          If they cant provide cab with 13 hours buffer why the hell they have teh cab service. It is disappointing and ridiculous
                          The easy cabs service is real BULL . I can give dem as much bad words as i can. Yesterday nyte i had bookied a cab from m g road at 10:00 PM and when i called easy cab at 10:10PM, they said that cab will reach in ten mins. After 20 mins of long wait, i again tried to call back and den I was put on hold and no one came back for 5 to 7 mins.

                          In future I wont do a mistake of booking an easycab. You guyz be aware of it. This bloody easycab is not et all easy and non reliable.

                          I got a message at 11:00PM after i reached my home. I haven't experienced this with any other cab services in town. Next timke wot i'll do is, i will book a cab and won't board it. Let's see how do they escape from this. when ever i will see an easy cab, i will put a nice scratch on that car.. bloody holes

                          today morning (07th August 2010) at 09:45am with car no KA-03 4544 with sticker no 604 was following me from Race course road till my office in Indiranagar... He was misbehaving and doing all stupid action, i warned him twice near M G Road he was not at all ready to understand and doing the same till i reached office..., which was not at all acceptable for me... It means now that city like BANGALORE, girls cannot go alone here and there... I tried calling EASY CAB to register a complaint about that driver, but its such a pathetic service they don't have any numbers except E-Mail ID which is not at all working...

                          I had booked a cab from your company on 20th August 2010 at about 10.30 pm for picking me up from my residence at BP 5E/14C, NIT Faridabad - 121 001 to be dropped at New Delhi railway Station as I along with my wife and son had to catch Shatabdi Express for Kalka at 7.40 am on 21.8.10. The pickup time I gave was 6.15am. The booking was confirmed and I was told that an sms would be sent to me confirming my booking. At about 11.45 or so I had not received any sms. I called up Easy Cabs are after put on hold for 15 minutes was able to talk to customer care executive, who apologised for the sms not being sent but confirmed that the booking is there.

                          The vehical, a maruti Esteem reached my place at 6.00 am, it was raining at that point of time. I started my journey at 6.25 am and immediatly on boarding the vehical I was sorry for calling the cab. The inside was smelly and the clove was broken, overall it gave a very shabby look. I had no option at that point of time but to continue. After travelling 5-6 kms the vehical broke down. The time was 6.39 am. I immediatly called up your office and apprised them about the situation. They said they will arrage for an alternate but that will take time. I told them that I have already asked taxi stand for a vehical and would take the vehical which comes first, as my train was at 7.40 am.

                          The local taxi came at about 7.00 am and as the replacement vehical from Easy cab had not reached me, I boarded this taxi. As expected I could not catch the train as over 20 precious minutes were lost. I hired another taxi for ISBT, boarded a bus for Chandigarh and with lots of hardship and mental agony reached Chadigarh loosing well over 3 hours. My destination Baru Sahib was 125 kms away in Hamachal Pradesh. Had I boarded the train I would have reached my destination well in day time at about 5 or so. But I missed my train (due to easy cabs) i reached there at 9.30 pm. The rain infected hills were full of land slides and cause of Pathetic services of easy cabs I had to endure great risk on my life and my wife and my 5 year old son.

                          Now I need answers to my below mentioned quaries.

                          1. Is there any one who ensures that the vehicals are well maintained. My understanding is that your company charges a fixed amount from vehical owners every month and give them business. Who would invest on maintenance if they can manage business just like that.

                          2. Had any one seen the vehical which was sent to me, it was not even worth Rs. 5/ km leave aside Rs. 15/ km your company charges.

                          3. I hired a taxi for Rs. 1000/- to New delhi. another one for ISBT charging Rs. 300.00. bought bus tickets for Rs. 820/- Who would pay for that.

                          4. Wasted over an hour to cancell my ticket, lost over 595/-. Who is to be blamed for loss of time, mental agony for standing in queues ( to cancell the ticket) with bag and baggage and small child.

                          To sum up I want to know WHO IS RESPOSIBLE for the mental agony I suffured, the time I lost, the inconvenience I faced, the risk I took, the extra money I had to spent.

                          Some one some where was not doing their duty properly.

                          My suggestion would be that immediatly, you should change your punchline to Making Life Difficult


                          An unconditional apology, cash reimursement of Rs. 2715/- is the least I expect from your company immediatly. or I would be forced to file a complaint to Consumer court.

                          Looking forward to most immediate response.

                          I too had a very bad exp with Easy cab... Booked the cab to catch my train ... I didnt get any call... When I called them, they told servers are down and they can not provide any cab... It was too late to book another cab too... The way the customer service answered my call was worst... Never Ever go for Easy Cab
                          I also have had a torrid experience with easy cabs:
                          I initally made an easy cab booking at 13:00 for a pick up at 18:00 on 02-Nov-10 hours when by booking was taken.

                          When i did not receive any message from easy cab at 18:00 I called up easy cabs call center four times.
                          Booking reference is 1657.

                          The first time i called they said your booking has been confirmed, and i should be receiving cab details in 5 minutes.

                          I waited for 10 minutes and called back at 18:10, when again i get the same response.

                          I call back again at 18:20, and the response is still the same, the car is on the way and i should be receiving details shortly.

                          The fourth time I call they say your booking is cancelled as no cabs are availaible, and a cancellation confirmation was sent at 17:30. How can they even say that when my first query call was itself made at 18:00 hours and the representative said that the cab was confirmed.

                          Then i speak to the floor manager Mr. Sunny whatever his name was, he says that they are sorry and he is sending a cab in the next 10 minutes.

                          Again i wait for 15 minutes and then they say no cab is availaible and they refuse to even talk stating that they are busy. I mean how does a floor manager exhibit such pathetic degree of professioalism.

                          NEVER CHOOSE EASY CABS
                          I booked an easy cab (KA 04 C 3093) on 1st of Jan'11 early morning airport for dropping my mother to airport. It was around 4:30 am and I sat with my mother on the back seat. After checking time I kept phone on the seat and dozed off. I woke up when we almost reached airport (it was past 6 AM). In a hurry to get my mother check-in in time, i forget my phone on the seat. i took a trolley, driver opened the dickey and put luggage on the trolley. The cash receipt read 988/-, but I gave 1000/- to driver and didn't ask for change. I hurried my mother to the departure gate. Just when my mother was entering the gate, I realized that I don't have the cellphone. I requested the security personnel to call my mother and took her phone and called on my mobile. Nobody picked up. I called 2-3 times. Nobody picked up. I called my wife at home to call on my phone and hurried to the easy cab personnel on the taxi lane. They called the parking staff and located the cab, asked their staff to search the phone. I went with the easycab guy, to the parking lot to find out that the driver was sitting relaxed on his seat. When i asked him, he asked me to search the car myself and told the easycab guy something in local language which I didn't understand. I told him that there is no way he could have missed my cellphone on the back seat. He picked his bag from the dickey and asked the easycab guy to search it. The Easycab guy told me that all drivers are directed to deposit all guest belongings at office. I suspect the dirver stole the mobile and gave it to one of his friends / colleagues at airport, so that when I called on my cellphone using the easycab guy's cellphone, it always rang. ALL FUTURE CUSTOMERS OF EASYCAB, PLEASE DON'T TRUST EASYCAB DRIVERS WITH YOUR BELONGINGS AND NEVER FORGO CHANGE DUE BECAUSE THEY DON'T DESERVE THAT.

                          Easy Cabs (Phone[protected] was recommended by several friends. Yesterday we booked Easy Cabs to report at 1830 hrs to drop our guest at City Railway Station. Here's the timeline of what happened.

                          10:26 Confirmatory SMS giving booking nr as 8001275
                          18:01 SMS giving vehicle nr as 2928 and driver's phone nr as[protected] and confirmation that "your cab will reach you as scheduled."
                          18:25 Went downstairs with luggage.
                          1830 No sign of cab. Phoned driver. He said that he's in Hennur and was facing problems with the vehicle. He was "going to phone the office."
                          1832 Went upstairs to get booking nr. Phoned Easy Cabs. He put me on Hold "to verify details."
                          1840 Easy Cabs said that the driver is not picking up the phone and they don't have any spare vehicle.

                          Very poor service indeed. Not once or twice, but thrice I booked the cab and the cab never arrived even after I received the SMS confirmation. Atlast, I have stopped using Easy cab services and all my friends and collegues too.
                          My booking id is B[protected]. I BOOKED the cab from jayanagar to bommanahalli. But before I entered intothe cab itself meter was already displaying 3+ km and within half km I could

Actually from jayanagar to bommanahalli max 180 to 200 ruppes bill should come. But today driver charged 280 rupees. Thats not acceptable.

                          I booked a cab on 3 Feb'14 for 4 Feb'14 at 08.30 Hrs for local use and got Booking ID. On 4 Feb'14, after repeated calls, we got SMS at 08.15 Hrs, saying "cab not available". How can a Corporate Personnel arrange an alternative Cab in 15 mnts (Requested time 08.30Hrs & We got SMS at 08.15Hrs)? This is the Third Time we experienced with Easy Cabs. VERY SAD !!! Not deserved for any Rating.
                          Worst can service, booked a cab at Majestic railway station, driver showed a fraud fare, was arguing when i asked to wait while i confirm charges...recommend not to use the service

                            I arrived at Delhi's International airport on morning of April 4, 2010, and as usual, walked to the Easy Cabs line. I was quickly seated into cab number DL 1RX 6520, and I loaded my entire luggage into the cab.
                            However, after all my luggage was loaded and we were ready to go, the driver of the aforementioned Easy Cab DL 1RX 6520 asked me for Rs 650 to go to Gurgaon - a distance that typically costs Rs 300 on Easy cabs (I have taken the same route at least 10 times on Easy as well as Meru cabs). On top of that, the driver was rude and acted like a bully, forcing me to take my entire luggage out of the cab, and walk back to the airport terminal with the entire luggage. The driver even challenged me to report him to Easy Cabs or the authorities if I dared to - this itself shows his comfort level with what he was doing. I ended up taking a simple Prepaid cab instead, and the driver there was much more polite and honest, even if the car was not in a great condition.
                            It was a terrible experience with Easy cabs, a so-called luxury cab at the International airport of the capital city of the country. I felt like I had been transported to Old Delhi railway station in nineties, and as if I were bargaining with an auto driver.
                            I did not expect this kind of treatment from Easy Cabs. I am a frequent user of fleet taxi services, and will now be extremely hesitant to go to Easy Cabs due to this experience. Easy cabs will need to find ways to discipline its drivers if it wants to grow its business and keep its customers. Else there is no difference between Easy Cabs and auto rikshaws.

                              I had booked for Easy Cab facility (in Bangalore) on 21st March'10 for a 6:45 PM pick-up. As part of their process they would confirm the booking 30 mins prior to the pick-up time. Firstly I think 30 mins is too less a time if they cancel the cab and then passenger has to look out on his own.
                              As I did not get any response till 6:25 PM, I called up their number and was told that the cab was cancelled. After my call I recieved a sms confirming the cancellation at 6:29 PM. This has been my second experience with them of cabs being cancelled and not recieveing an sms within the 30 min time (mentioned as part of their process). I do not think I would be keen to take thier cab facility again, but feel helpless that there may not be too many options and hence the attitude of such service providers.

                              Easy Cabs, Delhi — System problem, late pick up and overcharging by driver

                              i booked a cab with Easy Cabs under reference no. AYA18177 on March 14, 2009 for pick up on March 15, 2009 at 5.30 am to travel from Sohna Road Gurgaon to International Airport Delhi. On 15th morning by 4.30 am, i did not receive their sms giving details of driver and cab no. I called up Easy Cabs, i was told it might have been system error, but the driver is informed and booking is confirmed. Executive also gave me the mobile no. of the driver.

                              It was 5.15 am and i did not receive any call, when i called the driver on the no. provided to me, he said he had no information of pick up. Got panciked, as i must leave by 5.30, i called back Easy cabs, they kept me on hold for 10 minutes and disconnect the phone. Then suddenly i got a call from another no. telling he is the driver for pick. i gave him the directions and he reached @5.45 am, 15 minutes. Though during the journey to Int'l airport he told me he was parked for almost 2 hours near my residence. I again spoke to Easy cabs and explained the above story, they registered compliant against driver that he arrived late and assured me a call back within 48 hours. i requested for call back after 20th March, as i will be abroad.

                              On top of this, when i arrived at airport Driver offered me a printed receipt, which had wrong time [it was of night time] so i returned it and asked to make a manual receit. Driver charged me Rs. 530 for a distance of appx. 24 kms, which in normal case should be Rs. 412 [ 360+52] including toll tax.

                              But Easy Cabs, smart customer support Executive called me when i was in Singapore on International Roaming. i asked to call back after 20th, but they never called back. then i called Easy Cabs again on MArch 25, 2009 to find out the status of my compliant. to my surprise, i was told by Executive Radha, she could not find teh reference no. any way she assured of call back, but so far no call till March 26, 2009 5.15 pm.

                              Meru Cabs — Lack of customer service; cabs dont turn up

                              When Meru cabs started, I was a big fan because at affordable prices, Mumbai had got call-a-cab service. But less than 3 years and there is no accountability.

                              5 experiences with me and my family when Meru cabs have not turned up even after receiving confirmation SMS. Drivers have begun to hold customers at ransom. On multiple instances, drivers have picked up customers on road and ditched the booking made through their call center.

                              For complaints, you are normally 40th in the queue and by then you are negative on patience levels and hence ended up not registering complaints. Though on one occassion, I held more patience and complained but did not follow up on results.

                              But, after 5 experiences, Meru cabs go down to the LEAST PREFERRED cabs. Mumbai is slowly heading back to a scenario when no efficient cabs are available for consumers.

                              Mega cabs do not have enough cabs to cater to Mumbai's demand.
                              Star Cabs are useful only on journeys to Airport/Station
                              Gold cabs are worse than even Fiat cabs
                              And Black and Yellow: Will we ever see entire fleet transforming into modern, consumer-friendly cars?

                              On top of all this, what is lacking amongst all cabs is: Customer Service. Consumer is not the king for them. But that's true with any business: telecom, electricity, government.. list will go on.

                              Problem is deeper and in the roots: Attitude. Do we lack the right attitude to run the service industry? I hope we dont else the India's growth story due to service industry will be short lived.
                              I booked an easy cab on 22/1/10 for an aiaction.rport drop on 23/1. The Booking was taken and SMS acknowledgement recvived for 5:00 AM pickup. Neither the cab details were received one hour earlier nor the driver called. At 5 AM when the cab did not come I called them and it was informed that the cab will be at my door step in 5 min. After 7 follow up with the office and 6 calls to the driver the cab arrived at 5:45 AM. The driver informed me that the he had been allotted the call only at 5:05 and it took time for him to reach the house. Inspite of repeated calling, the Floor Manager refused to come on line and with each call a different Rep will come on line and ask for details. This is horrible service. The driver has to drive at a breakneck speed to 110 KM to reach the airport in time prior to the closing of the counter, putting my and his life at risk. Also it was informed by him that such goo[censored]p are now regular and nobody cares to take
                              Well, i cannot say anything about this your experience. however, it will be appreciated when next you are complaining you should be specific about some facts and figures. 1. there is easycabs in India and also in Nigeria and other country. Where did experience this disconfort? 2. Who are the agents you called without acqurate responses? Pls always state your complains clear.

                              This is the same case happened with me for 3 consecutive times,
                              Easy Cabs has a long way to go. I had a booking for 0900 hours on April 12 confirmed the previous evening. On not receiving an sms or a taxi at the appointed time, when I called Easy Cabs up to find out - they regretted unavailability of taxis in the area and merely shook the problem away. This speaks volumes of the importance the service provider attaches to letting its customers know about availability – leaving no time for the hapless user to make alternate plans!

                              Unfortunately for me, I had another booking at 1630 hours for the same day (via the web, also done the previous evening). A confirmation e-mail was sent by Easy Cabs to my given e-mail. This time I called in and checked in advance for the vehicle availability and am told there is no booking registered with them!!! This despite having an e-mail stating receipt of request and all the details therein!!

                              Some o[censored]s are indeed ruing the recent internal problems that are affecting the plying of a much better service provider, 'Meru' – and are hoping they resolve them soon.
                              As for Easy Cabs, I am reluctant to even mention, not to speak of recommend, them to another user.
                              I have had a similar experience on more than 5 occassions.Especially if you have to leave for an airport or office, It is unacceptable to receive a cancellation sms 30 min before the appointment time and then you need to look for other cabs.EASYCABS is totally unreliable.

                              Easy Cab — Unreliable to the core

                              I had booked an EASYCAB for Railway Station drop service on 17th May 2010 at around 5:30 p.m.

                              The cab was to pick up the concerned person, Mr Makarand Joshi (Traveller) at 8:30 p.m.

                              Exactly at 8:15, a message from EASYCAB informed that the taxi had been canceled, ofcourse void of any explanations or clarifications.

                              A crucial transportation requirement can be justified using a CAB, instead of an auto or bus. But here, it seems the customer stands with a foot in his mouth. Should never ever say that a cab from one of the reputed City Taxi services is reliable!

                              EASYCAB should have not taken the Booking in the first place itself, just the way the other city taxis do, if they are unsure of their commitments. Our Indian Laws per-say, don't reflect any laws for compensation in terms of delay, cancellation of bookings from Service provider's side. The same is taken as a loophole point and harassment to customers is unleashed.

                              Uncontrollable agony is, when after several calls and call-waits you reach the customer service executive-then the supervisor-then the call-centre head, and all he has to say is " We regre tthe inconvenience", "You are supposed to receive a confirmation message 30 minutes prior to the departure time, since you did not receive it, you should have known".. As if, in the last 30 minutes, we have nothing better to do other than reading the messages in the mobile. God help us!

                              The supervisor whom I talked to was Mr Azam Sharif, the Call Centre Supervisor. At least he had the courtesy to LISTEN, which others hardly possess. I cannot blame him totally, but the system is at fault. Taking customers for a ride expecting no-show and sustenance of these idiosyncrasies regularly displayed by SERVICE COMPANIES like EASYCABS, is a direct blow to their Main motive - Customer Satisfaction.

                              Why should I ever ring up Easy-Cabs again? And why shouldn't I let concerned citizens know about the danger in booking with these guys? I have had absolutely no problem with others like Meru Cabs, who are responsive, and strictly say "NO" if they are unsure of providing services at a particular time. I atleast don't have to scratch my head at the end-moment.

                              Kindly avoid the services of EASY-CABS. Today it was me, tomorrow it could be any one o[censored]s Bangaloreans, probably having more crucial travel requirements.

                              Easy Cabs — Customer care not supported at all

                              Dear Sir,

                              I had boked a cab on 18th may from new delhi railway station to noida. I had luggage and 2 senior citizens and that is why I requested for a cab with carrier. But to my suprise the customer executive of easy cab were not at all supportive and were not ready to take my booking. Even after telling them my problem then also they were not ready to help. After that I called again and booked a normal cab but the cab dint show up only. On calling easy cab number they said the cab alloted to me broke down. But there was no flow of information to me regarding the same. When I asked the executive why I was not informed - they dint have an answer. Then when I asked how can I put in a complaint - the executive disconnected my call.

                              Easy Cabs — Very poor service

                              Very very poor experience on Easy Cabs booking.

                              Easy cabs are taking the booking with all smile face sending the confirmation through SMS u will fill relaxed and i[censored] forget to check ur phone's message inbox subbenly will see a messgae from them that ur booking has been cancelled.
                              This is so rediculous that while booking they will not be able to locate the cab and will not say a word on this and all of sudden they will drop u in mess with a simple message.
                              And more over they will be sending U junk messages continously.

                              Subject: Legal notice against the false booking and not honoring the booking commitment

                              Dear Sir,

                              1) I am Shishir Tiwari and I had booked Easy Cab for 02 July 2010 via booking ID B001830 to Bangalore City Railway Station at 5 PM. Just before 30 minutes from departure, I called up your customer care and they told me that I will be getting the sms stating the driver’s name, phone number after 10 minutes. When I didn’t get the information by 4:35 PM, I again called up the customer care and I was put on wait indefinitely and I had to cut the put. Right after that call, at 4:42 PM, I got another sms stating that the booking got canceled before o[censored]navailability of cab in my area. I again called up the customer care and then they informed me about the cancellation and also told that they can only confirm the booking 30 minutes before departure. It seemed that as if it was my mistake to trust Easy cabs.

                              2) It is evident from the above your company has indulged in unfair trade practice by not informing me that my booking is not confirmed and it may get cancelled before 30 minutes. It seems that you take the bookings and at the time of reporting, you choose the ones who can yield you better profits without even a slight consideration to the hardships, which the other customers are put to. Your terms and conditions should clearly state this fact that your booking can be cancelled before 30 minutes.

                              3) There is a deficiency in your service as you failed to inform me in advance about the cancellation and I was put into tremendous mental pressure, physical hardship because of this.

                              Hence, as per the rights given to a consumer as per the constitution of India, I call upon you to do the following things:

                              - Clearly provide for the education of customer that you try to find the cab 30 minutes before the departure time and you cancel the booking of the customer if you are unable to find a cab. The same should also come with the confirmation sms.
                              - Clearly specify your booking procedure and the order of preference you give to the customers as if you search the Internet you will find similar stories everywhere. It seems that your company deliberately employ these tactics
                              - Provide the cancellation information to the customers well in advance (more than two hours) so that they can make alternate arrangements. In my case, I was informed mere 15 minutes earlier.
                              - I was put to severe mental agony and physical harassment with my aged parents. I demand you to pay 10000/- towards the damages failing which I will be forced to put up a legal case and go to print, electronic media highlighting this issue for redressal of my complaint.

                              In spite of this legal notice, if you fail to do the above mentioned things and pay the compensation within 15 days from the receipt of the notice and perform other obligations, please note that I will not hesitate to move proper forum, courts of law for redressal of my grievance at your cost.

                              Easy Cabs — Ditched at the last second

                              I was asked to book a cab for one of my client who was coming from Delhi. First i tried Meru Cabs but they told clearly about the cab unavailability. Next i tried EASY CABS on 43434343. I called the customer care at 8.45pm and booked a cab for 11.45pm. The procedure which he told was that the passenger will immediately get a message of confirmation of the booking and half an hour before the trip he will get a message with the driver number. The fact is nothing happened from the EASY CABS the passenger got a message at 11.50 telling that the trip is cancelled because of cabs unavailability. It was so bad from EASY CABS side that atleast they should have informed the passenger half hour before about the cancellation. Finally the passenger endup in going by auto with all his luckage and paying triple the cost of the meter.
                              BTW, I was also disturbed completely calling the EASY CABS and every time i call it ll be picked by a different person. The people in the customer care also was redirecting me telling the cab is on the way to the Yeshwantpur station. When i asked for the driver's mobile number, he also gave a number which later turned to be an invalid number.
                              This was a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE from EASY CABS and i wont suggest easy cabs to anyone in my life time.

                              Easy Cabs — Dismal service

                              I booked Easy Cabs taxi the previous evening for an early morning ride from home to Bangalore City Station. They sent a confirmation SMS immediately to my mobile with a booking number. But there was no sign of the cab at the specified time next morning, and when I called they coolly told me that the booking was canceled due to vehicle non-availability! They did not bother calling ahead, and I never received the cancellation SMS they had supposedly sent. Thoroughly unprofessional outfit! I will never rely on this company for advance bookings. Compare this with the 'Fast Track' network in Chennai that has never failed me in the 2+ years I have used their service. Their drivers are always in 15 minutes ahead of time.
                              i too had the same experience with them. Friends, Easy cabs are never easy...they simply ditch u.never book that cab.

                              Easy Cabs — Extremely poor service

                              Easycabs never want to take service for within the city travels, they are only there for airport pick up and drop. I had booked a cab yesterday for 5PM. And as usual they said they will confirm before 30 mins pick up time (which is a bogus thing coz' how will people arrange for another cab in 30 mins. Simply horrible) It was 4:45 when I called them to inform that I have not received any message. They said that the cab is booked and confirmed and the driver is on his way. I will get a call from the driver soon. When at 4:55 I still had not received any call from any driver or any message, I called them again to hear that there is no cab available and a cancellation has been sent to me. I had not received any message. On top of that what bugged me was they lied to me that a cab is on its way to pick me up. I had to arrange for some other cab and I was extremely late to arrive for my appointment.

                              Is this the kind of service they offer? Horrible and sick. They don't have any importance for people's sentiments. They are so commercialised that they are not even bothered if we complain. But I want to see to it that action is taken against such services. Please guys, come forward and let's put an end to this horrible drama.

                              I just want some action to be taken against them. I know I am not the only one who has faced such a thing. So people, come forward and SPEAK OUT LOUD
                              Its the same for all Meru/ Easy none of these companies want to ferry short to medium distances, they will confirm and then at last moment send a message of cancellation. The call centre is useless and they give their scripted answers.

                              Easy Cabs — Service not delivered --lot of stress

                              We have booked easy cab service for drop off to city railway station bangalore.We also the called the customer support twice to ensure that the booking is fine and confirmed.They have informed us that i would get the details of the driver before half an hour of departure..but did not get any SMS.We called the customer support again about the same and we were assured that we will get the details..at 4.30 pm ie,the time we have to be picked up...we were mentioned that the cab is not available..Kindly understand the amount of stress we have undergone to make alternative arrangements at the nick of the moment to catch the train on time..When the same was mentioned to the customer support --only apologies from their end and useless reasons that they come to know only before half hour..In this case i was not even informed before half hour...

                              Easy Cab — Poor Service Easy Cab

                              Had a very bad experience with Easy Cab. Booked a cab 2 hrs in advance and got a call from Driver saying that he is coming to the pick up point.And after that when i am trying to call the driver he is not picking up the call. When i called customer service center..they informed that the cab has to be cancelled as no other drivers are available at present.
                              It was very poor service. Please don't rely completely on Easy cab and have alternative ready.
                              i booked a cab from worli to kandivali for 10th june and awaited for the sms to come which is easy cabs normal practe. Till 6 10 pm I didn't get the sms nor did any cab driver call me. Then a driver calls me and says wait for half and hour as I'm at the naka and got to fill petrol. I said will u be here after six thirty? My time slot was six pm. He rudely says - " aapko wait karna hai tou hum aate hai warna jaane do. Aap ja sakte hai"""" Hence I called the customer care to check status and its a mere sorry for the inconvenience that I get to hear... Ridiculous as they do not realise the importance of time or value of a customer. This is my cab detail- Dear Customer, your cab details for Booking ID: A[protected] are - Car No: 2764, Chauffeur No: [protected]. Thank you for choosing EasyCabs.

                              I had booked a easy cab in Mumbai 12hrs prior to my journey, immediately I got the booking sms on my cell. But at the time of my journy they didn't send cahuffer/car details and when I called up to customer care it was in waiting and no one responding. After 20 mins of this pathetic situation I decided to travel by BEST bus I got regrated sms from easy cab that they are not able to serve me. From this we can say they are not lookin from the passengerss point of view, if we they are not in a condition to serve us then it should be a message of cancellation 1 hr prior to journey time as we can look for other options.

                              Cab services - Cel Cabs — Cab not sent for pick-up after confirmation

                              I called Cell Cabs in Hyderabad and booked a cab on 12th August around 11 AM and received a confirmation SMS as well regarding all the details from a number [protected]. I had to board a train in the night from Hyderabad railway station at 10:30 PM so I had booked the cab for 9:30 PM.

                              However I received a call around 8:50 PM that the cab broke down, etc and there would be a delay of 30 mins. I was very angry and disappointed as it had also started raining and if the cab comes at 10:00 PM for pick up (as per them), I could miss my train. I was travelling with my family.

                              This caused a lot of inconvenience and at the nick of the moment I had to take two auto rickshaws in the heavy rains and go to the station.

                              This is definitely not expected.

                              Over and above this I receive another SMS from Cell Cabs (after I hired auto rickshaws) that "we apologise for inconvenience and please book cabs in advance" which is ridiculous as I had already received a confirmation SMS from Cell Cabs in the morning itself.

                              Car Rental — Meru Cabs goof up

                              I had the worst experience today for having booked a Meru Cab to pick me from Kagadasapura and drop me to Sanjay Nagar in Bangalore. The cab was scheduled for 08.30am and I was glad to see the sms on my mobile with the details of the cabbie. I quickly gave the driver a call and to my utter surprise he replied saying that he cannot make it and to call the the office and convey the same message. Apparently this would prompt the office to route another cab in the nearby vicinity. I called the customer care and ther executively politely apologised and offered to assist with another cab in the nearby. I got another sms with the details and I quickly called the driver. Apparently he was somewhere in Domlur and did not have a clue of any of the roads or landmarks in Bangalore. After having talked to the driver in all the languages and make him understand the road and having spend a good 15 minutes, I was certain that the cab was not going to reach my home at 08.30. Since time was against me, I quickly called the customer care to cancel the booked and opted for a rick drop.
                              same case happened with me as well recentl. I have booked the cab more than 12 hours in advance and the pick time was 8:30 PM. I got a sms at 8 PM that cab is cancelled. after that it was very difficult for me to reach the destination on time as I had to catch the bus. When I called up customer care, they just said sorry. I think they should inform the customer atleast 2-3 hours in advance so that customer can arrange for other alternative. or they should learn form Meru Cabs where you will get the information at the time of booking itself. e.g. I tried booking cab online on Meru cab website but immediately they inform that cab is not available.

                              I'll suggest you people not to use Easycab. It would be better to use Meru or any other local cab provider.

                              Easy Cab sucks..
                              This is my fist and worst experience with easycab I had booked a cab from your call centre from Kandivali to Mira Road at 5 pm,The booking number given to me was A[protected].I was told that I will get the cab and driver info before one hr of pick up time.When the details didnt come at 6 pm I called up at the call centre to enquire,but to my shock and disbelief I was told that my booking stands cancelled.This was done even without informing me.I will never suggest anybody to use easycab now onwards
                              Its easily the worst cab service and they shouldnt be offering the service if they're unable to deliver. Even if you're left with no option, you should not book Easycabs; they always confirm the booking (so that you dont try to book anything else) and then dont turn up. Its sheer harassment.
                              very similar situation. If you have very important meeting or appointment, better to avoid easy cabs. The service is very pathetic and confusing. i have faced this situation 3 times now.

                              Following are the chain of events for the last one, after this, i will go wiht meru or private cabs only.

                              1. 5.20pm : I booked a cab for 6 pm same day, asking them to confirm me if the cabs are available. This was very important doctor's appointment, so i double checked.
                              2. 5.35pm: called them back to check the status. they told they will confirm in next 2-3 minutes.
                              3. 5.40pm: got confirmation message with chauffer details and mobile number
                              4. 6.10pm: the driver didnt turn up, so called hte mobile numberof the driver. He says, he has already cancelled this booking by calling back the customer care.
                              5. 6.15pm: I called the customer care, they say, its a confusion. The chauffer has not cancelled but is struck in traffic jam and will come to pick me in 10 minutes.
                              6. 6.25pm: I called the customer care again, as the guy didnt turn up. He says, this booking was cancelled at 5.30 and the sms has already been sent at 5.30pm. Till now i havent received any cancellation sms.
                              This is ridiculous.
                              I booked an Easy Cab to take me from Koramangala to Kalyan Nagar on 1st July, 2012. Veh Number KA 04D371. Booking Id A07016203

                              The Cab driver first asked me if I wanted to go by Ring Road. Since I was new to Bangalore, I asked him to take the shortest route. He brought me through the longest route from Koramangala to KalyanNagar. The fare was Rs. 510.

                              For the same journey on the way from Kalyan Nagar to Koramangala the bill came to Rs. 336. ( Veh KA 04 C 2721) pick up 1130 am.

                              I was overcharged by 174 rupees. Clear case of cheating. This is shameful for a professional organization.

                              The call centre was not helpful. Please do not rely on EasyCabs drivers to take you by shortest route. Be prepared for being taken for a ride!

I haven't received any update through SMS, only get a cancellation msg after pick up time, so missed my flight, during this time I made several calls to call center and they were saying that cab will be there on time. Please don't go for Easy cab ever

                              customer of Easy Cab. I had a bad experience last time. I booked a cab for
                              11.04.2014 with ID no. A[protected]. The car was to reach A-8 Meera Bagh at 2.30
                              pm on 11.04.2014. From there it was to come to my house E-50 Maya Enclave New
                              Delhi-110064 and then to B-185 Hari Nagar and finally New Delhi Railway Station
                              at 5.00 pm to catch Kolkata Rajdhani.

                              The cab reached Meera Bagh at 2.55 pm instead of 2.30pm. Car no. 7127- Driver phone
                              [protected]. When we were near Rajender Nagar the AC stopped. We were told that
                              the CNG has finished and the cab will run on petrol and no AC will be
                              available. As if that was not sufficient the petrol also finished in ten
                              minutes when we were near Kali Bari, Mandir Marg. It was already 4.35pm and the
                              train was at 5.00 pm and we were all senior citizens. One o[censored]s being 84 yrs
                              old. There was a long queue for CNG at Mandir Marg CNG station and only on our
                              request the manager allowed us to jump the queue and gave CNG but not before 10
                              precious minutes was wasted. We reached station at 8 minutes before 5 pm. We
                              could board the train thanks to the coolie who took Rs. 250/-.

                              Easy Cabs — Illegal charges.

                              I am regular custmer of service, but today i book your easy cab, the driver charges illegal charges without any reason. the passenger is a lady With a little baby. so she can't able to take any action againtst that driver. i want to file a complainant agaisnt you.

                              Easy Cabs — misbehavior by the cab driver

                              Easy cab car no DL 1R Y 7601 was wrongly parked in gopinath bazaar, near petrol pump on 11 may 2014 at 2035 hr and when requested to move the driver started misbehaving. if this is the quality service u provide then i am afraid ur company gonna last long. please intimate the action taken
                              I booked to cab from West Patel Nagar to G T Karnal Road, Ashok Vihar on 05.07.2014. My booking ID was A[protected] and pick up time was 8.30 p.m. The cab didn't reach till 8.40 p.m. I called up the Chauffeur ([protected]) thrice but nobody picked up the phone. I called easy cab no and was told that the cab has broken down and that's why it's unable to reach at my place. Then another booking no B[protected] was allotted to me and I was told that cab would reach me in 10-15 minutes. It was around 9.00 p.m and I called the Chauffeur ([protected]) he was in Model Town at that time and I knew that it was not possible to reach West Patel Nagar in 10-15 minutes and therefore cancelled the booking as I was getting late for the occassion. It was very bad experience for me who is regular user of the services provided by the company.
                              I RETURNED FROM HYDERABAD TO MY CITY MUMBAI YESTERDAY AND HAD BOOKED A TAXI THROUGH EASY CABS AFTER PAYING A CONVIENCE FEE OF RS 80.. CODINATOR INSIDE 1B ARRIVAL TERMINAL(MUMBAI DOMESTIC) AIRPORT FOR EASY CAB SAID THE TAXI ID #2619 AND WE WOULD GET THAT OUTSIDE THE AIRPORT..WHEN REACHED WITH SLIP PROVIDED THERE WAS NO TAXI...I CALLED ON DRIVER'S # THAT I RECEIVED THROUGH MESSAGE AFTER BOOKING THE CAB, IT WAS UNREACHABLE..I WAITED FOR 15 MINS THERE WAS NO VECHILE WITH THIS ID...I CALLED EASY CAB CODINATOR INSIDE 1B TERMINAL HE SAID HE WILL SPEAK TO THE DRIVER AND GET BACK TO ME...HE CALLED UP TELLING ME THAT VECHILE IS DOWN AND WOULD SENDING ANOTHER VECHILE IN 2 MINS WITH ID 2800..I WAITED FOR 10 MINS NO ONE TURNED UP I CALLED THE DRIVER HE SAID HE REACHING IN 2 MINS..WAITED FOR ANOTHER 30 MINS NO ONE TURNED UP..I WASTED ABOUT 1 HOUR DOING ALL THIS AND COMPLETELY FURSTATED BY THEY WAY CORDINATOR AND DRIVER WERE FOOLING US..I WENT INSIDE AIRPORT AFTER INFORMING SECURITY HOW THESE EASY CAB GUYS HAVE CAUSED US IMMENSE TROUBLE.ASKED FOR THE REFUND FOR 80 RS AND CAME BACK OUTSIDE BOOKED COOL CAB WHICH I GOT IMMEDIATELY AND REACHED HOME.NEVER EVER I WILL BOOK A EASY CAB AGAIN.VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ABSOLUTELY NO ETHICS HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS.

                                I’m a frequent user of taxi service. The call center executive’s job is over once they inform the driver. There is no one to check if the driver started to the pick up point. 2 times I missed doc’s appointment due to the lack of coordination or responsibility.
                                1) Once I booked Easy cab for my cousin to take her child to a doctor. The cab was 1hr late and she missed the appointment with the doc. Later she had to hire another cab and had to go some other doc.
                                2) This time I booked Easy cab at least 7hrs before the schedule to take my baby to a doctor. We had an appointment at 4pm, this time also the cab did not come on time. So I called the driver he was telling he was in Cantonment railway station which is more than 10km away from my house. He said he would reach home in 15min. But did not happen, so I called him a couple of times and he did not respond. When I called the customer care they said he is on the way and again insisting me to call the driver. I did that and he did not answer the call again. That day I called the customer care at least 5 times (not exaggerating) and I even told them to forward the call to the manager which they did not do.

                                The doctor who we took appointment was a busy person and we missed the appointment had to postpone it.

                                That was the last time I called Easy cabs. I’m happy with the other cab services.
                                If you have anything important Easy cab is not he right choice, do not trust. Let that be your last option.
                                I cannot help but agree with this. I had began using Easycab services last year- initially the response was good. However with my expereinece in the last 6 moths - 3 times consecutively they failed to send me a cab(including today) saying no cab facility available. When each of these 3 times I had ensured to call atleast 3 hours before the requirement. The first time it was in the night and I was in a meeting my reliance being on the factor that I will get a cab when I finish the meeting at 9.30 pm. And waht do I see - and sms saying no can available- only GOD knows how I managed to reach home that day being atelast 12km away from home and noone familiar on the way back. This being my first such experience with easycab I assumed, it maybe because it was late at night so they couldnt get a cab. Next I requested a cab one day Before for a critical ppointment the next day and all I get is an sms 1 hour before departure saying no cab avialable for 10am on a Saturday morning withini Bangaloer City!!!. Finally the cherry on the pie today, called 3 hours before as i was not feeling well ..and here they come with the same sms I have seen past 2 times - "Sorry to inform non -availability of cab in your area" A 24 hours Cab service claiming to provide one when u need does not have cabs...wht can I say...They had built my expectation insitially but sadly they have taken me to the point of deciding I dont ever want to use their services again
                                The worst experience of my 3 week stay in Bangalore today. I was at the outskirts of Bangalore with family including a sick baby and called Easy Cabs at 9:00 PM and they said that we will be picked up at 10:00 PM. I called at 9:20 and then 9:40 to confirm since I did not get any SMS and they said that I will be getting the confirmation soon. At 10:02 PM, when I called them that no cab had come, they said that a cab was 5 minutes away and will be calling me soon. At 10:25 PM, I called them again to complain and asked to speak to a Manager and they told me that the cab was 'cancelled' because there was no cab in the area! I spent the next 30 minutes on phone arguing with at the call centre and their 'flow supervisor' since they would not connect me to the real supervisor and they FAILED to still help me by sending a cab. TWO HOURS after the booking, I was left cabless on a Saturday night with a sick baby far away from the centre of the city. Let this not happen to you - be careful about these guys who want to make the fast buck.

                                  'UNEASY' CAB


                                  The Easy Cab driver, Mr. Kishore (cab no. C-2741)appeared to have been drunken. The driver behaved like a Rowdy, very arrogant and tried to manhandle His Holiness Yogeshwara Sri Krishna Guruji & threw away the luggages from the cab. He did not even heed to the instructions from Easy cab office. Guruji has decided to complain to the police against worst service by the driver & M/s easy cabs. The recorded mobile conversation will reach the media, if apology and alternate immediate service is not forthcoming from Easy Cabs. We have booked Easy cab services hundreds of times through YSK Seva Trust(R). This is the second bad experience from easy cabs.

                                  The Easy cab driver, Kishore insulted H.H.Yogeshwara Sri Krishna Guruji in front of neighbours and misbehaved.

                                  I would like to inform all of you that Easy Cab Drivers are not at all trustworthy...
                                  today morning (07th August 2010) at 09:45am with car no KA-03 4544 with sticker no 604 was following me from Race course road till my office in Indiranagar... He was misbehaving and doing all stupid action, i warned him twice near M G Road he was not at all ready to understand and doing the same till i reached office..., which was not at all acceptable for me... It means now that city like BANGALORE, girls cannot go alone here and there... I tried calling EASY CAB to register a complaint about that driver, but its such a pathetic service they don't have any numbers except E-Mail ID which is not at all working...

                                  Just be careful with Easy Cab Drivers..."Specially Ladies".

                                    I was cheated by Easy Cabs Driver on 27th Aug09.
                                    The Vehicle no. was 0636 - Driver's Cell no.[protected] & Booking ID was 0235
                                    Fare from Leo Continental to the Shamshabad Airport has always been betweeen Rs 525 - 560. Total KMs about 35- 37Kms. This driver took me from a LONGER route - 51.3 Kms & the Fare was Rs. 777.

                                    I had already sent a mail to Easy Cabs through their Website, regarding this complaint but no response has been received. Incidentally no contact emails ids are mentioned where one can send emails.

                                    Because of this I missed the flight to Mumbai & lost a further Rs. 4379 on Flight Ticket.

                                    I would like to be compensated for this Cheating & Loss of Money / Time

                                    I called up tha City Taxi on their phone no. asking them the fare from one station to the other at morning 5.30. I was informed it would be Rs350, so I went ahead and booked it by providing the address details. Next morning after dropping us at the destination I was Charged Rs 470!!!. I called the City taxi guys but they told there was some miscommunication and that I have to pay what the driver says!!
                                    So please beware ! INstead try booking cabs online on IRCTC or other gov websites

                                    I was also cheated by a Driver of Easy Cabs on September 10, 2009 in Hyderabad.My mobile No. is [protected]. My booking ID was B000160 to report at 4.00 pm (16.00 hrs). The Cab No. alloted to me is 0582, and the mobile no. of the driver was given as [protected]. On enquiry, he mentioned his name as "Ramakrishna Goud". I travelled from Alkapuri, which is located between Nagole and LB Nagar Cirlce, to Shamshbad Airport in Hyderabad. The Fare meter reading recorded only Rs. 410.00. He took out a printed receipt for Rs. 450, showing an addition of Service tax of 10.02%, which does not exist. I pointed out to him that I need to pay only Rs. 370.00, as the meter reading was only Rs. 410.00 and I was entitled for 10% discount as per your compny's policy when picked from city. He insisted that Service tax has to be paid, which did not exist. In a hurry to catch the flight, I paid
                                    Rs. 410.00 and checked in to the flight. Then, I contacted Mr. Venkatesh of your office on my mobile, who confirmed that no Service Tax to be Charged. There is a manipulation by the driver in printing the receipt.I request Rs. 40 to be refunded to me and action taken against this driver.I appreciate amn early action please.;[
                                    I have used Easy cab only twice till today, both my experiences were bad with them.

                                    1. Even after making online booking the driver took conveyance charges from us
                                    2. Second booking was done to and fro. Source to destination, wait for 15 mins and back to source. For this the Driver cheated us, he took Double of minimum charges. 180 + 180 = 360, whereas the charges should be 180 + (18Rs.*6KM)=288. The cheater took 72 Rs. extra.

                                    What a rubbish Easy cab website is...there is no provision to give feedback. There is no way by which we can complain about this cheater drivers!!
                                    If you want to reach the Airport/Railway Station on time be sure not to book an Easy Cab. I had two bad experiences. My company had booked two easy cabs, one for the Airport and one for the Kacheguda Railway Station after our annual meeting. Both Drivers began squabbling and claimed that the Airport trip was his... as a result there was no one to drop my colleagues to the Railway Station. Luckily one of our colleagues had a pvt cab booked and it was an SUV. We all climbed into it and took only one Easy Cab to the Airport.
                                    The next instance was when I needed a cab to the Railway Station. I got the confirmation and the drivers details... minutes after getting the driver's details I got a message cancelling my booking telling me that the driver (ph no [protected], Car No TS 09 PTR 3966 wasn't available. Looks as though these chaps have no control over their employees. The Drivers do as they please!!!

                                      I want to share my very bad experience with this Radio Cab taxi[protected]. i booked a radio cab on 13th of june from malviya nagar to new delhi railway station from where i have to take Amritsar Stabdi Express (at 4:30 sharp which i already disclosed to them) at 3:00 pm and i got the message from thereside also that your booking have been done and cab will reach within 15-20 min. but till 3:45 pm i have not got any call or message from driver or radio cab delhi office then i called up to the call center of radio cab and told them i have not got the cab till now then they put me on hold for 5 min and told me that sorry sir we are not able to locate the cab. i told them due to you guys i am gona miss my train, the person on other end said we cant do any thing for you. without any other question i cutted down the phone and rush into the taxi stand from where i got the taxi for railway station (at 4:10 pm) the result was the same i missed my train to punjab but my visit to punjab was so urgent that i have to reach over there at that day itself..for that i have taken a flight from IGI to Amritsar worth Rs.4000 as an employee this cost is very much high to me but i had no other option with me because all other train were late..

                                      i again called to easy cab call center and talked to some senior person also he said we will investigate the things n get back to you with in 24 hrs..but i have not recieved any call till 48 hrs. then again i talked to same person for my rembursement but he said sorry although its our fault but we cant help you out in this case only what we can do is we will give you 30% dicount on your next journey i said hardly i use a cab once a year so its not the way to sattle the case then again he refused to help then i said i will file a case against you people in consumer court he said what ever you want to do you can..

                                      So its my request to all delhi persons don't trust on easy cabs when you are in hurry or traveling for some important work.

                                      Easy Cabs Delhi — inadequate service,cheating,no response to complaint

                                      1. i booked a taxi frompalam crossing near sadar market ahead of mori rd till anand vihar bus stand on 15 april09 around 12.00 am.i was told that will receive a sms within 5 mins of cofirmation.2. i didnot receive a sms(first complaint) when i called back after 15 minutes i was told that taxi is booked and will reach in 15 minutes.after 15 minutes when i called driver on the number given he said he will take another 20 minutes as he is in dwarka(second complaint)3. i called company and cancelled the booking avd proceeded to take an auto or taxi and reached gopinath market. In the meantime the driver called saying he was near by so i called himto gopinath market and hired him.4.the veh meter was not working(third complaint).5.the veh stopped for 30 minutes for cng fill in the heat of summer when i was already sort of time (fourth complaint)6. veh instead of taking me to anand vihar bus stand took me to maharana pratap isbt adistance of 28 km whreas by my idea the distance from gopinath till anand vihar wud be around 20 km(fifth complaint)7.made complaint to mr pranjal around 6.00 pm on 15 apr 09, no intimation of processing and i came to the dvr of cab 6482 was suppose to be somebody else(6 &7 complaint)
                                      Easy cab service is not reliable for quick service .You have to plan at least 2/3 hours in advance.
                                      Management of Easycab is not involved and least interested to deal with customers.No professional approach is visible in providing efficient services.
                                      They have outsource all permits allocated by Delhi Govt. and limited involvement even though Easycab
                                      service was started with pump and show.
                                      My advise to fellow friend is to lodge complaint with Consumer Forum and RTI to Director Transport, Transport Dept. National Capital Region of Delhi, Delhi.
                                      I agree with you i am a frequent traveller, i have also faced the similar problem since i am living at vasant vihar near the airport at times i have picked up my own car and parked at airport lest i miss my flight
                                      I had booked the cab in the night of 26th Jul 09 for pick up at 7 :00 a.m. in the morning on 27th Jul and i got the confirmation message again at 6 a.m. in the morning giving the car no but when the cab did not reach me till 7 :25, i called back to find out and was told that it will reach in 10 mnts .when i called again aftr 10 mnts i gor the same reply .and then the cab finally reached me at 7:40 ...but since i had to reach for meeting at 7:30 and was really furious with this kind of sevice, i called up again to speak to the supervisor and told him that why was i not informed if the cab was getting delayed so thati could make some other arrangement and that i will also deduct moneg as Easy cabs chrges the customer for waiting this gentleman Mr Kailash instead of being apologetic informed me that in this case Easy Cab will not provide me the service in future...i was really shocked to hear that and felt like going to Consumer Court but just that i dont have so much of time to waste i am not doing it ...but just imagine the kind of customer service being given even to customers like me who has been a regular customer of Easy Cabs ...bcoz its ur quick response time proper cutomer service for which people pay you double the charges of your competition...i am sure this was the last time i used Easy Cab service
                                      I nd booked an easy cab from my home in GK-ii to new Delhi railway stn on 22 June 2010; booking ID no.[protected]. It was a hot afternoon - 44 deg C and what I got was a rickety old Esteem with its AC not working. A horrible journey to the station - with my cervical neck in deep pain. Then easycabs does not have any feedback page on their website nor any email address.
                                      i called up easy cab at 2pm and booked a cab on 4th august 2010 for 16:00hrs. and my friends family have to catch chattisgarh sampark kranti. the booking was confirmed. Then after some time i got the booking id, chauffer no etc by sms. at around 3:20 pm i received a sms saying that my booking is cancelled because of non availability of cab. Since my friends family has to travel and has to catch train and that to with small baby. i immediately rushed to local taxi stand to get one. I kept on moving from one stand to another and about after one hour of of hectic effort i could get a taxi by paying 100% premium. I will also advise not to trust easy cab

                                        I hire radio taxi services regularly, almost 10 times a week, as i do not have a consistent driver.

                                        I had ben availaing services from Easy Cabs, although with a mixed satisfaction level.

                                        I had booked a taxi today at 8.15 am for the taxi to pick me up at 9.15 am, giving sufficient notice. I also got an SMS confirming the same with booking no.
                                        However, no taxi arrived and i waited till 9.30. I called their call center and they told me that there was some mistake and the driver is on his way. They assured that the taxi will be there at my house sharp at 9.50. Again till 10 am no taxi turned up. i had to call them up 5 more times. They kept saying that the taxi is on its way and the driver will reach me in few minutes. At around 10.30, after waiting for more than 1.30 hours, i called them and demanded to speak to their managing director. They put me on hold and then disconnected the call. I called them again and asked for the driver's no who was to reach me, but never did so. I got the number and when i called the driver, he said that he is in a different place waiting since 9.30, but for a different passenger. When i told him that the callcenter told me that he would be coming to pick me, he refused saying that he did not have such instructions from the callcenter.

                                        Again i called the call center to get the contact no. of their CEO Rajiv Vij or COO Ashok Vashisht. Tey refused to give their number or email id. I demanded to talk to their supervisor and when i talked to him, he also refused to give the contact no. of the corporate office, but gave another mobile no ([protected]) saying that i could contact them on this easycabs no. I called this number multiple times, but with no one picking up the call.

                                        In spite of messing up with my appointments and causing quite significant damage by not meeting the timelines, they even refuse to connect to the senior people. I can understand people making mistakes, but trying to cover up continuously and avoid escalations by not giving information demanded and giving wrong information is a sign of non-professional organization.

                                        Couple of days back i had booked a cab from easycabs and subsequently cancelled as i was not well. The call center did not inform the driver and the driver had arrived. When i told the driver about the cancellation, he cribbed saying that he did not have any trip since morning and even the first trip is getting cancelled. He said that i need to pay a cancellation fee of Rs 100 and i paid and demanded a receipt. He gave a receipt of Rs 60, which is the minimum charge (for travel upto 4 km, although i did not travel and no waiting time was there for the driver). Subsequently when i checked their website, i could not find any information on any cancellation fee, anywhere in their site (terms & conditions, FAQ etc).

                                        When EasyCabs charges fee (that too for their mistake of not informing their driver), they are not compensating for the undue inconveniences they cause by not coming/ not coming in time. They take their customers for granted .

                                        There should be a regulatory body to regulate the taxi operators and ensure that the consumers are protected.

                                        The worst experience of my 3 week stay in Bangalore today. I was at the outskirts of Bangalore with family including a sick baby and called Easy Cabs at 9:00 PM and they said that we will be picked up at 10:00 PM. I called at 9:20 and then 9:40 to confirm since I did not get any SMS and they said that I will be getting the confirmation soon. At 10:02 PM, when I called them that no cab had come, they said that a cab was 5 minutes away and will be calling me soon. At 10:25 PM, I called them again to complain and asked to speak to a Manager and they told me that the cab was 'cancelled' because there was no cab in the area! I spent the next 30 minutes on phone arguing with at the call centre and their 'flow supervisor' since they would not connect me to the real supervisor and they FAILED to still help me by sending a cab. TWO HOURS after the booking, I was left cabless on a Saturday night with a sick baby far away from the centre of the city. Let this not happen to you - be careful about these guys who want to make the fast buck.

                                        I agree, Easy cabs just takes it too Easy with its customers. They cancel their bookings and casually inform them after their pick up time.

                                        I had done a booking for a 10.30PM Pick up at 8.00 PM. I kept waiting from 10.15 but to my shock, no cab came but I got an SMS that my cab is cancelled at 10.45 PM.

                                        I called up the call centre they assured me a cab at 11.30 PM. but at 11.35 Another message that my booking is confirmed But no sign of cab. 11.45 i get a can cancellation message.

                                        Call centre of easy cabs are very very rude and have no manners. When i reqested to speak to their seniors. I was promptly disconnected. They did this to me for over 5 times.

                                        Imagine depending on them for catching a flight or an important meeting!

                                        They just suck!! I will never ever take an easy cab in this life or next life ( provided it lasts next few years with this kind of service)

                                        Never use a Easycab in the life nor they are the right people to attend the matter. Please read my case otherthan travelling in their cab:-
                                        On 19th November, I was coming from Hebbal flyover and one of their cab bearing Number KA 01 D 6141 hitted back to my Wagnor Car bearing Number KA 01 MA 2314 at Mathikere junction at 6.00 PM ( Sadhasiva Nagar Police Station Limit) and badly got damaged. As per the request from the Driver of Easy cab, Javed Pasha, I lodged a complaint with Easy cab on 20th November morning and they are keep on saying that the matter will be amicably setteled immediately. As I never reported to the police station as per the request from Easy Cab driver as he was carrying passengers from Airport and wants to drop some where in the city urgently. His vehcile was also hitted in the backside by a SKoda Car ( bearing NumberKA 03 MR 135) and the Car belonging to Rayal Comforts Inn, 4th Block, Jayanagar. Easy cab driver had collected Rs 13, 000 from the Managing Director of the Company and went away without repairing my Car. From 20th November to till date, I made almost 30-50 calls to their call centre[protected] and none is interested to connect me to any senior except one - Ismail bearing mobile number [protected] and keeps on postpone his date with me for settlement.

                                        Now I decided to take up the matter with Trasnport department to seize the capitioned Car from the door and register afresh case againist the Easy cab. Whatever the matter, I will go with legal and see they will not run their businesss smoothly in Bangalore.

                                        I request all travellers and car owners to share their expereince in this column about their calous attitude and operation management in all metros in India, specifically in Bangalore.
                                        Please read my above dates are 19th November 2010 and today I already sent out a formal complaint to the Managing Director, Cheif Operating Officer of Easy Cabs with a copy to the Circle Inspector of Sadashiva Nagar Police station, Bangalore to seize the Car of Easycabs from the road till settle my claim. Please update all Easycabs matter to this page so that we can go ahead with this people to protect our travel and property.

                                        I fully agree that none of their management representatives take the complaints seriously except for saying repeated sorry. Their corporate office also seems to have been instructed not to share the telephone nos of their corporate heads.

                                        Will never ever in my life will I use Easy Cab services in Mumbai or elsewhere nor will I ever recommend it to my friends / relatives

                                        Today I had a very bad experience with Easy Cabs.
                                        I had a similar experience. I believe all o[censored]s should get together and spread the message to the community to ensure that EasyCabs is out of business in Bangalore. I have filed a complaint on 11th marcch 2011 and till today I haven't received any message from them. Every time they say it will be addressed "tomorrow by the backend team".

                                        Please never book or use EasyCab - they will through you into tougher situation!! Let us start an EasyCabs boycott campaign.

                                        Easy Cab Bangalore — Cab not Available

                                        Easy Cabs never again. I had book Easycab for airport drop at 9:15 in morning. Had booked the cab 12 hours the day before. They called at 8:50 am to say that cab is not available. Where do i get a cab within 25mins to airport? Would have missed my flight.
                                        The incompetent call center people have no answers except saying we are sorry. Girl who said her name was Gouthi did not pass the phone to her manager. Inspite of me shouting at her she held her phone and kept giving me crap of someone getting back to me in 48 hours. What do i do after 48 hours?

                                        Also most of the time their ACs do not work. 3 times i have been given a taxi without AC and charged full AC charges!

                                        Worst service ever! Someone please come up with a good taxi service to airport!!

                                        My name is Ashish Agrawal. I had booked this cab for Airport. I simply awaited for the cab till 3.15 am on 21.10.11. The scheduled arrival of the Cab was on 21.10.11 at 4.00 am. Since I did not get any communication, I called up at 43434343. The call centre guy told that Your booking is under process & you will get an SMS in next 15 minutes.
                                        Again, I waited for the same.. by 3.40 am when I did not get any message, I called up again..

                                        Every time, I had to be in queue for atleast 10-15 minutes.. The call centre guy replied that Your booking has been cancelled.
                                        This is quite ridiculus to say at the last moment that the booking is cancelled and too when the customer is calling up... Shameful...
                                        Easycab is not at all an EASY BUT UNEASY CAB... It has to be strictly actioned upon...
                                        I am a customer using Easy cab service since the last 3 years! And I am extremely disappointed by the way they value their loyal customers!

                                        Easy Cabs has the worst service. They confirm the booking and expect the customer to follow up with the driver, the drivers cancel at the last moment and the call center has no clue. When you ask them to arrange an alternate cab, they refuse straightaway. Apparently, even the senior executives in the office (Read Ms. Neetu Modi) cannot resolve such issues. They just give some gyan on how important customers are to them. My grandmother was unwell and I desperately needed a cab to visit her. Because of you, I could not make it to the hospital in time!

                                        I will ensure that in every possible social forum, I voice out the discontent and influence numerous 'potential customers' to not use their services at all!

                                        Easy Cabs - Please stop your 'services' as we seriously can do without them. You have no right to call yourselves a 'service provider' as you don't know the first thing about surviving in this industry.

                                        I will ensure none of my friends and acquaintances use Easy Cabs.
