[Resolved]  Indian Oil Gas Cylinder — BOOKING PROBLEM

My Consumer No.-6303 and I am a resident of H.no-4, Rampur, Gitti mc, Chhota Governed, Jamshedpur-831015, JHARKHAND.(My Cell no.-[protected]). M/S Marang Buru Enterprises (Indane Gas), Chhota Governed is the distributor for my connection. When ever I have been trying to contact the said agency the phone remains busy and many time they have a endless hold. I have been trying for more than 15 days over phone continuously for booking the gas cylinder. But I am very sorry to bring to your notice that there is no response from them. The Telephone no. provided by them[protected] remains busy and not answering, the gas has not been booked. Every time I have to face this problem for booking of Gas Cylinder.
Kindly look into the matter and ask the distributor to set his system, and have some acknowledgment system to overcome this situation.

How long people are going to make complaints like this? No idea. When U ask for Rs.70, please see that preset is done for Rs.70 by the operator using the keypad. 70 can be seen on both the main display and the keypad display(smaller). As soon as the nozzle is lifted the meter display shows 0. It increases as the delivery starts. Delivery is stopped automatically when meter shows 70. Nozzle is put back in position. Now also the display shows 70. But observe one more thing, the keypad display(smaller display) changes to 0 as soon as the delivery is completed to the set qty/amount and during the entire delivery time it shows 70. The petrol pump meter is the only meter both buyer/seller should watch. If it is correct that's all. Mileage depends not only on petrol but other factors like leakage, vehicle condition, age, tyre pressure, city ride...even petrol theft and so many.
And still if you feel you have been cheated, ask your friends to find a trustworthy petrol pump.

Indian Oil — Not providing domestic gas connection

Respected Sir,
I had applied for a new domestic Indane Gas connection, as per following details:-
• Name of Gas Agency :- Kasna Indane Gas Service Shop No.16 H Alpha-II, Greator Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Pin 203208
• Date of Application :- 20th March 2010
• Date of receiving of intimation letter :- 16th May 2010
• My booking No. as per intimation letter---- [protected]
• Report to said agency on – 17th May 2010
• Again Report to said agency on –17th June 2010
• Again report to agency on –01st July, 2010
• Again report to agency on –09th July, 2010

After receiving the intimation letter I approached the said agency on 17th May, 2010 to release the connection. I have been told to come on 17th June. As per their instruction, I again approached to 17th June & again I have been told to come on 01st July. Another time, as per their instruction I approached to 01st July & again I get the standard reply to come on 09th July, 2010. Once more when I approached them on 09th July, I have been told not to come to this office & they will inform when the connection will be available.
Indane is one of the reputed companies of our country. But the manner of this Gas Agency ( Kasna Indane Gas Service, Greater Noida) is shameful for prestigious Indane Gas Service. The behavior and attitude of officers of this Agency is very rude. I belong to rural area, which is 16 km away from this Gas Agency. But, I visited this agency five times as per their instruction. Surprisingly, they are making new connections even to those who have applied later than me. I have been told by one outsider (tout) that if you need a connection you have to pay some extra money.
As per the rule of Indane Gas, On registration the distributor will send you an intimation letter through registered post. You need to carry the letter and the envelop to the distributor to avail the connection. The Indane connection will be released to you immediately. But contrary to this rule, I have not been able to get my connection so far.
I am in need of gas connection on urgent basis. Since last two months I made all the efforts but I fail to get the connection.
Considering my problem sympathetically, it is requested that kindly help me in getting the gas connection.

This is to request you to kindly instruct the necessary officials to supply the gas cylinder ASAP as we are facing difficulties.

This is to complain against Messers Swatantra Gas Agency, Kanpur. Although it has been widely published in the newspapers, (Dainik Jagran - kanpur edition, dated 8th July 2010) that there is no restriction for booking a gas cylinder before 21 days, yet this agency denies to take any booking before the said time. His telephone lines are always busy and if you go personally to book in his office, you will be humiliated as if you are not a cutomer, but a beggar at his mercy. All the consumers in the area feel as if held hostage by the agency. Indian Oil should atleast keep a tap on their agents who by the years have turned into Mafias, troubling the population who have no private options available, but to suffer at the hands of Govt. Companies. I am scared to give my connection No. in fear of furthur harrassments from the agency.
My consumer no.235 and I am a resident of H.No.1013, Kayasthwara, Sikandrabad, Distt- Bulanshahar(U.P.) (My cell No. is [protected]) M/s Jyoti Flames (Indian Gas) is the distributor for my connection.

He is not reissuing my booking booklet. My father was expired 20 years back and now he is saying that it needs to be transfered to your mother name. We have produced some of the documents like death certificate from the hospital, death certificate from the court also. Even then he is not reissuing it.

He is doing mono poly in this locality whenever we need to reissue a booking booklet, it is compulsion to take the Gas tube from the Distributor. My mother lives alone over there and she is a senior citizen also.I have already taken 2 leaves for this work but those were also vain. He meets the people in between 4.30 to 5.30 only and most of the time he remains out of the office.

Kindly look into the matter and ask the distributor to set his system to overcome this situation.
Respected Madam,
I am a consumer of Birsamunda Indane Gas, Bargarh. My consumer No. is 3178 in the name of Jhojan Low i booked one refill on 30.06.2010 and my booking No. is 1803 till now i did not get my refill. The distributor always say that after one or two days you will get. Every month we will get the same problem, so please kindly take necessary steps and do the needful action.

I Jose mon my connection no. M-4382, I booked cooking gas on 6th August 2010 at Maheshwari Gass Service at Madangir DDA Flats. The said persion promised me after three days they will deliver gass at my residence. Till date they are not delived. And also I would like to say that, they were never attend phone calls. So I requesting you to please look into this matter and improve better service for public.

Indane Gas — misbehaviour by the employer

sir , 1 my indian oil customer no is 67227 in name of major vishal sood, sai garden ,10th cross street,dhandeeshwaramnagar,velachery 2. I wife of mr VISHAL SOODwant to submit my complaint against one of your employee who came today on 6sep 2010 and insisted for gas inspection.I asked him to show his identity proof and he refused to show that .since my husband was not at home and he was not carrying any id proof i refused him to do the inspection.3.This person then misbehaved with the lonely lady at home and threatened that i will stop your bookings on this gas connection g if any member of the indian oil comes then it should be on prior information through newspaper and moreover he should carry his id proof .mine is an old connection and not anew connection kindly necessary action should be taken

For the last 4/5 days, I m trying to book LPG Cylinder through telephone to my Dealer, but nobody is there to attend the call. Sometimes phones are busy and sometimes phones are not attended. Hence I am facing a lot of problem.

I have booked for refiling of cylinder on 30/8/2010at my locoal office cuttack but it have not delivered yet it is too late & I am dialled their no. to know about our cylinder delivery they answered that it will be delivered to-day (20/9/10). Again I personally went there and reminded their about the supply of gas on (24/9/2010). I am yet to get the gas. My consumer no 4971. dealer Indane gas . Mohanty Pada Kafala Bazar. CUTTACK-753002. i mr abdul kabeer u s my consumer number 19437 in gas agency wadakanchery.20th september one call from gas supplier when supplying my home area that time i not present in my home so return back my cylinder to gas agency. after two days i go to gas agency wadakanchery to collect my gas cylinder but not give me from gas agency and telling me only you will get your supplier. .since than after making daily telephone call they simply said today and tomorrow surely will deliver gas cylinder.. but not yet get cylinder during this time. and arrange to collect individual from gas agency system. it, s daily basis problem so plaese take strong & firm steps to punish

Although it has been widely published in the newspapers, (Dainik Jagran - kanpur edition, dated 8th July 2010) that there is no restriction for booking a gas cylinder before 21 days, yet this agency denies to take any booking before the said time. His telephone lines are always busy or this tone will hear that this telephone is temporary out of order. I have no time to book my gas personally in his office. Some times feels that I am not a customer, but a beggar at his mercy. Indian Oil should atleast keep a tap on their agents who by the years have turned into Mafias, troubling the population who have no private options available, but to suffer at the hands of Govt. Companies. I am scared to give my connection No. in fear of furthur harrassmentsfrom the agency. I hope, Administration should watch and make necessary arrangement to book the gas cylender over phone.

ioc hyderabad office door no 3-63436 to 438 telephone nos [protected] and [protected] they never lift the phones. even if you go to their office personally hardly we see employees in the office. if we ask for any help regarding they out rightly refuses to us and the simply answer is we do not know. meet the manager. but manager is always out of office. then, then there is no meaning giving complaint numbers. hyderabad ioc office is just a sick office .government is wasting public money paying salaries to these white elephants .

concerned officials may please look in to this . on behalf of consumers i request to take firm action against these negligent employees.
