Vodafone has cheated me.i was vodafone prepaid customer.once vodafone marketing executive has called me tand told about a plan in post paid, plan is Rs. 299 plan in that you will get 1000 min voda to voda absolutly free 1000 voda to voda sms free and after that call charges will be 10p/m on voda to voda and in others .60p/m. but after migrating my prepaid to postpaid . he has given some different plan and charging very high call rates.
and when i told revert back my connection in prepaid then he told it is not possible before three month. and tour all validity and others things that was on pre paid will be lost your connection will be treted as fresh connection.
now i am unable to go vodafone prepaid or postpaid...

This is Akhilesh Karn and subscriber of Vodafone prepaid from 1.6 yrs. This march i had switched from prepaid to post paid after the persuasion of CCE, opted for 250/- plan. For activation one need to visit branch, so when i visited branch i was convinced by Vodafone executive for another plan- 998/-.
So according to that Vodafone executive of Vasanth vihar branch i had cancelled that previous plan of 250/- and opted for 998/- plan.
But till date i have not received my 250/- back .now my no. is [protected].
May i know any feedback on this case.

Dear Sir/Madam,
SUB: Unauthorised disruption/disconnection of services
This is bring your notice that I am the owner of your mobile No. [protected] issued in the month of March 2008, Since then there has been lot of problems created by your customer care who without any rime and reason discontinued/barred/restricted my services on the aforesaid mobile number despite the fact that I have never ever defaulted in making any payment whenever the bill is issued on me. I have been informed by your customer care services that they will keep on debarring my services if I do not make interim payments for which no bills has issued. The aforesaid practice of debarring services by you is contrary to all principles of law and this is nothing but an arm twisting tactics to extract money from honest customer who pays his bill before due date. It is further brought to your knowledge that you have failed reactivate despite facts that I have paid you several times the interim payment amount for which you have never raised the bills, the last interim payment is made on 27.05.08 for an amount of Rs. 1000.00 and on 29.05.08 by 2.30 p.m. again my services are debbared without any notice. The practice of asking without bill and discontinuing services without notice and prior to the due date of payment is totally uncalled for and is arbitrary action on you part and is unfair trade practice. You cannot be allowed harass your customer at your whims and fancies and subject him to meet your undue/illegal demands.
Your arbitrary and illegal actions has caused great loss of business and you shall be liable to compensate the undersigned for all the loss that has occurred to the undersigned due to your various acts, omission and commission.
By way of this notice I hereby call upon you to restore the services with immediate effect failing which I shall seek my remedies before appropriate court of law.
This notice is without prejudice to my rights and contentions as available to me in law.

Vodafone — regarding free local sms
Hello, my name is Ranjit ([protected])I am very unhappy with the Vodafone service provider (111) .I got a message from Vodafone on 19 may 2008 regarding 295 plan.The plan insisted lifetime validity +250 talk time + 250 local sms free.But i got lifetime validity + 250 talk time but i got only 20 local sms free after that i was charged for the same.I repeatedly called the customer care i spoke to Aswini & Deelip in fact this people twisted me badly, sorry to say .But they are giving me different types of answers, am very annoyed with this type of people who are been appointed by vadafone.infact i feel this are common with vadafone still now i've experienced.

Vodafone — Contact Service being displayed
My sim is displaying contact serviec when i switched on my cell. i dont hav any other phone to contact customer care even. i m stuck, its terrible prob for me.Vodafone — keeping the service suspended

I have bought a new prepaid connection from Vodafone. I submitted my ID proof on 30th May 2008. on 1st June midnight (1:57 am) I recieved a message from Vodafone stating that my outgoing service will be discontinued due to non-submission of documents. First of all I am through with the all the necessary process required and secondy there is no such rule of sending an SMS that late. Vodafone, Delhi — New Conection: False promises
I will try to be brief: applied for ADD ON number from my previous number [protected] on 1st may 2008. Following are the goof-ups from their side:1) The executive came to meet me with just one SIM card with no choice of numbers and the number which he gave was also the wrong number
2) My add number finally given was [protected] which go activated after almost 10 days.
3) I was promosed that I will get a VCD free but till date I haven't received as I was told that it will be sent in 2-3 days, then I was told it will be send thru BILL---till date I am still waiting.
4) Funniest part is that these Customer Executives ( DUFFERS of the first order with no knowledge) calls me after nearly 20 days for a WELCOME CALL.
I have called their VODAFONE CARE and also given 2 written complaints but to no vain.
I have decided not to pay the bill till I get the much promised VCD.

Vodafone — privacy
i've been using this service from over six months.without my permission they have let out my sms and call details to some other person.how can they let out personal information.when they are not able to provide security to its users it's of no use to use this service.just because of this, today i'm facing a lot of problems.if the company doesn't take it as a serious issue, we are going to file a case.
