We take reference to our repeated telecon the undersigned had with your local office on the above subject.

This is my first experience with Whirlpool and regret to say this turns out be my nightmarish experience I had so far having bought a Whirlpool brand AC.

I have bought a Whirlpool A.C Model No:1466, Serial No:10344 on 02 09 2008 from M/s.Rathna Stores, Purasaiwalkam, Chennai. I had faced Noise problem in AC within ten days period and it was serviced by your Service Engineer Mr.Ganesh. We had faced another problem with Fan motor on[protected] and registered a complaint through telephone. The complaint reference number is 30032.

After hectic follow up from our side, your service Engineer visited our office after a week time and got the complaint registered on paper. What a service! You take 7 Days to respond to a complaint. Is it your standard? This is what you give it to a customer who buys your product for the first time. Sorry to say you have to relook in to your system.

Having responded after a week, your team failed miserably in resolving the complaint as a result I am suffering without AC for 15 days. When I contacted, we got poor response from your team and I doubt whether they have capability to handle customer issue. The reply from your team is we don’t have Fan Motor as spare and we will service it and give it.

I request you to kindly intervene and arrange for New AC as soon as possible. In case any further delay, we will be forced to take legal course of action.

Trust you understand the value of the customer and act swiftly.

I bought an Air-condition a month ago dated at 2/09/08. Within a week minor fault occurred, fault had been rectified on my complaint. But after 15 days Air-condition had been completely failed again. Service engineer visited and identified problem that fan was out of order. (Service engineer visited also on many time our registered).he took to visit 20 days, after the complaint was identified no one visit and given us solution. My requisition has been registered for rectified the problem many so far. no response from there till now. I very much suffered.

Dear Manager,

I got pruchased "Master Mind" 0.8 Ton Window A/C. From the day 19th / April / 09 establish in the room & found cooling is not there even in Night. Wait couple of day's A/c is new may take some time to set but failure.

Drafted a colpmaint by 21st/ April / 09 (DL[protected], after a very hetic follow up with customer care & called them up 5-6 times in a day junior Enginner visit's name Amarjeet, a very gud & decent guy in all way. As per him cooling is ok. But my self not satisfied on that time, but agree to wait for more couple of day's.

Again drafted a complaint 04 / May / 09 (DL[protected] requested for seniour engineer visit. Cnfm by ur c/care executive it would be rectified by today +ively. No one come & not even call confiramtion.

From yesterday & today m still seeking ur guy visit at my home. Not happened. But some Mr. Parvesh, called me twice in the same a/m day to inform me that our person would visit you by 08/May/09. Not acceptable at all, complaint longe by 04/May, cnmfirmation for complaint come by 06/May. Engineer would visit 08//May. Sir, ur team like to play game with coustomer.

If this could happen to me, it could happen to any one. Is this ur way to provide customer servises. sorry to admit this but truth absolutely useless to run these kind of customer care...

1) Why ...If you coustmer care exe. cnfm one request, Why engenieer's not visiting coustmer's on time.
Make sure before visiting, some one will hve to clr the question, o/wise no one will entertain ur guy at Home.

Sir, having A/c but can't cool room bcoz not working gud in month of May in Delhi. Do you think it is ok.

Whirlpool — no response of my complaint

i have complain to co. toll free no. on dated 28 july 2112 at 10:00 am for not of my split ac but unfotunatelymy complaint is nit attended by your company at 9:00 pm today. you are requested to arrange to repair my ac as earliest as possible to avoid inconvience and good will of your company to attend the complain within 24 hours my mobile no is [protected].

    I have purchased a whirlpool inverter ELANTRA Model on09.08.2009.my inverter is under warranty period. My inverter totally dead in condition. I have docketed this problem on 21st May. After this one of your service engineer was visited my house, and he told me the inverter has some parts problem which is not available right now.

    Standing at 15 th day I don’t have received any call from your side. I used to call everyday to the call centre number ([protected]), they are saying your engineer visit on that day (the date of calling). But nobody had come,

    We are totally dissatisfied for this type of miss commitment. Be a big or renowned organization you should look after this matter.
    Including me we have 3nos of wirlpool inverter; we never faced this type of service problem.

    So please do the needful as soon as possible, otherwise we have to quit other company.

      I purchase a product from Whirlpool. I'm reliazing a lot that i've made a big mistake in going for it.
      the product didn't performed for a particular feature " E -light" the day i switched it on.
      when i gave the complaint on 18th Aug 2008, the service engineer made no. of visits to my home and informed us that the product needs to be replaced with new one on 28th Aug 2008, which will be delivered in 10-15 days. To know the status i called the customer care 66850000 in the first week of sep'08 to my surprise they informed me that the complaint is closed?!?! when asking to back-trace the complaint history also they are not able to tell me when it got resolved. i told the complaint is still pending and needs replacement of the product. customer care informed me that they'll inform the service centre and they'll call me back.
      when i called again on 22nd and 30th sep 2008 But to my surprise they informed me the call closed. again i registered the call.
      i'm not sure will they replace the product or the money paid to the product is just waste

      Whirlpool Refrigerator — No response

      i had purchased whirlpool refridgerator on 18 april 2009.
      model no 11052 dlx. the day the fridge was installed the bottle rack was missing and the stabliser too purchased stopped working after two days.inspite of making several complains the issue has not been sorted out. and the engineers who have attended have not been up to mark.
      my complain nos are :2952,8379,5139,11943,5143. as you can see so many complains and not yet resolved. dont expect such services from an esteemed company as yours.

      whirlpool refridgerator — no response from company

      we own a whirlpool fridge 350 lit brougth on 9 may ,2003.since then we have repaired the fridge almost 8 to 9 times .every time we give a call to the whirlpool service centre there is no response until we call for 3 to 4 times a day .we have opted for their home care plan & still we are not provided with the service .this time they have crossed the limits they are tellling us that the company does not have the compressors for the fridge so we have to wait for 8 to 15 days.home care plan changes every now & then .company has 100s of phone nos which are of no use.

      the fridge is registered in my wifes name, we bought whirlpool doubledoor refridgerator in 2006 from s.c.shah mount road, we have already called 2-3 times the executive and spent money which can be verified with whirlpool itself.
      moreover for the complaint done on 24th february till today 9th march2010 nothing constructive has been done. we have been just paying the consultancy charges if he steps.
      imagine a life without fridge even after paying full amount for 15 days and 2 infant kids at home. initially the personnel said that it is happening due to no stabilizer,where as on purchase we were old about the latet technology of inbuilt stabilizer anyways we have paid 1500 for the same to the official but the running fridge which was just not getting cooler got completely stopped after the engineer came.
      next he said some board has to be changed for a charge of[protected]. initially the part was not available but atlast when the part came the engineer is saying that your compressor has gone. the part changed shows a date of november 2007. how can a fridge of 2006 have a part of 2007 and again be replaced.
      still the compressor comes under 5 years warranty which is to be replaced but no response.
      call centre are helpless and there is no direct registration in internet when tried so this complaint for the mental torture,agony and prolems faced by small family o[censored]s.

      Whirlpool Refrigerator — not proper response by company

      We are using whirlphool refrigerator & its under warranty period.During this period their refrigerator compressor fails to work which have 7 years waranty.we have launch the complaint Our complaint nos is AH[protected] but still they are not giving proper response Uptill today on 24th may 12:55 PM 2010 & our refrigerator is still like that.My mobile nos. is [protected] & my name is kandarp K bhatt.

        I have purchased sensation elite last year MAR07 from the begining machine was giving DLE error .Then after lot of follow up machine was replaced by whirlpool in nov 07 after using for few months machine again started giving DLE error service person could not resolve the issue and now machine stops with FE error where as there is no problem of water source .This a very poor product and even service persons don't know how to handle this product .I recommend no one should ever buy whirlpool front loading washing machines.

        not a single service engineer could solve the problem.Service engineers are not bothered.I have spent 25 thousand on the product to get the best ...now whirlpool has realy tried me out.I want my refund.self have a newborn baby at home and hence this is causing a lot of problem.

        I can understand your problem as i am facing the same DLE error problem on Whirlpool Professional Sport washing machine. Keep the product as long as it last thats it. Yes money is lost and they won't refund it. We have to bear with it. I never ever faced such problems with my LG washing machine. I don't know why i opted for whirlpool and took a wrong decision which i am repenting till today.

          I had purchased a whirlpool microwave oven - WHIMT22C on 30th August 2007. Just completing the warranty period, the oven stopped working and was taken to the authorized service center at Trivandrum. On diagnosis, it was found that PCB was defective and need to be replaced or repaired. The charge for the same is approximately Rs.3000.

          Purchasing the product from a company like Whirlpool, there were a lot of expectations on the quality of the product. Even with minimal use over an year, if the product has become defective, we doubt the quality of the product.

          Please let us know whether we should repair this or throw the product away and purchase a new brand product as every year we cannot pay 3000 plus amount for the maintenance of the product.

            Pathetic customer service - Hyderabad

            I had registered a complaint with Whirlpool customer care, here in Hyderabad on the 16th (Complaint number: [protected]), as my washing machine stopped working. A total goofball showed up on the 17th who had no clue about what was needed to be done. Even his tester was not working. He undid and then tightened some screws here and there and finally declared that the timer is faulty. He said he will bring a new one in 2 days and left.

            Sir,
            I have purchased a Whirlpool washing machine model sensational Elite Sl.No.INBO71602405 on 21.05.07. There have been frequent problems with the machine and almost all the service personnel visited our house frequently. I am not able to have the list of visits and the nature of complaints as they are giving any call sheet or copy of the details of fault attended on each visit.
            In the present context, I have booked a complaint on 14.10.2008 that my washing machine is not working thro call centre. The docket number is 14684.For want of a spare part my washing machine has not been attended till date. Imagine the problem of not having a washing machine for 10 days that too in the rainy season.
            There is no sensation of Elite in having the whirlpool washing machine. The machine supplied to me is a scrap for which I am suffering.
            When I discuss with my friends regarding washing machine I say with folded hands not to go in for the Whirlpool Brand but to go in for either IFB or Siemens.
            I am (not) expecting the miracle of replacement of the machine (which I genuinely deserve), but only timely service because sins once committed cannot be absolved.

            My name is Subhashini. I am from Chennai, India. Siemens service in India, is the worst one you can ever get.I dint know whom to contact to talk about this.
            I bought my machine WM-A0716 on 18th july 2006. The machine started running slow in july 2008. I called siemens service centre @[protected]. They said they would come and nobody turned up.I waited for a month.During first week of september 08, icalled them back, even then no one came, every week i kept on calling, they would say yes we will send service person, thats all. On 27 sep 08, i talkled to chennai manger Mr.Ramesh and he send me service on that day.The service person diagnosed shaft problem in machine and gave me bill for 3500/-INR. I called Mr.Ramesh and wanted explanantion for the same.He agreed his fault for not having send service person in time nad said he would repair my machine under waarranty. Thereafter no one cme to pick the machine at all. There are on ly 2-3 girls in the call centre.The moment i tell my name the girls seemed to give some irresponsible answer for not picking the machine. On 6th of october, again after so much of complaining, they picked up the machine from home. And now its 3rd of november and i dont know what they re doing with my machine.Till this date no body has called me from siemens regarding it.I call them every week to find the status. The manger said, on fixing the shaft they had leakage nd then misalingment. He agrees its his technician's problem. BUt every time the answer is "machine should be ready by nexrt week".I called Mumbai call centre, they said Mr.Mahesh would call me, he also dint cll me.Chennai office is shiftd and i dont know their new address.The machine costed 24000/-INR(approx). Please give me some authority's contact who would ansmwer me.
            This is not a rare incidence..If you visit http://www.compareindia.com/complaint-box/ there are mnay such complaints on Siemens there. Please raise it to concerned authority. If not stop selling your machine in India.

              I got email id from a lady when i called[protected]. this email id was for executive @ whirlpoon india.
              I have purchased whirpool's NEAT N fresh tuppelware refrigerator kit for Rs.1200
              when i visited the dealer it was for Rs.1050
              MRP on the kit is Rs.1200 and we called the guy to repair AC and he bought is along with him. Prices on MRP is always more then sal price.. we are i think fooled for RS. 150 extra.
              please check on this as my next action would be media and web publishment of this issue and fraud. i have done that with nestle in past.


              You can yourself call the dealer @[protected] and just be a customer and ask for the price of NEAT n FRESH accessory kit from whirlpool.

              This is disguting... ppl from whirlpool coming at ur place and selling things more then what's in the market.

              I had purchased Whirlpool FF 350 Litre Double door refrigerator in 2003. Since then my refirigerator has been giving trouble. Almost every year its compressor has been replaced by the franchisee of the company but the problem continued to be experienced at a frequency of less than a year. The problem has grossly aggravated during last couple of years as gas (R 123) leakage has occurred at a frequency of almost 5 to 7 months. This burdened me with unnessary payment of Rs. 400 as service charge as and when company's service engineer had been called, which would have resulted in payment of atleast Rs. 5000/- on account of periodic repairs within warranty period.

              I feel grossly cheated by the service provider of the company resulting in huge financial loss to me, which was purely on account of manufacturing defect.

              I would request you to look into the matter and provide me the requisite relief. From the records of repairs done on my refirgerator due to compressor defect, I should be compensated by replacement of new refrigerator.

              I HAVE PURCHASE A 170 LTR. WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR ON BEHALF OF MR. DHRUV KUMAR PATHAK,
              RADHA BALABH MANDIR, VRINDAVAN.BUT IT WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY, COOLING IS DONE & ELECTRICAL SHOCKING ALSO.
              Recently I had visited few dealers to find out the prices for Refrigerators of Whirlpool makes. The dealers prices differ from 4 to 5 thousands for the same capacity of similar models. It is very difficult to digest such an exhorbitant price variations.
              I have purchased double door Fridge and got lot of problems i..e no cooling, totally all vegetables and all items have been spoiled.When we made complaint the response for new fridge is almost not upto the mark.Again several times we requested thru customer care by calling several people like Divya, Rampriya, Magna, Anand Team leader, Pratush, Dakshin, Raju, Lavanya, Balaji, Shyauddin, Sukanya, Pratapetc... and I felt very bad for calling all these bloody people which is of no use.They were coming to the line just like fashion show and not for help.They themselves asked us to write to whrilpool and todya also Mr.Raju from chennai asked us to write to whirilpool insetad of attending my problem.Pl. help us how to bare these things.!!!

              This is really bad experience after marking so many complaints there is no permanent solution received from your end.

              I had purchased double door Refrigerator around 7-8 months back but from first day we r facing some major problems, for that, we r continue contacting your customer care and after so many complaints the major part of Refrigerator (compressor) had been replaced.

              But after replacement the problem is still not resolved. There is big bulky noise regular coming from Refrigerator.

              Again last week I had spoken with Mr. Sanjay Gautom he has ensured some Sr. engineer will be visit and take care of the entire problem. But till yet no engineer had visited.

              Again today I called up your customer car to talk with your agent. (Compliant Number DL [protected]) engineer had visited but unable to find and resolve the issue.



              Now this time I need the permanent solution from ur end. Otherwise unfortunately I have taken some legal action.

JP[protected], again give reminder on dated 04.09.2010, no body attained, again give reminder on 17.10.2010, no body hered, agin today i note compalian to complain centre on dated 25.10.2010 and got complain no. JP[protected].. so pl look in this matter very seriously. if not reced any reply i will send the refrigarator to the dealer/ service centre and file the case to consumer court.

              Whirlpool — price charged more than MRP

              i have purchased whirlpool washing machine (ACE 75i ) Rs-10190/-, from a dealer. and a have checked the price from whirlpool site and another dealer that the MRP is Just. Rs- 10100/-. and then i checked the price tag on box. it is missing . so what can i do now. plz tell me

                I bought a new Whirlpool double door refriferator There is a problem of the doorit is not closeing properly since day one... I contacted Whirlpool on this number 6008558and they gave me false answers stating that the supervisor will call me within one hours time but no answers. Every time I call this the same answers If I ask them to give me the email address of their Managing director. They disconect the phone Immediately.

                  i will purchased a washining machine on[protected] at kloor home colection muvattupuzha. but unfortunately that machine complaint for nine times in that time the service centre people (jis engineers thalayolaparampu-686605) was repaired but now the machine is not working properly . two times replaced the pc board. in last weeks before pc board replaced and instaled a whirlpool stabilizer also. i will pay that coast . but now that machine is complaint informed concerned service centre and also their will confirmed p c board will damaged. so i will request you to replaced that machine to the front loaded machine aditional coast of that machine is paid to me.

                    I am fully agreed with him. Worst Service for Whilpool product. I have also washing machine getting problem from the first day. I have called number of time to the custome care for my complaint but didn't get any response from Service Center Indore. I asked the phone number or address of Service Center from Customer Care but they didn't tell me.

                    It is a matter of sorrow that after several times complain through e-mail in your website/e-mail ID, I have not got any reply from your end. Basically this type of harassment was not happened in my life previously. Again I am strongly complain against your authorized service center M/s - Zen Service of BF-4, Rajarhat Road, Baguihati, Kolkata-700059, Near Arati Cinema, Ph. No. 033 –[protected]/[protected]. His conduct/behavior with the customer and as well as workmanship is very bad.
                    Again I am telling you that please replace the refrigerator by a new one. Because I don’t want any repair further again. Otherwise I will force to purchase another refrigerator. I hope after viewing all the facts you will sure replace my refrigerator.
                    Again I am furnishing my details for your reference. I strongly complain against your service after selling a product. Hope that after viewing all the facts you will take necessary action immediately and replace the same with a new one, so that I can relief from this problem forever & my family peace which was disturbed for the same may return and fulfill with happiness as was in past.

                    In this connection I want to state that, last few months on & from January, 2008 I am facing such a problem by this fridge/refrigerator which was not happen in my life previously and at the same time my family peace is also disturbed by the same. I have reported all the facts/problems minimum (10-15) times to Capital Electronics as well as local authorized service center named Zen Service of BF-4, Rajarhat Road, Baguihati, Kolkata-700059, Near Arati Cinema, Ph. No. 033 –[protected]/[protected] and they also visited my house minimum 10 times and after repair of each time they have told that “Sir it will not create any problem in future, if again it will happen we will replace the same with a new one”. I have told minimum 100 times to Capital Electronics as well as local authorized service center that please replace the same, but I am fully hopeless regarding your service after sale of any product. In this modern generation no family can live without a refrigerator, whereas my family is living without refrigerator during a long period (more than six months). I am very much anxious and at the same time helpless also regarding the same matter.
                    Under the circumstances you are requested to take necessary steps so that I may escape from that problem forever and if possible please replace the same fridge by a new one. Treat this case as an extremely urgent.

                    We have whirlpool 650d 1-2-3 sixth sense washing machine. It is not working properly. Kindly come and correct the same.
                    I bought a automatic (Top Loading) washing machine of whirlpool in the year 1993, when it was TVS Whirlpool and I used it upto 2006 without any problem and on 2007 again bought a automatic washing machine of Whirlpool till date no problem I admit the earlier machine was far more superior than the latest one and one thing more the machine makes too much noise.                     Hi I bought Whirlpool 650d two weeks ago, It is getting noise from background while it is spinning. I called to Bangalore customer care so many times but later I found that Bangalore does not have Whirlpool customer care, I was surprised to hear this from Senior Customer Care executive then I shoot an email to India help desk and they responded back to my email and sent an executive to my home. He tighten all screws and said the noise was decreased than before. But I found same problem in my next washing cycle. I totally upset with the Whirlpool product. I agree with above user comments that Whirlpool customer care is worst and dont go for Whirlpool in Bangalore especially. Thanks

                      Hi,

                      I would like to share my experience regarding Whirlpool service. Its the worst any company can provide. I had lodged a complaint with their customer care about noise and vibration (machine used to get displaced atleast by 1 - 2 feet!). 10days and still no being has attended the call or bothered to inform. I have till date followed it up 7 times with the customer care centre(this is the only face they have for service, no local service centre contact details are available anywhere). The customer care executives promptly utter what has been taught to them and add another counter to the already registed call. They commit that some of their "SENIORS" will communicate back but that commitment is never fulfilled. I can name few of the customer care executives and their seniors but it will be of no use as it is not their fault. They are victims of a bigger corporate policies and strategies.

                      I think companies like Whirlpool have come out with a definite strategy for our country. Dump it, forget it. They dont have any concept like after sales service. Its time for us to rethink about buying products from such cheap rated companies. Its better we stick on to Indian companies. Yes, even stop buying products from our own companies who have JV with such ethic less capitalist American companies.

                      My strong suggestion is dont go for any Whirlpool products.

                      I have purchased an Whirlpool Washing Machine M/C ( Model White Magic F65 Ebony) on 06.08.2006.
                      AMC with M/S Penguin Refrigerator since December 2008 ( concerned mechanic Samiran ). Though premium paid but policy not received till date. Kindly do the needful
                      I lodged a complain for my whirlpool washing machine with the customer care on 2nd july 2009 and till date the machine has not been repaired. I have paid for the so called AMC too. Today I spoke with the owner of the service center. Mr Sanjay Gupta and he assured me that the sevice Engineer would be their in an hours time.                       i lodged a complain for my whirlpool washing machine with the customer care on 1nd july 2009 and till date the machine has not been repaired. I have paid for service charges too. somany times I spoke with the the service center. they assured me that the sevice Engineer would be their in an hours time.                       I lodged a complain for my whirlpool washing machine with the customer care, Gorakhpur more than 5 times during last 3 weeks but every time I call them they asked they have no complaint with this name and take again all detail. Till date no one has called for the same.
                      I brought new Washing Machin from Whirlpool model is sports(2 months ago ). It is causing lot of noise and too much vibration. I am tired of the washing machine. My siensier advice dont go for Whirlpool at any cost. Please help me how to fight to get my money back.

                      I gave up on my IFB executive plus to purchase a whirlpool sport to be hugely let down by their shoddy customer service and installation procedures. the purchase was made from Devi International, jayanagar. Firstly the product was delivered and a week later a man claiming to be from whirlpool came for installation, this was after repeated calls to their toll-free number. He left the installation incomplete and said would return soon because he didnt have a particular clip for the outlet pipe. Now several calls to him and the toll free number has not produced any result. However, I parallely get calls from whirlpool checking on customer satisfaction and the service rendered. When I tell them about my plight they say they cannot attend to this complaint coz their job is to simply measure satisfaction levels.Now i have a whirlpool sport which washes clothes and throws the water all across my utility area...my biggest folly was to give up my IFB...they had excellent customer care and prompt service. The number of the guy who finished his job half way is [protected].
                      You are absolutely right. No body cares for the customer even I have booked complain on 7th March, 2011 and still there is no response.
                      I had registered my complaint on 28th of May, I had been to ld that with in 24 hrs. my problem would be resolved but there is no action. I am tired of following up and hearing false promises from your help desk team.Worst product and worst services. RECOMEND NOT TO PURCHASE WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT.
                      I have logged a complaint with Whirlpool customer care (BG[protected]), ON 18TH Nov, the issue is still not resolved, the engineer is waiting for some part which has to come from Pondichery (not sure why it is not available in Bangalooru).

                      I agree, horrible service...never buy any whirlpool appliances...I had purchased the machine from Pai International...Bannegatta Road about 2 yrs back..(2010)...

                        I think we are Unluckily Purchased a Whrilpool 210 Split Air Conditioner.

                        Due to Our Home Shifted we have contacted Whirlpool Service Centre for Re-installation of A/c to the new home. After this Mr.Chelliah No.1.Fraud Came and Re-installed the A/c. After this within 10 minutes Because of his wrong connection made Board Gone.
                        For this also we contacted Whirlpool Service Centre again they sended Mr.Chelliah No.1 Fraud came & Re-installed the A/c and got Immediately Rs.2455/-without bill & when we asked him again what about the bill he told it will come from office. This has happened on April 22nd 2008. Still now we have not received the bill. The money was given by us due to Mr.Chelliah demanded after receiving the money he will start the work.
                        As a Customer I have Purchased this A/c for Rs.28, 785.00 on 18.05.2006 Hot Cash Payment Made. Now also I am Having the bill. This matter i am typing to show how much i have affected by Whirlpool Service Centre.

                        No.2. After this again A/c not working. So, once again we complained to Whirlpool Service Centre and the following persons also

                        on 29.05.2008 and given to Mr.Rajesh on 29.05.2008 after receiving this he told within three days new machine will come.

                        But what a Ridiculos Response they send the new A/c Machine after call all the above persons with the mobile number on 11.06.2008.
                        That Day Here Rain they told today is raining we cannot remove the a/c we will come another day and gone.
                        ( If Rain coming means they will not eat food and they will not sleep, we are also working person not like this )

                        After this upto now 17.06.2008 midnight nothing came i think our money gone into water sorry into a Big Ocean.

                        Really after this i will never going to Purchase Whirlpool Products and not going to Recommend a person for purchasing the whirlpool Products.

                        Yes the information was useful. But a bit late. I have bought Whirlpool Split AC 1.5 ton delux on Sunday. Till now the persons didn't come for installation. I am much worried. Can somebody post the contact numbers.
                        It is agreeable that the service back up is absolutely insufficient and inefficient.

                        For my split ac 1.5 tonne purchased only last year for which I have even gone ahead for annual maintenance contract, I have been trying to get the service done since 29th April. My request number being DL [protected], evry time I got the promise that the service engineer Mr Kapil will be visiting us same day of my talking, but no action till now. Today, I have been trying to contact the customer care at[protected] since 1340 hours and would have made not less than 8 calls, each time the call got disconnected after "I am such and such, May I help you!'

                        It is better to avoid Whirlpool products especially their air conditioners. Poor Product and even more Poor service
                        I buyed whirlpool window A/C.. One came from whirlpool service center to install the A/C.
                        He installed, and not opened the water outlet. we were new, so we dont know that this knob should be opened. After a month, my a/c filled up internally with ater, then i released the water. I will kill that , if i encounter the whirlpool service man again

                          I baught new Whirlpool Refrigerator 340L Professional from Reliance Mart. Since I baught there is water leakage problem inside refrigerator, every day water fill at the bottom of vegetable try even though there is nothing inside refrigerator.

                          I did complain to Reliance and Whirlpool, Engineer came from both sides but problem is not solved at last Reliance gave me new same model Refrigerator not Whirlpool. Again this new Refrigerator has same problem and Now no one is listening my complain they are just annoying my complain, all time there is new excuse.

                          I suggest to all my dear friend dont purchase product from Whirlpool, they are so poor in Service specially solving problem.

                            we had purchased a Refrigerator Ff 3501 Ice magic elite from M/s Harsha, Hubli vide bill no. 4CG 00019 dt, 04.04.2005.
                            unfortunately it developed troubles very soon.
                            since the product was under warranty, the service centre employee took the fridge to the service centre on 28.04.2008 citing replacement of compressor and promised to return the fully repaired fridge within a week.
                            we recieved the same only after 3 months. the technician claimed shortage of compressors and claimed that he was awaiting one from Chennai. but the delay put us to great hardships and cost us Rs 3000.00 as "service" charges.. All this after e-mailing a complaint to M/s Whirlpool of India Ltd on June 8, 2008 and threatened complaining to the consumer forum.
                            but it was not the end of our woes. the "repaired" refrigerator than developed new snags immedaitely. and the service engineer after much deliberation once again took the fridge for repair on 15.08.2008 promising its return within a day or two. but uptil now we havent heard about the same. telephone calls to the engineer are not acknowledged nor answered.
                            we are at our wits end.

                            Whirlpool Refrigerator — defective refrigerator

                            02.10.2008.
                            we had purchased a Refrigerator Ff 3501 Ice magic elite from M/s Harsha, Hubli vide bill no. 4CG 00019 dt, 04.04.2005.
                            unfortunately it developed troubles very soon.
                            since the product was under warranty, the service centre employee took the fridge to the service centre on 28.04.2008 citing replacement of compressor and promised to return the fully repaired fridge within a week.
                            we recieved the same only after 3 months. the technician claimed shortage of compressors and claimed that he was awaiting one from Chennai. but the delay put us to great hardships and cost us Rs 3000.00 as "service" charges.. All this after e-mailing a complaint to M/s Whirlpool of India Ltd on June 8, 2008 and threatened complaining to the consumer forum.
                            but it was not the end of our woes. the "repaired" refrigerator than developed new snags immedaitely. and the service engineer after much deliberation once again took the fridge for repair on 15.08.2008 promising its return within a day or two. but uptil now we havent heard about the same. telephone calls to the engineer are not acknowledged nor answered.
                            we are at our wits end.

                            Whirlpool 340L Professional

                            I baught new Whirlpool Refrigerator 340L Professional from Reliance Mart. Since I baught there is water leakage problem inside refrigerator, every day water fill at the bottom of vegetable try even though there is nothing inside refrigerator.

                            I did complain to Reliance and Whirlpool, Engineer came from both sides but problem is not solved at last Reliance gave me new same model Refrigerator not Whirlpool. Again this new Refrigerator has same problem and Now no one is listening my complain they are just annoying my complain, all time there is new excuse.

                            I suggest to all my dear friend dont purchase product from Whirlpool, they are so poor in Service specially solving problem.

                            I raised a complaint about my fridge on 30/09/2008 complaint no HD[protected]. Engineer Mr. Mahendra ( Mob No [protected]) visited my place on 1/09/2008 and diagnosed that fan of the fridge is not working and told me it will be repaired in two days. Since than I have called him many times generally he does not take my calls but on 4th he told me my fridge will be repaired on 6th.

                            Today when I called him he said he is not in office and told me to call on[protected].This no is either busy or no body picks it up. Then again I called up service centre[protected] some lady took my call and told me I will be attended within an hour. Still waiting for any response from whirlpool. My fridge is down from last 15 days I have given my replacement papers to Mr. Mahendra he told me he will tell me whether it will be a free repair nothing has happened till now.

                            After I bought the fridge within 6 months in the month of MAY it was replaced by you cause there was manufacturing defect in that. You charged extra for that since that model was in stock at that time.

                            Now again within 5 months this fridge is also giving problem. I will be spending 30% extra of the cost of the fridge within an year of purchase .I am seriously worried about the fridge Whirlpool are giving and quality of the services they are providing is pathetic.
                            I had purchased whirlpool refrigerator ice magic elite 220 L double door in sep 2003 from Kanpur. After around 15 days of installation the freezer door started buckling inside from the front. I had called mechanic and he told that there is no problem it will be all right after some time. Then after 6 month I lodged a complain again through telephone and mechanic did not come. In july 2005 I moved to Lucknow and contacted service and they did not hear to my call. Again I called service centre in Jan 2009 and immediately mechanic came on my call and told me that the defect is manufacuring defect and since warranty is over then you have to pay rs 2500 for door replacement.

                            Again the service centre has called me and asked to sign on the complaint paper stating that "I do not want to change the freeze door". The service centre was waiting in fact to expire the warranty before attending the complain.

                            Kindly advise me on this matter.
                            Hi

                            I too having bad experience Whirlpool refrigerator for 15 K where the main item refrigerator which is Door that itself problem. The Door Holder is made with just a plastic mould which got broken with is short life and there is no replacement from Whirlpool. Multiple follow-up with whirlpool made but the effort is waste.
                            Dont buy whirlpool products..they are usually defective and they have very lousy service, ,

                            fridge 220 litre elite — compressor

                            i r murali have the fridge of your company it 220 lit elite model it is not working i complained in your service center

                            they came check and told me that compressor has gone and told me that stock was unavailable. we don't know when it will comes


                            what this sir how we will use the product . this matter is before one month now till they told the same answer.

                            so you persue this matter and modify the problem.

                              i purchased 340 ltrs whirlpool refrigerator from jindal electronics pvt ltd.NABHA, DISTT-PATIALA, PUNJAB some months ago.after 3-4 days of our purchase the refrigerator stopped working.we called the dealer and they changed our refrigerator.the new refrigerator again showed defective functioning.we made a contact to service centre patiala through our dealer around 4-5 times.they came and checked but not able to remove the defect.last such complaint was registered at service center patiala, WIDE COMPLAINT NO.-3060 DATED--MAY 28, 2008.BUT NO POSITIVE RESULT HAS BEEN RECEIVED.please replace our refrigerator immediately, otherwise we will appraoch press..

                                This complaint will give us the clear picture how the so called world renowned company treats its customers in 3rd category country like India and cheating the customers.
                                Complainst starts here:
                                Dear Sir/Madam,
                                My cousin brother(Mr. Mrinmoy Ghosh) has bought a Refrigerator - 200LT GENIOUS XL PREMIER, Model-10485 W/Pool, Sl No. INC[protected] from M/S New Audio Vision(Authorized Distributor of Whirlpool), ChandraKona Road, West Midnapur on 04-Jul-2007.
                                Since then the following incidents happend to the said Refrigerator:
                                1. After 3mths of purchase, body colour started fading. Then we contacted the local service centre at Midnapur(West) and they re-coloured the body and returned back the product after 3mths.Pls note that, we were without the refrigerator for 3 mths!!
                                2. After 2 days of receiving the product, we noticed that the cooling system of the Refrigerator is running non-stop and ice gets created at the back-side and less cooling inside.
                                3. Again contacted service centre and got the thermostat replaced.
                                4. But the same problem started again after few days.
                                5. Again your Service engineer visited and advised to change the compressor.

                                In this scenario, I would like to draw your attanetion and would like you to replace the product with a new one. I am pretty sure that, the product has not been undergone with any quality testing process otherwise it could never happen again and again.

                                I purchase a proton series refrigerator model no.12122 after purchasing it i face too many problems regarding its machinery. its cooling was not too effective so i complaint customer care to look into the matter.An engineer come & says that it is having problem of d frost timer.I told him to solve this.The problem was solved then engineer ask me for payment of Rs-1245 including service charge but the refrigerator was in guarantee period but my bill was not at home so my mother asked him that we will show that bill later at service station but he don't allow me to do this so we give the payment to him.& he said that you may take your money back from our service station but when i go their they don't return the money back.
                                so i request you to look into the matter.

                                  We bought a whirlpool iceberg 7 months back and 10 days back from now, we have a broken door hinge. It takes two people to open and close. We have been calling ever since and what we receive are promises and more promises every time. Once a whirlpool guy turned up made an excuse about part replacement and never showed up.

                                  We have never handled such a situation before, maybe somebody who has faced a similar situation can guide us.

                                    I purchased Whirlpool Refrigerator Model 215 Elite from M/s. Santosh Traders, 19 Ganesh Colony, Pratap Nagar, Nagpur-440022 by my name Kishor M. Totade on 15/10/2002 Sr.No.INA[protected]. Now my fridge is not working properly so I sent complaint on 19/04/08 to your Mumbai Office through your Hotline No. [protected]. After three days your Engineer visited and checked the fridge. He told that the compressor needs to be replaced. But one month passed and nobody came to replace the compressor. I phoned on your above mentioned hotline number many times but nobody took any action. The compressor is now under Guarantee period. We are facing many problems in summer season due to your bad service.

                                      whirlpool white magic washing machine — indifference and cheating by branch service centre at guwahati

                                      i purchased the above mentioned product from bharali brothers in guahati in 2002.Within warranty period the product went out of order and after repeated complain to the dealer i had to take it back to the dealer and after harrowing experience of being suttled to service centre and the dealer, the machine was replaced on 27/11/04.And again it went out of order in november 2008 and again after much persuassion, the indicator light was replaced at the cost of Rs 800/- including the travel expenses of the mechanic, Mr Uttam Mirdiya by name.(the distance from the service centre to my hometown Tura, meghalaya being about 250km.)Before that the local dealer in my place was called and the mechanic sent by the dealer refused to repair saying he had not even seen this type of washing machine.Then again the machine went out of order sometime in February2009 and when i again rang up the centre at guahati repeatedly they sent the same mechanic in 8th march 2009.Then when he first checked the machine, he told me that only the door switch has to be rectified.So when i left him to do the needful, after half an hour, he called me from the kitchen and said that he will have to repace the timer also and when i asked him the cost of the timer he said that it will cost me Rs4000/- if i dont allow him to take the defective piece to be replaced. Therefore i did not allow him to change the timer. Even then he he changed the timer when i was not around and said that he did to demonstrate to me that the machine works with the new timer.Even then I did not allow him to replace it and then he said that i have to pay Rs500/for his travel expenses.After which i called up the company headquarter, faridabad at the tel no.[protected]. When the attendant told me that she will contact the concerned branch at guahati to help me out . After that another attendant called me from the branch centre from the phone no.[protected].and repeatedly told me that she will instruct the mechanic to rectify the machine and I will have to pay only Rs 1800/- for the timer and Rs 350/- for the service and to this i agreed.But when one Sanjiv Saha wanted to give him the instruction, he had already left and when i communicated this to sanjiv saha, he requested me to go after him and to look for him from local dealer, Debsons and if i find him to allow him to talk on my mobile as his mobile was switched off as it is out of range in the area.I went looking for him from the said place and from all the booking centres of public transports. But he was not to be found.I called up sanjiv and the attendant at branch and they said that he will be sent back when he comes to guahati.But then again he called up to tell me that he can only send back uttam only ater 10th march as it is holiday due to Holi. Therefore i asked them to send him on 16th march as i also will be out of station and be back by 15th march.He came again on 16th and tried to replace the timer with the new one which was not in the sealed packet.I objected to this but he assured me that its the same piece he took back and then i allowed him to do so. And again the machine failed to drain out the water and he told me that the pump motor also has to be replaced.i called up again the branch office and after much harrasment of being redirected from attendant to attendant on various phone nos., they agreed to send the new part to be replaced which will be delivered the next day but not before one Mr.Alam rudely told me that the branch was not supposed to cater the service to me as the warranty period is over. He also said that i have to pay the price of the product as written on the packet and that he cannot send the bill.So i asked uttam to wait for the parts to be delivered so that he can complete the job tomorrow.
