I had purchased an ESPRIT watch from Shoppers Stop Outlet at Shipra Mall Ghaziabad. Within few days the time of the watch started to move back gain and again.
On 20th Sep, I visited the Shoppers stop outlet and asked them to either replace the watch with new one or refund the amount as it is not acceptable that a branded watch will stop working within a month of its purchase. The flooe manager said that as per the rule, we need to send the watch back to the brand to find out the exact nature of provlem and if it is a mechanical defect then watch will be replaces. However whatever the problem would be they will confirm within next 2 days but will take around 15 days for rest of the process.
Now to my surprise I got a call exacly after 2 days but at 9:00 pm at night by a person named :Amit" from Shoppers Stop. He told me that their was some mechanical problem in the watch so the brand has changed the entire mechanism of the watch.
First of all, is 9:00 clock at night is the time to call a female customer? and on top of that the person was arguing with me.
Secondly, if the floor manager himself said that in case of some mechanical fault the watch will be replaced then howcome within 2 days they got the entire mechanism changed and that too without my permission. Within two days they were just supposed to inform me of the nature of problem but to my horror thay hasd got the entire mechansim changed without my knowledge.
This is just not acce[ted from Shoppers Stop, I an old customer of Shoppers Stop and now thay are makin me realize that I did the biggest mistake to purchase the watch from their outlet.
Now again few more days have passed, the watch is still with them as I refused to take the repaired watch as within a month this problem arose.
Intially I had asked for the replacement, but now seeing how they behave and work without keeping the customer in knowledge, I want my money to be refunded. Was this information helpful? |
