Address: Apple Auto , White Field , Bangalore

Dear Sir/Madam,
I gave the VW Vento Desiel vehicle at VW Apple Auto, Whitefield due to a water clog problem on 18th June 2022.
The Service Advisor advised the need to replace the wire harness part and placed the order for the part.

So far NO ETA for the part availability and insurance was not waiting since its an unknown time. I need the vehicle to commute purpose.

Neither Apple Auto service centre nor VW India doesn't take responsibility to resolve the issue and not guarantee the service centre for part repair.

    Dealership Name: Volkswagen Whitefield apple auto
    Vehicle number: KA 03 MY 5342

    After following up for 3 months the said service center is not providing me the duplicate invoice copy of my vehicle.
    I have lost it and now required while transferring vehicle to another state.

    Please don't mark this as resolved after just redirecting to said dealer
    This is another complaint I'm raising as you guys have closed the other
    Volkswagen India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

      Address: Ahmedabad VW Automark Motors Service Center

      I have Zero depreciation cover on my HDFC Ergo Motor Insurance policy, even after that I was asked to pay 20% painting and 10% salvage charge.
      The VW workshop inflated the bill and said that insurance company is not paying, so you need to pay.
      I ended up paying 10015/-
      After meeting with insurance people, they waived off the painting charge and still asked me to pay 10% salvage charges.
      They are yet to give me a refund of 6700/-
      Why in the first place I was asked to pay charges which I am not liable to pay as I had adequate insurance cover??

        On 13th Sep 2002, i have handed over my car of rectifying/correcting the minor scratches done by the VW Alandur service center during the Full General Service. They have requested 2 days of time and i have granted the same.

        To my surprise, On 15th Sep 2022 @3.555pm, i have received a call from service representative and i was told that my car met with an minor accident inside service center while engaging the car in 1st GEAR which resulted the following damages - Front Left Fender Arch (Strong Dent), Bumper Scratched/Broke and last but the least TYRE has got BURST.

        At the outset, i was thinking to myself, HOLD ON A SECOND, did this impact look like happened at the speed of moving the vehicle in 1st GEAR ??? and the TYRE has got BURST ???

        Finally, it is very clear that VW Alandur has told me a BLATANT LIE!!!

        I was very much attached towards the VW brand which resulted me to buy this product and when i realize VW doesn't have loyal and Honest service support, it looks very bad!!!

        Reason for approaching this forum is to get the detailed true report on this incident and the root cause.

          I have a VW Vento Highline, petrol from Sep 2019.
          I have been servicing the car at Imperial Automobiles, Adityapur, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
          I had contacted the service dealer - Mr Krishna on 03 Sep 2022, for a date for servicing. No date was given DESPITE MULTIPLE CALLS.
          I have also complained to VW site on 06 Sep 2022, including E mails, and whatsapp. No response has been received.
          VW, IMPERIAL AUTOMOBILES is refusing to service my car despite being a paid service.

            I purchased a new vehicle two month back. (5/6/2022) Within two months the car had a brake related issue. and this car brake is also failing and abnormal noise (I need to push the break beatles more than normal). I was informed by the car service center. The service center guise is not understand my problem. and this guise does not listen to my words.and this guise telling the same story. all the tigune have abnormal brake noise, brake beatles will go inside and this model will have brake failure issues also.Within two month I visited the service center thrice due to this issue. but still this issue is not resolved and the service center is not ready to resolve this issue. They gave one more vehicle to compare during my last visit[protected]. My car brake system is not the same as a demo car.

            I have the following issue.
            - abnormal brake noise
            - break betel is going inside.
            - break failures happen during the fast drive.
            - The brake system is not working properly.
            - And door noise.

            I am checking with them to change my vehicle brake system. The service center guise is not ready to change. and there are not give proper responses
            I created many emails and tickets regarding this issue . but these calls, emails and tickets are useless for me.
            Because till now vehicles have the same issue. I don't know what is the use of customer care and service centers in volkswagen.

                I sulekha.A residing mahima, veruvally bhagom, kayamkulam, alappuzha, kerala, india owned by vw jetta having registration no kl-29-l-6699. I do my car's service regularly on vw showroom and all my services are done at authorised service centers only. On my last visit for 90000 km service in vw maradu show room, kochi kerala. The worst experience was happened, that was, on my request the replaced the clutch kit and break shoes and i paid 59000 inr. After 500km there is a noice coming from clutch, i complaint it but no response from their side. Vw is from german makers not china. Kindly take necessary action to solve the issues.

                  Dear support

                  Just before covid lockdowns following the diagnosis of 'coil' indicator in dashboard, we had got one injector replaced.

                  During lockdowns car was not used and now within 2-3 months of the car usage we have encountered same problem and service center has diagnosed for injector replacement.

                  The reason being cited is bad fuel quality but we have not used fuel from any other station than Shell.

                  I can give my entire fueling history for tracking and ruling out the possibility of fuel quality as reason for injector failures.

                  There are overwhelming complaints by customers of VW on several forums facing repeated injector problems.

                  Kindly suggest if this is a known issue with VW cars? does it come with inferior injectors or some models are supposedly to be recalled?

                  Please help us, being exorbitantly costly it may not be possible for customers to frequently spend on injector replacements

                    I am Shivaji Ganesan M from Coimbatore. I purchased Volkswagen Polo Highline TSI - Petrol, on September 2021 from Ramani’s Volkswagen Coimbatore.

                    Vehicle Details:
                    Reg no: TN 38 CY 9796
                    Chasis no: MEXH 21600 MT 159221

                    On 28 August 2022, around at 22:30 hrs, after driving for approximately 25kms, car suddenly stopped moving at trichy road, coimbatore.
                    I called RSA helpline and with RSA swift support vehicle was immediately towed to Ramani’s Volkswagen Service Center Coimbatore, and I was informed that on next morning (29/08/2022) I will get a call from service center. But I didn’t got call from service center till 13:00 hrs. Then I called the service center and enquired about my vehicle and I was lethargically informed that my vehicle was not been taken. Since, there are many vehicles in the queue for repair. And I will be getting a call once repair order vehicle is generated.
                    At 14:31 hrs I got a sms from VW.

                    After going through the msg I contacted concerned person Mr. Periyasamy to know about the issue with the vehicle, I was discourteously informed that to find the issue in the vehicle it will take minimum 2 days. Hence told to wait for 2 days. After 3 days, on (01.09.2022) I got a call from Mr. Periyasamy and he told that the clutch plate in my vehicle has completely deteriorated, due to which vehicle is not moving.
                    I was shocked to know that issue was due to clutch. Because my vehicle as on date (01.02.2022) has run only around 13700 kms. Further I was informed that the defect has occurred due to bad driving practise and my vehicle is not eligible for repair under warranty norms. Since I have been doing regular service of my vehicle at VW and recent service was done few months ago after surpassing 10k kms. Even during at that time I was not told about any problems with clutch. Now suddenly the failure has happened within few months of vehicle service is unacceptable.
                    I suspect the clutch issue in my vehicle could be a PPM. A brand like VW and its products are expected to meet customer requirements which has clearly not happened in my case. This is an absolute disgrace to the customer.
                    In the view of the premature failure of the clutch on my polo I request VW to consider a warranty repair for my vehicle. I also request you to look into the failure of this part in detail so that these problems won't recur for other customers so that they can be refrained from humiliation like i have faced for the past few days.

                      Volkswagen India Taigun clutch failure within 3 months of delivery

                      I have booked VW Taigun (TN 11 AY 6586) from KUN Volkswagen, Chennai on May 7th, 2022 and car was delivered to us on May 14th, 2022.

                      It was smooth ride for first 2 weeks than the issue started with Clutch. We encountered burnt smell from Vehicle Clutch on 2nd week after the purchase just before the first free service call from KUN Volkswagen.

                      We felt its weird for a brand-new car and even reported to the service...

                      I gave my car for service and insurance claim on 16th July, 2022 and have not received yet, it was given to Whitefield, Bangalore center.

                      Their agents are not responding, after multiple follow ups they answer once and that too with arrogance and very vague answers like it will take months or parts are coming from Germany.

                      i am really worried about my car now.

                        I am facing an issue where brake is making a metallic sound when applied at slow speed. I had complained about it during my first service, have visited the service center 4 times but there is still no resolution.                             Hello sir,
                            My car no. GJ08AJ9501 is at your Mehsana workshop and the amount to fix is something around Rs 150000. Why should I pay this much amount of money in just 4 years or just 70000 km. when we had service done just on 16/07/2022 at your Ahmedabad workshop.
                            Pls resolve our issue as soon as possible. Pls see if you can do something for us because the amount charged is too high for us. Thank you.

                              Hi Team,

                              On (29th july) I purchased a vw Virtus tsi from mody Volkswagen medhipatnam Hyderabad, vim number is MEXE22D22NT001865.
                              Unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory because it is pulling left side while driving and it's very dangerous and i already took the car back to the work station on the same day of delivery and mechanic inspected my vehicle and agreed they told me the problem comes from manufacturer unit and they are fix the problem but still it was not resolved however, when I drove the vehicle and started using it again, the problem was still there.
                              Once again i given complaint to dealer they take my vehicle and did an accident and bumper got scratch and shape out

                              After paying more than 17 lacks finally i got a defected and accident vehicle. And from day 1 onwards my car is visiting the service center and still it is in the service center only and finally manufacturer unit bumper will going to replace .
                              We are not accept this.

                              However, the matter is not satisfactorily after paying 17 more lacks.
                              Without proper PDI how do you deliver the car to the customer ?
                              The drivers how the way to handle the car . They don't have minimum responsibility?

                              I want to replace the car with a new one because the delar met am accident on my car otherwise I will consider taking further action the complaint eighter consumer court.

                                Customer car was over speeded and hitted to the tree with full car damage and now the company is offering to just repair the car at the cost of customer insurance claim.                                   Car was hit to the tree at a speed of 100kmph by the Volkswagen company driver while taking to the car for servicing and company is not giving any satisfactory response, niether company is bothered to approach the customer and it's been 3 days till now

                                    Dear Volkswagen
                                    I purchased VW Virtus 1.0 TSI Topeline (Red) on 29th June 2022 from Guwahati Assam, India Dealer. And as informed, I was supposed to visit the dealer on 31st July 2022 for my first servicing. This servicing is named as “Swagat”. The first welcome Servicing. But I have a different experience to tell on the very first day.
                                    On 2nd week of July, I got a call from the VW service centre Guwahati regarding my first service. I conveyed that as I reside in Nagaon District which is 150 kM away from Guwahati and due to my work, I can go for my “Swagat” servicing on last Sunday i.e., 31st July 2022. Accordingly, I was informed that they have booked 31st July 2022 for the “Swagat” servicing.
                                    On 31st July 2022 at 11:00 am, I reached the service centre at Guwahati. I approached the service executive for my schedule and so called “Swagat” service. To my surprise, they revert me back that there is no booking for my car for that day.
                                    I tried to explained that there might be some mistake as I remember that it was booked for last Sunday from their end and accordingly, I have travel 150 kM for the same. Half an hour later, I was informed that the booking was there in the computer but it was not in the register book. However, they will consider to carry out the “Swagat” servicing but it will take some time as there is already a queue.
                                    I agreed and around 1:45 pm the car was driven inside for washing by VW team member. Before this incident, one of the service executives took 360 deg photograph of the car for any scratch or mark in the body. At around 3:30 pm, I went inside the workshop to see the progress of my “Swagat” Servicing.
                                    The car was washed. I went closure to see the car and I was surprised to notice that the left door opposite to the drive seat had a scratch mark distinctly visible. I immediately call the service team around and had shown them the mark. At first, they denied to accept that it was their fault and it might have been already there before the car was brought to the centre.
                                    I tried to convince that there was no scratch till now in the car body, but there was continuous denial from their end. To this I asked the service executive to compare it with those photographs which were taken before the servicing. After few conversations, disapproval and comparison, it was accepted that the scratch was part of the servicing and then they tried to remove the mark with some polish and chemicals.
                                    I asked them the rectify the issue immediately. But they response that as it was Sunday the painter is not available and asked me to bring the car next day. But since I have to return and travel back again 150 kM to my workplace, I told them it is not possible for me to visit next day. To this the service executive wrote a comment in the bill that it will be rectify free of cost (only for that scratch) whenever I visit the centre again. Me with no other option had accepted it.
                                    Sitting back in the waiting lounge for other formalities to be made from their end, I was just recalling the whole day. I came for my first so called “Swagat” servicing at VW Guwahati traveling approx. 150 kM. At first there was a denial of the booking and then what I get is only a washing and a scratch mark on the left door of the car. I could have washed the car at may place instead of travelling 150 kM for the same.
                                    One month back when the car was delivered, there was frequent call from the VW Guwahati to give 5-star feedback in company website. And without any doubt, I gave it, as the quality of the Car is exceptionally good. But the trust of the customer depends on the after sales service and parts that will be available for next 10-15 years.
                                    At the very beginning before purchase, I went for Skoda Slavia, but because of the speculated service-related issues at this part of north east India, I waited for VW Virtus, as my trust was more on Volkswagen and that is the only reason for my ownership.
                                    But what now? there is nothing special about VW, and here at Guwahati Assam, the service approach and quality is pathetic and I worried, I have to bear the same for coming years.
                                    There is always an improvement and the VW dealer at Guwahati is no exceptional.
                                    Firstly, the service centre had very less space around it. And most of the damaged car are parked in the approach road making the path narrower for any car to move inside the workshop. The approach to the car washing place is further narrower and is through the main workshop where repairing works is done. And I doubt, due to space constraint, the dealer cannot attend servicing of more than 5 -6 car a day. However, this is only my observation and its up to VW group for further review.
                                    At the end of the day what customer expect is the service after sales. We are giving more emphasis on sales, that is good. But what after the sales? and what if the customer had to face many issues in keep the car in good condition. The moment the car is delivered and out of the dealer, we (the customer) will look for an approachable and troublesome servicing from the dealer.
                                    VW car is Good, but service here at Guwahati is pathetic………….So to the new buyer, do the survey in your area before buying…………………………..

                                      Address: Gilani Khan Rd, topsia near landmark Kolkata

                                      I bought Volkswagen Polo in 2016 and had to change all ABS sensors in the period of 2018-19. Now in 2022, I see this errors again and the service people are seeing open circuit and it might be damaged. I have to send my car again for this fault. Normally you expect 40000 km to 50000 km for the life time. I am very much upset and I am wondering what engineering Marvel this car is?
