I bought ao smith water heater 2monts back and i have raised to get the issue solved. We are getting shocked while using water from water heater, the engineer visited twice has told there is no issue and we r still getting the same issue. I have raised the request one more time and i waited for a week no one turned up or responded. I never expected like this from ao smith. I want this to be resolved asap or replace the product. We bought ao smith filter x4+ last year and the water taste was normal and the tds level of water was also moderate. That is the only reason we bought ao smith filter. 2 months before we had to change the filter. 1. The service was not proper at all. And had to spend more than what they told while buying it. 2. The filter is not of good quality. Tds level is very low and the water tastes like a chemical mixed one. It caused severe mouth ulcer to everyone at home. When we stopped drinking it. After one month of suffering and as per consultion with doctor, we started consuming tap water, our mouth ulcers got cured.

Please do not buy ao smith filters. They just give false promises when you buy it and price is also high and they point out to the quality of the product as a reason for the price range. But the quality is very poor and they are not reliable

I have a water purifier from ao smith, i have taken 4 years of amc. I raised a complaint on 20th nov to change the filters. Till today service not provided, i am following up on a daily basis and no proper response from ao smith customer care. No response from service manager and area service manager called multiple times. Let me know if you require any further information.

Not even picking up the call a disconnecting the call abruptly without even attending the issue.

Called and raised the complaint to the customer service guys and closed the complaint abruptly without attending the issue.

When asked disconnecting my call and not even answerable to any of my emails.

Better stay away from ao smith and it's like hitting the head with our own hand if we choose this product.

After a month of installation heating problem starts. After replacing coil 2-3 times. Exchanged the product. Now again the problem starts. Very very very very much poor product. Very irritating to raise complaint and to take follow up till resolution. The service center availability is very poor. Over all product is fail. Please demount and crush somewhere

Three complaints for same issue over the period of one month.
Now service guy is not showing up after multiple escalations. Nor they have any idea about how to fix the leakage issue.

Water drainage is regularly happening from past one month. That too has started after getting it serviced by your company agent. I am fed up of calling customer care everyday and doing escalations. Its better to return my money for amc since you are failed to provide your guaranteed service on time.

Fraud. Very poor service. 100% amount taken 15 days ago and no product delivery. The ao smith employee here in pune has no sense to talk to his customers. Fake commitments and non serious about customer grievance even after take 100% advance amount. Please take some immediate action. I will start posting my review on all online website and portals if my issue not addressed within 1 day.

Sub standard filters and service. Selling agent/ao smith customer care centre says filters works upto 10000 litres where as the filters works not even 3000 litres. This is purely a fraud commitment. Even the warranty period if any failures they will do half of the work to manage till expiry of warrant period and suggest to proceed for amc.

I Shyamala call Rathna Enterprises, Vidyaranyapuru service reps of AO Smith, since AO Smith Toll free numbers are working.

Complaint is : slightly leaking water from inside the water filter.

Three days from the date of complaint a person came, opened the filter and we believe he broke the pipe connected to the motor, and said the pipe is broken. we need to replace the motor by spending more than RS. 3000/-. He went for the saying we need to replace the motor and he does not have the same with. He kept open the filter and went. came next day on our request he closed the filter and went.

Why is it necessary to replace the complete more if a small joint of a pipe (see attached photo) is broken if the pipe is replaceable.

AO Smith Water Purifier company is cheating customers, if the replacement of motor is must and they can not fix a small connecting pipe to the motor.
The connector pipe may cost Rs. 5 and need to pay more than Rs, 3000/- for replacing motor.

We have ordered for filter replacement and a person from Rathna Enterprises, Vidyranyapura came and installed[protected] the files. He collected Rs.4350/- and gave local cash receipt instead of GST Bill.

When informed to AO Smith they did not respond. Our worry is that if the filer does not work at least for minimum period whom we should cpmplain.

We had service done last 2 times (2018) without any issues in the same address! And now we are facing huge challenge getting service engineer attending the service request and closed without any proper reason. Above all why i would need to followup for more than 5-6 days!! To know status. Though we are happy with product, its the service / engineers spoiling the reputation.

I bought ao smith z6 water purifier [b[protected]] for 22, 900 rs on 5th august 2017 from bajaj electronics, forum mall hyderabad.

Paid for amc around 6, 500 rs on 21st january 2019. Replaced with z8 chipset and other filters as an upgradation.

Current issue : on 22nd august 2019, we have raised complaint for water not purifying and very slow process of purification, slow filling tank and flush water blockage.

Surendra from ao smith came after 3 days [i. E. On 25th august 2019] and changed ro membrane and said internal booster pump was corrupted which was out of stock and asked us to wait until it is back on stock.

We waited for 1 week and keep on contacting ao smith customer care multiple times to fix the issue permanently. Every time they used say we will get it soon until 12th september 2019.

Finally on 13th sep 2019, naresh from ao smith came and changed internal booster pump and some other filters. Still issue didn’t fixed and he said he will come with his manager on next day to fix it.

On 14th september 2019, naresh came along with his manager and changed internal booster again due to issue with earlier one and fixed some other issues and left without even checking whether tank is filling or not. After he left, we got some burning smell around purifier and observed very slow purification process. We have called him back to check it. He said that there may be issue with our switch board and that’s the reason booster pump is failing to work. Also said that z8 chipset will only work for soft water which ppm should be less than 500 ppm. We are not aware of that z8 will only work on soft water.

There are no issues at all with my switch board. We are using same switch board since 1 year 6 months without any issues. Not sure how come suddenly it was corrupted in your prospective. We have called electrician and he told everything looks good.

I am not sure why your team is delaying to fix the issue permanently. We waited for almost 26 days so far without any fix. Nearly 35k, we have invested on purifier and it worked for only 2 years.

If the issue didn’t solve with in a week time, i will go to customer court and login the case. Hope you will take it high priority and fix the issue immediately without any delay.

I brought ao smith z8 water purifier 4 months ago and i am opening every month 2 to 3 complaints due to issues, seems the product is not qc done. We are drinking normal water as when the product is troubling. Requested to replace the product as its not upto the mark. No reply as its been month time now. Opened complaint in consumer forum, not resolved yet hence opening another complaint now.

I am requesting to replace the product with tested and working properly product.

Geysers have leakage issues worst body, don't buy this geyser replacement taken 15 days now smelly water, the geyser has been serviced and even after service the smell is like dead rat, now i'm charged for cleaning 500 rs 3 times a year what's the point of cleaning when the smell keeps coming back this is cheating by company, but other company better

I have raised an ticket on 6th july'2019 as my water heater was not working. So two technicians came and were not able to resolve the issue. Then i'm said that senior technician come and resolve the issue, so far nobody came to look into this issue. I never and ever see this kind of worst service comparatively others. Please look into this issue on urgent basis.

I have raised close to 45 email and call request to AO Smith customer care no one has responded to my request and all I get to hear is either call back or will get a call tomorrow or someone will be calling me. Am fed up of following up. This is not acceptable.

The team at AO Smith are so irresponsive. I have been informing about the defective product right after two months of purchase however no one seems to be bothered about this and have been replacing the internal parts and now it's so long that I don't have a water purifier at home because of the issue not being handled on time by AO Smith team.

I have purchased ao smith to z8 series water purifier through m/s vasanth & co, chennai on 11.09.2018. But the machine gives lot of problems and even after few attempts made to repair the leakage issue did not yield any solution. Now the water purifier leaks from multiple sides and no complete solution from the service side. Please replace the machine within the expiry of warranty period.
