Dell Studio Laptop Battery — BATTERY GIVEN OF WRONG MODEL
This is to notify you that the battery I have purchased from you on 22nd oct 2011 for my dell studio 1535 is not getting chargedMy laptop is showing error that the battery model is not accepted by current configuration.
Kindly do the needful as this error is hampering my work.
Also to notify you that I have made purchase of Rs. 4800 but my bill is showing vat on Rs. 45714.29.SO more money is taken on the name of vat
i have tried calls but the reply was ineffective and unresponsive.so i started floating mails but there was no reply.
the thing has hampered my work a lot.

I bought Inspiron 1525 in October 2008 and even I am also facing the same problem 'Not Plugged In and Not charging'. I have tried all options like replacing the adaptor, and other tricks on net but all in vain.
I have observed most of the Inspirons purchased in year 2008 are facing this common issue. Dell needs to take this reponsibility to fix this.

Dell 15r — PROBLEM IN NEW SYSTEM

Awful, my sisters laptop had this issue a year ago, 9 months after she bought it.
Now I have it to fix and I smell foul play.
Dell continued to sell this product despite knowing this problem was prevalent.
The fact it came with Vista basic and 1gb of RAM should have been the consumers clue, Microsoft duped the consumer in this too but Dell have really caused issues.
It seems quite a few issues could be at play and Dell should be offering solutions.
I have been playing with this laptop and have managed to charge it an extra 4% and for a period of 5minutes have it on charge.
This was amid reinstalling the OS and and receiving Windows updates.
Is it hardware, is it software? Another reinstall of the OS didn't give me an answer.
The worst thing about this issue is the lack of conclusion.
Is it the battery?
Is it the charger?
Is it the software?
Is it the mainboard/charging board?
Either answer will see a direct replacement costing at least £100 and the consumer may need to go through all the steps to gain a working laptop.
Has anyone had any joy upgrading to windows 7? I loathe to install windows XP on it as drivers are a pain but I may try.
Dell will be receiving a letter from me about this issue with consumer rights interests attached. Perhaps they will provide me access to a battery and charger to rule out both of these issues.

DELL — System under warranty- Issues unresolved
I have called them for three consecutive days for complaints regarding my charger. I have dropped mails too. At the end of it, when I call them regarding the delivery of charger, they tell me that there is no complaint logged at all. As I am winding-up my Computer Relationship with DELL, I would like to point out some, painful experience I had with DELL.
The DELL Desktop, with OS Windows 7 home basic 64 bit, with 20" Flat Monitor, was delivered to me in January 2011 and problems started from the First day itself.
1. The Monitor Screen had a Flaw - A scratch and the Monitor was exchanged for a nother clean one, after the so called Agent at Pondicherry certfied that I am not a Lier.
2. On setting up the Computer, the most important programme , the Microsoft Office 2010 was found locked, with the alleged "Enclosed Key" missing in the package. Requested and begged for the Key in vain. Seeing my pitiable plight the agent at pondicherry, consoled me by providing a old time 'Starter Edition". From January 2011 to December 2012 I have not seen or used the installed Microsoft Word 2010. What was the necessity to Lock the Programme, when the Computer is being delivered by Courier in a sealed carton, direct to the buyer without a intermediary. It did not serve any purpose other than harassing the buyer
3. McAfee's security Centre - A sample alone given for 15 days and regularly pestering for buying it. What was the harm in giving full usage, when buyers have never bargained about the price of the computer before placing the order.
4. When some programmes failed to show up and when contacted the Customer care (The Dell agent in Pondicherry), he just dodged away saying something. To my luck I corrected the problem myself as it was a minor problem. Customer care became a Customer Don’t Care.
5. When a bigger problem cropped-up in early December 2012, the same Agent fixed up a date to fix my computer and never turned up for more than 10 days. As I am wasting money for the Internet at the rate of Rs. 25.00/day, I had no other choice except to engage a Non DELL Wizard to set right my computer. My saved items all gone before the computer was attended to by the Non DELL Wizard.
I was very sadly disappointed on seeing your mail dated 14th January 2013, about the De-activation of my account.
So, DELL is removing my account and all backed-up files. Instead of throwing away my Precious backed-up files into the Bin, why not as a Kind Gesture, send the backed-up files in a Disc, Of-course FOR A PRICE fixed by you. Iwll take the DELL relaton ship as a FREE TRAL FOR 2 YEARS
Finally, I want to inform you about few of my Friends’ advice before I ventured to buy a Dell desktop. Some said “DELL is DULL” and some said “DELL is HELL”.
I started living with the Computer from the year 2000. Never had any Problems

Dell Xcd 28 — Delay in replacement
Dear Sir,Please find attached a acknowledge receipt, delivery challan and bill of my mobile Dell XCD 28, I have submitted my mobile for replacement (It has replacement warantee) on 8.9.2011, where the replacement was done on 5.10.2011 when i checked my mobile it was not working properly then i resubmitted it by 12.10.2011 and still it is not done till today, if we ask them for the delay they didn't cooperate with us, and simply replied that DELL has no stock so we can't do anything, you call to dell customer care number. So I called up many time over the customer care number[protected], the team picked up the phone and when they transfer the phone to concerned department the phone disconnected everytime, also i visited the the service center around 10 times (Appx) Please look into the matter and resolve my problem, since the phone is more than two month with the service center/dell. , so you are requested to do the needful and take an action to them.
