Indane Gas — extremenly poor service, overcharging on home delivery of cylinders.

My consume no is 04446 with M/s Prayag Indane, Aurangabad. The complaints are following: -
1. Registration of new cylinder takes place only after 21 days of delivery.
2. Even after bookings, there are several reminders required for delivery. Normally, it takes 10-12 days after the booking.
3. The cylinder costs Rs 320, but they charge 340 per cylinder, and do not provide any receipt.

i reguar cansumar of indane gas, by khwaja nawab gas service, ghaziabad.todays i placed a order to booked my gas cylender to above gas agency.but booking man say i unable to booked your gas at that agency, and says kindly trasfered of your cannection to an other gas agency.
sir, at now no prier advertisement notice how can say the gas authery to unable to booked the gas .
please take the neccesary action againest the relative gas agency to avied the problam of cansumar. thaking you.

I do agree to the woes faced by these people and I am also one of them.I am trying to find a way to reach Indian Oil corp. and make a legal/formal complaint.
I think others should also try similar things otherwise the gas agencies will continue to harass the customers.

I beg to inform you That I have registration of 1cylinder of Inden Gas from 2002. Now I want Second cylinder, I regisered from 2007 but I have not given till date.So I request to you kindly consider my case as soon as early.My registration No as follows.

Agency name- Sachhi gas service, k block kidwai nagar kanpur (up). This agency gives delievry after 10-15 days. And then after books next booking after 21 days. It means we get every refill after 35-40 days.
is it correct policy to deliever refill gas cylender by indane gas compan

we have booked for refilling the domestic cylinder at VICKY agency tagore garden new delhi (Consumer ID--30046) at[protected] but didnt received the cylinder even on 28 july 2009 .. they dont even pickup the phone and whenver go there and aske they simply say today or tommorrow we will send the cylinder ...

Indane Gas — Gas book missed

I have missed my gas book and agrement papers. My consumar number: 34616 and service no 086064. how to get my gas book? Distributer not respond about my complint.

Indane (Indian Oil Corp.) LPG. — not receipt of Regulator since 1-month, for New Connection.

i have purchased a LPG connection from M/s. FFP Cooperative Gas Agencies, Sector-II, Dhurwa, Ranchi-834004 (Jharkhand), on st 26:06:2009.
at the time of payment Rs.5574/-, i received only 2-nos of filled gas cylinders+1-no Pipe+1-no of apron+1- no. of Gas Stove but not the regulator. the issuing authority told me to get it within 1 to 2 says. but now it is more than 1-month but still i have not received it. every day i make a phone call to the dealer, then they reply "yet the regulator is not available".
sir, now you tell me, i have not purchased the new LPG connection just to keep it at my residece. it is useless for. please try to deliver the regulator within a week or refund my paid amount with intrest. i shall buy it from other Co. like Bharat or Hindusthan.
hope to get a favourable responce from you very soon.

dear sir, now a days your service is very much poor. not only in delivery of LPG but also attending the complain as well as attending telephone. the delivery man donot like Home delivery. normally they deliver in a open space or a play ground and we consumer forced to receive it from theit after paying the full amount. where as the amount should reduce due to non-home delivery.
please check it and improve your system for future.

Indane Gas — late for connection

I am a customer of Indane and Distributor address is BR Gas service, 5-50 Chanda Nagar, Hyderabad. I want the double cylinder. I went to this distributor and he is saying the shortage of printing papers. Daily he is saying the same reason from one month onwrds. They are not registering the names or customer number who are requsting for double cylinders. I asked them to register names for the list whom delivers according to seniority of registered. this procedure should follws by all distributors as a rule of Gas agency. But these people are not doing this and giving the double cylinders to their friends, relatives and expecting the extra money from the customers. This type of people should remove from the employment and take any senior action on them. Is it possible the printing papers is daily shortage in gas agency? what these people are doing daily, are they donot know to get printing papers from agency. Such a worst people are spoling the indane gas agency name.

Indane Gas — no delivery of booked gas

I have complain against Sarwatra gas service.Kanpur. I booked for gas on 16/7/2009. reminding them for delevery on 25/7/09.but no result. then on 27/7/09 I made a complain at [protected] customer care and got a complain no. 18822. they said i will be getting gas in 24 hours. but till 30 th july i did not recieve gas so again i complane to[protected] and there i was told they are again forwarding my complain .
Today is 3/8/09.even till now i have not recived any gas cylinder refilled. so now tell me what should i do. I rang the no [protected] but no body answer the phone. I HAVE LEND THE GAS FROM MY NEIGHBOUR.I m very much dissatisfied with my gas agency.
Kindly let me know what should i do.

Friends, why do we yell and cry to the unheard ears of the authorities of the Gas companies. Government at one side pat themselves for catering the best of services in every field and new laws are made and the old laws are altered and ammended to shut the mouths of commons. The commons are made again fool, they are so innocent that they again believe them.

Come On ! my beloved compatriates, complaining and yelling will not solve our problems. Staff at The Gas agency will never improve their attitude. All the Gas company's agencies are one and the same, be it an Indane, Bharat or HP, it looks like they are trained to master in their attitude.

The phones should be kept busy.
If at all you get them on line, you face their mood and attitude and then request them for booking.
Waiting for 4-5 days, if you do not get the gas, upon enquiry, you will be told that you have never booked the gas at all.

The above things are common since ages and the gas companies never like to take any step in improving or correcting the serious issues. Friends ! things will not improve till the time we take things in our own hands, till we stop getting victimised by such people, till the time we break our silence, till we show our anger in action to the higher authorities. Then only the higher authorities will realize how serious the problem is. Right now the authorities know that people manages themselves, they yell and cry for some time and then they get used to with the conditions of the supply of the gas.

Make change, it is all in our hands, one individual can not bring the change, each and every citizen should be involved to make the changes successful.

Our duty will not be over in just elections, electing the leaders and sending them to their respective law making offices. Why not make the leaders realize that we the citizen of India has the power not they.

My dear brothers / sisters please wake up and feel our responsibility of making changes else keep crying to deaf ears and to blinds.

I am Consumer of Indane Gas since 2008, with Brindavan Gas Agency BHEL, Consumer ID- BGS-80658. I applied for 2nd Cylinder long back after that I went 25 to 30 times for asking current status and they always replied please come after 20 days today they told me we cant provide the 2nd Cylinder due to unavailability of Regulator(which is not required in my case), could you please help me on the same either they dont want to give the 2nd cylinder or they want some money under the table.

Indane Gas — sanctioned refill has not been delivered even after a week

I called up our agency "Gokul Gas" Vyttila, on the 27th of July(Monday) and they informed me that I would get my refill on 29th, Wednesday. I stayed at home all day and the refill did not come.

I called on 3rd August(Monday) and they said the refill had been sent on the 29th. When I told them I had been home all day, their reply was that the delivery boy was new and could not find my house. When I said that it was their regular excuse, they said may be the boy had pressed the doorbell and it hadn't worked properly. Their excuses are always so lame and foolish and if we ask them for an explanation, their language turns vulgar.

When I called on the 3rd, first a girl answered the phone, and she was going to take my booking, but then changed her mind and said the refill will be sent on the 5th (Wednesday). Between the staff, themselves, one person says one thing and the other another thing. This has been going on for months now. Every time I have to keep on checking. They always say the refill was returned uncollected.

I can only surmise that rampant malpractice is going on. Please do something about this.
