Hi,
I ordered meal on zomato from arabian tawa, jogeshwari west, mumbai. The quality of food was so pathetic. There was so much salt in mutton baida roti. Firstly the orde was not on time and then this bad quality food. Why do zomato promote such street side restaurants when they can’t deliver good quality of food. Please revert on this and compensate. What is zomato doing about it??

    This zomato company is totally into fraud. They give schemes through online payment. Well i ordered my dinner around 9 and after 30 minz i get the information that my order has been delivered, where as i haven't received my order. When i tried contacting the customer care, they were giving false hopes stating that they wil deliver the food in 10 minz. I still waited but till 10 no response. When i contact them again, they were like sorry mam order cancel and all other stuff. Now you guys tell me at night 10 where shall i order my food and which restaurant opens at 10. Please zomato if you need money for employees ask for donations, kindly don't do such frauds. They have siad me to wait for 7 working days but i know everyone says the same thing but never gets their money back. Please and stop giving those credits. If you really want to give something please be honest with your customers. And there's no official complain register or site for you zomato. How unprofessional..!! Good luck with your company. Please do something about it and be professional.

      I am rushali this side,

      I have placed an order from zomato of pizza hut and there was no delivery done from the zomato's end and when i contacted the pizza hut branch, they said that the order has been cancelled from their shop, but the zomanto ppl have already deducted my amount from y account, thereby no food ordered also and amount of rs 480 also getting deducted.

      Hi, today i placed an order with Zomato(order id: [protected]) at 11:38 AM, but i haven't received my order upto 2:38 PM when i tried to connect with customer care it's not working chat support guys not given proper update, always they are saying your order is in on the way. finally i have requested for refund still they haven't response.

        Food orders on zomato today by 9:30 pm and the restaurant has handed over the order for delivery to zomato guy by 10:00 pm but the food was not deleiverd even till 11:30 pm. After we contacted the through live chat they are communicating that they have cancelled the order without giving any reasons. Cancellation is not intimated to us until we called back and their cancellation team is giving false allegation s against yhe restaurant that they have cancelled the order. On our response that the restaurant has confirmed the handover of the parcel they changed the reason to non servicable area. Both are pure lie since i ordered from the same restaurant yesterday and they have delivered it. I hav e ordered food for my kid and waiting for 2 hrs without any communication. This is pathetic and they just say pls convey your feedback in live chat and not following any escalation matrix even after repeated request and have just initiated refund of the payment.
        My kid has to go to sleep hungry as they have cancelled the order after 11:30 and no restaurants are opened and they denied to arrange for any alternate order as well. This is really a pathetic service and looting the customers. Rigid action need to be taken against them and i need a compensation for this agony suffered due to zomato.           I ordered a meal worth rs.687 last night. It was delivered to me at 11:15 pm and i did not have change for the same nor did the delivery guy. I had a 2k note and the guy said he'd get the change from some shop outside.

          He never got back with the change, and when i tried calling the number he called me from, it was not reachable.

          The number did ring today but he does not answer the call.

          I have contacted zomato support countless times,
          Have spoken to 5 different executives.

          Last night i spoke to one who said-

          1. Let me call the deliver guy

          2. Not able to reach the delivery guy

          3. We will escalate your issue to the concerned department

          4. You will get your money back in 24-48 hours.

          Today when i write to zomato support, a new executive turns up and asks what the issue is.

          I explain for the 2nd time the entire story.

          He says the same lines as above. The same 4 points.

          After hours, i contact them again.
          New executive. Says the same lines, plus he also said - "your money would be delivered to you today, that's a guarantee from zomato end"

          I never got the money.

          So i have done this over for 5 times now, and there has been absolutely no progress.

          I keep hearing the same things

          - delivery boy not answering the call

          (Is that my problem?)

          - we will escalate this to the concerned department

          - we will get back to your in 24-48 hours

          And then that's it - everyone forgets about it.

          I needed cash urgently. Rs.1, 300 is not a small amount, and definitely not one i'd give away merrily to a zomato thief.

          I'm suffering for something that i am not accountable for.

          Thank you very much.

          I am sick and tired of asking for my money.

          So i'm done.

          Now-

          1. I am filing an fir against the delivery guy with the number that i have

          2. I am starting with the legal case against zomato.

          This is done in Banglore, I had a parcel got delivered at a pg in Koramangala, but I didn’t find the parcel so checked with cctv footage, found that a person from zomato came to deliver food had picked the parcel and left . Can I get any help.

            I placed an order with zomato and the order was not delivered even after two hours of waiting, there was no calls regarding the delay and i had already paid the amount online, after two hours the status says order is delivered and when i enquired with the customer care representative his explanation was delivery guy assigned is not responding. Is this anyway to do business? I have been made to wait for two hours and there was no proper assistance and i lost my money

              I ordered the food using the zomato and was in a hurry so asked the chat supporter to please deliver the food within 1 hour. He ensured that the food will reach in 40 minutes. I was under the impression that all is working out well, however when i looked after 30 min the food wasn't dispatched.
              I called the restaurant and got to know that the food has been ready since last 20 minutes but the delivery boy refused to deliver food to that area.
              I confirm zomato then and they said that it is all a lie and we track everything from here abd food will reach in next 15 minutes. It was already 1 hour 30 minutes and i had also missed my office cab.
              Then after a fee minutes they cancelled my order and stopped even replying on chat support.

              Very unprofessional behaviour on zomato's part. This is the reason that other brands like swiggy are flourishing and even performing better in terns of service than zomato

                So i ordered from momo i am before it started raining heavy here.. By the time my food arrived it was just drizzling slightly. I received my food and went upstairs back to my room. So after 5 min a got a call from an unknown no. I received and it happened to be the delivery guy who just came to give me my food. He asked me if i was still in my flat and if he could stay in my room for sometime because it seems the weather was too bad (Which was not! It already stopped raining at that time). So i denied to him politely as because no outsider should enter my flat was the rule. But he kept on insisting me. Also he said that he wont do anything, he’s not that type of guy what im thinking about bla bla.. But seriously? Why on earth would a girl who is alone at her flat would shelter an unknwon man? After that i didnt receive his calls but he kept calling me with other numbers too.
                What i want to say is.. This was something very inapproriate for him to ask me for such kind of thing. Idk if he really wanted my help; but when i clearly said that its not possible he should have just left. Rather he kept calling me number of times. And on top of that it was not even raining anymore.

                  I recently ordered food from zomato for the 1st time, i did my online payment with my bank account.
                  Delivery boy was talking very rude talking he cant speak what ever he want to speak with customer.
                  Here i had order some stuff from the bakery for my son bday.
                  Zomato accepted the order and after 1hr delivery person says there is a lot of traffici cant delivery ur stuff at ur location. Cancel the order.
                  On the day i was busy with my meetings so i had ordered with zomato they are telling me to cancel my order. If they cant even delivered the order why they people says zomato can delivery anywhere in hyderabad within less time.
                  If they cant maintain there standards why do they doing business.

                    I received a order which was irrelevant to the one.. Restaurant name:wow chicken.. And i went through the chat support and tha one who was in chat dint give me any proper response in the chant.. Right now to am texting and no one is replying...in this midnight i order a food and got a irrelevant one which am telling to ur customer support and they are not replying to my text or neither they are calling mr.. Ridiculous service and am going to this to hight level for the service with all the the chat which i have and also the response from ur customer service..

                      Greetings for the day

                      I am running a quick service restaurant in raja park, jaipur

                      I am also a merchant in zomato
                      My restaurant id is 103148

                      Its been more than 6 months that i complaint about the device on merchant helpline that the notification of the orders is not enabled.

                      One of your team member came to look after the device and he himself admitted about the fault against the device and still i was charged for the support charges. Which is not at all right

                      After that i was charged against the logistic charges as 70.80 inr as a logistics as i know i haven't signed for any document stating that the logistic charges would be 70.80 inr as per my knowledge i was told about the 16% logistic charges as per the actual amount

                      I have stated every order id against which i was charged for support as well as logistic charges but till now their is no solution against it i want a complete refund against the charges i have charged for as per my knowledge i was charged incorrectly as the support charges charged and the logistic charges was charged without my fault and without my knowledge.

                        Placed an order in balaji santosh dhabha, as rao nagar, hyderabad an amount of rs.709. Order no in zomato is [protected]. Payment was made through online net banking axis and payment reference no is inb/[protected]/razorpay software pvt limi. While making the payment amount was deducted from my account, but in zomato.com it was showing payment incomplete. Immediately i did called zomato customer care number,[protected], but its not worked out. Because that number always said that, "sorry our executives busy at the movement" i tried two days. Given complaint through their website zomato.com. Still now nobosy responded on this and the amount is not credited. I want a proper answer when i will get my amount back. Food was not delivered. This is not an acceptable way

                          I placed an order on zomato of two pastas from wtc pasta in goregaon west. The delivery man did not turn up even after 1 hour. When i called him, he claimed that he was not able to find my location and had returned to the restaurant. I had placed my order through zomato and given all the details. Yet he made such stupid claims. He also demanded extra delivery charge to come and deliver again.

                          He spoke to me very rudely on the phone. I had to guide him all the way to my address. The restaurant had no concern about my order. I had prepaid for it and zomato didn't even provide proper service. Zomato didnot do any background check on the delivery boys. I had a horrible experience.

                          I want a complete refund of my order.

                            Ordered food through zomato. Delivery was delayed and inspire of it food was cold. They are being food in open hand and not sure where are the places they kept in bike. Even small delivery company bring food in box safely and avoid unhealthy ways. Two guys came to delivery and i have to decline since food was cold.

                            Had tough time to make chat support agent to understand the issue. They just provide copy paste answer.

                            Same experience had yesterday and tejas from customer care called apologising and promising this will not happen. Zomato is worst service

                              Hi, i have ordered a boneless chicken biriyani from 9 grill hotel. It was a prepaid order. Two boys came for delivery. While delivering they didn't give the bill with the order. So i returned the order and asked customer care for the refund. Now zomato support is telling that delivery boy has delivered the order and we can't refund. They have cheated me and didn't refund at all. And also they disabled support window for me. They have arranged a telephone conversation with the delivery boy now the delivery boy said i came alone and delivered the order. First of all, they don't have any billing system and there is no proof of delivery. They took my money and cheated.

                              I placed an order today, the didn't received the order . After checking through the Zomato chat support they say the order has been delivered. I tried calling the delivery executive but he didn't answer my calls. After some time even the chat support stopped responding.

                              Happening with me probably now. I'm yet to get my food. It has been 2 hours. Chat support is also not responding. Disgusting Zomato. Even I've a gold membership. I think I have been cheated by Zomato. They just looted my money.
                              On 7th October 2018, the order was placed accidentally. Seems to be Zomato app behaving weirdly. Charged full amount via PAYTM . When contacted the restaurant and Zomato both says order cannot be cancelled but order not received yet.. and the app says delivered...don't know who is responsible and enjoying?

                                Ordered from zomato at 2:00 am, from a restaurant called sethi's, but didnt receive any update from your end even after 1 hour of promised time. No response as well, no correspondence from either zomato or the restaurant, and above all no sense of apology from either of the parties - not picking up calls neither replying back to my queries. Definitely not ordering from zomato again

                                  I have ordered food in kfc through zomato. After placing the order there is no action taken from zomato side and restaurant canceled the order. There is no proper reason given by zomato for this. More over the order time was 10 o clk, zomato took more than 45 mins to give a reply back. Due to that i can't place next order and after 11o clk all restaurants closed. Due to zomato, i am starving today without dinner. Please take proper action. My order id is kfc order id #15092474

                                    I had placed a order on Zomato, the delivery time while placing the order was 45 minutes and a even had the audacity to charge a 20rs delivery fee. As soon as the order was placed the delivery time was increased to 90 minutes. Who waits for food for 90 minutes, Zomato? Why do you even have plans to deliver from such restaurants?
                                    And over and above that, the chat support guy tells me to wait for 20 mins even on repeated questioning...

                                    Placed the order and got the food after 2 and half hours.. When i complained on twitter and fb.. You guys didnt even bother.. I need a compensation.. This is one of the most pathetic service i have ever got.. Seriously!!!

                                    Zomato has literally made a fool out of me when i called the delivery guy.. He dont even have thr courtesy to pickup the call.. When i called tje fourth time the number is busy.. When i call the fifth time the phone rings but no answer.. Finally after 15minutes he returns the call,, asks who is it and i explain what am i trying to get.. He complains about restaurant and asks to call restaurant.
                                    When i called restaurant, they said the delivery guys has gone from here to meet his friend and denied to take food... Seriously this is such a pathetic customer handling. I did connect with zomato customer they dodnt even respond timely.. We have to wait atleast few minutes for them to reply to us for each msg.

And zomato care person already had a word with rolls mania manager name vijay said very clearly that he dose not have shake available but still why the zomato person said that u can send the order without the shake we will speak to the guest but i have not spoken with anyone regarding the same,, i want to know why this kind o[censored]seless service your giving to the consumers. And the delivery person is not bother at all. Because of this nonsense things of zomato staff i am sleeping without food. Very poor and pathetic service.
