I was travelling with my son between bypanhalli to mg road. Person of ticket counter in byapannahalliwas extremely rude. Refused to accept rs 200 note so got change of rs 40 of which 03 were notes and 01 rs 10 coin. Still he refused to accept it. I could not understand why and i had exhausted my little knowledge of kannada. He said i better know kannada as it was the language of the state. I showed him my army i card and told him that i was a serving officer and not from karnataka. Still he continued in kannada and kept talking in an abusive manner. Finally he threw 2 ticket coins at me. Very repulsive behaviour from staff.

I was travelling with my son between Bypanhalli to MG road. Person of ticket counter in Byapannahalliwas extremely rude. Refused to accept Rs 200 note so got change of Rs 40 of which 03 were notes and 01 Rs 10 coin. Still he refused to accept it. I could not understand why and I had exhausted my little knowledge of Kannada. He said I better know Kannada as it was the language of the state. I showed him my Army I card and told him that I was a serving officer and not from karnataka. Still he continued in Kannada and kept talking in an abusive manner. Finally he threw 2 ticket coins at me. Very repulsive behaviour from staff.

    I entered Hoshalli metro Station at around 5.00 PM in the evening. This is about the frisking guard who is positioned at the entrance. Basically, as you enter you are met with the males' frisking booth, and females are required to ascend the stairs. I'm a FEMALE. I blankly stared at him and walked away.
    The next day, I'm yet to set foot inside the metro station and the same guard from the previous day, stops me and keeps calling me! And NOW I KNOW THAT HE IS UNABASHEDLY TEASING! All the spectators around me are also calling out to me: "Oi!", they shout to me, probably assuming me to be a security threat, the shameless guard has managed to ruin my reputation and legally speaking (I'm a law student), he is indisputably liable for defamation and the Indian penal code for outraging the modesty of a female. I continue my way, ignoring all of them.
    I hate his behaviour, and if I see him again tomorrow, I will lodge an official complaint with the metro station and the police.
    The incident may seem inconsequential, but it is not! And thus, what I've been experiencing for the past 3 days, at the Hosahalli metro station, from same male frisking guard is nothing short of causing harm to others and specially women who have to walk on egg shells to protect themselves. Such behaviour is invariably capable of hurting someone's self esteem. More than that, I was humiliated!

    Take suitable action against such pathetic and outrageous male frisking guard.

      misbehavior by a metro staff

      Today i tried to take metro from baiyyappana halli metro front gate to nayandahalli. I had only 2k note and when i had no change i gave the same note to the ticket issuer of counter 3, but the ticket issuer started scolding badly and asked to stand in the counter 2 queue as counter issuer may have change. I didn't understand why they can't coordinate themself and get the change to the needy passengers. Next i stood in the counter 2 which was big queue and when my turn came the ticket issuer started scolding and abusing me badly saying from where this type of people will come and only this lady giving 2k and we never saw anyone like this lady and simply they were around 3 counter issuer were started scolding badly to me. I didn't see any ethic's or diciplane or respect in their duty. We need educated and diciplane issuers in the ticket counter. We don't want loose talking people as ticket issuer. I have seen and faced many such incident in baiyyappana halli metro station.

        My mother Jayamma went to byappanahalli metro station at 9:00 a.m on Wednesday (29th May 2019).
        She asked ticket for "Vijayanagar" and gave rs50/-.. The ticket issuer, a lady issued ticket to "Jayanagar" and returned rs 5/- back to my mother. When my mother asked why is the ticket given to Vijayanagar? She started shouting at my mother and abused her badly with filthy words. My mother started crying and nobody came for my mother's help.
        It was the ticket issuers mistake of giving wrong ticket and inturn she started abusing my mother.
        I want this issue to be taken up seriously and escalated to the highest level in Metro.
        Metro is provided by the govt for commuters to use it effectively, it doesn't mean that we have to listen to unnecessary words of the ticket issuers and resist the tantrums of them.
        Take this issue with the ticket issuer who was on duty on 29th May morning 9a.m

          I am a daily passenger of metro i was forgot my metro pass so i had go to buy token but in sandal soap factory ticket counter the guy with little curly hair was not responding passengers in counter he was in unwanted talking with another counter staff. We are not coming to waste time as a passenger i dont like to waste time but i have wait 5+ minutes in counter for ticket there is only 3-4 other passengers only. When i ask question about his irresponsible behaviour then he start shouting on me.. I hate this kind service and its not fair. Please take action on him.

            Parking at ksr railway station has been prohibited from past few days. This has really become a nuisance for daily travelers who used to park their bike and take metro.
            Police frisking personal scolded me for parking inside the metro premises. Outside the premises, locals park 4-5 cars, and hence 2 wheelers are left with no option.
            I also took auto for few days, but this only delays. Locals even threatened to damage my bike.
            If parking is stopped for recent terrorist suspect, then parking should be prohibited across all the metro stations. But i don't see that happening.
            Request you to kindly look into the matter as soon as possible.
            Time for the next metro not displayed in dasarahalli metro station. There is no announcement made as well.

              Dear metro authority of bangalore
              Subject - harassment by security guard for carrying food item
              Date of incident - 7th may 2019
              Place of incident - trinity metro station
              Person accused - security guard & station manager

              Here i am reporting unacceptable practice & harrasment by security lady everyday at trinity metro station. I would request investigation & termination of the employee.
              On 7th may at trinity metro i was stopped by the security guard & detained & questioned for 20 mins for carrying a tetra pack of amul buttermilk & asked to throw the pack before i enter the station, which as per the attached rule book is not mentioned neither anywhere mentioned a passenger cannot carry normal food items, when i mentioned bout the rule to station manager he could not validate nor stopped the lady from harrasing me further.in entire country in none of the metro i have faced such issue or security guards who harrash passengers like bangalore trinity metro does without any valid reason. The cctv footage can be checked on the incident.
              The same security guard has harrased me once before along with her colleague. Even after reporting there has been no action taken by trinity metro station manager.
              I seek justice & seek metro trinity to be fined for harrasment to passenger.

                Mahalakshmi metro station:
                Out of 5 counters only 1 counter is operational at a time even if there are other staff members present who are busy chit chatting. Also they don't receive card payments at times and speak rudely to public. How does one know that they are not accepting card when they are in long queues without displaying it. Nobody in staff is ready to acquire the other counters even if the queue is long enough.
                To metro authority:
                The concept of minimum balance of rs.50 in metro card is not logical when the minimum charge for one station is rs.8.

                  I purchased 2 tickets at yelachenahalli metro to go to vidhana soudha at around 07:15 pm on[protected]. There were 2 ticket issue counters. One lady & one man in the counters. I got ticket from the man. I gave rs.100/-. As per the display kept in the counter the total fare for two tickets was rs.80 and balance displayed as 20. However, i noticed at the vidhana soudha station while depositing the token at the exit gate that the value of each token was rs.35 i. E total rs.70/-. I request you to take action against the staff and also please find out how he managed the display to show the 2 tickets value rs.80/- against the actual token value of rs.70/-

                    To the authorities,

                    We request high attention and intervention in crowd management in namma metro.
                    Few doubts raises was metro rail designed for the current crowd, what is the maximum number of people who can travel in one trip, what controls are taken to avoid accidents, there are pregnant woman, senior citizens, who is responsible in dumping in such huge crowd where u have no space to breath.

                    The securities at each station such ruse behavior, they are filling pushing people in at tip of door with high danger and risk.
                    We are ask to hold bags in hands, working men and women are almost 99 percent who regularly travel in metro, why should anyone leave lap tops at home and travel??
                    Before things go. Worst before we regret no safety measures are taken, i request pls pls kindly consider safety measures we cannot be so crowded risking ones life travel in a public transport.
                    Parking person has charged rs 50 for parking of two wheeler from night 20:00 to 00:30 (4.5 hrs).
                    ...
                    Please make announcement inside the train regularly to vacate seats for senour citizens .

                      Swami vivekananda metro station staff highly uncooperative. They refuse to give change for small price tickets and leave us stranded and helpless. They behave worse than the autorichshaw drivers. And they also refused to take a slightly dirty but not torn new 50rs. Note. The lady behaved highly unprofessionally and actually imitated me when i tried to tell her that it's not a torn note. Im appalled by this behavior

                      I had asked metro card recharge in customer care. The lady was so rude and told me no we cannot do it and I don’t have change...this happened in jp nagar metro station...staff doesn’t know how to give response to the customers. She should have answered me politely saying we have rules and we can only recharge 50rs here
                      I have recharged on[protected] for twice with amount of 1250. But only once recharged amount is reflected in metro card. 1250 recharged amount is not received in my metro card amount.. please check with this and get me the response as earliest..

                        Inspite of staffs warning not to climb on the escalators, people still climb and run through the escalator pushing by the other passengers standing on it.
                        Stairs are provided next to the escalator even then they do not use. I understand from a staff at vidhana soudha metro station that people shout at them asking them to keep quiet when staff insist them not to climb on escalators.
                        This is a very serious concern and to be restricted immediately.
                        I see this on daily basis.

                        Another nuisance is watching mobiles with loudspeakers on which troubles all passengers.

                          During peak hours senior citizens find it difficult to travel in metro. Yesterday i have travelled from majestic to mgroad by about 8.15 and it was packed like pressed tamarind. Many seniors are suffering even during normal journey by standing in normal queue. Next to ladies coach, one compartment is to be allotted to seniors. Kindly take up immediately.

                          Metro train is designed for only few standing passengers and only few are allowed to stand near doors surrounding the centre rod grip. But in practice, during peak hours, passengers are allowed to stand to the edge of door and some times, doors are hiring the back of belly of passengers while closing. It us against safety norms and boarding g and alighting passengers are also finding it difficult.
                          My online recharge Top Up transaction with transaction id CTX[protected] processed on 19/03/2019 for Rs.500/- has not been successful.

                          My metro card number is [protected].

                          Kindly update me when the refund would be processed.

                            Even your section engineer murali ‘a letter has letter has failed to help us, pfa the voice recorded at my house at night 1am,
                            If we as citizens start calling you every day at 1 am, how disturbing it will be - it is affecting our heath very badly,
                            I am my self not able to recover.

                            I am in my first trimester. I usually carry cut fruits to my office. I have to change from the lines in between. Total 1 hour of journey. I was taken back when a security guard stopped me from having grapes at Indiranagar metro station. Metro corporation let me know what am I supposed to do. It was very inhuman from your end.

                              allowing of scissors

                              In the malleshearam, mantri mall metro station, i wasn't allowed to carry my 4 inch pair of scissors despite having been allowed to carry it in the previous station i boarded. The security in charge was incredibly rude, and refused to cooperate even though the scissors was blunt and had been carried for a project. The incident occurred on 16/01/2019 at 3:45 pm....

                              Hi,
                              The metro card is not able to recharge from customer care in baiyappanahalli metro station. It is mentioned that counter 4 can be used to recharge the card. But no employee found in counter 4. So what is the use of this card? The card owners have to wait in queue for recharge. Which is the violation of offer by metro department.
                              I request you to take a proper action on this.

                                I have raised complaint two times and still the complaint department did not respond to my complaint and they are not working on so many people complaint. If department is not intended to work on complaint then do not provide this kind of facility to people to raise complaint.

                                If the rail department is not interested on working people complaint. I request you all employees to sit at home and enjoy your wife children scolding whole day.

                                  I have noticed lot of people inside the train metro. They look at them and start laughing on them. Why? What is the problem with those people are they crack or are they god that they look at other people and start laughing on their face.

                                  They think they are superstar or they are prime minister of india.
                                  They only have good face in the whole universe.

                                  What they think that they are only the handsome and smart people in the whole world/.

                                  I think those people should go back to school and learn some good manners and come back again to adult hood.

                                    In the jalahalli station whent i was went ask for the ticket at the ticket counter at 3:50pm (21/11/18) and the ticket charge is 42 rs to the mg road i given 50rupees and they asked me for 2 rupees change but i dont have 2 rupees of change.. And that lady employee said we cant give 8 rupees of change give 2 rs or go back.. Then i was requested them plz its emegency i have to go.. Finally they did not provide me ticket.. I was just came out from the station.. Please some times understand the situations and dont behave like that.. If you are at the same situation what can you do?.. Kindly take the action and make comfertable for people.. Love ನಮ್ಮ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ
