The three-carriage trains are causing a lot of discomfort. They are packed like sardines with hardly any place to even stand on. Why is is that bmrcl not increasing the number of coaches, especially during peak hours, when passengers can't even get into the train from the interchange station!

Please look into this. Though the three carriage system is supposed to carry 1000 passengers, they must be carrying carrying much much more. Even from a business sense point of view, it is imperative that bmrcl increases the number of coaches.

Secondly, with the coaches packed like sardines, it gets stuffy. The ac is set on such high temperature that it has no effect. As a result passengers are much inconvenienced. Why can't some staff notice all these?

    To,
    Chief public relations officer,

Subject – request to refund undue penalty of rs.50- charged today[protected] due to technical snag in

    Dear sir,

With deep regret i am complaining this matter and request your kind self to refund undue penalty charged in cash of rs 50- fifty only, today[protected] at jaiprakash nagar metro station, bangalore.

Today i recharged my metro card with rs.500 and it showed rs. 512- as available balance. I am student and a regular commuter between jp nagar to national college for my studies. Yester day at national college metro station due to low balance entry gate for metro platform was not opened so i did my journey up to jaiprakash nagar by valid metro token.

Today after recharging with rs 500- again entry gate of platform not opened and guard sent me to customer care booth. I was told that computer is showing my entry in national college station on[protected] and so i have to deposit fine rs.50- in cash for not exit through metro card.

Whereas entry gate was not open yester day [[protected]] at national college station due to low balance and i completed my journey for home station jp nagar by metro token.

Please, look in to the matter and arrange refund o[censored]ndue penalty of rs. 50- to me. I have to further request you that on some occasion my metro card not works properly and shows red light on entry and exit gate.

    Thanking you in anticipation.

There are many staff in the dasrahalli metro, even when they see people are approaching the lift or elevator, they don't even bother to press the button, they wait till the passenger to come and do it, lot of time goes like that... And we miss metro due such behaviour.

      Hi team

The complaint is w. R. T 2 wheeler parking facility, i parked my 2 wheeler scooty on 26 august 2017 at 4 pm, at the swamy vivekananda metro parking facility. When i came to take my 2 wheeler back on 27 august 2017 at 10 pm the parking authority charged me 80rs. As per the rules 5 am to 12 pm is considered as a day, the guy illegally charged me 80rs he says 2 days 60rs+night charges 20rs. When asked about why should i pay night charges he says its there on notice board (Which was not) and when asked to give the accurate bill, he gave me 2 bills of 30 rs each (I am attaching those along with the complaint). When asked about why am i getting 2 bills then he tore 3 bills of 30rs each and asked me to pay 90 rs. I would have argued with the authority and complained about this but i had to leave to attend a meeting. Finally i had to pay 80rs to him and leave from there

Please resolve the issue and make transparent rules, if the rules are correct then why was i given a single bill?. The guy gave me 2 fake bills by taking the one which had In timing of my bike(which is with him). I request the authority to please take strict action against such acts. The 2 bills which i was given shows in time as 27 august 9:47 pm which is absolutely very wrong

This happened at rajajinagar metro station on 22nd august 2017.. One lady had to use the washroom so she had taken 10 bucks with her which had a little ink stain.. On being asked to the staff for ticket for that note.. The staff refused arrogantly.. The lady asked the staff pleading to let her use the washroom in exchange of that note... The lady staff misbehaved with the lady.. This shows lack of humanity concern among the staff.. I think the staff members have to be given special training regarding humanity concern and human behaviour.

            Sir,

On 28th jul 2017, along with my wife we boarded 8:37 train from swamy vivekananda station to majestic. The incidence is recorded in your cctv.

            1. At counter we did not see or missed the fare chart.
2.in any case, we asked the fare to the counter personal, he did not say 56 (28x2), instead straight away asked for rs. 60/- and never returned rs. 4/-
            3. We realized this during exit and dropping the token.
            4. The counter guy neither told the right fare nor told he doesn't have the change. This shows he is doing intentionally.
            5. Later we realized he did same to the earlier couple passengers as well, he did not return the change.

This is not the question of rs. 4/- but the integrity of the bmrc.

This guy can early thousands in a day and lakhs in a year where not even a ias officer or highly paid job will be paid so much.

Daily we get so many videos like 80 year old people selling on platforms for their living. These type of people are worse or sin than this.

Appreciate your honest intervention. Not demanding this guy to be fired but definitely some action against him.

            Thanks.

Every evening in working days the ladies of neighbouring offices near central college metro station with the help of metro staff skip security check scanning from x ray machine and also body check by lady police by using lift for senior citizens and physically challenged person s. Considering the rush hour and thick traffic this is a high security risk for general public
Terrorists may use this. Lapse and cause danger. Bmrcl and the police should check this by sending these commuters to regular enterence or set security instruments like x ray scanner at lifts also. Especially at vidhana soudha vikasa soudha and central college metro station s. If allowed to continue during deepavali these commuters may also carry crackers for their children in metro in scanned. Please do the needful.

On 3rd august 2017 by 2:25pm i went to 5th counter of dasarahalli metro station for ticket. Since it was having a medical emergency i was not having change. I was having rs.100 and i asked for a ticket to goreguntepalya. She informed me to go 3rd counter since she is not having change. I went to 3rd counter and asked for ticket. She was very rude and her behaviour was so cheap. She was raising her voice. She was more cheaper than a slum guy in movies or roadside.

She asked me to give exact change. When i informed that i don't have change she informed me to get it from outside. I told her that i have taken permission from my office for an hour to pluck a tooth and coming back from dentist and it is emergency, so kindly help. She started chatting with her bysitter telling that "everyone will come with rs.2000 note. Can't they bring proper change, when they know that they want to have a metro ride. These people don't have sense" in kannada.

I had brought rs.100 not rs.2000. Do everybody, everytime have change? Is this such a big mistake that i committed?
On top of it she misbehaved and showed inappropriate behavior again and again. Later she gave me change. Means, she had change but had not given to me and also rudely behaved.

I lost the faith on namma metro. I thought that the standard of bangalore will increase further due to metro. But i was wrong. You should go to other states, send your daughters and sisters to other states and see how they are treated.

I now feel like metro is only for 3rd class people who are able to argue with that lady who sits in 3rd counter in dasarahalli metro station. Try to give a minimum level of training for her so that atleast she wont treat the others like the way she treated me.

I may not again ride a metro i guess. Rather i will prefer an ola or uber. I have posted the same in the public websites also. Hope you will take actions in favor of public.

There is lack of automated machines for ticketing and also food vending machines. May be the introduction of these could make it a win-win situation for both bmrc and the commuters. I understand that the metro hasn't been in operation for long but it is a part of the daily lives of many. It is easier for a lot of people if they could quickly get a token from a machine and also a quick drink or a snack from a vending machine.

I have been regularly traveling in metro, i have notice the ac is so cold, its really uncomfortable to travel for long distance, cool air was flowing from top making my head feel the cold. I think the temperature was between 18 to 20 deg. It can cause sickness/cold and also huge of fuel is wasted for cooling, which is again a environmental issue. Depending on season and crowd you can set the temperature. It will definitely help to save lot of fuel cost to metro and people will feel comfortable.

Hii. Having travelled in many metros around the world, and was a frequent traveller in london tube for about 5 years. Now a resident in dubai. The idea of namma metro for giving each platform a number like 1, 2, 3, 4 is little bit of confusing the new users.in dubai metro they call each platform with destination name. For eg: the train to rashidiya will arrive in rashidiya platform. Like that they do the direction board as well. My suggestion you please avoid platform nos, instead call it like mysur road platform or nagasandra platform. Direction board should show towards mysur road. Now its showing towards platform no: 2. A new consumer will not be knowing mysur road is platform no: 2 or byappanahalli is platform no: 1.

                      2) atleast 2 or 3 station names along with the destination station name should be displayed in each platform facing wall to make sure the traveller is on the correct direction. For eg: a person standing in kempegowda station, mysur road platform should be able to read on the wall like kempegowda station... Krantiveera... Magadi road... Mysur road
                      Regards
                      Nash..
                      Dear Team,

Instead of keeping every metro pillar as empty, make it informative with creative designs. About our history or tourism or the promotion of local art or promotion of home business in Karnataka, like wise.

For Example: Every pillar will remind us our great history of Karnataka, with pleasant picture form.

                      Thank You
                      Mallik
                      Dear Team,

The Bengaluru metro is legit very convenient as we can reach the destination as planned and hassle free. But the only problem I feel is in the signages within the metro station. The sign boards in the Majestic metro station is kind of confusing and I always ask people around to make sure.
Also, it would be much better if every platform had a route map of the train instead of just saying 'towards kengeri', for example. This would help rare or new users to check the map and board the train.

                      Thank you,
                      Sulekha.

                        Sir,
I travel from jalahalli station to majestic and from majestic to sir m vishvesvaryya station. I have seen that the frequency if green line trains is still 10 minutes whereas the frequency of purple trains is 4 minutes. Since the frequency is 10 minutes the train is over crowded. Further after getting down in the majestic station invariably we have to miss one train and take the next train. Hence we are getting late to the office. I request you to ply the greenline train after every 5 minutes.

                        Thank you

                        Geetha sridhar

                          Dear Sir,

I recently had a fall in the Byappanahalli metro station and my ankle was injured. After this my doctor has advised me to only use lift . Today 4th jan 2016, morning when i came to the station to board the train to use thelift towards the byappanahalli, to my shock the lift towards the platform was not working . When i addressed it to the attendants they told me to wait for 5 minutes it became 10 minutes, 15 and then 20 minutes and nothing was done . When I got furious a person told the concerned person is delayed please adjust. Is this the way an Organization like BMRCL should function. There is only one lift and they have constructed a stair case which is extremely slippery . When i told my problem an official from the control room came and spoke to me very RUDELY telling we have OTHER WORK . The metro charges more money from its commuters, why cannot build atleast 2 lifts at each transit points. This is EXTREMELY unfriendly to the injured challenged and senior citizens. I request you to take this complaint very SERIOUSLY and take STRINGENT action against these Irresponsible ground officials in the Mysore Road Metro station .

                          Thanks & Regards,

                          P S KUMAR

Until 10th june, the metro station was operational without any issues. Passengers would park 2-wheelers in the area opposite station and collect the vehicle once their work was complete.
Today morning there were a group of 8-10 boys standing at the road entrance, holding a ticketing machine and asking every 2-wheeler to pay 30 rupees for parking in a public road!!
When questioned, he said bmrc has installed this plan and it is there in every metro station. Which is completely false, because i checked every other station on that route and there are no people collecting money.
                            T. Dasarahalli being one of the most crowded stations, some people have decided to rob the public of their rights to use a public road and park vehicles there (And let me assure you, that the parking is completely unobtrusive to any other people or vehicle movement).
