[Resolved]  Reliance/CRBT — CRBT Service invoked without my consent

WHEN IAM TRYING TO SEND THE CRBT UNSUB 1003 SMS, IT IS NOT ABLE TO SEND THE MESSAGE, LAST MONTH IT WAS DEDUCTED RS.20/- IN MY PREPAID ACCOUNT WHEN I SAW THE SMS I HAVE TRIED FOR UNSUB SMS TO 121 IT WAS NOT SENT, TODAY JUST NOW I GOT THE SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL MESSAGE FOR MY MOBILE AND IT WAS DEDUCTED THE RS.30/-, NOW BALANCE WAS RS. -2.37 SOME THING CHANGE, SO PLEASE RATIFY MY PROBLEM AND KINDLY TAKE THE NECESSARY ACTION AND REFUND MY BALANCE TALK TIME AMOUNT.

Reliance Mobile — Service invoked without my consent

they have invoked 'office humor' service without my consent and are refusing to accept, they say go to our office and talk. They have already deducted Rs 30 and even after repeated requests they have not stopped the service.

Should TRAI or any other authority take action against them?

How to deal with these guys? The service is just Rs 30 so a lot of people don't fight, as they don't register complaints on phone they ask the person to go to their office 'webworld'.

Is it possible to go and fight for 5, 10 , 15 or 30 rupees? where no one is ready to listen. Why this problem is not with Vodafone, Airtel, or Idea????

I have two reliance phones and recently I opted for the new scheme and got the phone recharged for Rs48,
Same day they activated Office humor on one phone and cricket alert on the other and when I complained they said you have activated the service. They are harassing customers because no one will fight for 30 Rs, at the same time they have a huge customer base. They are cheating people and making money.

Reaching customer care is pathetic you even get messages like this number does not exist.

Even after repeated complaints they have not deactivated the service.

I hope number portability starts soon...

On 16th October i got sms from the number 51234...that is from reliance.. it ststes that:
YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO CRBT SERVICE HAS BEEN RENEWED AT RS.30 FOR A PERIOD OF 30 DAYS. TO UNSUBSCRIBE SMSUNSUB 1003 TO 155223(TOLL FREE).

Now at first instance i was really shcoked as this happend after my new recharge and that too for a service which has been renewed which i have never subscribed. And from a long time i cant even connect to reliance customer care coz it is busy all the time!!! what the hell they are doing while they are not even attending calls and solving customer grievances!!! and this is like snatching money out of someones pocket! its not stealing or cheating ... i wud say its robbery!!!
please some one tell me whether any one got any positive sign from reliance regarding this complaint!!

I am also having the same problem.
Reliance is making money by deducting our account for value less services.

I also have beed deducted with Rs 30 without any request from me .Reliance authorities must attend to such cases which effect the customers faith on the service provider. A further expectation from Reliance Commmunicatin is that they will refund back the amont dected in the name of CRBT


please some one tell me whether any one got any positive sign from reliance regarding this complaint

hi all,
its the same case with me. the ril has deducted rupees 30 sending a msg that the CRBT service has been activated ON 25.10.09. Thing is i havent askd for any activation of such thing. when asking to unsubcribe 1003 to 155223(TOLL FREE), therz no response to the sent message. how can u ril people decuct the amount without the concent of the customers. pls dont repeat this to ur loyal customers ... DO THE NEEDFUL AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE AND REPAY BACK THE AMOUNT

the customer care took the complaint and said the CRBT was activated on my request. i have askd for refund in the morning for which it was accepted. i waited till afternoon and contacted customer care later. the response was the amount could not be refunded. but u can deactivate it. ril has always been negative to customers. its v bad on their part.

It is really a extremely annoying situation that Reliance telecommunication is doing such aggravated burglary with honest customer.
i was chatting with my friend and suddelny i got a message for deducting Rs.30 for activation of CRBT service without my consent. i kept mobile for call purpose. i even didnt know at that time; what is CRBT. i called to my bro and asked about it. Reliance people are shameless guys. they dont even accept their fault.
Now i am desperately waiting nos portability.
