[Resolved]  Reliance/CRBT — CRBT Service invoked without my consent

In my Reliance mobile No.[protected] I received a SMS that "Your Subscription to CRBT service has been renewed at Rs.30/- for a period of 30 days" To unscribe SMS. UNSB1003 TO 155223."

I AM SURPRISED I HAD NEVER ACTIVATED CRBT service but last month Rs.30/- were deducted and also on 22nd November Rs.30/- has been deducted from my account balance. When I send SMS TO UNSUBSCRIBE TO 155223. MESSAGE IS NOT GOING. (Returned as +155223 No default configuration).

This type of cheating does not speak well for a reputed organisation of Reliance.

This may be discontinued forthwith and I may be intimated in above email ID please.

Yes, it is very annoying. The same has happened to me too and i too have been LOOTED for the last 2 months. IS there any one in your empire who is listning ? Mr Ambani ?

I also got the same issue which you people suffering. Now days they are subscribing the STYLE service without taking consideration of customer and charging 10 rs.

This is really frustating.

They are making money by using such tricks.

what the hell is this i would like to raise the issue with this forum. Reliance has activated CRBT service without my consent. I recieved a message saying that CRBT has been activated and Rs 30 was deducted my Prepaid Account Balance.I had already subscribe START DND SERVICE.
Reliance customer care number *333 is out of service then where can i complaint
call me immidietly otherwise i will put up these issue to news paper

I had never subscribed any of such stuff from reliance since using reliance.

Well i have a Reliance number [protected] which is on roaming now, and i just received a CRBT service renewed message from Reliance without my consent.This is very wrong means.Reliance should allow only the owner of the number to activate such service from his/her own mobile.

I changed my plan to 1 paise per second and at that time specifically checked to confirm that now no intention to subscribe any additional services. The reliance world staff had chacked and confirmed the same. Since last 2 months in my prepaid number [protected] reliance deduct Rs. 30.00 towards CRBT service which was never subscribed ( recently couple of days back deducted Rs. 30.00 again ). Better to approach consumer foreum against such un-ethical practice, which I will be in next 48 hours.

After having been a victim of similar sort of day light robbery from Reliance Communication, I had registered my number to the Do Not Call Registry. Since then I have not been receiving any SMSs or any computerised calls. Prior to that I have de-pocketed to the tune of almost Rs. 300/- odd by such rough tactics. It is really shameful on the part of Reliance Communication to have resorted such type o[censored]nwarranted and unwanted tactics. I would like to convey the message that there are many other legal ways of making money. Do not ruin the name of your father. Better stick to the principles set down by your father the Great Legendary figure Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani, or else the future is very dark for you.

This happened to me too. I don't know why Relience thinks its necessary to steal to run a so called 'Business'. There is some other service called VAS that has also automatically renewed (I don't know how something that new can actually be renewed, I have never subscribed to it)

I am also facing same problem, I am a reliance CDMA user since last 6/7 yrs. This happens to me since last 3/4 months simply they are deducting Rs 30 per month from my account and sending a message saying you are subscribe to CRBT. Please look into this matter. My number is : [protected]

They deducted Rs.30 from My account on the name of renewing the CRBT service, which was never subscribed. I sopke to customer service on 14.1.2009 ar about 8 pm, when the phone was attended after about 30 minutes. The reply from the Custome Care (Mr. Tanmay) was that the server is down and they were unabe to provide any information or take any complaint. My phone no. is [protected]. A revolution against such dacoity is very much necessary and TRAI shall take steps against Reliance for such cheating.

I got a sms from reliance saying that CRBT services have been activated in my mobile and 30/-Rs deducted form my prepaid account. I am totally shocked. I didn't expect such mean things from Reliance.

I am facing the same problem. They have charged for CRBT Service and for caller tune without permission. Would request to TRAI to blacklist Reliance Communication .

Even me too have the same problem. These deduct Rs30 and set a useless caller tune. Mother .
