[Resolved]  Reliance/CRBT — CRBT Service invoked without my consent

yes this is a very cheap method of money making...

my cell number [protected] and today i have received a SMS " YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO CRBT SERVICEHAS BEEN RENEWED AT RS.10 FOR A PERIOD OF 10 DAYS.TO UNSUBSERIBE SMS UNSUB 1003 TO 155223 (TOLL FREE) from 51234 at 04.11.2010.04:47:01PM, When I send SMS TO UNSUB 1003 TO 155223. MESSAGE IS NOT GOING. (Returned as +155223 No default configuration).

So i have never active this service, and rs.10 had been debit from my a/c balance. Please look into the matter and reverse my 10 rupee

Please reverse my Rs.10 only immediately to my cell

Try sending the message to 51234 like I did & I got the message "Dear Customer, the keyword for unsubscription for callertunes has changed. Kindly send UNSUBCT to 51234 to unsubscribe from Caller tunes service"

I sent UNSUBCT 1003 to 51234. I hope this would work.

i have encountered the same problem. reliance has been activating the CRBT service without my consent as a result of which my balalnce keeps on reducing by Rs.30 every month. Please let me know the procedure to deactivate the service next time.

i am also affected this type of problem.

Relience has activated caller tone without my request.I came to know when my friend called me up and asked what rubbish he heard while calling me.
This is totally ridiculous and cheap act of minting money.

Me too had the same problem,
I called their cust care service. They are saying that i have applied for caller tune, and that's what their record says. They are given the time / date also when i applied. But i am 100% in the said time and date i was not even using my handset, and it was kept on the desk.

I strongly feel that this is a fake request made by them only and to deduct our balance, to make out more money.

Mr. Anil's organization doesn't know any other way or what to make more money??;.
I am not going to leave this just like that.

What the Hell method to make money is this...

thats why they are not growing as their others Reliance companies are doing.

RELIANCE IS JUST DOING WHAT IT LIKES TO DO THEY ARE DEDUCTING OUR BALANCE BY SIMPLY SAYING THIS AND THAT BUT I AM 100% SURE THAT I NEVER APPLIED FOR CALLER TUNE SO HOW THEY CAN SAY WE HAVE ACTIVATED CALLERTUNE AND EVEN AFTER SENDING unsub SMS THEY DEDUCTS OUR MONEY...COME WE WILL RASIE OUR VOICE TOGETHER

Reliance telecomm is no more a trust worthy telecomm provider .They are making profit by doing such kind of rubbish work.how can they do such kind of activity without any information they are activating crbt service and deducting 30 rs from our prepaid account...

I would like to raise the issue with this forum. Reliance has activated CRBT service without my consent. I recieved a message saying that CRBT has been activated and Rs 20 was deducted my Prepaid Account Balance on the dtd. 04/01/11.

bloody reliance cheated with 30 rs stating your crbt service activated for 30 days without my consent

Reliance has activated CRBT service without my consent. I received a message saying that CRBT has been activated and Rs 10 was deducted my Prepaid Account Balance. The outgoing calls also not working & giving msg as network busy.Problem is in Relaince n/w I think Reliance having worst services.

On 16th Jan 2010, reliance activated the CRBT service without my knowledge and they have deducted Rs 30 from my prepaid account.

I got a CRBT renewal message on 06/02/2011 at 04:15 am. When i called customer care executive for it details, he(ahmed shekh) told me that i subscribed for this service on 04/02/2011. when asked for the time he told only date is available. then i told that I never subscribed for this service and i got renewal message. then he told me that rental is cut from my balance. but i got renewal message. i told him how this could be possible that i subscribed on 04/02/2011and after only two days i got a renewal message. he did not provide me any detail or any information. when i told him that i will go for consumer court he told go at your wish. i have recorded that call. i want my balance.
