Hello Sir,
I have booked Aranyam River Retreat, Mohanchatti, Rishikesh with check in date of 18th June, 2014 and check out date of 20th June, 2014 with GoIbibo with booking id-HTLUZ7XBVQ. I have faced so many difficulties while staying in the resort due to which I had to leave within a day.
1. The portal was showing 2 rooms left when we booked the resort but when we reach there, it was only 2 o[censored]s in the whole resort. We would not have booked the resort if we were aware of actual facts.
2. The portal also never mentioned that there were no fences around the resort, how can such an important thing be missed by them. Being a girl, I was very insecure and had to leave the resort within a day as trespassers were seen anytime. Even there was no guard in the resort. If it would have been mentioned on the portal, we would never opted for it, who will take the responsibility if something happens there as villagers have full access to the property.
3. Also, we opted for River facing room with all meals. But there was no buffet in the hotel. It was told to us that they cannot levy the buffet for 2 people. If that would have been the case whey we end up paying for buffet services. Even for Alcarta there was no menu card in the hotel. It is simply cheating the guests.
4. Also, the travel portal is mentioning SPA Services(chargeable though), yoga and meditation but on reaching there we came to know nothing like this ever happened there or can be arranged as there was no room for SPA services. If this was the case why they are fooling the people who wanted to go to such places to relax.
Not only, I had to shed so much money as I have to stay at haridwar unnecessary for one day coz already had a train booking on 20th evening but have to face so much trouble and mental harassment in all this chaos and waste of time and energy. I had to even comprise my paid leaves for this trip which was all misrepresented by this travel portal.
I would like you to take urgent action on them so that more people should not face same difficulties and help me to get my hard earned money back from this portal. Waiting for your strict action on the same.
