I booked a international ticket via goibibo.com from New Delhi to Cape town , and had to cancel the flight due to Visa issues.
so as per the policy as per goibibo i can either reschedule / Cancel my ticket 24 hours prior to the time of departure , so i called and got the ticket cancelled.
It was also confirmed but by the rep on the phone and said refund will be initiated in 1 week.
So after the cancellation 3 weeks went by and i called ibibo to check the status of the refund and they informed me , so how its getting delayed from Airline side .
Then i got a call back next day that even after scheduling a planned cancellation of the ticket , i have been shown as no show on the airline and will cost me 5000 more apart from the other cancellation charges that were being deducted from the airline and ibibo.
I inquired and spoke to there manager 3-4 times that i was told to get the ticket cancelled with in 24 hours , then why i am shown as a no show on the flight . So i was told as per new policy from airline it 48 hours .
This is so obnoxious as ibibo has no idea about the Airlines policy , and i kept arguing and eventually fought but all i got was we are sorry .
So i finally agreed and asked to initiate the refund of what ever amount is left after cancellation and no show which came out to be 45000/-
No its been 2 weeks and after 15 calls to ibibo and talking to there so called supervisors and managers i have still not got the refund and i am being charged of late fees on my credit card because of them .
This is the worst service ever i have faced from a travel website , and every time i call them , all they do i lie that credit note is been received, refund is initiated , it will be credited .
Managers promise to call back , but they never do .
its actually haunting me , and i have tried everything to get my money back but still no luck.
Can we file a case against them and i will warn everyone not to USE GOIBIBO ever for booking any ticket /hotel .
Its better to stand in the queue to buy a ticket then to face such harassment .

GoIbibo — Not Get Refund
I have cancel my ticket PNR no YM3F2 on 16 Jan 2012 from first direct from Airlines and then from Goibibo.but still i have waiting for my refund. every time they put me on hold and did not respond me.
Please help me on that.
