I had booked airline ticket from goibibo.
It didnt confirm because of some technical issue and they deducted Rs 20313/- from my account.
They said they will refund the whole money in 24-72 hours. But its been 8days i didnt get my money back. I call them everyday, they say it is under process. Such a pathetic service they are giving.

    Sir...Please...Please..Help

    I have booked the hotel Om tower located at MI Road, Jaipur from 12th to 14th November 2015 from website goibibo.com.

    We have 3 booking with following names:

    1. Mr.Mazhar Vasanwala (myself)
    Booking Id: HTLUHNFG4W & HTLQ685CMQ

    2. Ms.Tasneem Khanjiwala (booked with extra bed)
    Booking Id: HTLULM9EB2 & HTLYAMY88S

    3. Mr. Shabbir khanjiwala
    Booking id: HTLK72EFSV & HTL4Q7GN47.

    During the booking of Hotel, it was showing swimming pool facility and that is one our reason to book good hotel for diwali vacation and we have also made payment to goibibo. However when we reached to hotel and inquired about swimming facility during our check-in on 12th November, hotelier said that it is not operational. I was shocked and complaint about it to Hotel reception but he told us to talk with goibibo and goibibo is responsible for it. When i talked with customer care of goibibo, she told us to wait till 24 hrs to resolve the complaint. However they have not resolved complain till date and goibibo was saying that :

    "We would like to inform you that the information mentioned on the website is not wrong. Hotel do have swimming pool facility, however within the period of your stay at this hotel, swimming pool was under maintenance.

    As you have done checkin and stayed, we can not refund you the money".


    My Question to goibibo is :

    1. Is there no liability of Goibibo to check whether facilities described on your website is true or not and if yes facility is there then it is operation or not?

    2. Why Customer will not check-in if customer get to know about hotel is not as per specification given on gobibo website when he is at doorstep of hotel and goibibo customer care has told him to wait for 24 hours to reply his query?

    3. Why we should not get refund if goibibo was saying after trip completion that : "You are not eligible for refund as you have done checkin and stayed" while as during first complaint before checkin they have not said anything regard to same.

    4. Is there any penalized action against hotel who are giving wrong information on your website?

    They have also removed swimming pool facility after our feedback then How they are saying that it is under maintenance.

    flight cancelled by airline due to their reason and now not refunding money

    my self booked ticket of flight through goibibo, from delhi to lucknow. flight got cancelled. Goibibo got all proof and required documents, including cancelled cheque and proof of ID . Now failed to pay the refund.

      Thugs, their Gocash scheme is just a vague attempt to get ticket booed through them. Of Rs.2000 Gocash amount offered, they allow you to use only Rs. 230. Don't get trapped thinking you will be able to use Rs.2000 Gocash for the next booking.

        I had a horrible experience with goibibo theives, i was try to booked Airline ticket on 25 Jan 2016 .After selecting a flight and on payment screen system thier application stuck and the booking was not completed.Amiunt deducted from my cridt card and right away i raised a complaint to thier customer care and they confirmed me on email that booking wasnot made and amount will refund within 24-48 hrs .But in relaity no amount was refund post 48 hrs and i called goibibo and they said problem is from the bank, (which is impossible as i had already got a successfully paid message by the bank) i called the bank and they said it has been paid and they also gave me the proof which is the Payment Request Number.I again escalate message to Goibibo management team and they also said the same and i do some investigation at my end on 02 Feb 2016 and found 2 PNR number confirmed which is not made at the time of booking and Goibibo even not sent any confirmation email, when i escalated and advice the same to Goibibo management team they sent a conirmation email and not readt to pay refund .Even on their support team confirmation on email i made the same booking .

        SERIOUSLY DOUBT THE CREDIBILITY OF GOIBIBO AND MOVING TO CONSUMER COURT WITH A CHEATING COMPLAINT.

          I booked a hotel from goibibo app in chennai, The hotel name is Centre Point, the booking was paid but i was not allowed to check in the hotel.
          When i called goibibo customer support number, i got the response very late, they said they resolve the issue in 45 minutes and get me a hotel booking. Dissapointedly i did not get any call for them further, when i called them back there was again no response. The worst part is that all this was happening at night 11 . Where i was totally helpless.
          The booking id was HTLFWMRTAM.
          On the date of 30 jan 2016.

          We regret to inform you that refund cannot be possible if hotel denied check in due to unmarried / unrelated couple which also mention in the voucher. Although as a special case we have checked with hotel but hotel denied for any refund.

          Cancellation Policy
          Non-Refundable if cancelled after Jan 30, 2016 10:00 AM or on No Show.

          Fixed Cancel Charges: .

          Most hotels do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples to check-in. This is at full discretion of the hotel management. No refund would be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances ..

            I booked the hotel it shows as free cancellation and after that i tried to cancel the booking it shows refund amount is 0 Rs. Cancellation charges are 100% booking amount. Kindly cancel my booking and refund my amount:6010 Rs. Goibibo is playing like anything.

            While i selecting the room it shows free cancellation and no cancellation charges on booking.

            After completion of booking it showing as Cancellations are not possible without incurring a charge. Penalty Charge for cancellation is 100 percent of stay..Kindly cancel and refund the money back.

              I have booked three flight tickets from Chennai to Pune and Pune to Chennai. My flight got cancelled. Due to heavy rain in Chennai from 3rd to 8 Dec.

              Chennai to Pune 2nd Dec Indigo Flight 452 N6EG4Y96V


              For summary:
              I have made 2 tickets:
              1. Round Tickets: Chennai to Pune (2nd Dec) and Pune to Chennai (6th Dec) : Rs 13258
              2. 1 Way Tickets: Chennai to Pune (3rd Dec) : Rs 7000

              I paid total of Rs 20, 258.
              I got refund of : Rs 4742 + Rs 6516 + Rs 6650 = Rs 17908.
              I am still waiting for Rs 2350 the difference of what I paid.

              I am talking to "Mayur.ShingariCD", Its almost 2 months and goibibo is not processing my refund. I asked Mr Mayur multiple times to include any senior person, but he is not doing it. I have wrote around 20 emails till now to goIbibo, but no response yet.

                I booked hotel on 31st jan and i have cancelled on the same day. There is no cancellation charge if cancellatioin done before feb 25th 2016. But they have charged RS.608. Goibibo cancellation policy screen shot attached. Kindly refund the cancellation charge amount:608Rs.

So in this booking Goibibo has charged Rs. 608 as convenience charge from you. In this booking we did not charge cancellation charges because you did not use any promo code and the convenience charges are calculated on vendor amount and debited from refund amount.

                  I had booked Bella Vista Resort in Munnar for 2 days 20-22 December 2015 via Goibibo app. The booking was confirmed as HTLS8U4GBR. But to my surprise when I reached there the hotel staff denied checkin as they said they did not receive any payment from Goibibo. Then I called Goibibo customer care and after waiting for over 1 hr and harassment the Goibibo team booked another hotel nearby. I can adjust that. I returned back to Chandigarh and then booked a hotel in New Delhi by Goibibo named City Palace Guest House. The booking was confirmed as HTLLWKKNHW for 29 Dec 2015. This time I made a call to the Hotel to confirm my booking and they replied that they do not take any booking from Goibibo. I then called Goibibo customer care and they assured me that my booking was confirmed. I reached New Delhi at 11.30 PM and took a taxi to the Hotel. When I reached there the hotel staff again denied any bookings from Goibibo. Then I called Goibibo customer care several times but they put my call on hold every time and I was like nowhere in the middle of night. It was 12 past in the night and could not figure out what to do. The hotel staff was also very misbehaving. I started walking alone to find another hotel as I was having my exam on next day. I was about to book another hotel when I got a call from Goibibo regarding booking in another hotel. It was very difficult to find the hotel and I reached there at around 1' O clock in the night. The room was very dirty and I could not sleep whole night. My exam was spoiled and no one can fix it ever.

                    Dear Sir/ Madam,

                    I have booked a bus ticket from Chennai to madurai through GOIBIBO on 03.12.2015 for two passengers. Scheduled time was 04:30 pm. At 3:53 pm i received a message saying that the bus has been cancelled and i will receive my refund. It has been around 50 days and i am yet to receive my refund amount. I didn't contact goibibo in Dec 2015 thinking that my amount would have been credited. But referring my account statement by month end, i found that there was no credit. So i contacted goibibo customer care on 02.01.2016 and i was informed that i will be receiving the money within a week. But no refund till date. I have been following through calls from Jan2, Jan4, Jan11, Jan14, Jan18, Jan 21, Jan22 and Jan23. The reply i get from them is that i will get a call at the end of the day and they are processing the complaint. But i have never got call back even for a single day, it is me who is following for my refund. I am almost fed up by their response, am certain that there won't be any effective response regarding my refund.
                    Kindly help me with the refund.

                      - 07 Jan - I booked a hotel in Goa successfully through GOIBIBO for 23 Jan
                      - 15 Jan - Hotelier call me and asks to Cancel the booking. He reports an issue with hotel's electricity. I raise a request with goibibo-customer-care (request #1285308)
                      - 16 Jan - I am given assurance of an UPGRADED alternate accommodation or Cash back by GOIBIBO, I opt for alternate accommodation. GOIBIBO executive asks for 24 hours.
                      - 17 Jan - GOIBIBO executive calls in morning and asks for 30 minutes to arrange alternate, and never turns back. I call back in evening for an update. GOIBIBO executive asks for 24 hours
                      - 18 Jan - I call back GOIBIBO, they ask for more time and keep forwarding my call. I am promised of a solution in 24 hours
                      - 19 Jan - I call multiple times, GOIBIBO executive say they are working on the case. Put me on hold for really long intervals. GOIBIBO executive guarantees a solution in the next day morning.
                      - 20 Jan - I call up in the morning, afternoon, evening. In evening GOIBIBO executive say they can only find one hotel in Goa near the location I requested. I denied that offer, as I din't like the hotel. (It was a DEGRADED one. The one I initially booked was 3 star)
                      - Still awaiting solution after 5 days of logging the request, numerous follow ups and false assurances

                      I din't expect holiday planning to be such a ****ty business. All credits to GoIBIBO.

                        - 07 Jan - I booked a hotel in Goa successfully through GOIBIBO for 23 Jan
                        - 15 Jan - Hotelier call me and asks to Cancel the booking. He reports an issue with hotel's electricity. I raise a request with goibibo-customer-care (Request # 1285308)
                        - 16 Jan - I am given assurance of an UPGRADED alternate accommodation or Cash back by GOIBIBO, I opt for alternate accommodation. GOIBIBO executive asks for 24 hours.
                        - 17 Jan - GOIBIBO executive calls in morning and asks for 30 minutes to arrange alternate, and never turns back. I call back in evening for an update. GOIBIBO executive asks for 24 hours
                        - 18 Jan - I call back GOIBIBO, they ask for more time and keep forwarding my call. I am promised of a solution in 24 hours
                        - 19 Jan - I call multiple times, GOIBIBO executive say they are working on the case. Put me on hold for really long intervals. GOIBIBO executive guarantees a solution in the next day morning.
                        - 20 Jan - I call up in the morning, afternoon, evening. In evening GOIBIBO executive say they can only find one hotel in Goa near the location I requested. I denied that offer, as I din't like the hotel. (It was a DEGRADED one. The one I initially booked was 3 star)
                        - Still awaiting solution after 5 days of logging the request, numerous follow ups and false assurances

                        I din't expect holiday planning to be such a ****ty business. All credits to GoIBIBO.

                          I saw "The Camelot Resort" available on 13th Jan for dates 22-26 Jan. Goibibo asked for full payment in advance as only a few rooms were available & the payment was made throught net banking.

                          Booking was confirmed via email (booking id: HTL7BSSF2V) advising "No need to call us to reconfirm this booking"

                          I get a call post 17th Jan, with a shock that my booking is not confirmed as hotel is sold out & the representative asked for a day to confirm an alternate booking. Till today, I am following up with the customer service of Goibibo, but the only assurance I get "give us a day"

                          Transportation has been arranged for 22nd Jan, with no clue of where to go???

                          Shame on you guys. You do not deserve to be in the tourist marketplace arena.

                          Stop FOOLING your customers, you are nothing without them.

Last week i received a mail from Goibibo and they said there is some issue with this hotel so they are upgrading to some different hotel and when i cross checked that hotel detail in net it was 3rd class hotel as a replacement of 1st class hotel.                                 This is the complaint that I forwarded to GOIBIBO I booked a hotel for 30th of Jaunary 2016 Country Inn and Suites by Carlson Candolim Goa. I booked the hotel and I clicked and applied the coupon gokarde and and opted to use my go cash which showed me that the final amount that I would have to pay was about Rs.14000 and Specifically clicked the link and applied the coupon GOKARDE and opted to use my GOcash but today as I was chceking my bank details I came to know that the actual amout that I have been charged is 17121, which is a huge loss for me . Plus the Gocash which was amounting around 3000 has also been deducted otherwise. I want the amount to be refunded immideatley. I have been booking with GOibibio for a long time now be it hotels or filghts and especially via the GOKARDE offers. I called your helpline and the guy told me that no coupon was applied from our side I am not a fool! I specifically applied the coupon and click on the link and opted to use my gocash! I think there has been a technical problem from your side and I want to be charged for the original amount and be refunded the remaining cash. Or let me cancel the room I asked the helpline guy about cancellation and he told me that it can be cancelled and I will receive a refund of Rs 420. OF RUPEES 420! Do I look like a fool ? I have cancelled hotela before as well infact a few days back I cancelled a hotel booked for Jaipur and I received a full refund. I want this problem to be sorted as quickly as possible otherwise I'll have to contact the consumer forum. I have been swindled because I specifically applied the coupon code.

                                    We have booked air tickets with Goibibo for flight from Delhi to Indore on 12 Nov with Air India . But however since the flight has been rescheduled from Air India, we had to cancel our ticket and Air India agreed to pay full refund. After 15 days, we contacted Air India and they informed the refund money has been transferred to Booking agent Goibibo . We have contacted multiple times however Goibibo hasnt processed our refund fully until today. They are not responding to emails on time. We have given the details of refund from Air India to them to help out. We have made complaints with Goibibo customer care many times and issue has not been sorted out till now.
